Chapter Ten: Miracle
DISCLAIMER: I DON'T OWN HARRY POTTER OR SPARTACUS I ONLY OWN MY STORY AND THE CHARACTERS I CREATED!
AUTHOR'S NOTE: PLEASE READ! SURPRISE! Bet you guys thought I forgot about this didn't you? I know it's been so long but my personal life got very crazy for a very long time and I had to deal with a lot. It's too personal to go into detail but know that my personal life is finally getting back on track and my school is almost done for the semester and I plan on doing a lot writing in the weeks to come. I thank all my loyal fans who've been so patient in waiting for an update. I cannot thank you enough for it. I promise that unless more things happen that require most of my attention I'll try to be better about updating more often. And that does include my Harry Gannicus crossover that I have for those who also read that one. Which there is an update for it up right now! ALSO I know a lot of my chapters have typos in them and once I have them all my stories finished I do plan on going back and editing them all pretty much at once but for the next few things I write it'll probably be a little worse as I have a very injured finger so it's a little harder to type right now. Sorry again ahead of time. Thank you so much again and I hope you enjoy!

Chapter Ten: Miracle
Harry's POV:
I woke up to see that Spartacus still asleep. Slowly I tried getting out of his hold and off the bed without waking him up or jolting the injuries that still bothered me. One of which was my still very bruised stomach.
I didn't want to take anymore potions and I didn't want to worry my family more than I know they are. Because of that I tried my best to act like I wasn't hurting at all.
When I was finally off the bed I quietly walked over to the mirror that was hanging on the door to look at myself clearly for the first time in forever.
I definitely look like I was in a fight. While pretty much all my bones were fixed with the skelegrow Snape gave me some of my ribs still felt sore. Most of the bruising on my body was done except for the ones Spartacus gave me and the ones on my stomach.
My stomach was causing me the most discomfort and the most worry. I don't what happened all those years ago but I know the recent beating it took didn't help the matter at all.
'Perhaps I should get checked out one more time before taking that bloody potion Albus wants me to take.' I thought with a glare as I switched my gaze to all the scars that were now showing.
Just like it's always been I never show all my scars to anyone but Spartacus. Even Adam hasn't seen them all.
Looking to my arm I glared at the hidden scar wishing I could make it go away.
I jumped out of my thoughts when arms suddenly wrapped around my waist.
"What a beautiful vision to wake up to." Spartacus said and I looked at his reflection.
"I don't see how you think I'm beautiful. Especially after all that's happened." I admitted to him.
Spartacus turned me around and made me look into his eyes.
"It's because I know the real you that you are so beautiful. Nothing would ever change my thoughts." He said grapping my arm gently to make a point.
I looked to it before looking back to him. "I caused so much pain for our family because of those scars."
"And yet so much joy." I looked to him confused. "I would never have been able to call you husband or myself father had you not gotten the needed supplies. While I do not agree with your method of obtaining them I will admit that I would have done the same were roles reversed." I just blinked at him.
"I wish I could have recorded you actually admitting what I did is the same as you would have done." That made Spartacus laugh as he pulled me close to him.
"You do not have to hide the pain from me you know." He said and I sighed.
"I didn't want to worry anyone anymore."
"As your husband that is my job." I smiled at him. "Perhaps we should get you looked over once more."
"My thoughts exactly." I told him before stepping out of his hold. "But first we get dressed. I don't like the thought of anyone but our family seeing your chest." Spartacus laughed once more.
"Nor do I like the thought of anyone looking upon your body." After he said that I quickly transfigured my pajamas into jeans and a black T-shirt before turning Spartacus' into jeans and a similar shirt to mine only in purple.
Spartacus looked to his clothes confused before looking to me.
"This is how people of this time dress. You'll need to dress like this to fit in and to help me keep out of jail. Although that shirt still hugs your muscles more than I like but not much I can do when my husband is so big." I realized the mistake in my wording too late and rolled my eyes at his smirk. "Great that won't be dropped the rest of the day."
