A/N: Welcome to the rest of Crush. I added one of the parts I didn't add to the last chapter, so you'll be getting a bit of non-canon stuff. At least, I think canon is the right word. Anyways, let's found out if Drakken and his robot succeed.
Disclaimer: I do not own Kim Possible. I only own the OCs, one of whom is Mrs. Dr. Possible's boyfriend that she remembered in Attack of the Killer Bebes, and the plot.
The sign above the school when Kim, Ron, and Andrew walked in caused Ron to laugh. He thought it was sheer dumb luck that the readerboard read Need a date? Call Ron. Kim and Andrew both rolled their eyes as they followed Ron up to the hallway where one of Josh's posters for the school dance resided. Kim momentarily crossed her arms and said, "Before this day is over, I am going to ask Josh to the dance."
"And I'm going to ask everybody on the cheerleading team," Ron decided.
"Don't you think your standards are too high?" Kim questioned.
"Not a chance. Going big is key." Pause. "Actually, it's flexibility, but that's beside the point. I don't need it, Kim." Ron left before Kim could ask how she knew what she was about to say.
Kim turned to Andrew, noticing he looked less than thrilled about being there. "You're asking my friend, Liz, right?" A shrug. "What do you mean you don't know? You are asking her, right?" When Kim saw Andrew's head sink, Kim cried, "What do you mean you aren't going to ask her?"
"My parents are going to be in jail and aren't going to meet her," Andrew informed. "I want my parents to meet Liz first."
The bell rang before Kim could speak up. "Look, I can't speak for Liz, but if I was in her shoes, it would be okay if I wasn't going to see the parents, as long as we went on the date." It was only until the end of the class period when Kim realized she missed one of her opportunities to ask Josh out.
Kim Possible sat beside a couple of girls during lunch, a glass of milk in her hand. Meanwhile, Andrew was over at the popular's table planning to ask Liz out. "Josh'll come through the door any minute and I'll just spit it out," Kim stated as she swallowed the milk. Upon seeing Josh pass her table, Kim spits out her milk and then cowered underneath the table.
Kim stood outside the school gymnasium, watching as Josh Mankey worked on his poster for the school dance. Andrew was up in the bleachers working on homework. "Deep breath, then take the plunge. Here goes," Kim said.
Bonnie Rockwaller arrived on the scene, closing the door to the gym shut and staring at her school rival. "Hi, Kim," Bonnie greeted with a fake smile.
"Bonnie," Kim said, one arm on her hip.
"Don't mind if I watch too, do you?" Bonnie questioned.
"Watch what?"
"You, Josh. It's so obvious that she's crushing on him," Bonnie goaded as she checked her nails.
"It is not!" Kim protested as she crossed her arms together over her chest.
Bonnie copied Kim's stance and asked if Kim was going to ask Josh to the dance. Upon a question from Kim, Bonnie admitted it was great because she could watch Kim crash and burn.
"Maybe he'll say yes."
"Maybe, but he said no to girls much higher on the food chain than you," Bonnie confessed, unphased by how up close and personal Kim got.
"Well, I'm going to ask him anyway."
"Go for it," Bonnie said, opening the door to the gym for Kim to do just that.
"I will. After practice," Kim decided.
Inside the gym, Nicki Minaj music was playing while the cheerleaders practiced, Josh Mankey finishing setting up the poster between one of the basketball hoops. The practice had hardly started when the doors to the school gym and Ron Stoppable strolled in with a megaphone in hand. "Attention, ladies! It is I, Ron Stoppable. Contrary to popular belief, I am not dating Kim Possible, which is good news for you, Josh Mankey," Ron announced.
"Hey," Josh greeted.
"There is a hole in my social calendar for this Friday. Bonnie, Tara, Marcella, Liz, Jessica, Hope, and Crystal, will you go to the dance with me?" Ron questioned, knowing one, if not none, would be going with him. He wasn't surprised when his announcement caused everyone to giggle at him. He merely ignored the laughter and settled down in the bleachers.
