Chapter 8

NOTE: UPDATED 4/13/2022 - I did not realize this until after someone kindly informed me, that the UK and Scotland do not celebrate Thanksgiving - your queue to laugh at me because I laughed at myself, so, we're all good. Thank you so much for informing me of that! Because I thought nothing of that fact, and I am so sorry that I didn't research that part. So! I have come back and fixed that! Thank you so much to the reader who told me! I appreciate your review and information!

October 12th

She walked nervously through the corridors as silently as she could with a grey fall wrap around her shoulders that Mr. and Mrs. Flamel had sent her for the chilling weather. They were a sweet couple, and they had invited her to spend Christmas and Yule with them. It was an invitation she was going to graciously accept. The couple seemed excited to have a young one in their presents after so long. Even though she had been gifted things that were not necessary items, but even being so well looked after with the needed necessities, as well as the few gifts from the Professors and the Flamel couple, she felt very spoiled. She was thinking, even now in October, what she could possibly do for them for Christmas and Yule. She hadn't thought of anything so far. But right now, she needed to worry about not getting caught as she walked out into the chilly night, making her way after the group of boys. When they came to the Whomping Willow and watched them slip under the tree, her brow frowned curiously and confused as to what could possibly be under the Whomping Willow for them. "What the heck?" she whispered curiously and followed suit carefully. The screams that followed suit had her frightened and running towards the screams. Bursting through the door into a large bedroom, where she found the three boys standing around a shifting Remus. His bones crunching and groaning painfully. "Remus?"

His watering eyes snapped open as he screamed and looked at her as he curled up, "Relia?"

"What the hell are you doing here!" Sirius snapped.

"Rora, you need to get out of here, now," James told her, looking from Remus as his nose and teeth cracked and grew. His body hurt, ached, and burned with pain.

"RUN!" Remus screamed and the shift was completed. The popping and cracking of his bones slowly came to an end as he layed upon the creaking floor whining.

Slipping her wrap from her shoulders and setting it on the door's handle, she carefully approached them, she knew she had screamed the crap out of them when she suddenly vanished, her pajama dress falling to the floor and a tan furred and black spotted wild cat, or also known as a Marbled Cat, crawled out from the nightgown, her long tail swishing a bit before she anchored down like she was going to jump the now shifted Remus, her body suddenly relaxed and simply rested where she lay, watching the sleeping Were-wolf carefully and inching close to a whimpering Remus very carefully. When a soft growl of warning left him, his upper lip curling, though his eyes were still closed she knew his sense of smell was impeccable and she stilled, knowing if she continued he'd likely attack her.

Until he did attack her. Aurelia squeaked a bit as she leaped up on all fours leaping high and landing on Remus's back, the pads of her paws gripping his shoulders, she did not want to use her nails against him no matter the situation. She only ever used her nails when she was in pure danger. And while Remus was very dangerous, she knew he had no control of himself at this moment. Other werewolves, however, she'd use her nails in a heartbeat. But this was Remus. She screamed as a set of claws came up and over his shoulder, scratched along her back, grabbed her by her fur, and threw her across the room and against the wall before she heard the sound of the boarded windows being broken and a howel sounding to the night sky of October.

"Relia!"

"Peter, stay with her, come on Sirius," James ordered as he and Sirius ran from the room and out a back door of the Whomping Willow after Remus.

Rushing to her side, Peter's hand trembled over her fur as he looked over the long and deep bleeding scratched from Remus's nails, "Relia?" his voice trembled with panic for her, when she shifted and her eyes opened, Peter breathed a sigh of relief. He panicked all over again when she was suddenly up, running across the room and jumping out the window Remus had gone out. "Wait! Relia! You're hurt! Come back!" But she hadn't, she'd continued running further into the forest after Remus, James, and Sirius. Knowing they'd be pissed at him either way, Peter huffed and jogged after the group and Aurelia, hoping he didn't run into anything unpleasant.

