::Chapter 7: Confessions of the Heart::

(Two Hours Later)

"Are you sure you're going to be alright?" Yumiko worriedly asked, watching Usagi nod her head as she opened the car door. Reaching behind the passenger seat, he lifted her bag watching her smile her thanks as she took the bag, placing it onto her shoulder.

"Yes, thank you for bringing me home." Usagi softly stated, tearfully smiling at her friend.

"You want to do something tomorrow? Take your mind off things?" Yumiko offered, watching her silently shake her head.

"No, I'm just going to stay in tomorrow. I'm sure Haruka-chan and Michiru-chan are going to be angry when they find the note." Usagi said with a frown and a slight shrug of her shoulder.

Knowing not to press the issue any further, Yumiko nodded his head, giving his friend one final smile of encouragement. "I know tonight didn't go as planned." He began watching fresh tears begin to shine in her eyes once more. "He's a damn fool for doing what he did, Usagi-chan, he doesn't deserve you." He insisted, watching her tearfully nod a few stray tears streaking her cheeks. "Get some rest, my friend. I'll be by in the morning to check up on you, goodnight."

"Goodnight, Yumiko-chan." Usagi softly stated, shutting the car door as she silently turned to enter the apartment complex, her heart still broken from the silent rejection Seiya had given her. 'I'm such a fool.' She thought, allowing her tears to fall since she was alone.

Watching his friend enter the building, Yumiko glanced up at the building sensing the energy of the Kinmoku Guardian inside. "You've given her a reason for leaving, you stupid fool. She's beginning to doubt her reasons for staying here." He muttered, shaking his head in amusement before he drove away.

Stepping out of the elevator as the doors opened, Usagi tearfully exhaled, wiping the few stray tears from her cheeks. "It's better this way." She tried to convince herself. 'I'll just leave with Yum- Apollo-chan and begin a new future in the Celestial Realm.' She thought, as she reached into her pocket and removed her apartment key.

Opening the door, she tossed her bag onto the floor a soft sigh escaping her lips as she kicked her shoes off. Noticing the change in temperature in the apartment, she immediately walked into the kitchen to see the balcony door wide open. 'Someone's here.' She thought with panic, immediately suspecting the enemy. Reaching for her brooch, she turned and felt a startled scream escape her lips as she crashed into someone.

"Odango, it's just me." Seiya assured the blonde, resting his hands against her shoulders, preventing her from fleeing as he eased her from her sudden fright. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." He apologized, feeling guilty for startling her.

"You baka!" Usagi shouted, pushing him away from her. "You nearly gave me a heart attack!"

"I'm sure you gave the neighbors one too." Seiya chuckled, his amused smile dropping when she glared at him in response to the comment. "I'm sorry." He stated, nervously clearing his throat.

"What are you doing here? How did you get here before me?" Usagi demanded, confused by Seiya's arrival.

"I cheated." Seiya stated, a smug smile spreading across his lips as he removed his brooch from his pocket. "One of the perks of being a Guardian of Starlight, I can travel as fast as a shooting star." He explained, watching the blonde look at him in awe.

"Really?" Usagi asked in awe. "That's incredible! The only thing we can do is a Sailor Teleport, well, I can travel alone, but I have to rely on the power of the ginzuishou. It's just easier if we combine our power and travel as a group, less strain on the ginzuishou, doesn't tire me out as badly." She explained, not realizing she was rambling as Seiya smiled in amusement allowing her to sort out what she was trying to explain to him.

"Odango." Seiya softly stated, sliding his hands from her shoulders as he nervously trailed them down her arms. Feeling her tense slightly under the intimate touch, he smiled as he felt her ease under his touch, a blush staining her cheeks. "I'm sorry for being such a baka, I came here to apologize for my-"

"You don't have to apologize." Usagi interrupted, tears shining in her eyes once more as she forced herself to leave his warm touch. Not seeing the hurt in his gaze from her action, she looked down at the engagement ring on her finger as she silently slid it off. "I'm ending my engagement with Mamo-chan. I messaged him on the way here telling him I needed to speak with him." She stated while slipping the ring into her pocket. "I don't want to marry him anymore, I-"

"I love you, Odango." Seiya interrupted her, pressing his lips against hers before she could say anything else. Forcing his fears and self-doubts down as he boldly wrapped his arm around her waist, he drew her closer against him, their bodies molded against one another.

Feeling no resistance to his kiss or hold, Seiya felt his heart soar as Usagi wrapped her arms around his neck, drawing him closer as she poured her own emotions into the kiss. "I love you." He murmured as their lips soon parted, their breaths bated due to their lungs unable to be pushed any longer.

"I love you too." Usagi softly stated, a shy smile spreading across her lips as she looked into his deep blue eyes seeing the love he held for her.

Resting his forehead against hers, Seiya gently brushed his lips against hers once more. "Do you know how long I've wanted to kiss you?" He softly stated, as their lips parted. Watching her smile at the question, he felt her lips press against his lips in a soft, chaste kiss.

"Now you can kiss me as much as you want." Usagi responded, smiling as their lips parted. "I love you, Seiya-chan." She professed happily smiling up at him. Resting her head against his chest, she closed her eyes, smiling at the sound of his soothing heartbeat.

"When can we tell your Guardians?" Seiya asked, looking forward to Haruka's reaction when he would stand up to the volatile Guardian and tell her that he wasn't going to back down from the relationship.

"I need to talk with Mamoru-chan first." Usagi softly stated, a nervous sigh escaping her lips. "He may already be asleep, I'll try to call him in the morning since he didn't respond to my texts."

Lacing his fingers with hers, Seiya smiled as he led her towards the living room. Sitting down on the couch, he kept their hands laced together as they looked into one another's gazes. "Are you sure you want to be with me?" He asked, his doubts still present in his mind. "Why me Odango?"

"You've seen me for who I am in this life, you don't see me as a Princess. You see me as Tsukino Usagi and Sailor Moon." Usagi began as tears shone in her eyes. "Mamo-chan and I, we fought and argued all the time before we gained our memories from the Silver Millenium. We...well, our relationship was complicated, we tolerated each other at first, always arguing and trying to get the last quip in." She said smiling at the memory of their childish behavior. "I sometimes wonder if the only reason we became a couple was because of a sense of duty like we had to finish what Princess Serenity-sama and Prince Endymion-sama didn't get to finish." She said sadly lowering her gaze.

"Wait, you're a reincarnated Princess?" Seiya asked in awe. "I thought you-"

"Yes, it's a long story." Usagi interrupted with a sad smile. "The Kingdom I once lived on no longer exists, it hasn't for thousands of years." She said looking up into his shocked gaze. "Most of my past memories are still sealed away, I'm limited on what I remember. Only Serenity-sama has full access to those memories and I don't think I will gain those until it's time for her to awaken." She explained with a soft exhale.

"You don't want that to happen?" Seiya asked, seeing the brief fear in her gaze.

"I don't want to lose who I am here, who I am now." Usagi softly stated, a tear streaking her cheek. "I don't want to be a Queen, I don't want to rule over a kingdom. I just want to be Tsukino Usagi, I want to get a job and support myself. I want to live a normal, well as normal of a life as I can, since I still have to fight as a Sailor Guardian." She stated in mirth. "I want to protect this planet as Sailor Moon, not as a monarch."

"Do your Guardians know you feel this way?" Seiya asked, awed by her confession.

"No." Usagi softly stated. "I've tried in the past, but they brush it off and tell me it's just my nerves. That it's my destiny, that everything will fall into place when it happens." She said a stray tear streaking her cheek. "I've messed up so much." She said raising her free hand and brushing away the few stray tears that managed to escape. "They're going to hate me for this."

"You don't know that." Seiya urged, leaning in and brushing his lips against hers. "I'll be whatever you need me to be, Odango." He said, watching her look at him in surprise. "If you need me to rule beside you, I will. I will be-"

Pressing her lips against Seiya's, Usagi wrapped her arms around his neck, feeling him usher her closer. Blushing when she found herself straddling his lap, she felt his arms circle around her waist securing her onto his lap. Feeling a soft moan escape her lips as the passion only grew with their kisses, she could something within her stirring, a strong desire she'd never felt before. "Sei…" She moaned out as he abandoned her lips, trailing hot kisses down her neck and stopping to focus on the groove of her neck just above her collar bone.

"Oh god…" Usagi gasped, her body burning with desire, wanting more. 'Mamoru-chan has never made me feel like this.' She thought, unable to control her body's urges and reactions to the gentle nips and brushes of his tongue against her flesh.

"Usa…" Seiya softly stated, unable to stop the urges and desires of wanting more. Fueled by her soft mewls and gasps of pleasure, he heard her gasp of surprise as he lowered them back onto the couch. Looking into her eyes, he could see the burning desire shining brightly in her gaze. "I can't control myself with you." He stated, a smile spreading across his lips.

"Then don't." Usagi stated, wrapping her arms around his neck and ushering his lips to hers once more. "We have nothing to hide, I've chosen who I want to be with." She assured him as their lips parted. "I love you Seiya, I only regret it took me this long to admit it."

