I'mmmmm bbbaaaccckkkkk! Please enjoy this next installment of this so called story.
Fenrir and Remus sat in a cell in the Ministry of Magic, a 'rogue' werewolf and his beta, the best prize the Ministry could get. They were waiting for their trail which would most likely end with them spending life in Azkaban or the Dementor's Kiss, it didn't really matter they were both a death sentence.
"Where are the pups?" Fenrir finally asked, when he was sure they were alone.
"I sent them to the safe spot just before the aurors got there. They got out of the cave."
"Do you have your wand?"
Remus shook his head, "I put it in Draco's bag. I figured that it would get taken and snapped and I wouldn't have it either way. You?"
"I didn't have it on me when I got caught"
"So what are we going to do?"
Fenrir leaned his head against the wall, "I don't think there is anything we can do but hope that they keep us here until the next full moon and see we're not the rogue wolf. They didn't recognize me when they brought us here and we're both registered. We haven't done anything so technically they can't keep us here."
"We can't leave the pups alone for a full month," Remus said jumping up, he started pacing.
"I don't think we have much of a choice. You gave them the bag with the food, right" Remus nodded, "it's the middle of the summer and for better or for worse they, Draco and Harry at least, mistrust human adults muggle or wizard. They should be fine especially if they stay near the safe spot."
Remus took a deep breath, "There really is nothing we can do. Draco's in charge and he's pretty smart, Harry, at the very least will follow him to the ends of the earth, and Hermione will help with anything Draco doesn't understand."
Fenrir beckoned Remus over, "You just need to relax. We have to focus on ourselves for the moment. There's nothing we can do for them right now and we'll never be able to do anything for them again if we end up in Azkaban"
Remus leaned into Fenrir, "Focus on us," he repeated, "it'll be better in the long run, if we can get through this"
Draco, Harry, and Hermione, after they reached the safe spot, climbed into a tree. Draco made sure to hook the backpack onto some tree branches.
As the sun was starting to set Harry spoke up, "When is Fenrir and Remus going to get here?"
"They'll be here soon," Hermione answered, "Remus had to finish packing and Fenrir had to get rid of the aurors."
"I hope they get here soon, I'm cold"
Draco pulled Harry into a hug, Harry snuggled into him, as the sun set the all got comfortable and went to sleep.
Harry woke up to water hitting his face, he sat up, it was raining. It wasn't raining hard, he could easily ignore it. That is until lightning flashed across the sky, the thunder that followed waking both Draco and Hermione.
"We have to get out of this rain," Draco said grabbing the backpack.
Draco followed Harry and Hermione down the tree. Once they reached the ground, Draco had Harry lead the way with him in the back. Eventually they found some trees leaning against each other, that they could crawl under. The three curled into each other and tried their best to stay warm and dry.
"Guys," Harry asked as they were eating their breakfast, "is Remus and Fenrir gonna be here soon?"
"They should be," Draco answered.
"If their not," Hermione continued, "we have to find somewhere warm to stay"
"But, we're supposed to stay here," Harry protested.
"We can't stay outside," Hermione explained shaking her head, "if it rains again we could get sick"
"No, we have to stay here so Fen-" Draco paused mid sentence as they heard a twig snap somewhere in the trees.
All three of them froze looking in the direction the sound came from. Draco slowly got up, handing the backpack to Hermione. Hermione grabbed Harry's hand and quietly and quickly as possible made their way into out of the clearing they were in, standing just on the border of the forest. Draco stood still waiting for whatever made the noise to come into the clearing, ready to distract them if it was an auror. Time seemed to stand still as they waited for the unknown being to come into the clearing. All three of them breathed a sigh of relief as a deer walked into the clearing. Draco waited a few minutes to make sure that there wasn't anything else before he walked back over to Hermione and Harry.
"Maybe you're right," Draco said, "We can't stay here it's too in the open"
Hermione puffed up a little, having been proven right. "I don't think we're too far from the park you guys found me in. We can go there then ride a bus somewhere"
Hermione set of in the lead, Harry's hand still in hers, Draco in the back.
A little into their walk, Harry spoke up, "Fenrir and Remus are coming back right?"
"Yes," Hermione and Draco looked at each other having spoken at the same time.
"When?"
"We have to wait for the next full moon," Hermione answered, "Remus told me they have to keep them until they now for sure that their werewolves"
"When's the next full moon?"
"Next week, Monday" Draco answered.
"What are we going to do until then?" Harry asked.
"Find a place to stay," Herimone said, "I know a couple places we can stay for a day or two".
Hermione dug her shoes out of the backpack before handing it to Draco. "The sooner you two can get dress the quicker we can get to somewhere safe".
Harry looked over at Draco, who shrugged his shoulders, "Get dressed," he same shoving a shirt over to Harry
