Mal, Ruby and Evie were back on top of the lookout with their chosen VK's applications in their hands, the boys were standing on the steps on either side. Evie grinned at her friends before she took a breath and smiled to make her announcement with them. "I'm so excited. I can't believe this day has finally arrived!"

"I honestly wish we could take you all with us." Ruby said grinning down at all the kids who were just like them a time ago, looking for a new chance.

"And some day, very soon, maybe we can." Evie added.

"Yeah, we're gonna be back here so many times, you're going to be so sick of us." Mal joked tossing her hand.

"So sick." Evie echoed and everyone laughed, then she cleared her throat and shook her application with flair, "Can I get a drum roll, please?"

The kids of the Isle started stomping their feet to sound like a drum roll.

"First, I would like to begin, with the granddaughter of Lady Tremaine, daughter of Drizella, my sweet, sweet friend: My Dizzy." Evie said with a warm smile pointing down at her friend. Everyone cheered for Dizzy and she grinned happily running up the stairs to hug Evie.

Carlos took his turn, "Next, the son of Smee," then he smiled to the twin boys who stood by Captain Hook's right-hand man calling one of them up to him. "Come on, Squeaky!" The shy boy silently walked over to Carlos before hugging him.

"And there's no way we're splitting up the twins, so come over here, Squirmy, come on!" Jay smiled at the second twin and dropped to his knee to hug the boy when he jumped into his arms, Squeaky beamed at seeing his twin brother joining him.

"And last, but certainly not least, we all picked these twins because we agreed that they could use a little bit of Fairy Godmother's goodness class," Ruby began.

"Give it on up for Dr. Facilier's twins: Celia and Freddie." Mal finished extending a hand down to the troublesome twins.

The twins grinned as the crowd cheered for them, and they did a little handshake and dance before running up to the outpost.

The boys also joined them up there as Mal and Ruby hugged the twins.

"We'll be back for you guys, next week, okay?" Carlos smiled.

"And so, pack your stuff," Jay added before smiling playfully. "Your own stuff."

"So um, where are we going?" Mal prompted.

"We're going to Auradon!" Celia, Freddie and Dizzy yelled with the others on the Isle joining in at the end.

A few days later Ruby was standing on the beach, without a clue as to how she got there, staring out over the water in a bit of a daze. She wasn't sure how she got there, but she was now watching the water for signs of any tentacles popping up. Courtesy of a certain daughter of Ursula. She was so focused on her searching and resolutely not thinking about how she got on the beach in the first place, that she didn't hear the footsteps coming up behind her.

"Gotcha'." Jay said coming up behind her and wrapping his arms around her waist picking her up and swinging her around. She squealed but held onto his arm until he put her down smiling. "I've been looking for you."

"I've been here." She told him moving a stray piece of hair from in front if her face. "Watching the waves."

"Anything?"

"Not a single tentacle, anywhere close to here." She told him turning back to the water and leaving back into his chest, "I really wish I had time to do a dragon fly over, get a better look."

"Hey," Jay said squeezing her waist, "You know how weak that makes you since you and Mal separated. I don't like seeing you like that."

"It's getting better." Ruby defended.

"Besides I talked to Ben, and he agreed to post extra guards." He said while nodding over his shoulder to the top of the castle where there were multiple guards there on the rooftops with spyglasses looking out over the water. "I've got you back." He grinned pulling her closer.

Ruby smiled and kissed him, "I love you."

He blew a breath out of his nose and took her wrist in his hand, "I heard you last night." He told her and she almost deflated, "I thought you said it was getting better."

"I did." She defended, "It is, I just. I don't know must have been moving around more than usual last night."

"If something's going on with you babe, I want to know." He ducked down a little to catch her eye, "You know you can tell me anything right?"

"I know." She said nodding before taking a deep breath, "And as soon as I figure out what's going on, I'll tell you."

"Speaking of, I need to tell you something." He said seriously but she didn't hear him because she caught sight of her watch and the time.

"C'mon," she urged taking his hand and pulling him in the direction of the castle, "We're gonna be late." She said while running and pulling him behind her.

Jay sighed but grinned at his girlfriends antics, easily keeping pace easily as she ran, and thinking to himself that he really needed to find the right time to tell her, and soon.

All of Auradon was present at the main entrance to the school and kingdom as it was finally the day when the new villain kids would be welcomed to Auradon. Almost everyone was excited to welcome, the exception to the extended l reformat excitement were of course Audrey, who had just come back to Auradon from her retreat with her fairy godmothers and of course her grandmother who still hadn't forgotten the whole parents day fiasco.

"Here they come." Evie smiled happily as Mal and Ben made their way to the platform set up in the middle of the field, which cued Doug and the rest of the school marching band to start to play. Mal and Ben came out seconds later to a massive applause.

"Stay." Fairy Godmother told Mal as she made to step off of the platform.

"Stay here?" Mal asked to be clear.

"Yes," Fairy Godmother nodded and then spoke into the microphone as the crowd settled down. "Bippity-boppity, one, two, one, two. Can everybody hear me?"

Everyone cheered the affirmative, "Yes!" Jane yelled as she hugged Carlos's arm.

"Ben." Fairy Godmother prompted, handing Ben the microphone.

"Thank you, Fairy Godmother," Ben smiled back as he accepted the mic. "What's up, Auradon?" Everyone cheered some more the excitement palpable. "Thank you," he said with a wide grin. "Thank you so much for coming out to welcome our new arrivals. They'll be here soon."