"You admitted it my heart." He said and I glared at him before taking his hand and leaving the room to check on the kids and make sure they were up.
Confusion entered me when I opened the door and saw there was no one within it.
I shared a look with Spartacus before we headed down stairs to find our children.
We made it to the kitchen to find Mrs. Weasley cooking.
"Have you seen the kids?" I asked her. Mrs. Weasley turned and smiled at me.
"Yes dearie they're all outside." She said. We nodded our thanks before heading towards the door.
When we made it outside we both stopped and smiled at the site of the kids chasing the rest of our large family as they kept what looked to be a ball away from the kids and they tried to get it from the one who had it before it was passed to another person.
"Well at least their energy will get out earlier than usual." I told Spartacus who nodded and looked a little relieved making me smirk at him. I took his hand and lead him towards the others and when Adam finally noticed us he left the group and leap right into my arms before reaching for Spartacus to hug him as well.
"Someone's having a rowdy morning." I told Adam as he pulled from Spartacus to look at me.
"Hermione taught us a game called 'keep away' that she used to play as a kid before she went to Hogwarts. One group keeps the ball from the other group. If someone for the other group gets the ball then the groups switch and the game continues!" he explained happily.
I smiled at my youngest and made a mental note to thank Hermione for teaching him and the others the game. "Do you want to join?" Adam asked us both. Spartacus and I shared a look before I smiled once more at our son and shook my head.
"We would love to love but we need to find Albus and Snape so we can talk about the plan. Maybe once everything is settled you guys can teach us how to play?" I offered. Adam pouted for a second but nodded his approval at the idea before asking to be put down.
"I saw both head for the fireplace earlier and step through it. I still want to know how they can walk in fire and not get burnt." He said and I laughed at that.
"I'll explain later I promise. For now go back to playing and we'll hurry up with the getting everything settled so we can spend time with you and your brother." Adam smiled before turning and running off to join the others who had stopped long enough to watch us. When Adam made it back to the group they went back to playing although Crixus and Agron left the group to join us.
"Are you planning on taking that potion now?" Agron asked.
"First Harry must looked at once more. It appears he has not fully healed." Spartacus said causing both to instantly look me over.
"I'm okay you over protective brutes!" I laughed gently pushing them off me.
"We shall join you. They have plenty members for their game." Crixus said as Agron nodded.
I sighed yet let them follow mostly because I knew there was no changing their minds over it.
As we entered the living room Albus suddenly came out of the fireplace followed immediately by Snape.
"Ah Harry my boy just the one we were coming to see! Severus has just finished the potion. Whenever you are ready you may take the potion then we will head for the Ministry." Albus said and I nodded at him.
"But first I need to be looked over again. It would seem some of my ribs are still bothering me some and my stomach is rather bad looking." I told him.
"The soreness is from not having a strong enough potion when I made it before. Giving you another one wouldn't do much but I suppose I could give you a potion to help rid you of the soreness. As for your stomach Pomfrey will have to check you over for that. I could go get her now if you wish Headmaster." Snape said though did not seem all that happy to be helping me.
I glared at the man yet said nothing as Albus spoke.
"Please do so Severus. I would hate for Harry to be any more uncomfortable than he is now." Snape nodded before turning and walking once more into the fire and disappeared. (You all know how this works. Apart from telling the rebels quickly how it works I'm not going to constantly say the steps the people do when flooing)
"How is it you are able to walk upon fire and not get burnt?" Agron asked looking mostly to me.
"It's called floo. It's just a way for us to get from one place to another. You get into the fireplace and the powder Snape had in his hands is thrown down after you say the place you wish to go. Be sure to speak clearly though or else it'll take you somewhere else. I learned that the hard way." I said shivering at the thought.
"That still does not explain how the fire does not burn once it surrounds a person." Crixus said and I just shrugged.
"Magic. That's really the only reason I can give." Crixus accepted that answer and we turned to Albus when he spoke.
"Will you be joining us at the Ministry? I'm so sure Harry would like the support."
