28 August 1976

There was something about Percy. Molly Weasley didn't want to admit it. But she could not change the fact that her newborn's hair is the same colour like those of her brothers'.

Red like fire.

She felt uneasy the first time she saw her newborn's head. Thankfully the baby's eyes were the normal blue. He didn't inherited her brown eyes, -like Charlie, she thought. Nor green eyes from his father, -like Bill. Her third child it seemed, resembled more of her twin brothers, than that of his own family.

Nevertheless, she was just happy that she still managed to supply him with breast milk.

Molly Weasley felt guilty when she first rummaged through the houses she broken into. But she was constantly in dire need of shelter of food. She could not let herself be defeated. There would be no one to protect her child but herself.

It took longer than she anticipated to meet Arthur. A few days ago, she had already arrived at the outskirts of Ottery St Catchpole. However even from afar, she could see the chaos brewing.

She couldn't went back home. She couldn't stay at only one place. She needed to be constantly on the move. Who knew what those crazy fascists thinking, they might went back to places they already ransacked just to look for something.

But it was nearing a week. And she couldn't help but thought,-what happened to the Ministry?

Why didn't the Aurors came into the field to fight and protect innocent witches and wizards from the Death Eaters?

It was all in shambles. There was no order, no rules to what to do when things fell into chaos.

That was the reason they were so easily fell without a proper fight.

Molly Weasley felt angry. If band together, these innocent people could still lived, -if they had fought. But without a leader, all else fell apart.

She thought of one wizard who had the ability to assemble all the correct forces. And this time, she will join the fight.

Though deep inside her mind, she could not help but worry about those she held dear.

Arthur.

Bill.

Charlie.

Fabian.

Gideon.

She hoped they were well and safe. Please. At least let them escape without a scratch. She begged pathetically to higher being. in that moment, Molly, -while holding a baby to her chest, felt so small and helpless while wishing for her remaining family members to be safe.

The two males were on the run. They had constantly Side-Along with one nephew in each embrace.

Thankfully the two boys were put to sleep. The two older males didn't have enough energy to deal with young children.

A sharp pain went through their backs again. It was starting to drive them crazy. The older twin, Fabian, shared a look with his brother, -Gideon.

They had consumed the last of potions to ease the pain. They needed to find more potions to help them function properly. Which means, they needed to find places to buy the potions, or just break into the houses of witches and wizards.

While going through the woods, the saw light from the distance. A sense of gratification fleeting through their bodies.

They had found a place to rest.

They could still remembered the morning their sister dropped off their nephews.

It was supposed to be a morning like any others. Their parents were happy to spent time with their grandchildren. Their dad lifted both boys into his arms and went to sit by the fire place. Their mum had pick an album with a fond expression, intending to tell a story to her grandchildren.

So both Fabian and Gideon feeling content resided back upstairs, to finish a new potion they started brewing earlier that week.

Then without warning, high note screaming laden with anguish started from in front of the village gate. Something is coming. They knew, even without looking.

Abandoning the brewing tools, they both rushed downstairs to search for their parents and nephews.

Their mum had casted protection layers after layers on the front door. They could see the protective ruins activating all over the walls.

Their dad checked the Floo system, and trying to connect it to the Ministry, but the connection was stuck somehow. Their nephews were huddled together on the sofa, crying.

Fabian went to nearby window. Outside, he could see several curses flying around. Red. Green. Orange. They were the colours of the Unforgivable curses.

Then up in the sky, several logo of skull were already on display.

Gideon tapped him by the shoulder, to direct his attention to runes activating around their village. They were dangerously glowing red.

What? How can that be? When did they made it?

The runes erected a magic dome that prevented the people resided inside from Apparating. And even disrupting the Floo connection.

Like this, they were all trapped, like preys waiting to be hunted.

Something is not right. Fabian and Gideon looked through the window. The witches and wizards donning the black cloaks, their number was over thirty. Masks were covering their faces, so no one could guess their identities.

But this group, -these terrorists, seemed like they came well-prepared. Too prepared, it seemed. They had walked around, capturing the people around. Torturing, and asking questions. Until one of them pointed to the Prewett house.

Then, like they had already discussed it beforehand, a small group of them assembled, and walked towards said house.

Fabian and Gideon shared a knowing look, They come for us.

They didn't know the reason for the uninvited guests coming, but there was one thing for sure, they needed to find ways to save themselves.

The creation of Portkeys took some time to make.

First, they needed to know a place that would be safe, but not far enough.

The place they would arrived should be distinguishable and clear in their memories. The twin brothers didn't want to risk being lost in a different place than planned.

However they could not go to faraway place, that creation of Portkey would require a much larger portion of magic to make.