"Okay, everybody. Doghouse pyramid," Kim ordered, watching as the cheerleaders got into position for this practice. Next to Ron, Kim's Kimmunicator began beeping.
"Kim, it's for you!" Ron called into the megaphone, causing Kim to lose her balance atop the pyramid and aim for the basketball hoop. However, Kim ripped the banner for the school dance Josh was working on. Ron and Andrew winced as the entire pyramid collapsed, all the cheerleaders ending up on the ground in a heap.
"Ohh! Ohh! Whoaaaaa!" Kim yelled out as she fell down.
"Kim!" all the cheerleaders shouted, annoyed that Kim had lost her balance and destroyed the pyramid.
"Hot tip from the Nakasumi heist. Can you cut practice?" Wade informed after Ron handed Kim the Kimmunicator.
"I'd rather be anywhere but here," Kim confessed, glancing up at Josh Mankey.
In the Alps, Ron, Kim, and Andrew sat inside a snowmobile, glad they were not out in the snowstorm. The white canvas outside covered the landscape, which the snowmobile was plowing through.
"I told you to bring a jacket, Rufus. Naked and snow just don't mix," Ron chastised, wrapping Rufus in a scarf.
"Okay, let's recap what we know," Kim instructed.
"Check. Subject… Joshua Wendell Mankey," Ron said, grabbing one of a few pieces of paper next to him.
"She meant about Drakken's alpine lair, genius," Andrew said.
"Nothing out of the ordinary," Ron said. "Just lasers and about eight henchmen. And Shego."
"Wait. Josh's middle name is Wendell?" Kim questioned as she grabbed the paper from Ron.
"You know, I never figured that out," Ron confessed. "I assure you when the rest of the report is completely factual," Ron said as Kim opened her mouth to speak.
"Gossip you've heard around school?"
"Moving on. Mankey has rejected invitations to the Spirit Week dance from the following: Courtney Luke, Maria Rodriguez, Natasha Putin, Julia Roberts – no relation - and of course, Bonnie Rockwaller. No current photo was available," Ron announced, showing each picture to Kim and Andrew.
"Wait, Josh spiked Bonnie?" Kim asked, unable to keep the amusement out of her voice. No wonder Bonnie thought Josh would spike her.
"And Bonnie spiked me, as did Courtney, Maria, Natasha, and Julia," Ron said.
"No surprise," Andrew mumbled.
As the snowmobile came to a stop, their driver, Heinrich called out to the group that they were there and thanking Kim for saving his village from the avalanche last year.
"No big," Kim assured as she collected her snowboard from Heinrich.
"So, Heinrich, got any teenage daughters who might wanna go to an American dance party?" Ron inquired.
"Nein!" Heinrich snapped as he held out the snowboard to Ron.
"That's too bad. What about your friends? Do they want to –?" Ron began.
"Nein means no!" Heinrich repeated before slamming the door closed and driving away.
"Hey, wait a minute! I helped with that avalanche!" Ron called.
"You started it," Kim said, earning a snicker from Andrew. "Come on."She and Andrew easily made it down the mountain.
"Here goes something!" Ron announced to himself before he tripped face-first into the snow. "Not a word," Ron warned his naked mole rat.
"Talk to us, Wade," Kim said.
"This is unquestionably Drakken's latest lair. I've hacked into the security system, but it's tight. Can't shut down the sensor beams. But I could boost the frequency so you can see them," Wade offered.
"Please and thank you."
Wade closed his eyes, crossed both hands together, and began typing. In less than a minute, the sensor beams showed up. "So, Ron, we can't touch the red beams. Ron?" Kim said, turning around just as Ron barrelled into the both of them, sending all three of them rolling down the mountain. Andrew quickly broke away from the group and did his best to maneuver around the sensor beams. Kim flipped and avoided the lasers as if it was a simple game while Ron ducked and weaved. When he saw the rock that caused Rufus to hit the laser, Ron back flipped over the rock and landed next to Kim, snowboard in hand.
