Everyone slept in on Sunday but nobody was very hungover. The only person in the bathroom throwing up was Lani, as usual. Once everyone was up a dressed they all went to go get brunch at a diner that was a very short walking distance from their apartment building. After brunch they were all going to visit Lani and Triss's mom today. Lani and Jonah were only staying for the day because they both had work and class on Monday. Triss and the others were gonna stay a couple days. However, Lani was off work Wednesday and Thursday so she was gonna come back to hang out with them some more.

When everyone was ready they hopped in the car. It was about a 45 minute drive. Their mother, Daria lived in a townhouse in the suburban area of the EC with their stepfather, Kirk. He was a decent man. Lani and Triss didn't get along with him very much in the past but they had a better relationship at this also had a stepbrother named Gabe whom they were not very close with. He was much older than them and usually never came around. Daria was one of Darol's older sisters. She was very different from Darol in a lot of ways but a very nice woman nonetheless. Lani favored her mother very strongly. Triss on the other hand had always taken after her father..

They spent the day hanging out and catching up with Daria and Kirk. Galinda was excited to get to see her favorite aunt and vise versa. Daria was surprised yet accepting of Elphaba and their relationship seeing as everyone else was. She made a delicious meal for dinner. She had to admit that she missed cooking for the girls. They weren't home very often anymore. Lani and Jonah rolled out after dinner. They watched some movies in the living room that evening until the adults called it a night as they had work in the morning. Triss still had her own room at her mom's house. Galinda and Elphaba stayed in Lani's room which was considered the guest room when she wasn't around.

The next two days were pretty chill. Lani was back over on Wednesday. Daria was off work as well so they all hung out and had a fun girls day. On Thursday Lani and Triss were supposed to go out to lunch with their father and Galinda and Elphaba were welcome to come. Their father Landon, lived further out in the suburbs and they saw him far less than they saw their mother. Lani told him about her pregnancy which went surprisingly well. After a good lunch they went with him back to the house for a bit to see their stepmom as well.

They made it back to the apartment by time Jonah was off work. They all agreed that the Life Cafe was the move for dinner since it was karaoke night again. On Friday morning Darol called asking the Galinda and Elphaba if they wanted him to book them the train to Frotttica that evening so they could come home but Lani and Triss convinced them to stay until Sunday. Saturday was a another day out and about in the city for them. There were a lot of things that they didn't have time to do last time that they did today. Saturday night was another right out. Triss, Galinda and Elphaba hit up another club with Bella. It was a fun night but it resulted in Galinda getting a little too drunk this time and being quite hungover the next morning.

"I had so much fun with Triss and Lani." Galinda said that night when she and Elphie were heading up to their rooms.

"I really did too." Elphie agreed. They had been back in Frottica for a few hours now. They had dinner with the family and spent the rest of the evening catching up with Laura and Darol about the past week and a half. Everyone was heading up for the night at this point.

"Get changed into your pajamas and come back to my room?" Galinda asked.

"Of course my sweet." Elphie said and gave her a kiss before they parted ways.

"Hi there beautiful." Galinda grinned when Elphie came into her room.

"Hey pretty girl." Elphie smiled and joined her on the bed. Darol and Laura and had already come through to both of their rooms to say their goodnights so they weren't worried about any interruptions.

"What's in that bag?" Galinda asked.

"Open it and see." Elphie smiled, handing her girlfriend the bag. The blonde opened it and gasped. It was a glitter globe with pink and green glitter and a photo inside of them in front of the wizard's palace.

"One short day in the Emerald City." she read. "Oh Oz, Elphie I love this so much! When did you even get this?"

"I it bought while we were in the city. I knew you be a little upset about leaving so I wanted to give it to you when we came back so you'd still have a piece of the EC here with you."

"That's sooo sweet. It's so beautiful. Thank you sweetheart!" She giving the green girl a kiss and a hug.

"I'm glad you like it Lindie." Elphie grinned kissing her back.

"You stay spoiling me with gifts." Galinda said with another kiss.

"I don't think this glitter globe is even equivalent to the amount of clothes you bought me this past week." Elphie chuckled.

"True." the blonde giggled.

"Speaking of which don't forget we're working on your closet room with Janina once we're back from the gym with your mom tomorrow." Elphie said.

"I know, I know." Galinda sighed.

"She's made a lot of progress since we've been out of town, the least we can do is pull our weight a little bit." Elphie said.