"I will be attending. The rest of our family shall remain with the children to keep them busy." Spartacus said wrapping his arm around me.
"We could also attend if Harry wishes it. The others are more than able to protect this place." Crixus said as he and Agron looked to me.
I looked between them before slowly nodding.
"I'm not looking forward to this at all. Having my husband and you two there will help. You can't be with me but knowing you're close by would be nice." I admitted to them really wanting the two who have been with me nearly as long as Spartacus has been to be at my side as well.
"Then it is decided. The three of shall attend to offer support to our brother." Agron said and I smiled at him.
"You also do not have to do this as well. We can force them to find a better path." Spartacus said clearly not carrying Albus was right there.
I smiled up at my husband before kissing his shoulder. "Oh trust me knowing this lot there are a few other ways to get to Voldemort but they always want to take the faster and easiest path for them. While I don't like anything about this plan it will get us done quicker and we can finally be rid of this time and go home." I told him.
"Harry my boy I promise you if there were any other way I would rather use it than force you to do something you don-."
"Save it Albus I've heard every excuse you can possibly come up with and they won't work on me like they used to. You may have needed to think a little longer but I am more than sure there are other ways to get this done. But there is no point in arguing or to keep bringing it up. The plan has already been decided so we all need to drop the matter now and move on." I told everyone in the room.
Mostly to the three brutes standing by me. They are not known for dropping issues they don't like or agree with.
Albus sighed but nodded as did the others.
Luckily Snape showed back up followed by Pomfrey leaving no room for an awkward silence to fall over us.
"Harry!" suddenly I was being crushed in the woman's arms.
"N-nice to see you too Promfrey! I-I can't breathe though!" I managed to get out.
"Oh dear I'm so sorry!" she exclaimed before letting me go so I could take in a deep breath.
"Now then why don't you go sit in the chair over there and I will quickly check you over." She said and I moved to the chair she pointed at and as soon as I was sitting down she waved her wand over me and we waited for the results to appear.
A few moments later a scroll unrolled and showed the words upon it.
Promfrey read it quietly with a frown.
"Thankfully Severus gave me a summary of your injuries to help me figure out what is needed. It does appear your bones have healed nicely. We can give you a potion to help get rid of the soreness you're feeling in the ribs. He also mentioned a big intake of smoke. Tell me dear are you having issues breathing?" she asked looking to me.
"Uh, no?" I tried looking around at the people in the room. Seeing my family glaring at me I sighed. "Okay, fine, it is a little hard to breath but not to the point that I was going to bring it up. I'm well aware of how much I took in, probably better than anyone else considering where I was at the time, so I figured it'd be a little harder to breath. But it's not like it hurts to breath. Just feels like I can't take a deep enough breath at times." I said finally allowing myself to take in a deep breath that my body has been trying to force me to take for the last few minutes.
"Love you must tell us when issues such as this occur." Spartacus said I just took his hand and kissed it as an apology before looking back to Pomfrey who sighed.
"Yes, well, I can also give you a potion for that. However, we will have to give you that first then in a few hours the potion for the soreness. You can't take both together or else it'll make you very sick. Because of the breathing problems I'm deeming that a bit more important than the soreness. Can't have you fainting on us due to lack of proper breathing." She said and wrote stuff down on a parchment she summoned up.
"Now then, it does appear Severus did a good job healing you despite not having proper tools or training. All the minor bruising and cuts have all healed up except for the deep bruising on your….uh….hips," here she looked to me and I just tightened my hold on Spartacus' hand and refused to speak, "and your stomach which has everyone the most worried correct?" I nodded at her question.
"Well, according to this parchment whatever injury you received damaged a lot of the muscle tissue and even damaged some of the organs in the area. There seems to even be nerve damage which does explain why it bothers you even now. It also says that it got badly infected at one point and that Adam pushing on the area when you carried him put a lot of strain on the damaged muscles, nerves, and injured shouldn't be alive if I go based off this." She said astounded.
"Yeah, well, I've proven I'm not the best at dying when I should." I mumbled causing most to laugh.