Their parents were busy increasing the protection of the house, so it was up to them two to make it.

Time was not enough, the cloaked figures would soon arrived at their doorsteps. Hastily, the two brothers decided a Portkey to a lake they used to play, more than an hour away from their residence. These people would not find them there, it was secluded in the middle of the forest.

"Portus!" they chanted, while holding their small family frame. They could practically felt their magic seeped into the object.

Exhausted, they turned their attention to the rest of the occupants in the house.

"Grab this! Now..!"

But they were late. They were too late. The door burst opened from the outside with the combination of magic fired rapidly by more than ten people.

In a second, their living room turned to shambles. Their mum was sent flying to the back of the room, her face bloodied.

"NOO...!"

Everything happened too quickly. The roaring cry of distress was too loud. Fabian didn't know who fired first, but the light were so bright, and green, and two of the cloaked people fell down. But the Death Eaters didn't let the attack to stop them, so they dispersed from the entryway.

"These blood traitors actually know how to fight!", The sound of their laugh was loud, and filled with maniac intent.

Their movements were not normal too. Some resorted to move by climbing rapidly on the wall. Some used animalistics moves to run on four towards the targeted people.

"The long history of Prewett ends here!"

Their dad reacted fast, he put suitable amount of magic and fired it to create a wall of protection in between them and the approaching pursuers. "Oh, .. Lucy.." Then, he summoned his wife's body while running towards the trembling young children.

Fabian went down on his knees. His eyes were brimming with tears. "Die. Bloody bastards." The Prewett house was not exist only for living in, but also consist of several magic traps only the occupants knew. He channeled some magic from his fingers into the floorboards. If there were some meticulous bystanders, they would noticed that something moved from the inside of his sleeves, into the very end of his fingers. They emitted a golden light.

"... DIEEE!" he roared.

The floorboards lurched upwards beneath the uninvited guests. It was a surreal sight, it was not a thing the woods would do. The transformed floorboards had turn into tendrils of some sort, and grabbed the moving limbs of fast moving witches and wizards. The unfortunate prisoners then were wrapped beginning from toes to their heads in fast motions.

"... these dirty blood traitors!"

But their determinations were not easily broken. Some had blasted the wood before it completely enclosed them. The fallen comrades however, were wrapped tightly in the enveloping tendrils. So tight, that there were several sounds of snaps and crackles, -and blood flowed through.

"... bloody hell!"

That was not the original function of magical floorboards though, -but it had became gruesome through the intents of the caster. Fabian was mad. And he continually channeling his magic to keep attacking the pursuers on floor, as well as on the wall.

Snaps!

Snaps!

The tendrils attacks like violent poisonous snakes. Three of the masked people let out loud howl and went down with broken limbs and bloodied bodies. They too wanted to retaliate and cast curses towards the only person that do the attacks, however the fast moving tendrils hindered their vision of the target.

"Now this is what I call a proper fight! This is the challenges we need!" the maniacal laugh continued on into the fight.

There were only seven of them still moving. Two towards Fabian, and the other five towards the rest of family members.

In the beginning of the attack, -at the same time that Fabian went down on his knees, Gideon had flew towards the direction of his parents and nephews.

He had launched himself by reversing the summoning charm to them. It should had been an impossible act, but Gideon and Fabion had experimented several magic spells and curses over the years; and somehow they were able to reverse engineered several charms and hexes.

With a loud Thump!, he had positioned himself between his family and the pursuers, Gideon took out his wand.

"... crazy bastards," he sighed.

He was already tired from the earlier exertion of creating Portkey. Fabian was able to use his magic effectively with the help of magical floorboards.

Then he too, will use the help of another branch of magic to protect his family.

Holding the wand in his right hand, Gideon lift up his left sleeve. "Merlin help us," he muttered. There, like a snake coil around from his wrist upwards to the rest of his body, were magical runes he had engraved unto himself.

The runes were thin and black with incomprehensible shapes. But when he put the tip of his wand on the runes, and saying some string of words -" et quod damnat deus magicis viventem", the runes activated with dimmed light of gold.

Inside his robe, his magic was pulsing aggresively originated from the center of his heart.

"... fuck."

His muscles undergone several changes. Within seconds, his limbs began to grow wider, -the robes felt too tight right now. The changes was painful, but he bore with it and did not let out a single scream. His view had became higher, -he turned several times taller. And his muscles felt heavy with unleash power. Pulses of golden magic was emanating from his body.

He had turned into the combination of troll and werewolf, -the unholy creation that made his body resistable to magic attacks, yet gave him faster reaction time, and stronger blunt attacks.