She ran, even against the burning pain in her back. If Remus was out he could hurt anyone without meaning to. Hearing two boys shouting at one another and casting spells to try to spellbind Remus into submission, she rushed their way hoping to stop this from getting out of hand. Her breath caught with fright when Remus's claws were pulled back to swing at the boys.

Seeing Remus pulling back to attack them, Sirius moved to tackle James to the ground to miss their friend's mean looked claws. The only problem was, he fell over a root when he tried to move and get him and James out of the way, only he hadn't made it to James. "James!"

Frozen from sheer shock and knowing he wouldn't be able to move in time to miss Remus's attack, He held his breath as his wide eyes watched, waiting for the ripping pain he knew was going to come to his skin. A sudden body of fur was slammed against him, tackling him to the ground and standing over his fallen body followed by a sudden feral, feline, growl. Finally looking to see who or what had saved him, James found Aurelias's Animagus form standing over him in a defensive crouch, her fur standing on end as she stared eye to eye at a growling Remus who'd taken a step on all fours towards them both. That had been why she'd growled. Because this was no longer the little miss nicey-pants from the Shrieking Shack she had tried to be simply because it was Remus they were dealing with. Now, he was a threat. But panicking for her and her still bleeding wound he could see still bleeding clearly in the darkness, James glanced back to Remus snarling dangerously to her, "Remus, don't do it, it-she, she's Relia, you remember Kit, right?" he asked his were-wolved friend with a tremble in his words. For a moment he swore he saw recognition to that, "Remus, she's hurt, okay, she likely can't take another hit from you," at that, Remus's ears flattened, his brow frowned deeply and he lowered himself to the cold ground and began to whimper, slowly crawling inch by careful and slow painful inch towards Aurelia still over James in a defensive crouch, though she had not growled at him as he inched close to them, nor when his nose sniffed her pawl and up her front leg and to her nose before timidly licking her cat ears. From there on, they were fine, she trotted off of James and a little away from the two boys, and to their shock, began to play with Remus. They gently shoved one another, chased each other, and played hide and seek and a few other childish games that kept Remus entertained as the night went on. They did notice she was careful with her back, as was Remus, who'd gone as far as trying to lick her injury to clean it. Though, she had quickly and politely refused his attempt by gently patting him with her tail. They'd found Peter running around the woods looking for them and he'd sputtered so many apologies when he'd found them, panting and sweating and out of breath when he'd found them finally, but they were simply happy he was alright.

When the time came for Remus to shift back, he was panting and gasping for breath, trying to breathe through the pain, but the warm body that caught him from falling face-first into the cold dirt, the small hands that shuffled him up and back onto his knees before gently taking hold of his face.

"Remus?" she softly called for him, her soft and smooth voice tickling the tip of his nose as her fingers brushed over his face, cheeking him over carefully. His eyes slowly opened, Remus found green eyes shining with worry, her red hair was pulled over the front of her chest, it was then he noticed the bare skin of her neck and arms. Confused, his eyes traveled downward and suddenly feeling like a pervert, his eyes snapped closed after staring at her nakedness before him any longer than he had already seen, as well as his own nakedness caused by the shifting. He could never help it, his clothes were always ruined, so there was no point in wearing clothing while he transformed, only tonight he'd not gotten the chance to disrobe from his Pajamas, he'd been lucky he made it to the Shrieking Shack. "Re-Relia, w-where-where are you-your clothes?" he stumbled over his question as he made sure to not look at her, his face was red as a tomato. Her sweet laughter only made everything worse.

Finding this entirely amusing and adorable, Aurelia softly laughed at his blush and his concerned question regarding her clothing. "Glad to know you're alright- oh, thank you, James." She said, slipping her arms through the sleeves of the flannel that was suddenly draped over her and relinquishing Remus into Sirius and Peter's care as she buttoned the front.