"You're right." Galinda agreed then snuggled against Elphie. "Do you want to accidentally fall asleep in here tonight?"

"I don't think it's considered an accident but sure." Elphie chuckled. They set an alarm so they would be up before Laura would come in to wake them up. Then they proceeded to kiss and cuddle until sleep overcame them.

Galinda and Elphaba had been enjoying their summer and their time in Frottica so far. Frottica had become more of a home to Elphaba than she had ever known. She had never felt so apart of a family before. She hadn't even thought about Munchkinland since they had left in early June. Although she knew she would have to go back before she returned to school. It was currently the last Friday of July and the girls were on their way to Settica to spend the weekend with Jemma and Sylvie one more time. Jemma had been out of town with Sylvie, Sam and their mom for the past the three weeks. Camille took the twins to a resort in Vinkus every summer and that's where they always celebrate their birthday which was last week.

They stayed at Jemma's house just like last time and they planned on catching up with Sylvie tomorrow. Jemma told them all about her trip to Vinkus and they told her all about their trip to the Emerald City. Jemma found it amazing and also amusing that they met the prince of Vinkus drunk at a club in the EC and couldn't believe he was going to Shiz with them next semester.

Jemma was teaching three dance classes on Saturday and Galinda was happy to be able to join her. They dropped Elphie off at Sylvie's house that morning. Jemma knew about the song writing this time so Galinda was the only one oblivious to what the two of them would be up to today. Elphie had finished the lyrics and sent them to Sylvie who came up with the melody. She had just finished last night and was excited for Elphaba to hear it. They only had today to get the song recorded and hopefully everything would be finalized before Elphaba and Galinda left tomorrow.

"Hi Elphaba, it's good to see you." Sylvie said giving her a friendly hug.

"Good to see you too, Sylvie. Happy belated birthday." Elphie smiled, accepting the hug then handed her a gift bag. "Galinda and I got you a little something from the Emerald City."

"That's so thoughtful. You guys really didn't have to." Sylvie said as she opened her present. It was a ceramic coffee mug with a design of the city on it along with an emerald guitar pick. "Aww thank you so much. I love it!"

"You're welcome." Elphie smiled and they chatted downstairs for a bit. They caught up on all they had been up to this past month. Sylvie had a fun time in Vinkus. While she was away she got her hair done in box braids, so her usual short hair was now in long individual braids that went down her back and it suited her very well.

"I just finished breakfast before you arrived, are you hungry?" Sylvie asked.

"I'm good. Jemma fed us." Elphie chuckled.

"Great. Ready to get to work?" she asked.

"Sure am." Elphie said as they headed upstairs.

"I actually have a little gift for you too Elphaba." Sylvie sad when they entered her room.

"For me?" Elphie said confused.

"Yes. I got a new guitar for my birthday and I want you to have my old one." Sylvie said, handing it to her.

"Sylvie...are you sure? I don't even know how to play."

"I have a beginners book you can have as well. I learned a lot from it when I first started. And I can give you lessons whenever. I think you'll catch on pretty quick."

"Wow… thank you." She had always wanted to learn to play guitar.

"You still owe me piano lessons." Sylvie smiled.

"Of course." Elphie chuckled.

"The song you wrote is very beautiful by the way. I knew you were capable."

"Thanks. It was a rather difficult process to be honest. I don't know how you can write music and poetry so easily."

"It can be hard sometimes. But when you have the right motive everything usually comes together naturally in the end." Sylvie said. "I've created a couple different melodies that I think will work for your song." she played the melodies that she and come up with and Elphie loved all of them and they ended up using a mashup of two. Once they had all the details worked out they practiced in different parts then did the whole song with the melody and lyrics.

"You're amazing Elphaba. I wish I could sing like you." Sylvie said in awe once they finished.

"You're the amazing one Sylvie. You write such beautiful music and play so well." Elphie said.

"I guess we're pretty good duo." Sylvie chuckled and Elphie agreed. They practiced the song many more times, trying to get every part perfect. Once they were satisfied they headed over to Sam's room to start recording. He wasn't going to be home until later that evening so he gave Sylvie access to his software and taught her how to save the song to a flash drive because that would probably be easier for them than burning it to a CD. The recording took several tries to get a perfect but eventually they got it.

"I love it! Do you think Galinda will love it?" Elphie asked after listening to the final product for the first time.

"I think Galinda will definitely love it. It's beautiful." Sylvie smiled.