"We're together now, Odango." Seiya responded, a smile spreading across his lips unable to hide his happiness as he caressed her cheek. "I'm not going anywhere, not unless you tell me to." He promised, watching tears shine in her eyes. "I love you so much, Usa. You don't know how happy you've made me."

"I love you too, Sei." Usagi answered, her eyes closing as their lips tenderly brushed. "I'm not afraid of where this path leads us, as long as I know you'll be there."

"I'll always be here for you." Seiya promised, their lips brushing once more.

(Later That Night)

"Come on, don't be so nervous Odango." Seiya chuckled, watching Usagi nervously chew on her bottom lip as she contemplated her decision.

"I'm so nervous." Usagi muttered as she slipped her jacket back on.

"Don't be, I won't drop you, I promise." Seiya teased, watching in amusement as she abruptly looked at him startled by his comment.

"Who said anything about you dropping me?" Usagi demanded, growing more nervous at the thought of her hurtling down from the sky. "You go back, I'll just stay here and take the tongue lashing in the morning from Haruka-chan and Michiru-chan." She muttered as she started to remove her jacket.

"Odango." Seiya responded with an amused chuckle at how nervous his girlfriend was acting. "Come here." He chuckled, wrapping his arm around her waist stopping her midstep before she could retreat from the kitchen. Resting his chin against her shoulder, he nuzzled his nose against her cheek, his lips close to her ear as he gently spoke. "Transform, Odango." He instructed, smiling as she turned her head, their gazes locking. "Do you not trust me?" He asked, his amused smile faltering for a moment with worry.

"Of course I trust you." Usagi assured him, resting her hand against his cheek as she could see the uncertainty in his eyes. Watching him smile at her reassurance, she closed her eyes as he tenderly brushed his lips against hers. "We need to go back, it's going to be morning soon." She reminded him as their lips parted. "Unless you can travel by sunlight." She teased, hearing him chuckle at the comment.

"I can, it's just easier when it's night, we can blend in amongst the night sky." Seiya explained, watching Usagi smile at his comment.

"Gives the appearance of a shooting star." Usagi stated, watching Seiya smile and nod his head.

"Exactly." Seiya smiled, drawing her closer against him. "Let's get going." He ushered, watching her nod as she removed her brooch from her. Removing his brooch as well, they both raised their brooches calling out their transformations.

"Moon Eternal Make-Up!"

"Fighter Star Power Make-Up!"

Stepping out onto the balcony, Eternal Sailor Moon looked up at the night sky, the half-moon shining brightly in the night sky. 'I'm sorry mother, I need to take control of my future and start deciding what I want.' She sadly thought, hoping the fallen Queen was not angry with her choice to choose Seiya over Mamoru. 'I'm not Serenity-sama in this life, it's time for Tsukino Usagi to choose what makes her happy.' Blushing when she felt Sailor Star Fighter lace her fingers with hers, Sailor Moon smiled as she met the Starlight's gaze.

"Does this form bother you?" Sailor Star Fighter nervously asked, noticing Sailor Moon had blushed when she laced her fingers through hers.

"No, why would this bother me?" Sailor Moon responded, giving Sailor Star Fighter's hand a gentle squeeze. "I know it's still you in whichever form you're in." She responded, watching Sailor Star Fighter happily smile at her response. "I can't promise I won't blush." She muttered, blushing more when Sailor Star Fighter gently laughed at the comment.

"We'll take it slow when I'm in this form." Sailor Star Fighter assured her partner, kissing the back of Sailor Moon's gloved hand. "Who knows perhaps you may prefer this form." She teased, laughing when Sailor Moon turned a brighter shade of red.

"Let's just go." Sailor Moon groaned, her stomach nervously fluttering as Sailor Star Fighter wrapped her arm around her waist drawing her closer against her.

"Hang on tight." Sailor Star Fighter instructed, her cheeks growing warm, stomach nervously fluttering as Eternal Sailor Moon wrapped her arms around her neck, their bodies pressed closely against one another. Closing her eyes, she focused on her power drawing in the celestial powers of the night sky as her body began to glow with the power needed to transport her and Sailor Moon.

Closing her eyes to the warmth of Sailor Star Fighter's power, Eternal Sailor Moon gasped as she felt herself suddenly lifted from the apartment's balcony. Tightening her hold on Sailor Star Fighter, she kept her eyes tightly shut afraid to open them.

Gracefully landing onto the boat dock, Sailor Star Fighter smiled in amusement at how tightly Sailor Moon was clinging to her. "Odango." She gently stated, closing her eyes as she allowed her transformation to fade.

"We're back." Seiya softly murmured into her ear, smiling with amusement as Eternal Sailor Moon peeked an eye open to confirm before slowly lowering her arms from around his neck. Already missing the closeness of their bodies pressed against one another, he watched her look around in awe before she excitedly spoke.

"That was INCREDIBLE!" Sailor Moon excitedly burst out, looking up at the late-night sky with a large smile spread across her lips. "I wish we could travel at such speeds." She said with a hint of envy, before abruptly looking over at him in worry. "Are you alright, Seiya-chan? You didn't overexert yourself teleporting me as well, did you?"

"No, I'm alright." Seiya chuckled, touched by her worry and concern. "We should go to bed though, we're both going to be exhausted tomorrow and I'm sure Haruka-san and Michiru-san will notice." He stated in amusement, watching her close her eyes, her sailor fuku fading and forming back to her outfit.

"It doesn't matter if they do or not." Usagi tiredly stated a yawn escaping her lips as she adjusted her bag onto her shoulder. "They won't know why, they'll just think we stayed up too late with the campfire." She stated, then gasped as her eyes widened. "Damn, I need to get the note." She cursed, as she quickly took off running towards the cabin, hoping neither women had woken and found the note she'd taped onto their bedroom door.

"Odango, wait!" Seiya called out, not expecting her sudden departure as she ran towards the cabin at full speed. "Damn, she's fast." He muttered as he ran from the dock, hoping to catch up to the blonde whirlwind.

Carefully peeling the note from the bedroom door Michiru and Haruka were staying in, Usagi softly exhaled in relief before she quietly turned and walked towards the stairs where Seiya was waiting for her. Ascending the stairs with him, she smiled as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder as they walked in comfortable silence.

"I enjoyed our time alone." Seiya quietly stated, looking over at his girlfriend with a smile. 'I learned so much about her tonight.' He happily thought, the couple spending the majority of the night talking and learning more of one another's past prior to the Starlight's first arrival on Earth when they had fled from Sailor Galaxia's invasion of Kinmoku three years prior. 'She's been through so much, all those past conflicts are what shaped her into who she is today.' He thought, honored that she'd chosen him over her past love. 'I love her so much, I want to spend the rest of my life with her.' He thought, snapping from his thoughts when he heard Usagi quietly speak.

"What is it?" Usagi worriedly asked, noticing how deep in thought Seiya had become. "Is something wrong?"

"No, I was just thinking." Seiya softly responded, smiling over at her before turning his gaze forwards.

"About...?" Usagi prompted, growing more curious when he chuckled.

"Us, how happy I am that we're together." Seiya answered, pausing his steps as he took her hands into his. Planting a gentle kiss on the back of her hand, he felt his heart swell as she stepped in closer pressing her lips gently against his.

"I'm happy I have you too." Usagi stated as soon as their lips parted. "Come on, we need to get some rest." She ushered, keeping their hands laced together as they continued to ascend the stairs. Walking down the hall, she paused her steps as she reached his door, which was conveniently next door to hers. "I'll see you in the morning."

"Goodnight, Odango." Seiya responded, pressing his lips against hers. Feeling her wrap her arms around his neck, he slid his arms around her slim waist drawing her closer against him as the kiss blossomed with sheer passion. No longer able to ignore the burning sensation in his lungs he reluctantly parted their lips, both out of breath. "Sorry." He chuckled, his cheeks stained pink. "I can't seem to control myself with you." He apologized.

"Don't apologize." Usagi insisted, smiling up at him as she rested her hand against his chest. "I enjoy your kisses." She admitted, blushing at the confession. Feeling his hand rest over hers, she smiled before resting one final kiss against his lips. "I love you."

"Not as much as I love you." Seiya responded, a grin spreading across his lips. Opening his bedroom door, he stood in the doorway watching her walk to her door. Smiling as she smiled over at him once more he quietly entered his room shortly after she slipped into her room for the night. 'Please, please don't let this be a dream.' He desperately thought before going to his room.

(The Following Morning)

Sighing in frustration as she heard the prompt of the voicemail, Usagi could feel her nerves becoming more frayed with each unanswered call and text. "Mamoru-chan, it's me again. It's really important that I speak with you, we need to talk. Please call me back as soon as you get this message." Ending the call, she nervously exhaled, her gaze looking down at her bare ring finger. Shakily exhaling, she blinked back her tears that were threatening to spill. Jumping when Yaten rested his hand against her arm, she looked over to him to see him give her a smile of reassurance. "They're all going to hate me for this." She softly stated, lowering her gaze with shame.