Sighing, James knelt in front of her as he watched Sirius and Peter walking away with Remus back to the Shrieking Shack to get him wrapped in the spare robe they kept there for him to cover up with before he looked back to Aurelia slowly buttoning the shirt, the soft facial wincing she gave with the subtle and hardly audible breaths she'd take in from the pain from her back, the way she sat straight but the arching of her back to keep the fabric from touching the wounds was clearly noticeable. "Let me see," he told her.

Baffled by his bluntness, Aurelia blushed at his words, "I'm sorry?"

Softly laughing at her expression and the sudden look of shock, James rubbed his face to keep his laughter from growing, "Never mind, I'll uh, I'll leave that for Sirius to do. If you can keep your clothes on this time, I don't think I need to worry. Unless you want to be naked with him, I mean, I doubt Remus minded the view you just gave us all." He said, watching her blush deepening the more he talked. "How'd you get the scar on your belly by the way?" he asked randomly.

Taking a deep breath at the humiliation of knowing he'd seen that scar because it wasn't just on her belly, it went downward and off to the side and over her right hip, from four claws to two that traveled to the back of her thigh just under her buttock. "I was attacked by a werewolf when I was eleven. I learned my Animagus transforming when I was young, very young. Its nails still hurt of course but I wasn't infected. Louie wasn't so lucky. Ever since he was infected Nes and I would keep him company."

"So, that's why you were so very comfortable naked," Sirius said walking back up to them, her nightgown and shawl in hand with fresh clean cloths and a jar filled with some kind of cream. He chuckled at her blushing as she looked from him to her nightgown, knowing that without a doubt he had her underwear in the folding of the gown and shawl.

Grinning at them both, James sighed and stood, "I'll leave you two alone for just a moment. But uh, don't stay out too long." He teased them, laughing when Sirius playfully shoved him.

Watching James enter the backdoor of the Shrieking Shack, Sirius looked back to her and with a grin, he motioned her to come to him with that seductive finger motion just to tease her a little, "Come on, let me look at that back of yours, those wounds need to be cleaned and bandaged." He told her. Almost laughing when she huffed and stood, following him inside and to a secondary room. Hearing the doors close behind them, she took a shaky breath in and suddenly felt cold and dizzy. Likely from the loss of blood that she could feel rolling down her back. She was grateful for the warm arms that wrapped around her when she stumbled back, her head rolling back into his shoulder as she slumped into him and her legs giving out. She breathed out tiredly, her eyes now heavy and fluttering as she fought to stay awake. "Sirius," she whispered, looking up to him as he lifted her up in his arms.

"I got you, love, come on. Just stay awake, okay? I need you to stay awake." Sirius told her, setting her on a fainting couch, resting her head carefully on the pillowed arm he carefully unbuttoned James's flannel shirt and slipped the shirt from her back, and used her shawl as a cover for her waist and her nightgown to cover her chest as he went about cleaning her back. They were deep and ugly, for a moment as he cleaned the wounds he felt he may just take her Poppy with how bad they appeared.

"How is she doin'?" James asked walking into the room carefully.

"She quite literally fainted. There was no keeping her awake, James, I think she needs Poppy. I don't think I can do much for her."

"They'll expel Remus if we take her to them, they know about him, the second she ventures in there with these wounds she'll be demanded to tell them why she was out of the castle at such a late hour and where she went. And then she will likely get expelled."

"I can help her," Remus said softly from the door, dressed in the patchwork of cloth they had sewn up for a robe for him.

Turning to their friend at the door, they felt gut wrenched as he slowly walked into them looking pale and sad, and frankly not looking so well.

"Remus, you should be-" Sirius sighed when Remus silenced him with that look and the shake of his head.