"Nice moves, Ron!" Kim complimented, impressed by his athleticism.
Andrew, however, was not so lucky, as he fell off his snowboard while trying to stop. The momentum of the snowboard hit the laser beams, causing an alarm to go off."Whoops," Andrew said.
Dr. Possible walked through the aisles of her local grocery store after a shift at work, wanting to pick up some things for dinner in the upcoming days. Her daughter was no doubt halfway across the world by now, so Dr. Possible didn't need to shop for her that much. She was in the produce aisle, glancing at peppers and lemons. Not paying attention, she dropped the lemon instead of placing it in the bag. Sighing, Dr. Possible knelt down to pick up and someone almost ran into her.
"George! Watch it!" a familiar german voice called out. As he approached Dr. Possible, both froze upon seeing each other. "Anne? Anne Smart?"
"Possible, actually," Dr. Possible corrected automatically. "It's nice to see you again, Al."
Al chuckled and told Dr. Possible he preferred Alberto. "It's been a while. You look good."
Dr. Possible nodded politely before pointing to George, the teenager that had almost run into her. "This your son?"
"Foster son," Alberto admitted. "Do you mind if we join you?"
Wanting to know more about one of her old friends from Upperton, Dr. Possible agreed and the three walked through the store together, the two adults small talking about their lives since college. At the end of the shopping trip, Alberto had his foster son head to the car while he stayed behind to say goodbye to his friend. The two agreed to get some coffee when they were less busy. Anne exchanged her number with Alberto and both went their separate ways. Neither were aware that Dr. Ramesh had been grocery shopping at the time and saw the farewell.
As per most missions, Kim was fighting Shego and Ron was fighting the henchmen. At least this time, he had Andrew as backup. Ron was dodging the henchmen, for the most part, earning a few bruises, but taking down each henchman fast and hard. Thankfully, Kim was too busy in her fight at the moment to notice.
Seeing how many more henchmen were coming and knowing that the odds were against them, Ron glanced up at Kim and shouted, "Kim!"Kim hardly had to glance at Ron before she flung a thing of lip gloss in Ron's direction. "Andrew, hold your breath!" Ron ordered.
Andrew appeared skeptical but did as asked. Ron held his breath and opened the top. He closed the top and exhaled once all the henchmen fainted from the stink. "What is this stuff?" Andrew asked, fighting nausea from the strong smell.
"Wade's doing. Duh."
Meanwhile, Kim and Shego were duking it out up on the catwalk, Shego deciding not to go easy on Kim. She didn't want to embarrass her son down there. At present, Shego had the upper hand. Knowing she needed to knock Shego out and she couldn't do that by fighting, Kim shouted, "Ron! Lip gloss!"
Ron chucked the lip gloss up to Kim who caught it, held her breath, and opened the lip gloss right next to Shego. Shego complained of the smell and then passed out.
"Nice work, Ron," Kim complimented after she leaped down the catwalk. "Now, where's…?"
"Ah, my teenaged foe and their buffoons," Drakken announced as he rode in on part of his robot.
"Well, this buffoon knows your secret plan. You wanna steal Christmas!" Ron cried.
"Not even close."
Ron chuckled. "I know. I was just messing with you."
"Watch, as this state-of-the-art assembly line becomes the ultimate robo-warrior!" Drakken announced, a robotic arm attaching pieces to form a ten-foot-tall robot.
"Konnichiwa," the robot said. It picked up a small tank and snapped it in half.
"That'd be so cool if it wasn't just so pathetic," Ron said. Drakken growled and ordered his robot to attack the gang. Kim, Andrew, and Ron dodged its attacks and hid behind a wall.
"I don't think provoking a robot is a good idea, Ron," Kim advised. She brought out the Kimmunicator and turned it on. As per usual, Wade was in his bedroom. "Wade, we're up against a giant robot warrior,"
"Which used to be a robot assembly line. According to this schematics, Nakasumi-san installed an override module," Wade informed, looking at blueprints on his computer.