"They'll forgive you in time." Yaten responded, turning his gaze forward and looking out at the peaceful stretch of trees that surrounded them. "This is your life, Usagi-chan, not theirs. You need to do what makes you happy." He insisted, smiling as he gently bumped his shoulder against hers. "You're stuck with us now." He teased, trying to get her to smile. "That means I don't have to be nice anymore."

"You were being nice before?" Usagi balked, gently laughing when Yaten scowled at her comment. Turning at the sound of the door opening, she watched Haruka silently walk past them, carrying the last of her and Michiru's things. Softly exhaling as Haruka placed the bags into the car, she averted her gaze as Haruka roughly pulled the door shut upon getting into the car.

"Usagi-chan, we're leaving. Will you please return these to the office before you leave? You need to be checked out before noon." Michiru instructed, handing her friend the keys to the cabin.

"Of course." Usagi said, watching Michiru smile her thanks, then walk towards the steps. "Michiru-chan, wait, please. I- I'm sor-"

"Don't apologize, Usagi-chan." Michiru abruptly interrupted her friend, refusing to turn and look at her Princess. "Give her some time, alright? Ruka-chan will be over it in a few days, she won't stay angry for very long." She assured her friend and Princess, knowing her partner had a soft spot for their Princess, not able to stay angry with her for very long. "Please." She insisted, turning and looking at her friend. "Please stay out of trouble, we're going to give you some space until Haruka-chan is completely over this." She urged.

"I'll be careful." Usagi promised, watching Michiru smile then nod her head.

"That's all that we ask, Usagi-chan." Michiru responded, before quietly walking forwards once more towards the car where Haruka was awaiting her.

Watching the car soon reverse from the gravel driveway, Usagi groaned out in frustration tucking her knees against her chest as she buried her face against her knees. "I seriously messed up, I have two of my strongest Guardians furious with me." She bemoaned, wishing she'd not pushed Haruka the way she had. "I'm sure Hotaru-chan and Setsuna-chan will be mad at me next after they find out what I said to Haruka-chan. I shouldn't have insisted for Yumiko-chan to come over, I should have known this would backfire on me somehow." She miserably muttered, speaking her thoughts aloud.

"At least they'll already be mad at you." Yaten quipped, mischievously smiling as he spoke. "Now when they find out about you and Seiya-chan, you won't have to worry about them getting angry. They're already furious, so it's a win-win." He responded, chuckling when hearing her groan out in dismay at the comment.

"You're not helping Yaten-chan." Usagi whined, glaring over at the silver-haired man when he smiled and chuckled as he patted her shoulder with encouragement.

"I know, just pointing out the facts for you." Yaten responded with mirth, chuckling more as Usagi huffed in frustration. "Well, I need to go pack my things. Do you need me to stay while you wallow in your self-pity? I can sit with-"

"No, go ahead." Usagi interrupted, lifting her head to smile over at her friend. "Thanks for sitting with me, I appreciate it."

"No problem, I'll let Taiki-chan know we're leaving soon." Yaten responded, smiling over at his friend as he stood from the porch swing, making his way back into the house.

Looking back down at her phone once more, Usagi nervously exhaled as she contemplated trying to call Mamoru once more. "I'll try again later." She stated, standing as well knowing she needed to gather Kikyo's things and make sure the cabin was clean before their departure. 'Other than the drama, this was fun. I want to come back again during Spring Break.' She thought with excitement, hoping by then the others would be able to come home long enough to spend some time together. 'I miss them all so much.' She sadly thought, tears shining in her eyes as she thought of Minako, Ami, and Makoto who were studying abroad. 'At least I still have Rei-chan here with me.' She gratefully thought happy her fiery friend was still in Tokyo with her.

Walking down the stairs, Seiya smiled as he turned the corner only to stop as Kikyo happily embraced his leg as she ran from the kitchen. "There you are, I was looking for you. Are you hungry Kikyo-sama?" He asked, lifting her into his arms.

"Drink." Kikyo stated, pointing to the empty sippy cup on the floor.

"Alright, let's get you something to drink." Seiya chuckled, walking to the discarded cup and lifting it from the floor before continuing in the direction of the kitchen. Opening the fridge door, he lifted the carton pouring some apple juice into the small pink sippy cup. Placing the cup in the toddler's hands, he watched her eagerly snatch it before turning and running out of the room. "You're welcome." He called out, shaking his head in amusement at the child's swift departure. "She's such a brat." He muttered with mirth, turning his head when hearing Usagi calling out to his Princess.

"Kikyo-chan?" Usagi called out from the other room. "Where did you go? I thought you needed juice?"

"She just ran out of the kitchen, Odango. She stopped me on my way downstairs, so I've already filled her cup with more juice." Seiya called back, placing the juice back into the fridge. Closing the fridge door, he quietly exited the kitchen raising his brow in curiosity when Usagi dropped both her bag and Kikyo's bag by the door. "Are we leaving already?" He asked in surprise, having only been awake for a short time.

"Yes, Haruka-chan cut the trip short. They've already left, so we need to be out of here by noon or we'll be charged another day." Usagi explained, watching Seiya nod his head as he made his way towards the stairs once again. Turning her attention back towards the bags to double-check everything was packed, she gasped in surprise as Seiya's arm slid around her waist. Turning her head, she closed her eyes as his lips pressed against hers for a brief, tender kiss.

"I didn't get my morning kiss." Seiya teased, as their lips parted, chuckling at her blush before turning and walking towards the stairs once more. "I'll tell the others to start gathering their things, as well." He called over his shoulder watching the blonde smile and nod in acknowledgment.

"Alright." Usagi softly stated, still dazed by the passionate kiss. 'Now that was a morning kiss.' She thought, a smile spreading across her lips as she turned and put her focus on the bags once more. Glancing over her shoulder, she watched Seiya ascend the stairs, smiling more at the thought of the kiss she raised her gently brushing her fingers against her lips. 'I've never felt like this with Mamoru-chan.' She thought with a sudden realization, knowing something more stirred within her when she was in Seiya's embrace or when they kissed. 'Yumiko-chan is right, this is my life. I want to start making my own choices, I want to decide what is going to be best for me and my future.' She thought, happily smiling.

(Later That Afternoon)

"What about these?" Taiki asked while scrolling down the website on Usagi's laptop. "There's a two-bedroom and a three-bedroom available for rent."

"How far is it from here?" Yaten asked, patiently waiting for Taiki to scroll down the screen for the address.

"It's going to be…" Taiki trailed off entering the address into a mapping program, awaiting the results of how much distance would be placed between their Princess and Usagi-chan. "It's almost twenty minutes away by bus." He responded, frowning slightly at how far the distance would be.

"We agreed we were going to be close to Odango since Kikyo-sama is so attached to her." Seiya urged, glancing towards the living room where Usagi was sitting on the floor with Kikyo. Smiling at how their Princess was nestled safely in his girlfriend's lap, he noticed the two Princesses were riveted by the movie, their focus solely on the television oblivious to the conversation they were having in the kitchen. Gently chuckling, he shook his head before turning his gaze forward as Yaten and Taiki were still quietly discussing the apartment's location.

Glancing towards the balcony door, he frowned when he noticed the skies were growing darker in the distance, the signs of lightning flashing in the distance. 'Looks like we left the cabin at a good time.' He thought, grateful to avoid the storms that were coming in.

"We may not have a choice." Taiki grumbled, tired of Yaten and Seiya both scolding him about the location of the available apartments he'd found. "There's not very many apartments close by that have available units at this time." He explained, watching Yaten frown as he silently nodded, then abruptly looked up at a sudden thought.

"What about here?" Yaten suggested. "Have you looked on the website?" He inquired, then frowned as his brother silently nodded before he spoke.

"Yes, it was the first one I checked." Taiki retorted, softly sighing as he glanced over at Kikyo knowing it was going to break the child's heart when they separated her from Usagi. "Perhaps we could speak with the manager personally." He suggested, looking over at Yaten. "They may have something coming up, but it's not listed yet."

"We'll go down and speak with him." Yaten said, nudging Seiya with his elbow sighing in annoyance when his brother gave him a confused look, clueless to what they had just been discussing. "Let's go."

"Where are we going?" Seiya asked in confusion, wishing he had been listening better to the conversation his brothers were having.

"We're going to go see if they have any available units here." Yaten snapped, with a look of annoyance. "Were you not listening?" He scolded, growing more irritated when his brother sheepishly smiled in response. "Come on, baka." He muttered, motioning his brother to follow as they left the apartment.

"Any luck Taiki-chan?" Usagi curiously asked, walking into the kitchen carrying Kikyo's empty sippy cup. Walking to the fridge, she opened the door and proceeded to take out the milk, turning her head as Taiki spoke.

"Nothing yet." Taiki responded, sighing out in frustration. "There's not very many selections available in the area at this time."

"Where did Seiya-chan and Yaten-chan go?" Usagi responded, noticing the two were no longer sitting at the table. "I didn't even hear them leave." She muttered, not realizing how tuned in she'd been in watching the movie with Kikyo.