Softly shaking his head, Remus sighed, "No, I can help her. I can heal some of the injury, not all of it, but some. They won't be so deep afterward, but she'll still need to have the ointment and bandaged up." He said, cutting Sirius off from telling him to go rest. He did this to her, he had hurt her, and he wanted to help her if he could. Sighing, Remus softly groaned with some pain as he took a seat beside her and began a charm to heal the still bleeding claw wounds. After a while of healing the deepness of her wounds, Remus blinked his eyes tiredly and let James help him back to the other room to rest for a little bit while Sirius took up to re-cleaning her wounds, applying the ointment, and patching her up before dressing her in her nightgown and covering her up with her shawl.

Sirius sighed as he crawled up beside her on the sofa and stayed by her side, falling asleep not long afterward. He woke to Peter shaking him away, "Come on Sirius, we're late." Peter told him before he rushed out of the room to help James with Remus.

Rubbing his face and yawning awake, Sirius looked over to the sleeping redhead beside him and smiled. She was snuggled up into his side, her head using his arm as a pillow and one of her legs draped over his thigh between her legs, though he was a bit nervous if she twitched because of where her knee was in close proximity of his groin. But she was adorable. Sighing, Sirius gently rubbed her arm to wake her up. He almost laughed when she moaned with slight annoyance.

"No way Kat, let me sleep," she groaned, snuggling further into whatever warmth she was wrapped up in.

Laughing at her, Sirius wrapped his arms around her and kissed her temple, "Sorry love, I am the complete opposite of Kathrine. Come on, we have to get up, we're late."

Hearing a certain seductive and rumbly voice of Sirius Black, Aurelia's green eyes snapped open and looked directly at him. It was then her mind came full circle. One) she had snuck out and witnessed Remus morph into a Were-Wolf, secondly) her back had been ripped up by were-wolf Remus, which explained her back aching, thirdly) she had been naked, for a moment, in front of the four boys and quickly realized she was not in the flannel James had draped around her but in her nightgown- and no underwear- and currently wrapped up in Sirius Black's arms with her leg now between his own legs rather inappropriately. She felt her face heating up as hot as her dark red hair as she stared at him. Sucking in a tiny breath of air into her lungs, Aurelia quickly moved from his arms and off the couch as she wrapped the shawl around her. "I… Um, I… I should go." She said walking quickly towards the door. Her heart pounding through her chest and her stomach filled with butterflies.

"Would you like your undergarment love?" he asked as he looked away from her walking, amused and very pleased with how red her face had gotten, the way her heart had pounded in her chest, the hitched breath she had taken in. But he couldn't let her leave without her underwear.

Huffing with embarrassment, she marched back towards him and snatched her peach-colored underwear that he'd dangled off his index figure hide in a corner of a room, slipped them on after inspecting them, and walked out of the room.

Seeing Aurelia marching from the room she and Sirius had been in, James rushed after her quickly. "Hey, whoa, easy there kitten, take it easy, you can't just walk into the castle like that. We have my invisible cloak, come one, we'll drop Remus and the other two off at the dorms then I'll take you to your dorm. Come on, please?" James pleaded with her after easing her into a stop.

Huffing again as James stopped her, she realized he was right, she couldn't just walk in now, it was too early in the morning, and everyone would see her in her nightgown and barefoot. Nodding, she rubbed her face from the embarrassment.

Getting to Gryffindor Common rooms wasn't that difficult since everyone was at breakfast, the guys could simply walk in with Remus and simply claim he had been sleepwalking. Getting to her dorm, however, was a bit more difficult since Kathrine was pacing the common room and Heather was searching everywhere with Margaret for her. Taking in a breath of courage, she moved to walk out from under the cloak before James eased her back out the entrance, looked around the halls, and removed the cloak after seeing no one there. "Come on kit," he told her with a smile and walked her into Ravenclaw's common room. "Missing someone ladies?" James asked, smiling softly when the three girls ambushed them, but upon them hugging her James almost panicked and winced in sympathy pain when Aurelia hissed in pain at her back being touched from the force of their hugs.

Concerned for her, Kathrine glared at her with determination to get answers, "What happened? Where were you?" she demanded.