The dark magic fascists had managed to break through the magic barrier his dad put up earlier. They hesitated for a while after seeing the state he was in. " Merlin's beard..what abominable is this?" It did slow down the reaction a little bit. But it didn't last long.

One person from the right of the group test-casting a curse, "Cursio!". The Unforgivable was casted to the left side of Gideon. But instead of expression of excruciating pain, nothing really happened at him. Instead, Gideon kicked at the ground, the floorboards broke, and there he flew, -approaching the black-cloaked group at an alarming rate.

"... what monstrosity!", the person who casted the Cursio quickly evaded to his right.

But it was too late, Gideon swung his left leg, and his foot struck the unfortunate person.

His head was send flying.

The rest of the group exclaimed with various level of intensity. "This... this is not what I signed up for!"

Some still casted the Unforgivable Curses. "Imperio!" "Crusio!" "AVADA KEDAVRA!"

"Just die! You monster!"

Gideon went after another member. This one actually had the correct mind to levitate some objects to obstruct him. Slapping the things that came his way like using a fly swat to get rid of annoying insects, Gideon studiously went after the man. By now, the masked figure was seen trembling to the bone. Gideon did not give a damn. With his enormous right hand, he easily seized the member who was stuck to the ground with fear. The man gave a weak yelp. Then Gideon crushed.

The head burst like a squeezed lemon. Meat, bones, and blood went everywhere.

"... this is, the power of the heir." Gideon heard something interesting from one of the intruders.

It was a woman's voice. 'How did she know?' he wondered.

The Prewett did not spread their secret easily. Only the main family knew of the history of heir. And when they knew, they were forced to swear an oath of magic to protect the knowledge they were granted. Should they even think of telling, the magic would work to kill them from the inside. The pain was said, would be even worse than being casted a Crusio.

With this understanding, Gideon grew wary of the witch. 'She might be from Prewett herself.' Was she his Aunt? Grand Aunt? 'How did she.. ' How did she managed to talk about the secret? Without dying?

There were so many questions he wanted to ask. But then he shook his head. He needed to clear his mind. 'No matter. I just need to kill her.' In his eyes, new determination grew anew,'Traitor.'

The remaining three of the terrorists seemed to learn from their fallen comrades. "Wingardium Leviosa." "Wingardium Leviosa!" Instead of direct onslaught of magic, they levitated surrounding things to try to land a hit. One of them who was quick-witted took out a long string of rope from inside the robe. "Engorgio." The much thicker rope was then animated to try tying Gideon's hands. Or his legs. -Or even his neck.

But try as they might, Gideon was too fast. A collection of ashes and debris had risen due to constant movements. And the flying objects should disturb -or kill- a normal person, yet Gideon moved his body like he was dancing.

One person threw dining table from above his head. Gideon quickly evaded to his left. Still the objects dropping from above won't stop coming. A vase. A cabinet. Thick books.

Thud!

Bang!

Crash!!

Going right, then left. Then right again. The rope was coming to grab his left foot.

Slash!

But Gideon went up. And stuck his body on the wall.

"Just stay still! You slithering bastard!"

Gideon turned his head towards that voice. It was of another woman's. The person flinched. But she recover herself.

"See if you can stop this!"

She changed the direction of her rope, towards the back of his dad and young nephews.

Gideon wanted to stop the attack, -reallyhe did, but the distance was quite far. And the other two kept on throwing things his way.

Crash!

Bang!

Punching the things aside, he changed his mind to the woman who casted the spell. Gideon pushed his body from the wall,

Boom!

He moved very fast. The woman knew what was going to happen. She tried to run.

But it was too late. Gideon came down on the witch's back.

"...!!!"

She didn't had time to scream. Blood already splattered everywhere. Her rope stopped animating, -shrunk to original size, and fell down listlessly to the floor.

Gideon rose up from the mess. He turned his head to see his parents and nephews and checked whether they were safe. There, his dad's eyes were on him. The face looks apprehensive, with a hint of terror.

Gideon wiped the blood splattered on his face with the back of his hand. 'I must really look like a monster, right dad?'

He didn't know what happened, but thankfully his nephews weren't awake to witness the massacre.

"Blood.. bloody hell!

I'm not.. I'm not going to die!"

Screamed the witch who knew about the secret of the heir. She took out something from inside of her robe. Gideon couldn't see it, but it was a dark artifact of dried monkey arm.

By this time, Fabian, -his twin brother, had already crushed one more of his attacker inside the wood tendrils cocoon.

He looked over to his brother's side to see what the noise all about. Seeing that he had only one opponent left, he decided that it was safe enough to group his family, and used the Portkey he had hidden in his robe.

His eyes was stuck on the witch who was going to take out something. He focused his eyesight.

'That.. that is..'

