A man from Kaede village wanders through the forest to chop wood when suddenly Saimyosho stung his neck. The villager staggers back to the village to Kaede's front porch as he drops to his knees and onto his stomach.

"Help me Persist." The poor bastard reached out.

Kaede saw the thorn insert inside his neck. And desperately calls for Rin and she appears in the doorway with a panicked expression when she sees the man lying on the ground unconscious.

"What happened to him?" Rin has worried eyes.

"Saimyosho stung him." Kaede fussed.

"Simon – what?" Rin couldn't understand as she never heard of such an animal.

"It's a poisonous insect a demon left behind after he was killed," Kaede admitted. Before Rin was about to speak, Kaede cut her off.

"There is no time this man is dying." She fussed.

"What can I do?" Rin said in a desperate tone.

"Quickly go to Jinenji and get the medicinal berries. Be back before sundown or this man will die. HURRY RIN!"

"Right!" Why does it feel like I did this before, Rin thought.

Rin set off on her journey toward the forest. She thought to herself; Saimyosho's name sounds familiar. Walking along the forest she hears a bush shaking. She stops to stare at it and notices glowing eyes coming from them. A two-headed beast comes into view, creeping out and it frightens her as she runs away tripping over a large branch on the ground. The beast closed in fast as Rin flinched to hide her face.

He gently lays his head on her lap.

She uncovers when she notices he wasn't attacking her. "I thought you were trying to harm me." She petted his head then rose to her feet dusting herself.

"Alright, bye now." She scurried away still scared. But he continues to follow her.

"I guess you want to come along. I don't think the villagers would like me to have a demon for a pet, but you are kind of cute." She admits as he licks her face. She chuckles humbly.

"Well, maybe I could hide you. Alright, then you need a name." She clapped her hands once. "Let's see. You have two heads but one body. Hmmm. I will call you A-Un!"

His ears prop up responding to the name.

"You couldn't have picked a better time to follow me. I have to hurry." She climbs on his back and takes off to Jinenji village.

A while later she flies up to Jinenji startling him, making him spill water everywhere.

"Oh boy." He mumbles.

"A man is dying in my village because of Saimyosho." She fussed. Jinenji scratches the roof of his head with one finger, confused.

"You don't remember, Rin?"

"Remember what?"

"The medicinal berries are in the mountains up ahead from here. You've been there before to help a demon friend."

He tried to trigger her memory.

A demon friend? She thought to herself.

"Oh. Um well, I have to hurry, thanks Jinenji!" She proceeded.

"You're welcome." He waved bye to her.

(Kikyou. Theme ) - music.

Rin and Ah-Un split up to find the berries in the mountain. She paces through the mountain trial asking herself; when was I here? Why don't I remember? A howl interrupts her. Frightened by the echo of the howl. She nervously scans the area and sees six wolves from the wolf demon tribe. The wolves growl at her.

"Take it, easy boys," holding her hands in the air. She slowly steps back, clumsily trips over a stone, and lands on her bottom. One wolf leaps forward as she locks eyes with him unable to turn away.

This is it, this is how I die.

And in an instant, a beautiful white hair demon, dropped from the sky, crashing down in a kneeling position on top of the wolf smashing him into the ground. Time stands still as he comes nose to nose with Rin and the pair lingered into each other's eyes for a brief moment.

Her pulse skips a beat tunneling her vision into his eyes.

Suddenly a single tear flowed along her cheek. Her stomach knotted up and her body flush. All her sleeping memories awaken. The gap in her life is filled like a pale of water. Everything is puzzling back together. Her abduction by Naraku. Revived by the Medio stone. Abducted by Yokai Ongokuki. Almost killed by Jakotsu. Attacked by Kohakum. Abducted by Kagura, and lastly killed by the wolf demon tribe, and through it all - stands -

Lord Sesshomaru.

Rin gasps softly trying to catch her breath. And in an instant, Sesshomaru leaps off through the air. Her eyes trail behind him.

How could I forget?

A-Un shows up with the berries in his mouth sensing her sadness. He groans for her pain. Then kneels his front legs for her to climb up. Overcome with emotion she's frozen in place but he nudges her for attention, staring at her.

"You're right Ah-Un, we have to go." She finally boarded his back and flew off toward Kaede village.