"Usa-chan, drink!" Kikyo shouted from the living room. "Drink!"

Gently laughing, Usagi turned her attention back to her task. "I'm getting it, Kikyo-chan." She called back to the impatient toddler. Hearing Taiki gently chuckle at the child's antics, she lifted the carton of milk filling the cup once more as Taiki spoke.

"They went to see if there was anything available here." Taiki explained, watching his friend quietly nod her head. Noticing her nervously fidgeting with the sippy cup she was holding, he smiled before speaking. "Do you have any suggestions?" He asked, watching her place the milk back into the fridge before quietly walking towards the table.

"I know you guys said that you have the money from your time here as idols. But it's going to deplete fast if you get your own place." Usagi began as she rested the cup on the table, her stature still nervous as she continued to speak. "You'll have to pay the deposits for the apartment, the utilities being turned on, then you'll need to furnish the place." She explained, watching Taiki silently nod as he listened to her. "By the time you have all the amenities, you're probably not going to have much money left."

"I've thought of that myself." Taiki agreed, then softly sighed. "But we need to leave and get out of your way, Usagi-chan. We can't keep troubling you, we're not your burden to keep."

"You're not a burden, Taiki-chan, I don't understand why you have to leave." Usagi insisted, watching Taiki look at her in surprise. "You three can live here as long as you want, we just need to get a second bed for the spare bedroom, so you and Yaten-chan can share a room." She suggested. "We can set up an area in the living room for Kikyo-chan." She said turning and pointing to the area she'd been mapping out in her mind. "I can lay on the couch until she falls asleep every night if I need to. I don't mind staying up with her, it's my fault, I've spoiled her and allowed her to sleep in my bed with me." She said, noticing Taiki smirk before speaking.

"What about Seiya-chan?" Taiki asked, smiling as he watched the blonde blush.

"He can stay in my room." Usagi responded, feeling her cheeks flush more with embarrassment. "We're adults and we're a couple now, it's not any different than if we were to move in with one another." She explained, watching Taiki sit and ponder over her suggestions for a moment.

"You're sure this will not be an inconvenience?" Taiki asked, watching Usagi smile more at his comment as she happily spoke.

"Of course not, I've enjoyed having you four here." Usagi happily responded, excited that Taiki was considering her offer.

"As long as you're sure this arrangement will not be an inconvenience, then yes, we will accept your offer and stay." Taiki stated, blushing when Usagi excitedly squealed before rushing around the table to happily embrace him in her excitement.

"I'm so excited, I officially have roommates." Usagi beamed with excitement, as she happily went back to the living room. "Kikyo-chan, I have your drink." She happily stated, smiling as the toddler greedily took the cup.

Chuckling at his friend's excitement, Taiki turned his head as the door opened, his brothers walking into the apartment with a look of defeat. "No luck?" He asked, trying to keep his expression blank wanting to see their reaction to their new, permanent arrangement.

"No, they won't have an opening for another three months." Seiya grumbled, sitting at the table, a frustrated sigh escaping his lips. "There's nothing else closer?" He asked, looking at his brother with a look of desperation, not wanting to be too far from Usagi.

"No, I've decided it would be best to stay here with Usagi-chan." Taiki calmly replied, noticing Seiya abruptly look up at him.

"What?" Yaten asked, surprised by his brother's reply.

"Usagi-chan and I were talking while you two stepped out." Taiki began, looking forward to his brother's reactions to the potential living arrangements. "She made some really good points, and I agree with her. Our money isn't going to last long if we get our own place. It's going to deplete our funds fast." He explained while closing the laptop with a soft click. "For the time being, we'll get another bed for the spare room and-"

"I get the bed!" Yaten quickly interrupted, not allowing Seiya any chance to claim the spare room and the extra bed. "Seiya-chan will have the couch."

"The couch is fine with me Yaten-baka." Seiya responded indifferently, shrugging his shoulders at the sleeping arrangement. "I don't mind sleeping on the couch, I find it comfortable."

"Can I finish please?" Taiki snapped glaring at the two before an argument could begin. "As I was saying, we'll get a toddler bed for the Princess and set her up an area in the living room." He said, pausing a moment to hide back his smile, anticipating his brothers' reactions. "Yaten-chan and I will share the spare bedroom, so Yaten-chan will need to purchase a bed. Then finally, Usagi-chan and Seiya-chan will share a room." Watching Yaten's jaw immediately drop at the statement, he watched Seiya turn two shades of red as he abruptly glanced back at the blonde for confirmation.

"Only if you want, or you can have the couch." Usagi nonchalantly stated, refusing to turn and look at her boyfriend, her face also red with embarrassment. 'I can't believe I offered to share my bedroom with him.' She thought, blushing more at the idea of having Seiya sleeping next to her.

"That's fine." Seiya calmly responded, gently clearing his throat wishing his face would cease its blushing. "I guess we're shopping for beds then." He stated, wanting to change the subject as he glanced over at his Princess. "Kikyo-sama, would like to go shopping and pick out your bed?" He asked, watching the toddler briefly look up before turning her attention back to the movie she was watching with Usagi. "I guess not." He muttered, chuckling at the child's disinterest at the offered task.

"Well I'm ready, let's go." Yaten happily stated as he stood from where he was sitting at the table. "The sooner we buy it, the sooner it will be delivered." He eagerly stated, then glanced over at their friend before he spoke. "Usagi-chan would you like to accompany us?"

"No thank you, I'm going to stay here." Usagi responded, glancing down at her phone once more with frustration. "I need to try to call Mamoru-chan again." She explained, nervously exhaling as she stood and walked in the direction of the kitchen. "I don't understand why he's not answering my calls."

"You may have to leave another message." Seiya suggested, watching the blonde frown before silently nodding as she walked into the kitchen. Wrapping his arm around her waist, he ushered her forwards into his embrace, planting a gentle kiss against her lips before he spoke. "I'm not going anywhere, so don't worry." He assured the blonde, watching her smile up at his words. "Are you sure you don't want to go, you can help Kikyo-sama pick out her bed." He offered, watching Usagi glance back at Kikyo before turning her gaze back to him.

"I want to go, but I need to take care of this first." Usagi insisted, smiling as Seiya gently cupped her chin into the palm of his hand. Watching him leaning in, closing the space between them, she closed her eyes as his lips pressed softly against hers. 'I don't want this feeling to ever end.' She happily thought, the moment immediately ruined at Yaten's sudden scowl at their display.

"Ughh, alright enough of that!" Yaten snapped, rolling his eyes at the intimate moment. "I don't want to lose my lunch." He scolded, watching Seiya glare at him and Usagi blush in response to his comment. "We're just going to a furniture store, we'll be back. You act like we're leaving for good." He muttered, leaving the room to go get ready for their shopping trip.

"I'm going to go get ready." Seiya chuckled, shaking his head at his brother's mutters as he exited the kitchen. Missing the touch of her skin as he lowered his hand, he quietly stepped back from their embrace as he looked into her loving gaze. 'I'm never going to tire looking into those eyes.' He thought, planting a gentle kiss on the back of her hand before he turned and left the room.

"I'm going to get ready as well." Taiki stated as he glanced out the balcony door at the ominous gray skies. "Hopefully we'll miss the rain." He muttered.

"It's not supposed to rain until later this afternoon." Usagi assured her friend, frowning at the dark clouds in the distance. "I'll go get Kikyo-chan ready." She stated, turning and walking in the direction of the living room where the toddler was still happily watching her movie. "Kikyo-chan, let's go get your shoes and rain jacket on. You're going to go shopping for your big girl bed." She excitedly stated, watching the toddler happily stand and follow her in the direction of the bedroom.

"Go! Go! Go!" Kikyo excitedly exclaimed, happily following the blonde out of the living room.

(Later That Afternoon)

Looking down at her phone in frustration, Usagi softly exhaled as she tossed the device next to her on the couch.

::CRASH::

Jumping at the sound of the loud clap of thunder, Usagi drew in a deep breath before softly exhaling trying to ease her fear. 'It's just thunder.' She thought, trying to push aside her childish fears of thunder. Trying to focus her mind on something else other than the storm, she looked down at the phone in frustration once more, another sigh escaping her lips. 'I've called him three different times within the last two hours, each time I'm forwarded to voicemail.' She thought with frustration. "Why is he not answering my calls?" She muttered, crossing her arms across her chest in a huff as she pouted.

"Maybe he's busy." Yumiko stated, appearing next to his friend on the couch.

Screaming out in fright from the sudden arrival, Usagi glared at her friend as he burst out into laughter at her reaction. "What are you doing here?" She demanded. "Can you not use a door?" She scolded, her heart still hammering in her chest from the sudden fright.

"I was bored, so I'm visiting my friend, and yes I can use a door." Yumiko responded, smiling more in amusement at her demands. "I'm sorry, my friend, it wasn't my intention to frighten you, though it was funny." He apologized, laughing when Usagi glared at him once more.

"I'm not used to seeing you using your abilities." Usagi muttered, a smile spreading across her lips before she spoke. "Wait, you said you were bored?" She asked, giving him a sweet smile while watching him suspiciously look at her.