"I must have slept walk, I used to do it back home but I haven't done that in a while. James found me while he was looking for Remus. I guess he sleepwalks also." She said with a small wince as she tried to not be bothered by the ointment and bandages Peter had applied to her back for fresh bandages that morning before they'd left the Shrieking Shack, "I fell and must have hurt my back. I don't know how I did it."

"You're talented, that's how," James joked with her and softly laughed when she gave him a sideways smile. Being careful of her injuries, James hugged her carefully and handed her off to the girls, "I leave her in your hands ladies, I will see you in Transfiguration kit." He told her with a slightly amused laugh and tapped her nose like an annoying brother may have to his sister.

As the months moved forward, days came and passed, finally it was time for Christmas. She had finally given in and asked the Flamel's what the other would likely want for the holiday, they had smiled and simply told her the sweetest and most heartwarming thing, "Just you," that had been enough, but she still went out and got them a few things for Christmas exchanges, but their favorite gift had been her sketches and paintings she had done.

"You are very talented my dear,"

"Yes, talented indeed. Oh, this must be Sirius," Nicholas said with a smile as he showed her the page of the sketchbook she had filled up for them both.

Smiling, she nodded, "Yeah, that is the 'infamous' Sirius Black. At least that's what everyone is calling him, he's a charmer, that's all." She told them then began to laugh at the grinning expression the elderly man had given her when she spoke of Sirius. They laughed and drank eggnog, Albus and Minerva had even joined their Christmas celebrations. It was nice seeing them all laugh and enjoy the Holiday. But the sudden sound of the Floo coming in had startled them, especially Aurelia when James popped up with a smiling grin as he dusted himself off.

"Sorry about that, hope I'm not interrupting anything." He said with some laughter as Aurelia had remained in her seat just staring at him with her mouth gaping open.

"Not at all, you're just in time young man," Perenell said with a joyful smile, standing she walked slowly to the kitchen. They'd gone to their cabin for the Holiday and had decided to move back into the cabin for Summer since Aurelia had fallen in love with it. It was a cute cottage tucked away in the woods hidden by bushes and trees with a pond in the front.

Standing from her seat on the plushy cream-colored chair, Aurelia set her glass on the table as she walked up to James with a wide smile, "What are you doing here?" she asked him, giving him a big hug.

Glad he had surprised her, James lifted her up and spun them around a little, "They invited us, said they wanted to give you the biggest surprise this year since it was your first Christmas without your entire family. We all figured we could Floo on over at some point and surprise you." He told her, setting her on her feet he stepped back and looked her over with a smile, "You look fantastic," he complimented.

Aurelia had dressed in a long-sleeved green sweater dress and black hoses. Her shoes were likely upstairs in her room or at the front door. Hearing the Floo starting up, James lifted her up in his arms and moved them out of the path as another body came through, coughing as he stood and dusted himself off. "To much floo powder again, I always do that," the boy scolded himself and stepped out of the path of another body. One after another the house was suddenly filled with people coming in through the Floo network.

Still reeling from her surprised shock, Aurelia squealed with excitement when she saw Kathrine and Heather and the three girls hugged one another. She was politely meeting the parents who had come with their kids, that really only being James's parents, Peter's mother, and Remus's parents. Lily had come with Marlene and Mary who had brought another friend of theirs, Alice, while she was a few grades above them she was still fun to be around. She had made her rounds through the people who had come, but she was startled when arms came up from behind her and lifted her up, spinning them both in a circle as he laughed. She knew that laugh. Holding onto the arms wrapped around her waist and trying not to laugh as she was spun around, she found herself dizzy once he set her back on her feet and turned to face the happy smiling face of a certain dark-haired boy with gray eyes shinning with so much excitement as he hugged her tightly and very close. "Surprised yet, love?"

