(Two Weeks and 3 Days Later)

"Gah!"

"Grr...Kakarot! You are entirely too easy on your son! Frieza will torture him slowly before he kills him!"

Kagome cringed at the mental image. She hadn't a clue what this Frieza guy looked like, but she didn't want little Gohan to be tortured by him. "How much further?" Kagome called to Bulma.

Bulma looked at the radar and typed a few things in before a galactic map appeared on the screen. "We are currently between 7899XY and 7802XZ, at the speed we are going, another week and maybe two or three days…hm, there should be a planet towards the left of our ship if my map is correct, but...I don't see it..."

"Tch...Frieza destroyed it not long ago. A planet filled with an Alien race of Farmers, nothing however beneficial to Frieza."

Bulma and Kagome turned to see Raditz standing behind them without his normal Saiyan armor on. Instead, a pair of Black sparring pants and a tank top, the top dampened with sweat from the last few hours of training he'd been indulging in with Goku, Piccolo and the others. Gohan had only joined an hour ago after he'd finished his homework. Kagome shook her head and turned to stare at the map sadly, "just getting rid of what he doesn't see value in... what a creep."

Bulma nodded, "this type of tyrant, has no place in the universe."

Laughing as he listened to the girls, Raditz took a seat in the co-pilot seat and relaxed a bit. "You can tell him that when you meet him. I'm sure he cares about your opinion."

"I will." Kagome said calmly, "he can't hurt me...so I'll be sure to voice my opinion when I see him."

Turning his head back, he shook his head and scoffed, "you are a fool of a woman if you think for a second that Vegeta will let you anywhere near Frieza while you carry his son." True, over the course of a month, Raditz found himself fulling immersed in the alternate time theory that he'd been told by Kagome and Goku, explaining how Kagome belonged to Vegeta and carried his scent, mark, and son to boot. "He'd no sooner lock you up before letting you out of his sight."

Kagome frowned, "you think so? Then this Vegeta...will have to learn...that his mate is far more capable than any average human female." She turned and left Raditz to stare after her.

"You really don't know anything about female earthlings." Bulma said slightly under her breath, although, she knew perfectly well that he could hear her. She didn't bother to elucidate on her comment, just continued to stare at the map as she watched the stars fly by.

Kagome stumbled upon Tien, Piccolo and Chiaotzu during their meditation. She was surprised that so many of these guys even knew how to properly meditate. None of that "oam, oam" nonsense. She walked in and sat down next to Piccolo, not saying anything as she crossed her legs and focused her energy to the middle of her core, like Raditz had taught her. She began to hover and then, from there, she started to focus her mind. She drew herself back to the Sengoku Era, back to a war that was barely won. She watched it replay before she let herself relax and remove the hurt and mental wounds left behind by the war. When was the last time she'd let herself heal? She couldn't remember, but she aimed to release all the pain that held her back.

Piccolo, Chiaotzu and Tien each watched her for a few moments, eyeing the soothing pink glow that had encased her body as she began meditating in silence. Her energy was a warm and comforting hum to them, and they welcomed it before they each, one after another, returned to their own meditative training.

(Three Hours Later)

Krillin looked over Gohan's cards as he held his hand over one of them, then switched to another. Back and forth, he finally picked one and turned it around. "Augh! No way!"

"Hahaha!" Gohan laughed at Krillin's distressed state over the card game he'd been playing with him, his dad and Yamcha. "Krillin, you aren't all that great at card games...are you." He grinned as Krillin demanded another round.

Yamcha was about to say something when the lights on the ship suddenly turned a daunting red and an alarm sounded throughout the ship. "What's going on!?"

Bulma came running out of the room she was just moments ago sleeping in. Raditz was already piloting the ship around an asteroid storm. There were large asteroids coming at them at alarming speeds as he maneuvered the ship expertly, this went on for a while before an asteroid slammed into their ship and caused unknown damage to the outer exterior of her ship. Bulma yelled for everyone to brace themselves as she sat down and started to investigate what happened to her ship while Raditz continued to pilot. "Hm... this isn't good...the ship is fine, but we got knocked off course. Also, it looks like the asteroids are more clustered ahead...we will sustain some serious damage."

Raditz glared hard at the asteroids coming towards them before he yelled, "do you have any firepower on this ship?!"

Kagome was nursing a dislocated shoulder next to Tien who was holding her stable during the extreme turbulence.

"Chiaotzu, go see if there is anything you can do to help." Tien said to his small friend.

"Right!"

Kagome watched the boy nod before he left. She winced and tried to stand, but another shock ran through the ship and she lost her balance again. "Mmph!"

"Don't move so much, it won't do you or anyone else any good if you get injured more than you already are."

She hated that. She was being babied due to an injury, and yeah...fine, she understood why. But seriously, she hated feeling like a burden! She could heal it once they were out of whatever mess the ship was in, but only after her shoulder is relocated. She brushed her tears away that had snuck past her eyes without her permission. "I'm fine, you should go and see what's happening. I'll stay put here."

He looked uncertainly at her, Piccolo had already taken off when the first shock hit them. He'd wanted to go himself, but he hadn't been able to leave her when he saw she'd hurt herself in the fall.

"Really, Tien...I'll be fine. I'm a strong girl..."

He looked her over once more before nodding and leaving out the door. She leaned carefully against the wall and waited the storm out. She could only hope it would end soon.