"Not like we had a choice." Queen Leah muttered to herself and her granddaughter.

"Hey it worked out pretty well for the first four." Ben continued hugging Mal closer and gesturing to the other four original VK's standing close by.

"Yeah, especially for you!" Chad mocked loudly until Audrey snapped her fingers to shut him up.

"Really funny." Audrey rolled her eyes to him.

"Mal, this is the exact spot we first met not so long ago," Ben spoke ignoring Chad's jeering. "I feel like I've known you my whole life, but did I mention, I'm in love with you?"

The crowd 'awed' at that and Doug pulled out his guitar while Ben's family and Mal's scooted closer so they could watch easily and back Ben up as he began to sing.

"I met this girl, that rocked my world, like it's never been rocked," Ben sang to Mal which made her blush. "And now I'm living just, for her and I won't ever stop. I never thought that, it could happen to a guy like me, but now look, at what you've done," he twirled her around and when she turned back Ben was down on one knee, "You got me down on my knee, Mal, it's you and me, It's you and me forever." He pulled a blue box from hours pocket and opened it revealing a beautiful purple engagement ring. "Will you marry me? Will you be my Queen?"

"No!" Audrey gasped and no one paid her any mind.

"Yes." Mal gasped out and nodded happily.

Everyone cheered again when the couple kissed Jay and Ruby hugged tightly and he whispered into her ear, "Makes our picnic look really lame."

Ruby scoffed and smacked his arm, "Shut up." He grinned and turned to hug Jane while Carlos tried to chest bump Adam, only to nearly go flying across the yard as a result, Adam quickly righted him and Carlos was quick to apologize. "I am so sorry. I'm so sorry."

The only ones that weren't excited or happy about the engagement, were Audrey and Queen Leah.

"Makes our movie nights seem a little tame." Doug said to Evie teasingly.

"I love y-" Evie said before stopping herself when Doug looked at her. "...Movies."

"Me too."

"Yeah."

"A lifetime of plans, gone. Our family status, gone," Queen Leah huffed before turning her back on the celebration to scold her granddaughter. "Audrey, you were supposed to be his Queen, and you let him slip through your fingers. Your mother could hold onto a prince in her sleep."

"Don't you think I feel bad enough, Granny?" Audrey snapped.

"Ben and Mal are the best," A girl smiled to her friend as they waved a banner. "I'm so excited for Mal to be our Queen."

"You'd really rather have a VK on the throne than me?" Audrey glared at them. "What is wrong with you, people? What is wrong with everybody?"

Mal and Ben finally stopped kissing and stepped down off the platform, and Ruby was the first to hug her.

"Oh my gosh." Mal gushed squeezing her sister tight.

"Congratulations." Ruby squealed.

Mal gasped pulling back and taking her hands, "Did you know?"

"Of course I did." Ruby smiled, "Who do you think helped Ben pick out the ring?" she teased and then Evie was their congratulating Mal next.

"You are going to rock that crown." She told her while hugging her, "So I've only done about a thousand sketches of your wedding dress, and Belle and Ruby are already planning an engagement party for you next week."

"Well it's a really good thing I said yes." She teased next going to hug Adam who picked her up off the ground a little, then she hugged Belle.

"I finally get a daughter, Congratulations."

"I love you." Mal gushed.

"I love you too."

Mal hugged the fairy Godmother next and Ben came up hugging Ruby next. "I think she liked it." He told her.

"Of course she did." Ruby teased pulling back, "I guess I gotta start calling you Bro huh?"

"If you want to?" Ben said shyly before he was nearly tackled by Carlos and Jay, "I'm getting married." He told the guys almost in awe.

"All bow to Her Royal Majesty." Jay announced playfully before bowing to Mal.

"Oh, yes, her Royal Purple-ness." Carlos added, removing his hat with a bow.

"Silence, you annoying peasants." Mal said playfully waving her hand to her playful friends.

"As you wish, my liege." Jay smirked.

"Your Crankiness." Carlos added.

Mal's purple limo pulled up and everyone that was going over to the Isle started over to it, but Audrey grabbed Mal's arm as she passed by, "Congratulations. You won him fair and square," she smirked to Mal. "Oh, wait, no, you didn't. You spelled Ben to destroy all of Auradon. Touching story for the grandkids."

Mal looked a bit stunned her mouth dropping open a little before she respond Ruby was there, "Audrey," she cut in smiling sweetly, "I never got this chance to welcome you back."

"Ruby, I guess I came back just in time for the big announcement."

"I guess so." They both continued to smile at one another and Mal started at intervene pulling her sister away before Ben's voice came from behind them.

"Okay. Let's do this." he said before fist-bumping with Jay.

"Speaking of kids, we have some kids waiting on us," Mal said to Audrey sliding in front of Ruby. "So, if you'll excuse us." She tugged Ruby away and they headed for the limo Mal climbing into the backseat with Ben while Jay hopped into the passenger seat with Jay in the driver's seat. Both of them missing the glare Audrey sent their way before an evil grin formed as an idea grew in her head.

egyptainrose18: Thank you!

PrettyRecklessLaura: We've got a lot to do my friend.

Alright folks, what do you think should happen when everyone goes back to the Isle? How do you think Ruby will react to Hades trying to escape? What do you think is going on with Ruby? And Ruby and Audrey?

As always, let me know what you think and what you'd like to see in the future.