"I don't know if I want to answer this question now." Yumiko teased. "I'm probably not going to like the answer if I respond yes."

"Kikyo-chan and the others are going to be staying with me permanently now. They're shopping for beds right now, they should be back soon." Usagi explained watching Yumiko look at her with a brief look of surprise. "You want to help me move some stuff around to make room for Kikyo's bed?" She asked looking up at her friend with pleading eyes and a small pout. "Pleeease…"

"What kind of stuff are we talking about?" Yumiko asked, frowning when his friend pointed to a bookcase.

"I need to move that bookshelf onto that wall over there." Usagi said pointing to the area where the bookshelf would be moved. "I want to put her bed in this corner."

"I thought she was sleeping in your room?" Yumiko asked, then slyly smiled when his friend blushed at the innocent question. "Oh, I see." He chuckled, a smile spreading across his lips, leaning in closer to speak in a quiet hush in her ear as if he was telling her a secret. "Has a certain dark-haired Guardian perhaps found his way into your bed?" He teased, smiling as she abruptly turned her head away, her face bright red with embarrassment.

Chuckling at her reaction to the question, Yumiko smiled as he stood from the couch smiling in amusement before he spoke. "Yes my friend, I'll help you." He said teleporting to the bookshelf. Carefully removing pictures and books from the shelf, he turned his head to see his friend was still trying to recover from her embarrassment from his comment. "Well, come on." He chuckled, watching her stand and walk towards him.

"Mine!" Kikyo happily stated as she pointed back to Taiki who was carrying the large box containing her bed.

"Yes, Kikyo-sama." Seiya chuckled, smiling as he carried the toddler towards their apartment. Noticing his Princess point towards the small mattress Yaten was carrying, he patiently nodded his head, happy their Princess was excited about her bed. "We're going to assemble it together as soon as we get home." He promised, his heart melting at the happy smile that radiated from the toddler.

"I hope our new living arrangements won't cause more trouble between Usagi-chan and her Guardians?" Taiki worriedly commented with a soft exhale, knowing their friend was already dealing with Haruka being angry with her over Yumiko's visit to the lake.

"Wait until Haruka-san finds out Usagi is ending her relationship with Mamoru-san." Yaten responded with an amused chuckle, not noticing his brother tense at his comment. "She's going to be so furious, we may have to leave the planet just to avoid her wrath!" He playfully commented, laughing more with amusement.

"No, it will just be Seiya-chan who will have to flee." Taiki jibed in, laughing with his brother as they enjoyed giving their brother a hard time about his new relationship with Usagi.

"My Usa-chan, go!" Kikyo commanded, excitedly pointing towards the apartment when spotting the door. Wriggling to get out of Seiya's hold, she happily squealed as she was lowered to the floor, immediately sprinting forwards to the apartment door as she shouted. "My, Usa-chan! Bed!"

"Kikyo-sama, patience." Seiya commented as he watched their Princess struggle to reach the doorknob, a frustrated grunt escaping her lips when she failed to open the door. "Give me a moment, I'm getting it." He chuckled, adjusting the bags he'd been holding as he reached for Usagi's keys in his pocket, soon unlocking the door. Opening the door, he noticed Usagi laughing and talking with someone as they entered the apartment. "Odango, we're home." He called out, happily smiling at his words.

"Usa-chan, home!" Kikyo happily called out, mimicking Seiya's greeting. Watching Usagi and Yumiko step out of the living room, Kikyo happily smiled while running towards the two. "Yumi-chan!" She excitedly shouted. "Hold!"

"There's the little munchkin, how are you, Kikyo-chan?" Yumiko happily greeted as he lifted the child into his arms. "Your Usa-chan was telling me you're getting your very own bed. You're such a big girl now." He said, watching the girl turn and point as Taiki entered the apartment with the large box.

"Yumi-chan, bed!" Kikyo happily stated, a large smile spreading across her lips. "Mine, not yours."

"Yes, that's your bed isn't it?" Yumiko asked, chuckling at the child's words as she tried to tell him about her new bed.

"It's so cute!" Usagi excitedly stated upon seeing the picture of the bed on the side of the box. "Come on Kikyo-chan, you can help me make supper while they set up your bed." She instructed, holding her arms out as Kikyo happily went into her embrace. "Would you like to stay for dinner, Yumiko-chan?" She asked, not noticing Seiya grimace at the offer.

"Sure, I'd love to." Yumiko said, catching a glimpse of Seiya's reaction. 'This is going to be fun.' He thought with amusement, knowing how much he enjoyed making the Kinmoku Guardian jealous. "I'll watch Kikyo-chan while you cook." He suggested, gently resting his hand against his friend's lower back as they walked towards the kitchen.

"Seiya-san." Yaten calmly stated, noticing his brother's fists and jaw was clenched as soon as Yumiko rested his hand against Usagi's back. "Come on, we need to get this bed assembled for Kikyo-sama unless you prefer sleeping on the couch again." He instructed, watching his brother quietly walk over to assist Taiki in removing and organizing all the parts from the box. "Don't be so jealous, baka. He's just trying to get you to react." He quietly scolded, watching his brother sigh before silently nodding. "Just ignore him, he's assured me he's only friends with her."

"I don't trust him." Seiya muttered, glancing back towards the kitchen where he could hear Usagi removing pans and the other items needed to make dinner.

"Listen to me, there's nothing to be jealous or worry over." Yaten quietly chastised. "She chose you, why she did, I don't know." He stated, smiling in mirth as his brother immediately scowled at his comment. "But she did choose you, you baka, so stop worrying and fretting over nothing."

Glancing over at Usagi as she was sizzling some vegetables and beef strips for their main dish, Yumiko smiled as he stepped closer to her waiting until she glanced over at him before he spoke. "We need to talk soon, alone." He urged watching her silently nod.

"When?" Usagi softly asked, turning her focus back onto the meal she was preparing.

"Tomorrow?" Yumiko requested. "We can go to the batting cages."

"Sure." Usagi said, smiling over at her friend. "I-"

"This smells so good, Usagi-chan." Yaten announced walking into the kitchen. "Do you need any help?" He asked, sending a glare Yumiko's way when he noticed how close the blonde was standing near Usagi.

"No, it's almost done." Usagi responded, not noticing Yaten glare at Yumiko prompting her friend to take a couple of steps away from her. Feeling arms soon wrap around her waist, she felt her stomach flutter under the touch, Seiya's chin soon resting against her shoulder. "I cleared out some space in my closet for you, while you were out." She stated, turning her head to look into his loving gaze.

"Thank you, Odango." Seiya responded, closing the small gap between them as he pressed his lips against hers for a brief kiss.

"I'm going to the batting cages with Yumiko-chan tomorrow. I need to stay in the routine of practicing for next season." Usagi stated as soon as their lips parted, watching Seiya smile at her words.

"Then I'll go with you, Odango." Seiya stated, not noticing the irritation in Yumiko's gaze. "I want to see how good you are now." He commented, watching her smile more at his words before she spoke.

"I'm much better than you remember." Usagi boasted, glancing over as Yumiko spoke.

"You should go with us, Seiya-chan." Yumiko insisted, watching the dark-haired man look over at him with surprise. "I want to see if you're still as skilled as you claim." He challenged, smirking as Seiya glared at him in response to his comment.

"Yumiko-chan, be nice." Usagi scolded, sighing out in frustration as the battle of egos began once more amongst the two men. "I'm sure Seiya-chan is still just as strong of a player as he was before." She responded, turning her focus back onto cooking dinner.

"We'll be there, what time do we need to meet you there?" Seiya asked, smugly raising his brow towards the blonde.

"Is nine o'clock alright with you, Usagi-chan?" Yumiko asked, watching his friend nod her head before glancing over at him.

"Sure, that's fine." Usagi responded, smiling up at her friend. Turning off the burner on the stove, she lifted the skillet as Seiya released his hold on her waist allowing her two continue her task at hand. "Let's eat, Kikyo-chan." She stated, smiling over at the toddler who had been playing by the balcony door.

"Eat, yay!" Kikyo happily exclaimed, as she quickly abandoned the bowl and rubber spatula she had been playing with happily running to the table.

(Later That Night)

Glancing down at Kikyo where she was lying in her arms, Usagi smiled down seeing the child was finally giving in and drifting off into slumber. Carefully standing, she made her way towards the toddler's new bed. "Let's get you to bed." She gently stated, smiling as Kikyo snuggled closer against her in her slumber. Walking the short distance to the toddler bed, she smiled her thanks as Yaten walked over, pulling the bed covers back from the bed.

Gently resting Kikyo down onto the bed, she watched as the small Princes immediately began sucking her thumb lulling herself deeper into slumber. "Goodnight sweetie." She stated, gently kissing the top of the child's head. Glancing up when she noticed Yaten walk forwards holding Kikyo's bunny, she smiled as Kikyo instinctively tightened her hold on her bunny as soon as Yaten placed the toy near the child.