"Can he be cured?" Spartacus asked and I looked up at Pomfrey.
She seemed hesitant for a moment before nodding. "He could, but it would cause a lot of pain and you'd probably pass out. We could get your breathing under control first so that's not a worry then deal with you soreness before giving you the potion."
"So would the plan have to be postponed?" I asked.
"If we go this route then yes. I personally would like you to be completely healthy before being deaged to avoid any possible risks that could cause." Here she looked to Albus who seemed to be lost in thought.
"Yes I would rather Harry be healthy as well. I did not put into consideration his condition when making the plan unfortunately and I am sorry for that. Luckily we have not gone to the Ministry with your return yet so there won't be any issues with the plan. Let's get Harry healed and when you have cleared him we will go to the Ministry." I glared at him then.
"Good to know my health won't be a bother to you and your plan." Albus only sighed at that.
"Well then I suppose I will go make all the potions needed for Potter and return once they're all finished." Snape said before turning to floo back to Hogwarts.
"Well then I suppose we should go back to the family and let them know nothing is happening at least for the next week I'd say. I won't complain. It's a little longer where I don't have to be the Harry Potter again." I said bitterly bringing Spartacus' hand up to kiss when he offered it to me.
"The difference this time is you will have all of us." Agron said and I smiled and him and Crixus.
"Just having you all here is enough to get me through this." I told him truly happy I have my family here even if they're at risk of a mad man getting them.
Then again they were the leading rebels of the war….
"Lunch is finished! Come and get a plate!" Mrs. Weasley called from the kitchen bringing me from my thoughts.
"Let's go eat." I told the others before leading them back downstairs.
When we arrived the rest of the rather large group of people were already taking seats and Adam was hoping between them like he was trying to pick the perfect seat.
"Adam don't hope on the seats. Come seat by your brother over here." I said patting the seat by Caius as Spartacus took a seat beside him.
"Fine." Adam mumbled before running around the table and literally leaping into his seat.
Making me smack the back of his head.
"Ow!"
"Next time don't be a brat and that won't happen." I said indifferently and ignoring the tongue Adam sent my way as I sat beside him.
"Listen to your mother Adam." Spartacus warned and Adam bowed his head.
"Yes father. Sorry mother." I smiled at him before leaning over to kiss his head.
"Ew mother!" he whined wiping at his head.
I laughed at him. "You didn't seem to mind it when the last few days." I reminded him and he blushed.
"Well it'd been so long since I saw you I thought I'd let you have your way for a bit." He said trying to sound tough.
"Uh huh." I said clearly not believing him as I filled his plate.
"Mother I can do it!" Adam exclaimed before taking the spoon from me and digging into the mashed potatoes.
"I side with Adam. A man must eventually end the sweet touches of a mother if he wishes to be taken seriously." Gannicus said.
"See uncle gets it!" Adam said as he handed the spoon to his brother.
"Adam!" Spartacus growled.
"No love it's okay. Gannicus is right. Adam is a big boy and can take care of himself now. So from now on I'll just let him be." I said shrugging.
"Uh, you mean like, not talk to me or help me out?" Adam asked and I fought to hide my smirk as I shrugged.
"Your uncle and you seem to think it's time for you to be a man. A man doesn't need his mother to care for him. That will be the job of your chosen partner. You will take care of each other. I will simply help care for grandchildren. Right Spartacus?" I asked and he seemed to finally catch on.
"Your mother is right. From now on you're a man and therefore you no longer need our aid. I shall allow your uncles to teach you in ways of the warrior and I shall continue your teachings of the farm." He said as he bit into his chicken.
I glanced over slightly to see Adam getting worried looking.
"Uh, maybe I'm not quite ready yet?" he offered.
"I don't know. I mean you did help save your father and I and you have your magic. You also can prepare your own plate. I'll help you get the magic under control but other than that you are a man now. So no more tucking you in at night and no more preparing snacks. I will also watch my need to hug and kiss you. Can't have you embarrassed now can we?" I asked and looked to my family as they held back their laughs.