Laughing at the most adorable and almost the most annoying nickname he had given her, 'Love'. While she liked it because it made her feel special to him, she hated that it made her stomach butterflies flutter all over the place and her cheeks blush the color of her hair. But she was enjoying this, his arms around her and holding her close as they unintentionally 'danced' in a little circle as they continued to hug one another. "Definitely," she answered with a big smile. Sighing, she buried her nose into the collar of his shirt and took a calm breath. "Feels like it's a really crazy dream if I'm being honest. But I'm definitely happy." She said. And she was. Until she felt a sudden shift in the warmth of the room when it became cold and a chill slithered down her spine and made a nest in her stomach. Confused and a bit startled by it, her brow frowned as she opened her eyes to a cotton shirt that had not been the fabric moments ago. The chest her brow had been pressed against had previously been Sirius's neck and the arms around her, while they were warm and strong, and surprisingly comfortable. Something felt wrong. Especially when the rough hand, in a very gentle motion and sensation, ghosted up along her spine over her skin that she knew had previously been covered by her sweater dress.

Looking towards her shoulders to see if she was just possibly hallucinating and hoping to find out what was going on, she took a trembling and terrified breath in at seeing the cream-colored off the shoulder band that was beaded with dark purplish-red beads sewn in a floral pattern, her previously loos hair was pulled back from her shoulders and a few of the loss strands were curled. To her further shock, her hair was no longer dark red, the curled hair she was staring at was her natural platinum blonde. Looking down from her shoulder to look at what she was wearing, her panic grew at the beaded wedding dress flowing down her body and the fact that her chest was no longer the small chest she had for her thirteen-year-old body. Her figure was mature.

This was impossible, had to of been a nightmare.

"You look beautiful," he whispered against her skin just before her ear at the jawline, trailing his lips ghostly across her soft skin as he leaned back from her, to look at her, and he smiled at the green eyes his own green eyes were met with. Her smooth and softly glossed lips with her blonde hair curled and pulled back from her face that had been wrapped in a bun at the base of her scalp pinned in place with purplish-red beaded pins.

The scars and the few tattoos along his neck she saw, Aurelia knew exactly who this was, but to her utter horror, the person she knew and was dreading this being had been confirmed when he spoke. Her heart skipped and hammered against her chest when she saw his face come into view. His subtle and happy smile on his face and the dark seductive glee that shined in his green eyes frightened her. She almost flinched when his warm hand came up to her face and held her face in hand.

"You're trembling," he stated, his words were said so softly that she had hardly heard him. "Are you cold, Aurora?" he asked her.

At that moment, she truly saw concern flicker in his eyes. But the fear of being in his reach, the cruelty he was capable of, Aurelia managed to suck in a breath to wake her up and she moved from his hold, stepping back from him as she looked around the darkroom, the stone pillars, the dark green marble floors that were so glossy anyone could see their own reflection as if it were your twin. The faces she saw around her and Bane, watching them with dark and sinister smiles through the soft candlelight of the multi candle holder stands. But as she turned in a circle to see all of the Death Eaters she was familiar with, even many of those whom she was not familiar with, her skin chilled to an icy level at the sudden sound of slow and emphasized clapping from behind her. Aurelia released her scared and trembled breaths and her body began to shake, terrified goosebumps covering her body as she slowly looked over her shoulder. Seeing the terrified Wizard walking out onto the floor towards them with his flat face and the slits for his nostrils, his hairless head, and the snake-like eyes that looked at her with a smile that had her spine cringing. Seeing him had Aurelia filled with something more than terror, her level of fear was space-bound as she looked at him. Her lungs failed to take in air into her lungs as she tried her best to move away from him, at this point she wished she was back in Bane's arms while hot tears spilled from her eyes. Her legs felt like lead as she stumbled back from the Dark Lords' approaching self as his smile grew wider and wider before he was laughing.

She sucked in a breath of shivering dread when she back into a body, the strong arms wrapped around her protectively, and in the blink of her eyes they were disappearing from the room.

