"…-losing blood!" First voice I've heard in a while.

Concentrate.

"Fever…help her!" Second voice.

Concentrate!

The voices are appearing and fading. It's hard to concentrate. I think I hear what they say but the words aren't sticking. I've never been so beat tired. It's like I'm physically and emotionally tired along with mentally tired. I want to give up. I want to let go. I can't fight anymore.

"-her!" That was the second voice again. I think.

"You might-…" The first voice from before. It's gentler that the second voice. That one is more panicked.

"I don't care!" The second voice yelled. It sounded loud and it felt like it hit me in the chest. It's hard to describe, but the way it hit me was like a boom into my chest.

It was the first full sentence I've heard so far that I remember. What is happening? What are they talking about?

I feel my body moving a bit but that's about it. Actually, I don't feel it, but I know it's happening.

"No, wait Jasper!" This was a different voice. I was higher pitched. Alice?

There was a response, but it was hard to hear or understand. I did know it was Jasper.

That I was certain of it. I could tell he was panicking and scared. Am I dying?

I couldn't open my eyes. It was so dark where I was. I felt a lump in my throat. Here it comes. My anxiety was on its way to kick my ass. I needed to remain calm. Jasper could feel emotions. If I remained calm, it would be better for him.

"The baby-" This was another voice. It wasn't a voice I heard yet in the darkness.

What was that about a baby? My baby? Right! I was just in labor. How could I forget?

I try to move my arms, but they were too heavy. I feel myself gasp when a cold touch appeared on my skin. I did hear something about a fever, so this could be anyone touching me.

Suddenly the touch went away. Too soon was all I thought about until I could finally open my eyes. It wasn't easy. I had to blink and fight to open them for what felt like a long time. This whole time, I felt like things were happening in a slow pace.

When my eyes were adjusted to a painfully bright light. Blinking again a few times, I caught a tiny movement from the corner of y left eye. Looking over, the thing that moved was in a pale green blanket. A baby.

The baby looked adorable. Brown eyes, honey blonde hair, and teeth? Not going to lie, but a baby with a full set of teeth is just slightly uneasy.

I brought my heavy hand over and gently touched the teeth. Having a good look at them, they were perfectly straight. My son, who I just gave birth, to has a full set of teeth and hair. It brought me back to when my baby brother was born. He obviously didn't have teeth, but he had a full set of hair. I remembered my mom telling me I was born bald and a lot of people thought I was a boy. They would always say how cute her son is.

I heard a chuckle from below me. Or well, in front of me. Just down by my damn feet. I look and saw it was Edward. Ah, he read my mind.

A hand took mine and pressed it onto the makeshift bed.

"You need to stay still." Carlisle said gently. "I'm not done checking you to make sure I patched everything. I don't want you to make any movements."

I let out this dry noise, trying to let him know I understood.

"Can someone- oh thanks Alice." He says as he hands the water to a waiting pair of blood covered hands.

I follow them, and they led to Jasper. His eyes were a very dark brown. Almost black. I know that when he gets extremely worried, his eyes can be golden and go to black. It's like anxiety causes him to use up the energy he gets from drinking and he gets hungry sooner.

He took a clean cloth and dabbed it into the water. Gently placing the cloth on my dry lips, moistening them.

I didn't want that. I wanted a drink.

"I'm sorry, you're not allowed to have anything yet." Jasper said gently. His tone made it seem like he wanted to say fuck the rules and give me what I wanted.

Knowing him, if this continued ay longer then he would.

I started to think that if I was dying, then why haven't I been changed? Surely, Jasper would change me if it had gotten to that point.

I saw from the corner of my eye my baby boy reaching out to me. Rose brought him closer and he touched my bare shoulder.

There was a shifting inside of me, which to be honest creeped me out. I thought about that alien movie where the baby alien moves under the skin and then bursts out. Why did I think of this? Who knows.

Another touch pressed against my forehead. This time it was Jasper. He was soothing me and having me relax. It was difficult to have any other emotion other than the one he wanted you to have.

"I knew it. I knew the baby had powers." Carlisle said as he moved to examine my body.

My baby has powers?

"Healing abilities…" Spoke Edward.

"The wound is healing at a fast rate. I can see the muscle and tissues connecting together. I don't think there will be a huge scar. Definitely not one to be noticed by humans at least." Carlisle said aloud to himself. It's how he made notes to himself out of habit.

I felt more water moisten my mouth, but the time it was the cup being put against my lips. I couldn't help but love him at that moment. Jasper defiantly had enough and just wanted me better.

The water felt so good going down my throat. I didn't notice how dry it was until I started to drink the water. I wanted more and more, but I had to stop because I ended up drinking what was left.

Carlisle continued to examine me as I was drinking, preoccupied by the magic that was happening. "The wound is completely healed. No horrible scarring to the skin. Tell me…" He trailed off when I finished. "How do you feel right now? Did you feel pain while it was healing? Itchiness?"

"What?" I croaked out.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I've seemed to have lost my manners. We will discuss this another time. For now, I am going to check your-"

A squeal came from right beside me. It was my baby. It's honey blonde curls shifting a bit as he was bouncing in Rose's arms, happy to see his mom was healthy.

Now that I can sort of speak, I would like to have a few questions answered.

"Newborns can barely move and keep their eyes open. They constantly sleep. Either I've been gone for months or something happened to him. He looks like he's at least four months old." I say, voice shaking from being unused for some time.

"You're correct. He's the size of a four month old." Carlisle says.

