2 months. That's how long it's been since Jo and Kendall found out about the baby. That's how long Kendall's father came back into his life. That's how long the accident was. That's how long Kendall's been trying to get his life back. He can't help his pregnant fiancée when needed. He can't take his Jackson out. It's like everything has to go downhill.

"Alright come on Jackson Katie's going take you to school and I'll pick you up." Jo told Jackson.

"Are you taking daddy to his doctor again?" For being only four years old, Jackson was very smart and observant. He knew his dad was hurt and knew Kendall would be able to do everything he used with him soon.

"Yes I am. But me and daddy will be there to pick you up later."

"Okay. Bye mom. Bye dad." Katie buckled Jackson in before driving off.

"I thought you had to film today?"

"I took the week off. Maybe after your physical therapy, we could have lunch and discuss things."

"Should I be worried?"

"No. I just want to spend time with my fiancé."

"Lunch it is then."

After Kendall's physical therapy which showed he was improving, Jo and Kendall went to a small diner for lunch.

"So I wanted to talk about the baby."

"What about?"

"Well when the baby gets here and they are a few months old, I want to have the wedding."

"I know it's gonna be a while until then but I was thinking what's the rush. I want you to be able to stand at the wedding. I want us to be normal."

"That's the best plan I've heard."

"I think the girls could wait to wear their bridesmaids dresses. And I was thinking Jackson would be the ring bearer."

"I like how you think. I think that's why I love you."

"I love you but I think we need to talk about something else."

"What?"

"It's your dad. I know you said you don't want him to know about me or the kids but he's going to find out soon. And the fact he hasn't contacted you since you got out of the hospital is weird."

"My dad is none of my concern right now. If he wants to just leave again, he can. I can't stop him. But you are right, it's weird how he hasn't come around. And there's something to tell you." Jo looked at him curiously.

"I think he had something to do with my accident."

"What do you mean he had something to do with the accident? That's crazy."

"I haven't told you this but I've been having flashbacks of the accident. I heard someone talking on the phone. I know it has to be his voice. I know it is."

"Tell me what you can remember from the accident."

'I'm sorry Kendall but I had no choice.' An injured Kendall looked into those eyes of who he thought he knew.

'Why Kendall.' croaked out.

'You got what was coming.' He called his boss to tell him the job was done and called 911.

"He drove away after calling for help. If he was the one who caused it. He should've been injured in some way or his car was damaged."

"Do you remember if he walked off or drove off from the accident?"

"He drove off. I don't know how but his car had to have damage right."

"We are going to figure this out but let's finish lunch before we have to wait for Jackson at practice."

"You have one more task. I want you to kidnap him."

"Kidnap my own son? Don't you realize he'll know it's me?" Morgan told the boss.

"That's why he's going to be home by himself. That's the opportunity. If you cannot, I will have to finish this off myself."

"I will do it. Please. I can't keep hurting my family like this. This is my son." Morgan said.

"He was your son but I will always be his biological father."

"I raised him like my own. He'll never be yours. Jennifer won't let you go near him and I won't either."

"You think you or Jennifer are going to stop me from seeing my son. Katie might be yours biological but Kendall is my son. And nobody will take him away from me."

After picking up Jackson and dinner, they had a nice quiet night together as a family. Jackson was working on his homework with Jo helping him and Kendall was looking back at some pictures with his dad and mom before they broke up.

"What are you looking at?"

"These pictures with my dad. Wondering what went wrong. What if my dad never cheated and left?"

"Kendall, you don't know what could've happened. Not everything works out."

"I guess you're right." Kendall was putting some of the pictures back when some had fallen out. Some he had never recognized.

"These photos, the man looks like he's related to me but..."

"What?"

"I've never seen him before. He looks like he is my dad."

"Kendall, you said this man in the photo is your dad. So how is he your dad?"

"I don't know but I think I'm going to do my own research. This is my family."
