She had met them...originally it was fine as just them...but soon he wanted to be more than just them.
(Present)
Bulma heard it before it touched ground. Momentarily, she'd forgotten about the dream as she ran outside and smiled up at Kagome who was the first to run out and greet her.
"I'm so glad you're back...and not pregnant!" Bulma could easily hug the ravenette before her now. She looked up as two Saiyan's flew down, but still, there was no baby to be seen. "Where, where?" She asked, dragging Kagome passed the Saiyan's and back up to the Ship.
Kagome watched Bulma cautiously. She was unsure if she'd recalled anything...like Vegeta had...so she'd left her babies on the ship just in case. They were both sleeping anyways. "Down the hall, first room..." she finally answered as Bulma looked around desperately. It was something...sad...to see. She realized at that moment, Bulma had remembered.
She watched the blue haired female walk nervously into the room and felt the presence of Vegeta behind her. She put her hand out and stopped him when he made to move past her. He had proven to be quite protective over the last few months, and she could feel him becoming anxious as Bulma leaned forward and lifted Trunks. Whether it was the little lock of lavender, or she simply knew...she'd picked him up without having to ask Kagome which one Trunks was.
Bulma turned her eyes to the quite couple, they watched as tears fell restlessly down her flushed cheeks as she held their son close to her chest. "...I'm so sorry..." She could barely talk, and as she dropped to her knees, Kagome moved towards her and wrapped her arms around the girl. She wasn't the same Bulma in that timeline. That Bulma had matured with a very different personality to the much younger Bulma of this timeline, so the pain and sincerity...was real.
"All will be fixed, Bulma...Trunks...that little boy that I knew...he was raised by you and Vegeta, so...I hope you won't think me stepping over lines when I ask you to take part in his upbringing. The little boy who liked reading books on Nanotechnology and watching you invent new devices..."
Bulma's heart broke more and more as she listened to Kagome, but in the end, her eyes turned to Vegeta and as if asking for his permission to be part of his sons' life again, she waited.
Vegeta looked at the woman holding his son, he was enraged, but like Kagome...he understood too, that there was indeed a difference between Bulma "A" and Bulma "B". "...he's the best thing he ever did." Vegeta muttered, "he won't ever be the same, but...you were important to him too...he didn't deserve having his mother and father ripped away from him. So, while I'm okay with you being involved in the raising of Trunks...you...are not his mother, any longer."
The words were like carving knives in her heart. She watched Vegeta take Trunks from her arms and leave Kagome to try and pick up the pieces of her friends' heart. Well...if they were still friends after this. It would certainly be strained.
"Give him some time...actually, you both need some time, Bulma." She rubbed the girls back and sighed, "I'm guessing you got your memories back last night as well?" A weak nod against her shoulder confirmed her guess. "I wonder if the others did too then."
"Why did the memories come back?" She asked brokenly.
"Well...if I had to make a wager...I'd say...the wish you made was for Vegeta to have never come to Earth...as soon as I brought him back...as soon as the ship landed...that wish was in a sense, shattered. We can't undo what been erased, but the memories came back as if it happened...oh...oh no..."
Bulma sniffled, "what is it?"
"...the others who were effected, who were there, they'll remember too..." Kagome frowned, 'I need to go see Chichi and Gohan...kami...as a kid...can he handle those types of dreams!?'

"Daddy..."
An afro sporting man stopped mid kick as he turned to see his daughter teary eyed, staring at him from around the corner of the doorframe. "Videl! Now, why are you crying? Was someone picking on you? Daddy will pummel them if the-"
"Daddy...I had a nightmare I think."
He looked at the girl and lifted her lovingly into his arms, "you think? Tell me, what was it about?"
She sniffled, her tears from waking up and crying, still glistened in her periwinkle blue eyes. "I was big, like you...and I was married...like you...and I had a daughter...like you..."
He frowned, "are you saying that having Daddy's life would be a nightmare?" He felt mildly insulted.
She shook her head, "no...but...the baby started to go away...and then...so did I. The man I was married held me...and then I was gone, everything was gone..."
"...Videl...daddy will never let you marry someone who can't protect you!" He held his daughter in a tight hug, the idea...even if it was all just a dream that the little seven-year-old had conjured up...it was on that terrified him. "From now on, you can only marry a guy who's stronger than Daddy is!"
Looking at her father, she finally laughed. "No one is as strong as daddy!"
He nodded, "...yeah..." he tightened his hold on her and held her close. Training...if for a moment, could wait.

Gohan sat in his room, brushing away the last of his own tears. He'd been awake for a few hours, probably could have gone into the kitchen for a bite or left to train...but he'd been sitting in his room for the last few hours, listening to his mother cry and thinking about his most recent nightmare. No...it was no nightmare...he knew it was real. When that girl called out his name...she'd been so afraid, he'd felt it.
"GOHAN!"
Gohan turned back to the girl holding an infant girl in her arms, his body moved on its own. She knew her, he knew he did. His eyes watched in fear as she began fading, he could only hold the two close in his arms as they started to become translucent.
"Mom must have remembered too..."
"OH KAMI! GOKU! MY BABY!"
A small boy that looked like a mirror image of his father…cried out to the woman holding him, "Mama!"
He closed his eyes as he listened to her choking back her sobs. "...I'm sure of it."