"Thank you so much for helping me Sylvie, I don't know what I'd do without you,"

"Of course Elphaba. You helped me with my song for my girl so the least I could do is help you with yours." Sylvie said. "Speaking of our girls, Jemma's last class will be ending soon, we're supposed to meet them at the studio."

"Oh yeah, we better get going."

They arrived at the dance building. The woman at the front desk knew Sylvie was here for Jemma so they were able to go straight back. The class had already ended and the students had already left. Galinda, Jemma and Eila were in the studio practicing a hip hop combination that they had created. Elphie and Sylvie stood in the doorway watching and clapped when the music ended, startling them a bit.

"Elphie!" Galinda squealed as she ran to hug and kiss her love while Jemma did the same to Sylvie. They introduced Eila and Elphaba while they were at it.

"How long were you guys watching?" Jemma asked.

"We basically just saw the ending. That was a cool dance, did you choreograph it?" Sylvie asked.

"Yeah Eila and I have been working on it. We just finalized it today and wanted to teach it to Galinda."

"Galinda was over here trying to be modest saying that she's not good at hip hop but she caught on so fast, I think she's better than me!" Eila laughed and so did Galinda. Eila had to get going to make it to her next job in time. Jemma and Galinda stuck around to show Sylvie and Elphie the whole routine from the top and they loved it. Afterwards they went downtown to get milkshakes and to hang out a little bit. Later they went back to Jemma's house for dinner with her family. Sylvie couldn't attend because she had to help her mom with somethings that evening. She planned to reconvene with them later tonight. They were going to have a sleepover at Jemma's house since it would their last night all together until they go back to school.

Jemma, Galinda and Elphaba were hanging out in the basement after dinner. Sylvie had texted Jemma when she left the house and was on her way so the girls were expecting her to be there soon. In the meantime they were just chatting and laughing. Galinda and Jemma went over the hip hop combo a couple of times again because they were obsessed with it. Sylvie only lived about 25-30 minutes away. Jemma noticed that it was taking her longer than usual to arrive but didn't think anything of it, assuming it was just the evening traffic. When it was getting close to an hour that's when she started getting worried.

"I wonder what could be taking her so long." Jemma said.

"Traffic?" Elphie said.

"I don't think there would be that much that much traffic."

"Did she stop somewhere?" Galinda asked.

"Not that I know of…I'll call her." Jemma said and picked up her phone. It rang and rang then went straight to voicemail. She tried calling again but still got no response and was getting even more worried."She's not picking up."

"Well she is driving. Maybe she didn't leave the house right when she said she was, I know I tend to that sometimes." Galinda said, trying to be optimistic, even although she was slightly worried and confused as well.

"Maybe...but she usually would've let me know if something came up." Jemma said unconvinced. The waited a little longer. Jemma called again and still got no response. She texted telling Sylvie that she was concerned and to call her when she could. It had been almost another half hour at this point and she didn't know what to do. Elphaba and Galinda were concerned as well. Jemma decided to call one more time.

"Sylvienorah...please answer your Ozdamn phone." She said to her herself then sighed when it went to voicemail again. "Hey babe, it's me...again. You should've been here a long time ago and I'm really worried. I hope you're okay, please call me." she said then hung up. She sat down on the couch and put her hands to her face and sighed.

"Jemma…" Galinda said sitting beside her, putting an arm around her.

"Perhaps her phone is dead?" Elphie suggested.

"Sylvie always has her charger with her, always. She's the one who gets on me for not always charging my phone. This isn't right…" Jemma said then all of a sudden her phone rang.

"Is that her?" Galinda asked, perking up.

"It's Sam." Jemma said confused as she picked it up. Sylvie's brother never called. She knew for sure something was not just wrong but very wrong.

"Hello?" She answered the phone cautiously then her eyes went wide. "Oh my Oz...Holy Shit! Sam, where are you guys? Where is she? What hospital?...I'm on my way." Jemma hung up the phone and sighed. Her eyes filled with tears.

"Jemma?" Galinda asked shakily with tears welling in her own eyes.

"We have to get to the hospital right now." she said getting up quickly.

"Is Sylvie okay?" Elphie asked, worried. Her heart was racing.

"She was in a car accident." Jemma said, letting her tears fall then wiping them away quickly. The girls gasped and Galinda's tears fell as well.

"He said someone hit her and her car spun and flipped over or something. She's hurt. I don't know how bad it is. Get your shoes. We need to go right now." Jemma said. Elphie and Galinda compiled and they were on the road in no time.