That was a dark artifact that wizards used to control the magical beasts. It act like a bind, and would control the mind and body of the victim when it released the curse.

Fabian knew his brother hadn't seen the artifact. And he wanted to yell, ... but as if in slow motion, he could see that the witch had already throw the artifact at the back of Gideon.

His brother, thinking that it was the usual object they threw at him, swung his arm around. And it hit the dark artifact. The dried monkey arm broke.. Right at the moment it shattered, black masses were released in massive fog, -it let out a static lighting noise-, and surrounded the gigantic body of Gideon, enveloping him tightly.

"...GIDEONNN!!"

"...!!!!!!!!"

Fabian wanted to move over quickly, but the floorboards infront of him was a mess, there were holes everywhere.

So channeling another magic pulses into the floorboards, he lifted himself with the wood tendrils.

He knew it was a suicidal move, but the effect of the curse would lessen if it was interrupted. Without further thought, he launched himself into the masses surrounding his brother.

"... arghh!"

The black mass felt like fire on his skin, -and they didn't stop only on his skin-, the black mass seeped past the first layer of his body, travelling deeper into his soul.

The witch who threw the artifact watched with increasing sense of amusement. 'Crazy... both of them.'

But it didn't matter. With this, her job will become even easier. They will achived their goal. Yes, they will bring over the power of the heir to the Dark Lord. Death Eater will gain another, -two-, unstoppable resistances that they would be able to control at will. She smiled with delight. 'oh.. the Dark Lord will be so please.'

What she didn't know however, was the twin brothers' irises started to emitted gold light. The magic was not strong enough to deflect the trespassing curse however. But Fabian, with a move that he already master several times before, used his right hand to grab his brother's right wrist. As if suddenly woken from deep slumber, the magic from Gideon's heart manisfested, and shaping itself to the form of small golden lizard. The same happened to Fabian' magic. Both golden lizards then quickly travelled from the heart to the connection between brothers. And when they met, an explosion occured.

"BOOOOMM!!!!"

The witch and the remaining two black-cloaked people who gathered around, were send flying to their backs.

"What the fuck?!!"

They quickly got back on their feet. The ashes and debris however, were flying high clouding their visions. But the black masess was evidently, no longer there.

Then, from inside the cloud of flying ashes and debrises, one of the figure casted a spell in between the fascists and them.

"Incendio.."

The voice sounded weak. He had almost drained all magic from his body. The conjured fire was only limited the movements of the Death Eaters. The twins were going to buy some time.

With a weak bodies, they rushed to their parents and nephews.

Arriving at the scene, they realized that their dad was only holding their mother's cold body. He was still casting a magic barrier protecting him and the rest of the family.

".. mum."

"... dad, let's go."

Their dad look up sadly. Fabian wanted to cry too. But he stopped himself, and took out the small picture frame from his robe.

"Expelliarmus!"

The picture frame was sent flying from his hand. Fabian needed to think fast. He wanted to go get the picture frame, but it fell quite a distance from them. He looked at his brother. They needed to get out of this situation without no more fighting. There were no more magic energy left.

Eventhough the Death Eaters were still here, and active, and still firing curses..

"... go."

It was their dad's voice. Suddenly Fabian and Gideon both found themselves holding a nephew each. Their dad already cancelled the protective barriers. He stood up from the floor.

"... go. Sons."

It was a small sad smile on his face, while he gave a push to the back of his children. The twins knew what this means, their dad was going to protect them so they could leave. But they didn't want to move. They didn't want to leave their parents behind. They really wanted to save all of them. But when another set of curse was sent their way, and they see how much their dad struggling to deflect all the attacks, Fabian and Gideon moved their stubborn legs to search for the Portkey.

'.. at least..

.. at least Bill, ..and Charlie.. and Gideon would live', Fabian thought, with tears coming down his face.

Gideon spotted the Portkey that landed on the staircase. They went upstairs after grabbing the Portkey. It was time to use the magic item.

However, Gideon hesitated, "Molly.."

Yeah, their sister perhaps still alive. No, she would be alive. And they would meet. Someday, they would meet again, all the surviving members. So sharing a look one more time with his twin brother, he used the last of magic to scribble the message on the ceiling.

WE HAVE B AND C

There's no time to write properly. She would understand. She was a smart witch.

SEE YOU- TREE HOUSE

That was the only safe place, for them to grow their energy again. And there was also something they needed to do...

But do not come yet, dear sister. The time was not ready yet.

1 YEAR

Fabian and Gideon sighed. They looked at the Portkey in Gideon's hand. It was time for running and hiding. With little nephews in their arms. The brothers touch the Portkey together.

'One day, let us meet again.. Molly.'

With a disruption in space, they were gone.