"She loves that bunny." Yaten quietly observed, chuckling at how tightly his Princess clung to the toy in her slumber. "You've spoiled her so much." He teased, looking up at his friend.

"No, I haven't." Usagi responded with an amused smile as she raised and walked towards her bedroom, stopping and turning to look at her friend once more. "Goodnight, Yaten-chan."

"Goodnight." Yaten stated, waiting for his friend to leave the room before he clicked the lamp off. Looking over at their sleeping Princess once more, he smiled hearing her mumble out for Usagi in her sleep before snuggling closer to the white stuffed bunny. "Goodnight, Princess Kikyo-sama." He gently stated, then clicked the light out as he went to lay on the couch for the last night.

Walking towards her bedroom, Usagi could feel her stomach nervously flutter as she walked into the bedroom. Noticing Seiya was already asleep as she entered the bedroom, she smiled seeing he had fallen asleep reading one of her comics. Gently taking the comic from his loose grip, she set the book onto the nightstand before clicking off the small lamp on her nightstand.

Not wanting to disturb his slumber, Usagi nervously slipped into her bed still surprised by her bold move to share her bed with Seiya. Turning onto her side, she shifted for a moment getting into a comfortable position before getting still, her back facing him. Feeling him move, she felt her stomach nervously flutter more as his arm slid around her midsection, his body pressing against hers, his warm breath against her ear as he spoke.

"Sorry, I was meaning to wait up for you. I guess I was more tired than I thought." Seiya tiredly apologized, noticing how tense she felt under his touch. "Odango, if this is making you uncomfortable I can-"

"No, it's not, I want you in here with me." Usagi assured him, turning onto her opposite side so she could face him. Resting her hand against his cheek, she smiled as she caressed her thumb against his cheek. Making out his smile from the soft glow of moonlight being cast through her bedroom window, she nervously smiled before she spoke. 'Is he wearing clothes?' She suddenly thought, her cheeks growing warm as her other hands rested against his bare chest, her stomach nervously fluttering more at the contact of his bare skin.

Feeling Usagi rest her hand against his bare chest, Seiya could feel his stomach flutter under the gentle touch. "I love you." He murmured, pressing his lips against hers. Hearing her soft giggle as he nipped at her bottom lip, he felt her move closer against him in response to the soft nips. Guiding her onto her back, he abandoned her soft sweet lips as he began to trail kisses along her jawline soon stopping on her neck as he focused his attention on her neck, gently nipping and trailing hot kisses against her soft skin.

Hearing her soft sighs and mewls in response to the kisses, he felt her wrap her arm around his neck as she turned her head prompting his lips back to hers. Nervously sliding his tongue against her bottom lip, he felt her open her mouth for him gaining him access as their tongues twined and explored one another's mouths. Hearing a soft muffled moan escape her lips, he felt himself growing harder from her soft moans and gentle touches as they intimately kissed fueled by one another's desires for the other. "Odango." He groaned, as he breathlessly parted his lips from hers. Feeling her press up more against him, he blushed knowing she could feel how hard he'd become, his body yearning to be within her.

Blushing when she could feel his hard member pressing against her, Usagi pressed herself even more against him, her own body's response to how badly she wanted him at that moment. Lowering her arms from around his neck, she felt her stomach nervously flutter as she grabbed the bottom of her shirt, lifting the shirt over her head before she could change her mind.

Dropping the shirt to the floor, she nervously took his hand pressing it over her exposed breasts. Hearing his soft, shaky exhale of breath, she could sense he was just as nervous as her. "I love you." She gently stated his hand flexing lightly over her breast at her words. "Please, I need you, Seiya-chan. Will you make love to me?" She asked, watching him smile before he leaned down pressed his lips against hers in an earth-shattering kiss.

Feeling his hand gently begin to massage her breast, she felt him move atop of her, being mindful of his weight as their hands explored and touched one another's bodies. Feeling their lips part, she felt a soft moan soon escape her lips as his lips and tongue found their way back to her breasts. "Sei…" She moaned, her back arching to the suckling and gentle flicks of his tongue across her nipple, as he nipped and suckled at the tender spot. Feeling another moan escape her lips as his thumb and finger massage her other erect nipple, she felt his lips soon leave her tender breast as he soon pressed his lips to her other breast giving it the same attention. "Seiya..." She mewled, her body burning with desire for more of his sensual touches.

"Odango." Seiya groaned out in pleasure as Usagi dug her nails into his back in response to his touches and nips to her breasts. Nervously sliding his hand down to lower her pajama bottoms, he felt her lift her hips in response as he slid them down further, smiling as he felt her shift under him, soon kicking them off the remaining way.

Pressing his lips against hers, he trailed his hand along her hips, soon brushing his fingers against her before slipping his hand between her, being greeted to her heat and moisture as he slowly slid two fingers inside her. Hearing her muffled moans through their kiss, he could feel himself beginning to throb wanting to join their bodies as he pumped his fingers within her, her back arching, moans, and pleasured sighs escaping her lips in response to his touches. Smiling and enjoying her soft moans, he felt a sense of pride knowing he was responsible for every pleasured sigh, moan, and gasp as her back would arch more every time he hit the right spot. "Do you like this?" He teased, chuckling as a soft moan was her response.

"Sei-Seiya-chan." Usagi moaned, her nails scraping against his back in response to his teasing as he gently pinched and rubbed her causing her hips to buck more in pleasure. "Please...oh my god, please..." She whimpered.

"Please, what?" Seiya teased, enjoying her responses as he explored her body. "Say it." He gently stated. "Tell me what you need."

"I need you inside me." Usagi begged, her back arching once again to his touches, as he massaged her while gently thrusting his fingers back and forth inside her in a pleasing motion. "Please." She moaned, unable to take much more of his relentless teasing.

Slowly sliding his fingers from her, Seiya tried to contain himself from expelling already as another soft moan escaped her lips. Sliding his boxers off, he felt Usagi spread her legs more allowing him access. Positioning himself he pressed his lips against hers as he slowly slid into her, tensing as a pained gasp escaped her lips, suddenly realizing he'd taken her virtue. "Are- are you alright, we can stop." He worriedly asked, not wanting to cause her any more pain.

"No, don't stop." Usagi softly stated, her hand resting against his cheek as she looked into his concerned gaze. "Please don't stop." She begged, watching him nod before carefully easing into more, his movements slow and mindful of the pain.

Feeling her body tense under the brief pain as he slid deeper into her, Usagi bit her lip, her eyes tightly closed trying to focus on the pleasure that would come after the brief pain. Opening her eyes as the pain soon subsided, she wrapped her legs around his waist keeping him in place as his gentle strokes soon grew into more rhythmic thrusts. Closing her eyes from the waves of pleasure coursing through her, she felt his lips press against hers in time to muffle a loud moan, his own pleasured groan muffled as they moved their bodies as one, each matching one another's moves as they tenderly made love for the first time.

(The Following Morning)

Groggily waking to the sun's bright rays streaming into the bedroom, Seiya smiled as he looked over to see Usagi still peacefully sleeping next to him. Her arm was delicately draped across his stomach, her head still resting against his arm from having made its way off his chest sometime during the night. Noticing her odango's had fallen loose during the night, leaving her hair to spill around her in a pool of gold, he smiled at how angelic she looked at that moment.

Smiling more as he looked over her sleeping form, he wanted to engrain her every feature in his mind not wanting to forget the moment they had shared the night before. Carefully planting a kiss atop of her head, he felt her stir slightly before moving closer against him, her hold around his midsection tightening for a moment. "Morning." He chuckled as she stirred from her slumber, a soft sigh of content escaping her lips as her eyes groggily opened.

"Morning, Sei-chan." Usagi groggily muttered, opening her eyes to the harsh bright rays streaming into the room.

"Odango?" Seiya asked, chuckling as she tried to drift into slumber once more. Pressing his lips against hers, he smiled as her hand traveled up soon resting against his cheek as they gently kissed. "I love you Odango." He murmured as their lips reluctantly parted.

"I love you, Seiya." Usagi responded, looking into his loved-filled gaze. Tiredly raising, she felt a blush stain her cheeks realizing she was still nude. Lifting the sheet to cover herself, she blushed more as Seiya lowered the sheet.

"You don't have to be modest." Seiya chuckled, trailing his hands along her curves, stopping as his hands rested against her hips. "I feel like we're connected now." He stated, watching her smile at his words as she looked into his gaze. Seeing a brief moment of worry, he watched her lower her gaze, tears shining in her eyes as she softly spoke.

"We're soul bound now." Usagi shyly stated, lowering her gaze for a moment. "When we gave ourselves to one another the ginzuishou bound our souls."

"You mean…" Seiya asked, pausing for a moment his mind trying to grasp what she had just confessed to him. "Are you saying we're soul mates?"

"Yes." Usagi answered, nervous he would be angry for the bonding. "Are you-" Gasping as his lips were suddenly against hers, she felt a laugh escape her lips as she lost her balance falling back against the bed as he toppled atop of her, the kiss growing with passion, each pouring love for one another into the kiss.

