A-Un landed in the village while Rin drowned in sadness as though she never skipped a beat of him disappearing.

She hops off grabbing the berries from his mouth and pats his side for him to take off so the villagers won't discover him. Rin paces herself toward Kaede's home, sadden. Kaede hears her arrival and rushes forward snatching the berries and barely sprinting back inside. Rin's knees are weak, staring off into the open air.

Kaede gives the berries to the man and notices Rin is still standing outside lost in her gaze. Kaede approached her cautiously.

"Is everything alright Rin?" She asked in a gentle tone.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Rin broke her silence.

"Tell you what?" Kaede wondered.

"About Se- Sesshomaru." Rin hesitated.

Kaede's heart sank to her stomach.

"It's okay Rin, just stay calm." Kaede tried to handle her carefully.

"I'm not upset, just confused. Not sure how I should feel right now. Thirteen years? Thirteen years I forgot and now I remember. How cruel life has treated me."

"Rin?" Kaede has no words to reach out to her.

"I need some space." Rin left her standing outside alone.

Sesshomaru decides to take Mimisenri advice and terrorize the lands. He is ruthlessly slathering demons who didn't obey, using their bones for material, and forcing the taller demons to use the material by building his empire.

Jaken looked terrified of his destruction and made sure he kept his distance. But it soon didn't last long when Jaken could smell the thick demon blood in the air. He covers his nose to keep from being nauseated. His ears are filled with demon screams from the east of the forest which sounded like a demon child.

He rushed toward the direction of the scream and arrived to witness Sesshomaru trying to slather a demon girl. Jaken found the courage to put a halt to Lord Sesshomaru.

"Me Lord, you have to stop this."

Sesshomaru gives him a deadly stare. "As soon as I deal with this demon, you're next Jaken."

Jaken trembles with fear but stands in between him and the demon child. "Think about what you're doing, me lord, she's innocent!"

Sesshomaru pretends to swing at Jaken and he flinches, realizing nothing is happening. Sesshomaru eye-dagger at the demon child and she runs off weeping. Sesshomaru takes a deep breath and sheaths his Tenseiga.

"Tell me Jaken, did you plan to betray me?"

Jaken quickly examines Sesshomaru who is covered in demon blood. He then searches for the demon child.

"I let her go."

Jaken bowed to Sesshomaru "I will never betray you, me lord," He exclaimed.

"Very well let's go."

"Me Lord has lost his mind," Jaken mumbled. Sesshomaru corner-eye Jaken and he quickly covered his mouth.

"I didn't say anything, lord, I promise." He puffs out when Sesshomaru walks away.

Rin sits by the river throwing rocks. Kaede struggles to sit next to her.

"I'm sorry I should have told you but I didn't want to cause you pain," Kaede confessed.

"It's not your fault, it was just a freak accident," Rin murmurs.

"Are you going to search for him?" Kaede wondered.

"I already found him. He jogged my memory back."

"What do you mean?"

"On the hunt for the berries I ran into a pack of wolves and he saved me."

"Oh." Kaede's eyes widened.

"He looked at me as though it was the first time he saw my face. I don't think he knew who I was."

"Hmm, I see."

"Sesshomaru served his purpose and that was to keep me alive. Anyway, it's time to move past this. Holding on to something that doesn't want to be held on to is childish. It's time to move on."