Her eyes snapped open wide with dread, gasping as she sat up from the bed and she looked around the darkroom. Her summer quilted blanket over her bed clutched in her hands against her chest rising and falling with panic with her heart slamming against her chest she swore her heart would have come through her chest cavity. She'd had a nightmare similar to that almost every night since Christmas. It was summer now, and Kathrine had spent the week at the Flamel Cottage, when Kathrine had spent the night, she had forced Aurelia to spill everything. And she had told her everything. From her time traveling to Bane and the Haven, her family, to the nightmares, and sadly Remus. Kathrine had rung it out of her in truth.

Kathrine was good at getting information out of Aurelia when she really wanted the answers.

Aurelia sputtered out her soft whimpers as Kathrine came down the hall and into her room, setting the oil lamp on the little stand beside the door as she silently closed the door and rushed to her bedside and slipped in the bed, wrapping Aurelia in her arms as the girl muffled her cries into Kathrine's neck.

"Shh, it's alright, you're awake, he can't get you here, Relia. You're safe. You're safe," it was all she could do for her friend as she trembled in her arms and cried out the terrors she had been dreaming of. It was soul-wrenching. The horrors Aurelia had described and shown her visually were terrifying for any fourteen-year-old girl. She had come for Aurelia's birthday that summer, like Sirius and James, Remus and Peter, even Lily ventured over with her muggle parents and others had shown up as well, like Alice, a sixth-year Gryffindor with her Hufflepuff boyfriend, Frank. Margaret had come also, unfortunately, she'd come with her older sister Rita, that was the annoying thing. But they still had fun and enjoyed themselves. Severus had even been invited, and while he had come, he hadn't stayed very long, the poor boy hadn't even gone swimming in the pond with them, though it was likely because he feared James and the other three boys bullying him in the water also.

The only reason the Flamel's hadn't heard her whimpering cries at night was because the dear couple was so old they couldn't hear her even if they wanted to on the upper floor where their large attic bedroom and bath were held, it was the floor above the one they slept on with a handful of bedrooms for any guests that came to stay. The couple's room was like a suite in a lavishing manor. While the cottage looked small on the outside, when you walked in the room ended up being larger than you'd expect.

As she sat there with Aurelia in her arms trying her best to calm her down, Kathrine sighed sadly as the panic and stress her friend was constantly under. 'And I thought Sirius and I had it bad,' she thought sadly, gently rubbing Aurelia's back in comfort.

Bane walked down the halls with anger, his bare feet clapping against the cold marble floors searching for his father. Slamming his hands against his father's large double doors of his room as he entered, Bane took in an aggravated breath as he was assaulted by the sight of a woman riding his father, to this effect Bane was numb towards as he waited patiently for them to finish, his father slapping the side of her leg and waved her out with a look of disgust as he too got up from his satin sheets naked and grabbed his robe that had been draped over the large cushioned chair and sighed as he turned to look upon his son, "What is it?" Voldemort asked nonchalantly, his eyes watching the woman walking out of the room draped in her own robe of red decorated with a green snake.

Licking his dry lips with aggravation Bane huffed, "You frightened her." He accused angrily.

Sighing with annoyance, Voldemort rolled his eyes then his neck to rid himself of the kink in his neck, "Oh please. Son, she's a woman of breeding, if she is not put in her place at a young age she will never submit under your will. How many times have I taught you this." He huffed, walking to dark mahogany and glass shelf full of various liquors and wines, and poured himself a glass of dark red port.

"I do not want her submissive. I want her how she is." Bane stated. It was true, the fire in her was what he liked. Her spirit and the laughing joy he had witnessed in her green eyes over the six years of him being Gaius Gallows.

"Oh? And from what I saw she was petrified of you," he said blandly.

"No, she was petrified of you, I merely frighten her to a normal level!" Bane snapped.