Lacing their fingers together, she felt Seiya pin her arms gently against the bed as his lips trailed soft kisses along her jaw, soon trailing down her neck. Closing her eyes as he began to gently nip and suckle at her neck, she felt a soft moan soon escape her lips as her body reacted to the sensual kisses. "Sei…" She moaned, her head turning to allow him better access to her neck.

"Odango…" Seiya murmured, then cried out in surprise hearing the blonde's soft curse before he was abruptly pushed off her. "What the hell." He muttered, not expecting the sudden action from the blonde.

"Dammit, we overslept." Usagi cursed as she scrambled out of the bed.

"Overslept?" Seiya asked, confused by the comment, watching in amusement as Usagi scrambled to find her missing clothing that was scattered amongst the room. "Overslept? For what, Odango?" He asked, trying to remember if they had plans for the day.

"We're meeting Yumiko-chan this morning at the batting cages, remember." Usagi chided, quickly abandoning her search for her pajamas and hurrying towards her closet. Removing a silk robe, she slipped the robe on before gathering some clothes for their batting practice. "I'm going to go take a quick shower, get ready if you're going with me." She instructed, noticing Seiya was sitting in the middle of the bed with an amused smile as he watched her every move with his eyes.

Looking over at the clock on the nightstand, Seiya smiled seeing they still almost had an hour to get ready and leave. "It's alright, Odango, we still have plenty of time" He assured her with a chuckle. Resting on his side, he glanced over at the clock with a slight pout, their morning activity being cut short by the offending time. Sighing out in dismay as Usagi quickly exited the bedroom, he softly exhaled before rolling onto his back looking up at the ceiling as he found himself lost in his thoughts. 'Why are they practicing so early? I could still be in bed with Odango.' He glumly thought, annoyed with Yumiko for picking such an early time to meet. Getting out of bed with a huff, he lifted his boxers from the floor, placing them back on. Tiredly rubbing his face, he felt a yawn escape his lips, not noticing the door open, or his brother quietly entering the room.

"Why is she in such a hurry?" Yaten curiously asked, chuckling as his brother jumped at the sound of his voice as he entered the bedroom. "She nearly ran me down in the hall."

"Sorry about that." Seiya apologized, chuckling as his brother stepped into the room. "We're meeting Yumiko at the batting cages this morning, we overslept."

"That's right, they were talking about it yesterday at supper." Yaten responded, smiling at a sudden thought. "I'm almost tempted to tag along with you guys and see how much she's improved. She was absolutely terrible in High School."

"She surprised us all that day." Seiya chuckled, smiling at the memory of him dedicating his extra time to train her for the game against the Three Lights number one fan and her groupies. "I knew she could do it, if she just believed in herself." He added, remembering how proud she looked at that moment when she had caught the ball, winning them the game. "You can go with us if you want, Yaten-chan. I'm sure Odango won't mind if you tag along."

"I would, but my bed is being delivered this morning? I'm so looking forward to sleeping in a bed tonight." Yaten responded, happily smiling at the sound of someone knocking on the door. "Look at that, perfect timing." He eagerly stated. "If you'll excuse me, I have a bed to put together this morning." He boasted, then paused as a sly smile spread across his lips before turning and looking back at his brother. "So, did you two, you know?" He teased, bursting out in laughter as his brother turned a deep shade of red with embarrassment.

"Get out of here you baka!" Seiya shouted, throwing a pillow at his brother. "That's none of your damn business!"

"I'm going to assume that's a yes!" Yaten called out, laughing as he easily dodged the pillow that was hurled at him. "Later baka, I'll be sure to give Usagi-chan hell later." He stated, chuckling in amusement as he closed the bedroom door muffling his brother's threats of bodily harm if he did.

Chuckling in amusement as he walked towards the door, Yaten glanced into the living room to see Taiki sitting on the floor with Kikyo in his lap as he read their Princess a small board book. "I've got the door, keep reading to her." He instructed, watching his brother smile and nod his thanks as he continued to read to Kikyo.

"Hey, if you'll just put the bed h-" Yaten greeted as he pulled the door open, his smile suddenly dropping, as he stood frozen in complete shock and stun seeing Mamoru standing in the hall. "Ugh-" He trailed off at a complete loss of words.

Immediately recognizing the silver-haired man, Mamoru raised his brow slightly before calmly clearing his throat and speaking. "Is Usagi-chan home? I need to speak with her." He requested, watching the young man dumbly nod still in shock.

"Yes, she-" Yaten responded, clearing his throat as his voice faltered slightly. "She's in the shower, she's meeting a friend this morning." He explained, watching Mamoru glance towards the door, annoyance briefly present in his gaze before he spoke.

"Are you going to let me in?" Mamoru snapped in irritation, exhausted from his long flight, as he motioned towards the door.

"Yes, sorry." Yaten abruptly apologized, taking some steps back, pulling the door open more as Mamoru silently walked past him into the apartment. "How long will you be staying?" He nervously asked, shutting the door before following behind Mamoru nervously glancing in the direction of the bedroom where his brother was currently in a state of undress. 'Damn, this is not good.' He worriedly thought with unease as he walked through the kitchen.

"I'm flying back tonight." Mamoru sharply answered, following Yaten through the kitchen. "How long will you three be staying?" He asked in return, raising his brow in curiosity to the man's answer.

"Until we can find a new home for our Princess." Yaten responded, then smiled as Kikyo curiously entered the room. "She's far too young to be traveling the long distance amongst the realms." He explained, smiling as she rushed towards him with a bright smile.

"Ten-chan, hold!" Kikyo demanded, holding her hands up towards her Guardian as she reached his side.

"Our planet was attacked, she's all that we have left." Yaten explained, his voice thick with emotion as he lifted Kikyo into his arms. Feeling his Princess wrap her small arms around his neck, he felt her rest her head against his shoulder snuggling into his hold. "Her mother sent her here when we were attacked, both our Queen and King were lost to us." He stated, tears shining in his eyes at the thought of their gentle Queen. "Usagi-chan found our Princess when she arrived on Earth, she cared for Kikyo-sama and protected her until we could arrive. We owe her a great debt for what she's done for us and our Princess." He said, glancing up as Mamoru spoke.

"My condolences for your hardships." Mamoru stated, noticing how young the child truly was. "I've been receiving updates through Haruka-chan. For some reason, Usagi-chan doesn't seem to deem any of this important to keep me informed." He sharply stated, then turned his head at the sound of the bathroom door opening. "Excuse me." He stated, abruptly exiting the kitchen as he made his way towards the bathroom where Usagi was exiting unaware of his presence.

"Seiya-chan you better be dressed or I'm leaving you here!" Usagi called out, as she opened the bathroom door. Stepping out of the bathroom, she walked towards her bedroom to retrieve her hair ties and brush to fix her hair, along with her brooch and shoes. "I haven't been late in a very long time to anything, I'm not going to be late meeting Yumiko-chan." She warned with amusement in her voice. "I'll leave you here." She teased, then froze as a familiar voice spoke from behind her.

"Usagi-chan." Mamoru stated, watching the blonde abruptly stop at the sound of his voice. Looking her over, he felt his breath catch as she turned and looked at him, shock in her gaze. 'She's changed so much since I last saw her. I never should have left her, I should have insisted she attend a university abroad.' He thought, seeing how much taller she'd gotten, her body more filled out, no longer the body of a teen but a young woman. Feeling the guilt of his absence grow more, he snapped from his thoughts as she spoke, the surprise evident in her voice.

Feeling her heart stop at the familiar voice, Usagi could feel tears shine in her eyes as she nervously turned and looked into familiar cobalt blue eyes. "Mamoru-chan." She gasped, covering her mouth in her shock. "What- what are you doing here?"

"I'm sorry for not answering your calls, I've been busy at the hospital." Mamoru apologized, lowering his gaze for a brief moment. "Then with the last miunte flight I didn't have a chance to return your call." He explained, his voice calm and apologetic.

"It's alright, you don't have to apologize." Usagi assured him, nervously twisting her hands together as she remained where she stood, unsure if she should embrace him or stay where she was standing. Deciding to stay where she was standing to avoid any wrong impressions, she could see the hurt in his gaze before his gaze hardened a moment before he spoke. "Mamoru-chan, I-"

"I never should have let you stay here." Mamoru interrupted, sighing out in frustration. 'How long? How long has our relationship truly been over?' He thought with newfound realization, remembering how she would always excitedly throw herself into his embrace when they would meet. Frustrated with both himself and Usagi for allowing their relationship to fail, he took a step forward as he continued to speak. "If I had just insisted that you stayed with me after you graduated High School, we wouldn't be where we are now. We've grown apart, this- this never should have happened. We should have fought for what we had, what we were going to have." He insisted, shaking his head in both frustration and shame. "We-"

"We didn't know this would happen." Usagi softly stated, tears streaking her cheeks, the guilt of her betrayal beginning to weigh heavily on her. "I- I'm sorry, please believe me when I tell you, I didn't mean for any of this to happen. I didn't mean to-"

"I'm seeing someone Usagi-chan." Mamoru abruptly interrupted, watching her eyes widen and mouth drop open forming a small 'o' as she looked at him in surprise.