Adam seemed to pale and looked back to the spoon Caius had given back, I'm surprised he's been able to stay quiet this whole time, before shoving it back at me only for me to have to duck as it tried to take my head off as it got stuck in the wall behind me.
I looked to it before looking to Adam who was busy apologizing over and over.
"Well that's the first outburst in a while." I told him surprised.
"It-it seems to be easier to control when I'm completely focused on something else. But it still acts up." He said then looked to me through his bangs. "Are you really going to back off?" he asked and I shrugged.
"Do you want us to?" he quickly shook his head.
"No! No I still very much need you both!" I smiled at him before pulling him into my side.
"Good because I didn't plan on going anywhere and neither does your father."
"Do I still get snacks and tucked in?" he asked and the family did laugh then.
"That was tortuous to watch! I believe you got the poor boy to believe in your words!" Nasir said through laughs.
"Well he was being a brat so we had to teach him a lesson!" I said before looking back to Adam and smiling. "I will continue to tuck you in and make snacks as long as you wish." I promised him.
Adam smiled before snuggling into my side. "Good." He said and I smiled down at him before leaning down to kiss the top of his head then looked to his brother and placing a hand on top of his.
"You're so good with Adam. With both of them." Mrs. Weasley said reminding me it wasn't just our family in the room.
"Thank you." I told her before sitting Adam up so I could prepare his plate again.
This time with no complaints.
Lunch went on like normal after that incident and when it was over Mrs. Weasley waved her wand and the dishes started to clean themselves as Albus spoke about what Pomfrey said earlier.
"So the plan is on hold for now? Good I was hoping he'd get checked before we did anything." Sirius said and I just looked to him.
"I personally like the thought of feeling healthy again. And the thought of finally having my stomach fully heal is something I really look forward to." I said as my family nodded in agreement.
"While the potion will heal it a great deal I don't think it'll ever be fully healed. It's been too long since the wound was created. Had you gotten the potion not too long afterwards then that would be a different story. I'm so sorry my dear boy it will heal but never fully and you probably won't be able to have another child as I'm sure you guessed. Adam here is a true miracle. You shouldn't have been able to conceive him much less carry to term and give birth. By all rights neither of you should be-."
"Shut up!" I growled as I stood and slammed my hands on the table as I looked at Pomfrey.
The whole table shook and even some of the glasses broke as I continued to glare at the now very scared looking woman.
"You had no right to say any of that!" I growled before looking down to a confused looking Adam who had touched my arm.
"What does she mean mother?" I looked into his face and seeing the confusion, worry, and sadness there my anger only grew as I looked back at the woman.
"I-I'm sorry my dear boy! I was only saying what I observed. I didn't know that Adam had no id-."
"Even if he knew do you really think I want him to hear any of that?! That I want Caius to hear it?! What is it with you people and keeping secrets from kids that you shouldn't and speaking the ones that should stay secret?!"
"My heart calm down." Spartacus said as he stood and wrapped an arm around my waist. "Caius take your brother and the other children outside to play. We shall join shortly." He said to our oldest who nodded as he stood and gently pried Adam from me and motioned for the other two to follow as they rushed outside.
Once they were gone Spartacus looked to the woman with a glare.
"We never planned on telling Adam the truth! My heart did have a difficult pregnancy near the end and nearly lost his life bringing Adam into this world. Adam has asked for a sibling on more than one occasion yet we always told him it was no longer possible. That his mother was only able to have one child. It was a partial truth that Adam hated yet accepted. Now the child will have thoughts no one his age should!"
"You never want to be in the dark why would you have you son be?" Ron asked and I turned a glare to him.
"I was forced to be the leader of a war I wanted nothing to do with at the age eleven! Of course I don't want to be told what I can and can't do without fucking answers!" that made Ron flinch and look from me. "Adam is only eight and he already learned so much about our war from these idiots beside me; I don't want him to learn any more than he has to now! When I feel like he's old enough to probably understand everything is when I plan on telling him anything I haven't now! Right now he knows what he needs to for a boy his age!"