Turning to his son upon him snapping angrily at him, Voldemort took in a controlled breath. His son's shirtless chest was covered in scars and tattoos of various things. The boy loved pain, hardly to another, 90% of the time it was pain towards himself, and he got off on it. He was never physically violent to another that he had seen unless the boy had been attacked, not unless he was very angry and the person had deserved the wrath they were given. The girl he had captured had been locked away in his own room to keep others from touching her. She hadn't even been beaten, simply terrified and tossed around and against objects to cause harm. His son was infuriated with the girl who'd run from him that he had slapped Nesrin around for a while because Aurelia had escaped. "It will never work, my son. She will continue to flee from you, and it will be your death… Over a woman."

"I am not you, father, the next time you are near her, do not ever attempt to touch her again. And as for Nesrin, I know you were the one who sent those men to her. Had I been a minute late she'd have been rapped, she's a child!" Bane snapped with anger.

"And you are so different? Eighteen years old lusting after a fourteen-year-old?" Voldemort tossed back to him, taking a seat in his cozy chair, a glass of wine in hand.

Feeling his anger toward his father's blindness and sheer disregard for others stirred his anger. He did not love nor hate his father, he did take orders where they stood. And if Bane himself agreed with his father. "I have no intentions of touching her until she is age-appropriate. I will have her, even if it is my death, you do not need me anyway." Bane clarified and left his father sighing in his chair.

"Pitty," Voldemort sighed. Swirling his wine in his glass he called his Lieutenant. "Have you found her yet?"

"Yes, my lord." The man answered.

"Good, use the machine, take the girl and kill them. I want Aurelia dead, I want the Malfoy girl dead… Oh, and Sean?" Voldemort called, stopping the man from standing, looking over his shoulder to the blind and scared face of his informant. "Take Bane with you… And kill him as well. Make sure the life of thrice comes to an end with this one. The potion is on the shelf beside you. Shove it down the girl's throat if you have to, but she must drink it. Then kill her." Voldemort ordered him. The man whom he had hidden from everyone for years had suffered greatly in his trip here just a hand full of years ago. He'd claimed to be the brother of a woman named Sage McGonagall, the very woman who had caused a rip in time and several loops, but only three would hold a life of thrice for her soul, and time to split and became out of sync on many levels.

Their time was just one possible outcome from the prophecy he had overheard and brought forward in time with him. When his sister had died and Death moved into action to fix what had been broken, because he himself had taken a time-turner, Sean had gone forward after his sister's death, then back to Hary's fourth year, a loop where Sage had never been and killed the boy in the last task of the tournament then brought the boy's body to Voldemort and Wormtail, but he'd been forced to jump forward when that loop as well had backfired for him and he had, instead of going backward again, he had gone forward. Landing here in this loop, where Aurelia Aurora Newnan lived. It was all a confusing mess really. But Voldemort wanted the girl dead, to stop her from changing any more than had already been tampered with. However, he wondered if her messing with the past as far back as she was would really mess with their time? Because so far, it hadn't.

Nodding, Sean silently sighed. While blind he was, he was able to use magic to keep some form of sight in his eyes. By keeping his middle eye open. But he knew he had to be careful. He was open to mental attacks that could leave him brain dead if he was attacked. At thirty years old the man was well trained, however, his blindness cost him a lot of the skills he once had. His aim was now off by a shot in the dark because he had to close his middle eye or risk his brain being melted by any attacks coming his way with the drawing of the opened eye he had to use just to see. Death had been sure to do some damage before he had escaped that Maze. But he had still escaped. Grabbing the potion bottle, Sean bowed to his Lord and left, vanishing into the shadows. "As you wish, my Lord."

*** Thanks for reading! I know a lot of people are probably confused, but I decided to do something really crazy with this life of thrice idea, mostly because I'm kind of lazy to do a different one, so, I planted a few breadcrumbs for the Marauder's fox 1 and 2 stories in the previous fiction work leading to this story. So, in order, it is now From the Beginning, The Marauder's Fox 1 and 2, One Way, and the last one will be called "When it's All Over". So, keep your eyes open for it :) and wish me luck.
