I do not own KOTOR from Star Wars. Though if I did, I would have had a much better ending for everyone and The Old Republic would not have been what it was. Just saying. Trying to stay true to the events in the OR universe.
This is also my first fan-fic on here officially! Yeah.
This is set in time with the events that lead up to The Old Republic, but it is Meetra centric and to go through her emotions.
She knew this was the end. She threw the lightsaber and closed her eyes, a small smile as the man ahead of her looked over his shoulder as the blade passed the tip of his nose. The blade didn't strike into the heart of beast, but it spared him. She didn't need to open her eyes to see what happened next.
Kreia, witch, Sith, old cryptic…mentor taught her how to see beyond.
The pain shook her to her to core. She scrunched her eyes tighter, she didn't want to open them. She didn't want to regret her decision. She was a Jedi after all, a Jedi's life was a sacrifice.
My life for yours. She projected to him. Her dearest friend. A man she followed after, to fight in the Unknown. To try and save their loved ones, the very galaxy itself.
"Meetra!" It was a soft gasp. He couldn't believe what he had seen. She was falling and she knew it was physically over for herself. But that moment, she knew it spared him death…for the moment.
"Revan…" As she left her body, separating from her physical body she knew she had to remain to keep him strong for the next battle. Revan was tortured and defeated, for now she reminded herself. Patience was neither one of their strong points and it cost them her life and his imprisonment.
Once they dragged him to containment for further probing, she reached out in the force. I'm still here, she pushed the reassurance through the force to him. She would watch him carefully until someone would come looking for him, maybe for her but she was already gone. She wondered who would come and save him and let her rest in peace. Would anyone come to the Unknown Regions for them? Bastila had the boy to look after. And Meetra left her companions with expressed orders…and Atton, he promised. He promised, he promised. He would stay with the little ones.
Other than protecting Revan and keeping his mind intact she would dwell on her life and all the paths that had led her to this point. She sighed, though no breath left her. It felt like a natural response to the arduous task of analyzing her life. Did she truly live the life that she would have wanted for herself?
A.N.: Don't know if I should keep it a one-shot. Any helpful reviews will be appreciated.