"You're seeing someone?" Usagi asked, snapping from her shock. "Like dating someone?" She confirmed, watching him smile and chuckle at her question.

"Yes." Mamoru responded with a soft chuckle, not meaning to laugh. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean for it to get serious, it just happened. We've been seeing one another for over a month now. She's a surgeon at the hospital I'm interning at, she's- it's just that-" He struggled, not sure how to break the news to his fiance that he'd been cheating on her.

"She's the one." Usagi interrupted, wiping a few stray tears from her cheeks relieved that she was not the only one who had strayed from one another. "I'm seeing someone as well." She admitted, her cheeks turning red as she looked down with shame.

"We seem to have both strayed from destiny's path." Mamoru stated, his lips briefly curving up into a sad smile.

"The banquet?" Usagi asked, raising her curious gaze towards him remembering how happy he had been that night wanting to talk about it over the phone.

"Yes, I was seeing her then." Mamoru admitted, his shame evident as he averted his gaze. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-"

"Odango, do you know where my pants went?" Seiya asked in mirth as he exited the bedroom still wearing his boxers. "I can't go in my boxers, though you may like th-" Abruptly growing silent, he froze mid-step shocked to see Mamoru standing only a few paces from him. 'Shit! Why is he here?!' He thought with apprehension, his stomach dropping and twisting at the sight of the man. 'I'm going to die! He's going to kill me, I just know it!' His mind thought with alarm, as he nervously glanced at Usagi seeing her face had turned a bright shade of red from their sudden predicament.

Feeling her face grow a bright shade of red as Seiya exited the bedroom wearing only his boxers, Usagi watched as her boyfriend froze in shock as he stood dumbfounded at the sight of Mamoru. "Seiya-baka." She hissed, completely mortified at his lack of clothing in front of Mamoru. 'This can't be happening!' She thought, wanting to find a deep dark hole and never come out.

"Uh...I- I'm sorry, I- I didn't mean to interrupt." Seiya quickly stammered, abruptly turning and retreating back into their bedroom, the door abruptly shutting behind him. Tightly closing his eyes, he felt tears shine in his eyes, a part of him fearing he was about to lose what he'd just gained. 'Please… please don't let me lose her.' He desperately thought, his stomach tightly clenching at the thought of losing Usagi to Mamoru once more. 'I- I can't take another rejection, not again.' He desperately thought, a few stray tears streaking his cheeks.

Watching Seiya retreat back into the bedroom, Usagi could feel a slight pang in her heart as she sensed Seiya's doubts and fears through their newly formed link. Glancing at the door with worry, she turned her gaze back to Mamoru before she forced a smile. "I'm sorry, I can explain. I-"

"I shouldn't be surprised, I had a feeling it was him." Mamoru interrupted the blonde, a soft exhale escaping his lips. "After they left, you just weren't yourself anymore, I kept hoping in time you would get over him, but it seems you never did."

"I'm sorry, Mamoru-chan." Usagi apologized, tears streaking her cheeks. "I- I've messed up everything, I don't know what or how to explain this to the others." She said with defeat, softly exhaling as she averted her gaze. "They're going to hate me for destroying everything."

"We're both at fault in this, Usagi-chan." Mamoru assured the blonde, nervously taking a step forward as he lessened the distance between them more. "I need to get going, I need to speak with Haruka-chan and Michiru-chan." He explained, watching her look at him in shock. "I'm going to command Haruka-chan and Michiru-chan to not interfere in your relationship. This was both of our decisions, not one person's decision." He promised, watching her tearfully smile up at him, a few stray tears streaking her cheeks.

"Will you still rule Crystal Tokyo?" Usagi tearfully asked, her heart breaking more at the thought of the child they had sacrificed in the decision to follow their own hearts desires.

"I've already spoken with Setsuna-chan, she greeted me at the airport." Mamoru began, trying to hide his pain as he kept his voice steady. "We discussed the changes to the timeline on the way here." He explained, his voice wavering slightly. "She said everything we knew about the future is gone. That our choices now will be paving the way to a new future, one that is unknown. It will be written as we make our choices here on out." Watching her silently nod, he felt tears shine in his eyes as a soft sob escaped Usagi's lips. "I know, I'm going to miss her too." He stated, his own heart breaking at the thought of losing Chibi-Usa due to their choices to stray from their predestined paths.

"I- I'll be right back, stay right there, please." Usagi tearfully requested, before swiftly turning and walking towards the bedroom. Entering the bedroom, she noticed Seiya was sitting on the bed, his head downcast as she quietly walked past him towards her nightstand. Opening the small drawer, she could feel Seiya's gaze on her as she removed the engagement ring, her hand tightening around the small ring. Nervously exhaling, she swiftly shut the drawer, before turning and walking to where Seiya was sitting.

Stopping in front of him, she could see the worry and uncertainty in his eyes as their gazes met. Resting her free hand against his cheek, she smiled down at him before she leaned down and pressed her lips against his for a brief, yet sensual kiss. Seeing the surprise in his gaze as their lips parted, she smiled as his hand gently caressed her cheek, tucking her loose strands of hair behind her ear. "I love you, please don't ever doubt my love for you." She assured him, briefly pressing her lips against his once more before she quietly turned and exited the bedroom.

Watching her leave the room, Seiya tearfully smiled as he felt his heart swell with love from her words. 'She chose me.' He happily thought, a few stray tears streaking his cheeks as he happily chuckled, relishing in his happiness that Usagi had chosen him over Mamoru.

Pulling the bedroom door shut behind her, Usagi quietly walked towards Mamoru where he was patiently awaiting her return. "I want to return this to you." She stated, nervously reaching forward to take his hand into hers as she gently placed the small engagement ring into his open palm. "I don't feel comfortable keeping this, I- I want you to have it back." She softly stated, no longer feeling the sparks she once felt as their hands met. 'We truly have grown apart.' She sadly thought, watching Mamoru close his hand over the ring, silently nodding his head before tucking the ring safely into his pocket.

No longer feeling the level of comfort he once felt around the blonde, Mamoru awkwardly shuffled for a moment before he looked up, meeting her gaze. "I don't want this to put a strain between us." He insisted, knowing they still had to work together to keep the planet safe from threats. "We still need to work together to face any threats." He explained, watching her sadly smile before she spoke.

"We'll always be allies, Mamoru-chan." Usagi assured him. "I may no longer have a Kingdom to rule over, but Earth is my home now in this life, and I will always protect my home." She promised, a sad smile tugging at her lips as she fondly thought of the little memories she possessed of the Silver Millenium. "You'll still rule this planet one day as King, and I will continue to guard and protect this planet for as long as you need me to." She swore, watching Mamoru smile at her words.

"You would have made a wonderful Queen." Mamoru stated, watching her smile more at the comment before she shook her head.

"No, but you will be a fair and just King. You were born to be a King, Mamoru-chan, you'll do fine without me by your side." Usagi assured him, watching him smile at her words before he walked forwards and gently kissed her cheek.

"Good luck with your new life, I hope you found true happiness." Mamoru stated as he took a step back looking at the woman who had helped shape him into the man he'd become.

"I wish you happiness as well." Usagi responded, tears shining in her eyes knowing it was probably going to be the last time she saw him.

"Thank you, Usagi-chan." Mamoru responded, meeting her gaze one last time. 'This is truly goodbye.' He sadly thought before he spoke. "Perhaps in time, we can-"

"Yes, in time." Usagi assured him, still wanting to remain friends. Watching him smile and nod in silent agreement, she remained where she stood as he silently turned to leave the apartment. Softly exhaling as the door shut with a soft 'click', she felt tears streak her cheeks as she stood in the hall still reeling over what had just happened.

Not hearing the bedroom door open behind her, she jumped when feeling Seiya's arms gently wrap around her waist, his body pressing against her back. Turning in his hold, she felt tears shine in her eyes as she happily embraced him, happy tears streaking her cheeks as she spoke. "I love you, Seiya-chan." She murmured as she happily cried into his chest, feeling as if a great weight had been lifted from her shoulders knowing she finally had the freedom to make her own choices for her future.

Ushering her closer into his embrace, Seiya happily smiled as he gently tilted her chin up, pressing his lips against hers. "I love you, Odango." He murmured as their lips slowly parted. "I'm so happy we can have this chance to be together."

"Me too." Usagi tearfully stated, happily embracing him. Resting her head against his bare chest, she closed her eyes allowing the gentle beat of his heart to soothe her as she held onto him. "I don't care if I'm Queen or not, I just want you by my side." She softly stated.

"I'll always be by your side." Seiya promised, planting a soft kiss against the top of her head. "I'll be by your side for as long as you want me there."

"Always." Usagi assured him, smiling as she nuzzled her cheek against his chest, relishing in the moment of their promise to one another for a future that was not yet written. 'We get to make our own future now, the choices we make as a couple will help shape the path we will get to take together.' She nervously thought, both scared and excited about the unknown that was awaiting them.
