She had met them...originally it was fine as just them...but soon he wanted to be more than just them.

"Gohan!" Bulma yelled out as she and some of the Namekian kids she'd been playing with ran forward to greet the trio. "Where is Goku…" she looked but didn't see her childhood friend.

"He...I don't know, he disappeared."

Bulma sighed, "well, it doesn't matter. For now, we will work with what we know. The guys left to retrieve the Dragon Balls, we can wish Goku back to life with those."

"...wish...wait, you can bring Kakarot back to life?" Vegeta frowned, "why not wish for eternal life, then you can defeat Frieza and then bring your friend back later."

Gohan frowned, "...living forever...that sounds horrible."

"You say that now," Vegeta scoffed. "It won't do any of us any good if we can't defeat Frieza. We struggled with his lackies, he's ten times stronger."

Scrunching his nose up at Vegeta, Gohan shook his head before he sat down on the ground. "So, we don't need to worry about dad...but...Vegeta isn't wrong though. If we use the wish for that, we still have to worry about how we'll defeat Frieza. On top of that, I'm guessing...Frieza has Kagome."

Vegeta went rigid as his hands clenched tightly into vice like fists. "We will retrieve her, I need to fully heal first, but I will go alone to get her back."

"Alone?" Bulma frowned, "that's just reckless."

Shaking his head, Raditz agreed with Vegeta, "if too many of us go with Vegeta, we will be spotted before we can get to his mate. It's better if he goes anyways, he'll be better able to find her. My father told me that those who have mated, have a six sense when it comes to finding them."

Perking at the mention of a lost Saiyan that was long since dead, Vegeta wondered what it'd be like to have them all back. "If...you can bring back Kakarot, could you also bring back...an entire race?"

The group turned to face Vegeta, but before they could say anything, he held his hand up as his scouter went off. Turning in the direction of two power-levels, he watched as the Namekian he knew as Piccolo landed with another Namekian he didn't know. In his hand was a giant gold orb with three stars on it in a dark reddish color. "So this is one of those dragon balls? Amazing, to think such wishes can be made on something like this."

"Well," Bulma walked forward as Piccolo landed, taking the ball in her hand as she did. "There is a bit more to it. The balls...are technically used to summon a Dragon, the Dragon has the ability to grant you any wish...so, we first need to collect all of the balls."

"And we are using the balls to bring back Kakarot...he would certainly come back stronger." Vegeta thought out loud to himself, watching the bluenette as she pulled something from her pocket and pressed it. A poof sounded and a large container appeared in front of her. "What?"

"DynoCaps! My dad invented them. You can use these babies to store all sorts of things, this one is just a small one for the Dragon Balls, to make them easier to travel with and hide until they are all gathered."

"Amazing..."

"Is it? It's just compressible micro-technology...oh, there's Tien!" She waved her arms around and jumped up and down.

This pattern continued as Vegeta sat down against a tree and watched as soon all of the dragon balls were compiled in box.

"It's a matter of calling on the Dragon now," Bulma beamed.

"Wait," Piccolo narrowed his eyes. "..."

Everyone waited, but when he didn't say anything, Bulma grew impatient and started tapping her foot on the ground in a show of her impatience. "Well?"

"Kami..." he spoke finally, "...he has sent Goku off to train with someone. He can't be wished back. He said something about taking care of Goku's body..."

"Oh!" Gohan jumped up, "I get it! That's why dads body disappeared!"

"So, then what should we do?"

"We will still fight," Piccolo said, "it's obvious if we just leave, Frieza will destroy Namek and sooner or later, he will come to Earth. So, for now, we should wish all of the occupants of Planet Namek to Earth, with the exception of those wishing to stay and fight, and of course, Frieza's forces."

Nodding, Bulma spoke to Moori, "can we get the last ball?"

"Yes, of course..."

"Cough...cough, cough...before that…those who wish to fight...I would like to...impart a gift before we are sent elsewhere. This is, after all...our home and my children that you are fighting to protect."

Tien shook his head, "there is no need for gifts..."

"It's nothing of a thing, but something to bring out...your hidden potential..." he laughed, "there is much untapped power within this group...let me pull it forth..."

This had the others curious, and so they each moved forward to do what was told. None really knowing what would happen, but at this moment, with Frieza ahead of them...they knew that they could do with all the help they could get.

"We will start with you...little one."

"Wow..." Goku huffed, "I feel like I'm getting nowhere..." He glanced back the way he'd come and sighed, "you could really get turned around if you aren't careful." He started running again and laughed, "I guess I won't get to this King Kai's place if I don't keep going though." He pushed himself to fly faster and wondered how far he'd come, and how much farther he'd have to go. It was a pain, that he'd died so early on. However, even as he thought back to how he'd died...he would have taken that blow for Vegeta again, even if he was given a chance to do that moment again. 'Kagome...you traveled back in time for that guy. I don't think, he's the same man you fell in love with in that time, but I'm certain...that the two of you are still meant to be together. I can protect that...I will...protect that...but from here on out, it's up to you and him. So fight, and win!'

Kagome watched as the door opened to reveal the pink blob of an Alien, he was bringing in food. Her eyes opened widely as he turned his back to her after placing food on the table for her. She couldn't be sure what possessed her to move forward, but with no physical strength to speak of, she pushed him forward with her hands glowing fiercely with her purification energy. Her eyes widened in horror at the deadly and pained screech that fell from his lips as she shot her energy through his body. She watched in horror as his body started to curl in on itself, as if her energy had poisoned him. Shaking her head, she took off in a run and ducked into a room just in time to avoid the forces that were running to see what had happened. She glanced around and frowned, "...this kind of ship...is going to be a bitch to get out of."
