She had met them...originally it was fine as just them...but soon he wanted to be more than just them.

(Present)

Bulma couldn't comprehend the Dragon before her. They had summoned it and asked for the Namekian's home planet to be birthed anew, and that wish was granted easily, for that...she was thankful. Then asking the Dragon for the Namekian's to return to their home planet...after a sad farewell, they were happily wished away, back home to where they could return to their peaceful living. Porunga naturally returned with the Namekian's, and so they had summoned Shenron...and asked for Vegeta, Raditz and Kagome to be brought back to earth. The request...was denied. The three refused to return quite yet. Bulma couldn't understand it, it was months since she'd returned to Earth, four months, to be exact...this meant that Kagome was almost seven and a half months into her pregnancy, and they were choosing not to return to Earth?!

She dealt with that annoyance and asked the Dragon to bring back to life all those who were killed by Frieza on Namek and to bring them back to Earth...the problem...was that everyone was refusing to come back...they all wanted to train. "Tch...fine, let them stay dead!" She growled out.

A sweat drop formed on Shenron as he listened to her yell and rant.

"What the hell should I wish for then!? Hey!" She yelled out to the dragon, "what would you wish for?"

"..." the dragon was taken aback by her question, not ever thinking of his own wishes, he had none, and lived only to grant wishes. "HUMAN, YOU ARE TRYING MY PATIENCE...MAKE A WISH."He refused to answer the question; it was not his place to give guidance to the Blue haired woman who continued to summon him throughout the years.

Bulma sighed, "...can I put a wish on hold?"

"NO."

"Oh...goodness...where is scratch?"

Bulma turned to see her mother come walking out of the house.

"I wish I knew where he was..."

"YOUR WISH SHALL BE GRANTED!"

"Wait! What?!" She watched the dragon balls vanish in a dangerous dance of lightning and thunder before the dragon balls turned shot up and turned into stone before scattering across the globe once more. Bulma fell weakly to her knees and sighed, a feeling of exhaustion hit her like a truck.

"Oh! That's right, Scratch is in the den!"

Shaking her head, she didn't bother turning to watch her mother run inside to find the blasted black cat. "I have to wait a whole year now...to wish them all back to life. I should tell Roshi to pass that message on to Baba or Kami or something...to get it to Goku and the others. As for Kagome, Raditz and Vegeta..." still sitting on her legs, she let gravity pull her down as she fell backwards and stared up at the clear blue sky. "I have no idea."

"Nng..." Kagome cringed where she lay sleeping in the warm bed in the on-planet home they'd been provided during their stay.

Vegeta settled next to her and brought his hand to her belly. She was sleeping, so speaking was pointless, and waking her meant she'd be in more discomfort. "It's getting closer..." a slight nudge of movement against his hand had a smirk forming as he rubbed his hand in soothing circles under the white gown that she'd been provided by the natives of Yardrat. The healing race was one of creation, and after a few weeks on the planet, while they fixed the ship, they'd taken to training Vegeta and Raditz in the art of a technique they referred to as Instant Transmission. However, with Kagome, at the time, eighteen weeks pregnant, and the ship not quite finished yet. They came to the decision that staying until after the birth of the baby, would be for the best. It also allowed Raditz and himself the opportunity to further their training, still utilizing the Gravity Machine in the ship. It was built incredibly sturdy, and he knew he owed the blue haired Earthling an apology once they arrived on Earth. Truly, the machine was a great source of development for him. Another kick to his hand as he kept the motion of rubbing the belly, his Ki was lacing his hand gently as he used it to sooth the baby and to relax his mate.

"We can leave in another month or so...she should be ready then..." Her breathing became steady as her body grew more comfortable with the gentle ministrations of his hand. She relaxed into her sleep and he pulled his hand away and let the gown fall caressingly over her belly before covering her back up and making his way towards his earlier destination. The Yardrat that oversaw overseeing his mate's health. These aliens...were truly too kind. Nothing he was used to. However, he was finding out, that it wasn't quite so difficult to become accustomed to. No... he could get used to this...all of this...

(Dream Scape)

Kagome looked at her belly with an at ease smile, her hands holding it in a gentle and loose hug. "I can't wait...to see you again, Trunks..."

"How priceless...the creation of life..."

Kagome looked up in her starry paradise, her eyes widened at the beautiful woman before her. She moved to stand but a gentle hand stopped her. "...Lady Midoriko...I never got a chance to thank you."

Midoriko smiled, "I'm glad things worked out. I see a hardship in the future you are going into, but I'm sure it's nothing that you won't be able to handle."

'...a hardship?' She frowned, "no hints this time?"

Midoriko shook her head slowly as her eyes closed, "I came here, not to give you a warning...Kagome...the birth of a new Guardian, grows near."

"...you mean..." she looked down at her belly, a look of heart ache clear in her eyes.

A glow formed above Midoriko's outstretched hand, and in her palm formed the Shikon no Tama in all it's glowing glory. "The Shikon, will go dormant...until the Guardian's fifteenth birthday."

Nothing else to do but nod, Kagome watched the glowing orb move towards her before it met her belly and phased inside her. Her eyes fell shut and she sighed, "I should have known..."

"Bearing the responsibility of Guardian, is an honor, Kagome...not a curse. It may feel as though a heavy burden has been settled on your shoulders, but you should know better than anyone, that much comes from the role of Guardian. You yourself met many friends and traveled to worlds you'd never known existed...not saying anything about the love you found in Vegeta. Your adventures are not over, mind you. In this world, they are only getting started..." Midoriko started to fade from before Kagome, "...I wish you...a beautiful life...Kagome. This will be the last time we meet...as the next time I surface, it will be to greet the new Guardian...of the Shikon no Tama..."

Kagome bowed her head respectfully, "Please...take care...of my baby, Lady Midoriko..." as her eyes lifted, she was met with the galaxy of her surrounding dream, her Lady was gone, and Kagome was left to her own thoughts. The many that were floating around dangerously within her head as she subconsciously settled her hand on her belly again.
