A/N: I apologize for the overdue chapter. I have been sucked into an unhealthy habit, which has taken time away from my writing. I eventually decided to focus more on writing. I have no excuse for the delay. There was enough time in the day, but I didn't use it wisely. Just a recap as to what will happen in this chapter, since it's been too long and most people, including myself, have forgotten what happens. So,
Josh Mankey appears and everyone deals with the revelation that Andrew has the same powers as Shego. I expect the first part of Crush will be long, as I'm leaning towards having Andrew reveal the future to Kim and perhaps some other people. Mrs. Dr. Possible realizes something monumental and… something else.
Disclaimer: I do not own Kim Possible. I only own the OCs, one of whom is Mrs. Dr. Possible's boyfriend that she remembered in Attack of the Killer Bebes, and the plot.
Note: I tried and struggled with the Andrew revealing the future part, so I am skipping that part. When it is easier to write, I am reinserting it into Crush: Part 1. Also, I skipped the part about Mrs. Dr. Possible. Sorry if you were hoping to read that part.
Kim Possible wandered the halls of Middleton High that morning with Andrew Lipsky. She still couldn't believe the truth bombs dropped on her a few days ago. She was even more surprised when her mom knew of one of those truth bombs. Kim's world spiraled as she realized Ron had lied to her for months. She felt her friendship with him slipping, as with her friendship with Andrew. He was the son of Drakken and Shego for crying out loud. How was Kim supposed to be okay with that?
Kim approached Ron's locker and saw him throwing books and other items onto the floor. It somehow was messier than before. She couldn't believe how much of a slob her best friend was at times.
"Rufus? Rufus? Here boy," Ron called as he continued to throw items over his shoulder and onto the floor.
"Hey, Ron!" Kim called.
"Ssh! Rufus has gone missing."
"Maybe he's hibernating," Kim mused as she checked a rotten banana peel and tossed it to the ground.
"Not likely, Kim. It's Spirit Week. If the little guy missed it, he'd be crushed." Feeling ticklish all of a sudden, Ron chuckled, reached into his pant's pocket, and withdrew his naked mole rat. "Rufus!"
"Ron, have you ever had a normal pet before?" Kim wondered.
"No, Rufus was the only pet I ever owned," Ron confessed as he placed Rufus back in his pocket. "Besides, never be normal! That's still the Ron Stoppable motto." Seeing Kim's starstruck face, Ron glanced in Kim's direction and sighed. "And we've lost her." Ron walked off while Andrew waited to see what would happen.
"What does this say to you?" Josh wondered as he glanced up at the poster he made for the Spirit Week Dance.
"Oh, it's, it's, err you know. I mean, yeah, totally...um…" Kim stumbled.
Josh turned around and spotted his crush. "Hey, you're Kim Possible. You were on the news a few days ago. Saved some ambassador or something?" he asked as he gathered some extra posters in his arms.
"Um, yeah. I...I…um…"
"That was cool," Josh admitted before he left, leaving Kim to say goodbye to his retreating form.

After the first period bell had rung, Kim exited class and met up with Ron and Andrew in the hallway. She started walking down and the other two followed, listening as she lamented about she couldn't form a sentence around Josh. "How am I supposed to ask him to the school dance?"
"Ask Mankey? Kim, you always go with us to the school dance? Scratch that, we always go as friends. You never date Josh," Ron lied, knowing Kim would try to date Josh and follow the timeline thinking she was changing it.
Andrew had a suspicion that Ron was lying through his teeth, but chose not to say anything about it.
"Yeah, but this time, I was thinking about lining up a… you know."
Ron smiled. "A villain? You could ask Andrew."
"A date! And no!" Kim snapped. Glancing at Andrew, she said, "No offense." Andrew assured her none was taken.
"I can totally bag a date," Ron said, pretending to be as confident as he felt. "I'm asking everyone I find. What about you, Andrew? Asking Liz?"