"And no you haven't been out for four months." Jasper added and cupped my head in a hand, rubbing his thumb over the top of my forehead.

I reached out and touched my baby boy, He grabbed my finger and looked at it, examining my finger like it was curious on how my finger looked like.

"I'm sure four month old's don't have a full set of teeth. How?" I ask anyone listening to me.

"He can understand us, by the way," Jasper says, still running his thumb over my forehead. "He's pretty smart. Also, he likes the taste of blood. He prefers it over food. If we give him human food, he liked to eat steak." Jasper chuckles a bit. "He likes it medium rare. I remember liking steak when I was a human. I ate it the same way. Only he is more messy. He likes to feed himself. He ends up with food all over his face." Jasper said fondly.

"Have you tried baby food?" I ask.

"Yes. He smelled it, glared at Rose, and tossed it to the floor. He was so offended that she gave him baby food. He has your stomach, Lori." Jasper smirked. Oh no. What did that mean?

"Huh?"

"He has a black hole for a stomach. He's eaten so much food in a short amount of time. He really likes cookies. Snickerdoodle cookies are his favorite." He answered.

Esme walked in with another baby. This one had brown hair and chocolate brown eyes. Bella's eyes.

"Bella…" I said softly and turn my head to speak to Edward but he was gone.

"Bella is okay. She is in the process of turning though." Alice spoke, knowing that I was going to ask about Bella.

"Then why aren't you all making sure she's okay?" I ask.

"I gave her more medicine than I gave you. She can't move or feel the process." Carlisle explained. "Alice knows when she will wake up. So in the meantime, we all were focusing on you."

Jasper caught me up with everything. Bella and Edward named their baby Renesmee. Still not fully decided on a name to call ours, our son didn't have one yet.

"What should your name be?" I ask our son. "Jasper Jr?" I tease.

Our son stared at me, giving me the exasperated Jasper face.

"Should we be one of those parents who just says a name to their baby and wait for a reaction?" I joke to Jasper.

"That wouldn't surprise me if that's how you want to do it." He responds.

I gave options for names and my son would shake his head to each one of them. There was Leon, James, Luke, Mason, and Levi. All of them were turned down.

"Do you like Noah?" I ask our son and I think to myself how weird it is to see a baby actually think about something and really considering it.

There was a pause before he clapped and bounced in Rose's arms.

"I think we found a name. Noah Whitlock/Hale." I say and look over to Jasper.

He stared into my eyes and put his nose on mine. "I do like James for a middle name." He says gently.

"Noah James it is." I say.

I was given permission from Carlisle to sit up, but he wanted to make sure I wasn't going to collapse to the floor. He wanted me to take it slow to get up. The kids were a little cranky and Rose and Esme took the babies out of the room to go feed them.

Another question I've had since I was in darkness came to my mind.

"How was I dying?" I ask.

The room went silent for a moment before Carlisle answered.

"You were bleeding internally. I've patched humans up many times before. I was very sure I stitched everything. I did notice you had horrible tears in your muscles and organs from the baby trying to get out. It was suffocating inside you. The cord detached itself from the baby. It wasn't receiving anything from you. His instincts kicked in and it needed out. As soon as he came out, he wanted you. He was reaching for you, but I didn't know he was wanting to heal you. All I knew was that I needed to stop the bleeding the only way I know. When you were all together, your condition was getting worse. That's when Alice got the idea to bring him back up and see if our hunches were correct. We always wondered why your pregnancy was less gruesome than Bella's."

"It's because of his healing abilities." I say.

He nodded and looked over to Jasper who was sitting there, listening.

"I almost turned you." Jasper finally spoke up. "I was pulled away from you though. I've never turned humans into vampires before. I didn't care. I needed you alive. Carlisle told me I would have killed you if I bit you. I would have went into a frenzy and could have not stopped. They convinced me to have our son try to heal you. If it failed, Carlisle said he would turn you himself." When he spoke, he never took his eyes off me.

"Edward injected his venom into her heart. Her heart stopped beating so he pumped her heart. Which caused the venom to be spread through her body. She's alive but turning." Carlisle added. "I do think my idea worked. By giving her enough medicine, I was able to have her feel nothing and lay there unmoving. If everything goes to plan, we could try it on you."

"I would love to not thrash around like a crazy person. So sign me up, Doc." I give Carlisle a cheeky grin.

"First I want to make sure Bella is stable before we turn you. One newborn already has me on edge. I want you and the babies out of this house when she wakes up. If there are two newborns, one of them being you, imagine me then. I wouldn't be able to concentrate on her and focus on you. Who knows what she might do then." Jasper was thoughtful about this. He took newborns seriously.

"Sounds good to me, Jasper." I agree. Having two newborn vampires would be total chaos.

I was brought down the stairs and saw in the living room Jake, holding Renesmee. He was staring at her in awe, like she was the most precious living thing in the world to him.

"Alright, Mut. Time to hand her over to me." Rose said as she took the baby away.

"You better be careful with her." Jake threatened and his eyes widened a bit when he saw me. "Hey Lori…" His tone was awkward.

"Hey…" I looked at Renesmee and then back to Jake.

Putting what I knew together, it was obvious what happened. Jake imprinted on Renesmee. Bella and Edwards daughter.

"Oh shit…" I said aloud.

Bella is going to murder him.

A/N: Thank you for being patient and waiting for this update. I hope it was worth the wait. I'll try to be updating monthly and go from there. I think having monthly updates will have me produce better and longer chapters. Also, what do you think of the name? I searched really hard in getting a name picked out for our little cowboy.