"That's [giant monkey!] stupid," Ron commented. Behind him, the crate hiding the three of them was lifted into the air.
"Konnichiwa," the robot repeated. Drakken then begins to cackle as the robot continued to attack the gang. Kim dodged the robot's laser blasts while Ron and Andrew retreated off to another side.
"Why did she have to be a cheerleader? If she were on the debate team, I'd have vaporized her by now," Drakken groused.
"Dr. Doofus," Ron called out, chucking discs at the robot's backside. Andrew chose to launch his Go power at the robot. As predicted, the robot turned to attack them, and again, Andrew launched his Go power at the robot.
"It can't be. It's impossible!"
"You'd better believe it!" Ron exclaimed,
Meanwhile, Kim was searching the override switch. "Where is that override thingy?" Kim mumbled.
"Andrew, I need a lift!" Ron yelled out, dodging an attack from the robot. Andrew did as asked and Ron launched toward the robot. With his Mystical Monkey Powered fist, Ron tore through the robot's covering, surprising Drakken. A split second later, Ron super jumped into the seat Drakken was occupying. Less than ten seconds later, Drakken was thrown out of the robot. "Try Konnichiwa!" Ron hollered, figuring Wade was trying to hack the robot.
"Konnichiwa! That's it," Wade gasped from inside his room. He had been too wrapped up in trying to figure out the password, he didn't hear Ron. Soon, the robot shut down and was now being controlled by Wade. "Score!" Wade said.
Meanwhile, a now conscious Shego was starting her second round with Kiminside the robot's control room. "Shego, we're leaving!" Drakkenordered.
Both Kim and Shego stopped fighting at that announcement. "Say what now?!"
"I said we're leaving. I'm not going to jail today!" Drakken screamed.
Shego admitted Drakken had a point and followed Drakken to the exit, promising Drakken that he would explain or suffer some serious injuries. Kim, Ron, and Andrew watched them leave.
"Well, that never happened before," Ron noted.
Andrew, Ron, and Kim arrived at school the day of the dance, having recently finished their mission against Drakken and Shego. Andrew was walking and texting while Ron and Kim were approaching Kim's locker
"Kim, Christmas was saved. What's the big deal?" Ron asked, noting her mopiness.
"OK, first of all, he was not trying to steal Christmas. And I gotta tell you, Drakken was easy compared to this," Kim said.
"Reality check, Kim. If you can defeat an international super freak, you can handle Josh Mankey," Ron said, flexing his muscles. Somehow, Andrew had left, possibly to talk with Liz.
"Kim, Josh Mankey just left third period and is headed your way," Wade informed over the Kimmunicator. Ron, knowing Kim was going to pull him into a closet and lock it behind him, pondered what to do.
"Subject, Mankey. I triangulated his position on the GPS satellite. He's passing the gym," Wade informed them. Kim went to grab Ron, but Ron backed up.
"Kim, this is ridiculous!" Ron said."You can handle this!" Ron shoved Kim towards Josh. After some lame back and forth, Kimhinted about seeing Josh at the dance. Ron facepalmed when Josh didn't appear to understand what Kim was asking. And people thought he was a moron.
"So, I'll come by around seven. See you then," Josh said before walking away.
"Yeah… see you," Kim said, her face radiating with happiness.
"Congrats, Kimbo! I knew you could do it," Ron praised.
"Yeah, I did," Kim said, the same smile still on her face.
"Well, looks as if we're all going with dates this year! See you at seven!"
"Yeah, I guess so."
A/N: I am including a bit extra of Crush next chapter. Should be full of 'exciting' stuff. As you can see, I'm changing the timeline. I'll try not to make that chapter too teenager-like that would make it M. That being said, maybe I can add a fight of sorts, maybe between Brick and someone else? Until next time.