Andrew shrugged and said he was, although the tone lacked emotion. Kim wondered if anything had happened between them that she needed to be made aware of.
The Kimmunicator beeped in Kim's backpack and she pulled it out of her pocket. Her chubby computer tech guy told them to meet him in their locker. The three went over and Kim opened her locker, Andrew only now paying attention to the photos on Kim's locker. "Kim, why are my parents mug shots on your locker?"
"Hold up, hold up," Wade ordered. "Drakken and Shego are your parents?"
"Let's talk about that later, okay?" Kim said. "You wanted to talk. What about?"
"For one, everyone is wanting your help this week. You wouldn't believe the number of hits we've gotten on the site," Wade began. He sipped his soda and then continued, "There's only one major emergency on that list. I'm streaming you the video now."
The scene showed an elephantine building with the words NT written on the side of the building. Two helicopters circled above the building, indicating that it was a hostage situation of sorts. There was laughter, and then the camera turned staticky.
"Whoa! Rewind and freeze, Wade," Kim ordered. Wade did so and the screen froze to reveal Dr. Drakken about to punch out the security camera. "Dr. Drakken."
"Our arch-enemy," Ron said. "Well, Kim's arch-enemy. Yeah, I don't think he knows my name."
"He does," Andrew said. "It's just he chooses not to because the first time you met him, you mocked him and he didn't take kindly to it."
Ron looked thoughtful while Kim immediately went into mission mode. "Come on, Ron. Let's jet." At Andrew clearing his throat, Kim sighed and added, "Andrew too."
"Oh, yeah! Going to Tokyo on a school night," Ron stated gleefully. "How are we getting there?"
"Don't worry. I'll phone a friend."
Kim, Ron, and Andrew, all dressed in their mission clothes, were up in the air and chilling in a friend's private jet. To Andrew, this was his first time in a private jet, as his parents never let him experience such luxuries. Sure, they were Global Justice agents, but they wanted their son to experience the underprivileged. It turned out to be for the best, as the world went to hell in a hand basket.
"This never gets old," Ron confessed as he laid back in the seat with a glass of soda in hand.
"Thanks for the lift, Britina," Kim said to the popstar whose face was hidden beneath a magazine with her picture on the front.
Britina lowered the magazine, smiled in Kim's direction, and said, "Kim, duh, it's the least I could do after you saved my Chicago show."
"That backstage fire was no big."
"For you, maybe. Must be so awesome not to be afraid of anything." Britina threw the magazine onto the ground.
Kim glared at Ron when he snorted at that and she confessed to Britina that there was indeed something that scared her. A boy named Josh Mankey.
"Ooh! Crush story. Just go for it. What's the worst thing that could happen?"
Ron refrained from picking up the magazine as he had in the last timeline and leaned forward, his eyes hidden behind a pair of sunglasses. "So, Britina as a pop superstar, I'll bet you miss out on stuff like school dances with, you know, normal, average guys?"
"True," Britina said, her eyes titled to the side in a daydreaming state.
"Friday. Dance. You. Me. Average guy."
"No."
A buzzer above them indicated they were landing. Ron shrugged and asked Kim if that was so hard. Kim said it was only hard to watch.
Outside the Nakasumi Toys factory, the three teen heroes stood in the back outside the locked building with Nakasumi and his translator standing off to the side. At the sight of the translator, Ron licked his hand and ran it through his hair, which somehow gave it a more French-like look.
"Thank you for coming, Kim Possible," the translator greeted. "I am Yoshiko, translator for Nakasumi-san."
"You know, I'm looking for a lucky someone to go to a dance with me," Ron said, winking his eyebrows in the translator's direction.
The translator whispered something to Nakasumi-san whose eyes widened. He whispered back to the translator. "Er, Nakasumi san says he's very flattered, but given the current crisis, he feels it'd be inappropriate to go to the dance."
"Not again," Ron groaned.
"Again?" Andrew questioned.
"So what's the sitch?" Kim asked, both wanting to get things underway and not wanting to hear the story behind that instance happening a second time.
"They have taken over our entire factory. The workers are trapped inside."
"How many?"
"Two."
"Hundred?" Andrew asked.
"No. Just two. This is the most automated factory in the world."
"Efficiency, just like Bueno Nacho," Ron noted. "Nice."
Kim cleared her throat and the three teenagers took that as their cue to leave. They approached the side of the building that would lead to the roof, away from the helicopters. Kim undid the rope on her belt loop and fired her grappling hook to the top of the building. She then crawled up the side of the building and threw the grappling hook down to Andrew, as Wade had yet to make another hair grappler that he could use. Ron tried to remain stoic as he shot his grappler up the side of the building and both the grappler and his pants flew up onto the roof.
"Bwaah!"
"Ron, quit fooling around!" Kim snapped.
"Okay, okay." On the second attempt, his shirt flew up onto the building.
"Ron!"
The third time was the charm and Ron flew up onto the building to an amused Andrew and a tweaked Kim. "I would have thought the losing your pants period was over."
"Got to follow the timeline," Ron said as he met Kim and Andrew on the roof. "Losing my pants, why not? I have a hot bod."
"So you know Drakken's plan then?" Kim guessed as she pulled out laser lipstick. "What is he doing in a video game factory?"
"Easy. He's stealing parts to build a giant robot. And we let him escape."
Kim mumbled to herself before opening the ceiling and the three snuck in.
Shego felt her son's presence as she examined the assembly line putting computer chips in miniature robot parts. She knew that if Andrew was there, the cheerleader and the sidekick weren't that far away. Knowing Drakken needed to be alerted, Shego walked up behind him and tapped his shoulder, earning a female shriek from the blue scientist. "Dr. Drakken?"
"Shego! Never sneak up on me like that," Drakken advised.
"I wasn't sneaking."
"Ninjas make more noise than you, Shego."
Shego opened her mouth to say that Team Possible was here when she heard audio static and a voice call out, "Whassup? Naked Mole Rat TV is on the air!"
"That voice."
"That's Kim Possible's dopey sidekick," Shego said.
"You know who I am, so let's skip introductions. I'm broadcasting from… wouldn't you like to know?" Rufus blew a raspberry at the TV. The henchman drove the forklift into a bunch of boxes and trapped Ron against the wall.
"You're cancelled," Drakken said as he walked up to Ron.
"Ron!" Kim cried from up above on a platform with Andrew.
"Here to save your boyfriend, Kimmie?" Shego taunted.
"He. Is not. My boyfriend!"
There was silence for a bit before Drakken waved the remark off. "So, Kim Possible. You think to thwart my plan?"
"Don't stop to tell her the plan!" Shego moaned. At Drakken's assurance that he had this handled, Shego reminded him that whenever Drakken revealed his plan, Kim won, a point that Drakken conceded. With a press of a button, the roof exploded outwards and a helicopter flew down, which caused Kim and Andrew to have to jump onto the ground. "Let's go!" Shego ordered. In less than a minute, the henchman attached hooks to the assembly line and the helicopter lifted it off the ground while Kim and Andrew stood there uselessly. Drakken and Shego glanced up at them from their front row seats.
"We don't have a helicopter, do we?" Andrew asked.
"No we do not," Kim answered. "Great. Just great."
"Look on the bright side. At least the timeline is playing out the way it should," Ron piped up.
Kim growled, not at all pleased with Ron's response.
A/N: That concludes part 1 of Crush. This is short, but it will be about 700-1000 words longer once I include the reveal. I apologize about the fact that none of the big, major stuff I said in part 1 would happen, but like I said. I'm adding the reveal back in once I find that the scene works to my satisfaction. I also don't have to worry about additional writing, as I'm getting this up a few days before my birthday.
I will be back with the rest of Crush by either August or September. Until then, don't get too overwhelmed and peace out.