"But wouldn't it be better for him to know everything sooner? He is smart for his age he could probably handle it." Hermione said.
"My son is smart even for being eight years old yet don't forget HE IS ONLY EIGHT! Your guys favorite thing to forget when I was here was my age and I'll be damned if that happens to him! Yes he's smart for his age but if you've not noticed he does still think and act like an eight year old!" more dishes suddenly shattered causing most to duck so they wouldn't get hit with glass.
All went silent for a moment as I took a calming breath and glared around the table.
"Now I'm going to go check on my children and make sure they're okay. I'll leave you lot to do whatever it is you want.
With that I stormed off towards the back door with Spartacus not far behind.
Caius' POV:
Felix kept Ennius busy by tossing a ball to him as I kept gaze upon my own brother.
He was sitting upon the ground clearly lost in thought with an expression that I could not read.
Sighing I moved to sit by him as I thought of what it was I should tell the boy.
"Adam do not take sure words to heart." Was the only thing I could think of the moment.
"That lady said it's a miracle that I was even born. That mother shouldn't have been able to have me. That he should've died given birth to me. It is my fault mother can't bear another child?" he asked looking to me with wide eyes clearly looking for an answering proving his words wrong.
"Of course it is not your fault brother. Pregnancies in our time are hard even on healthy women. There are many who die during childbirth and sometimes the child does not survive as well. That does not make either the mother or child at fault. No one can control a situation as horrid as that. Sometimes it is best to not risk another pregnancy after one was successful. Yet pregnancies are even harder to control unfortunately." I said as I watched my words sink in.
I moved closer and wrapped my arm around his shoulder. "If you are a miracle so what? You are a miracle to mother and father. Mother is from this time which is thousands of years from ours. They should never have met. Yet they did and you were the proof of their love. Many children are miracles for their parents. Many get told they cannot or should not have children. Yet they are able. Being called a miracle is never a bad thing to be called." I assured him and he actually smiled brightly at me.
"I guess that makes since. I always wondered why mother and father never had another child. They always told me mother was not able to have another. I just figured his magic would not allow it. Which I guess is also a partial truth." I nodded at his words.
"I am sure mother and father planned on telling you when they felt you ready for the news. Even I found the words shocking and I am older. I cannot imagine hearing them at your age."
"I may be young but I am smart." He retorted and I laughed.
"That I have caught onto rather quickly. Yet never forget your age. It is okay to act as such." Adam went quiet again and we both looked to Felix and Ennius as they came to join us.
"Mother's only ever think of their children when such secrets are kept. They wish to avoid the confused pain it will cause." Felix said.
"Father's too." Ennius added.
Adam looked between us all before sighing. "It makes since, it really does, but it doesn't make learning it any easier."
"I would be surprised if it did." I told him pulled closer to my side.
"Let them explain their story. I am sure that will help clear mind of doubts." I told him and he nodded at my words.
"Adam," we all turned to see mother and father standing there and mother had a soft smile on his face and sadness within his eyes, "wanna talk?" Adam sighed before breaking from my hold and we both stood to go to our parents.
Father placed a hand upon my shoulder causing me to look at me. "You and I shall go stand elsewhere. Right now Adam needs to hear what his mother has to say." I nodded my underst1anding and followed father away from the others.
"We heard everything you said to Adam." Father said I looked up to see a gentle smile upon his face. "I must thank you for them. Your mother did not know what to say to your brother and you aided in saying what he felt he could not correctly. You are a special boy Caius." I blushed at the compliment.
"I merely wished to calm my brother down. I have not been a part of this family for long yet I am beyond grateful to have been accepted and do not wish to see any within the family in pain." I admitted.
Father wrapped a strong arm around my shoulders and pulled me closer to his side causing me to gaze up at him.
"You do not have to prove yourself. You are our son and that will never change. You no longer need to fear tomorrow and we will protect and love you no matter what." He said and I smiled at him as I nodded.
"Now then, why don't I start teaching you the ways of the sword? You are far old enough and I do not wish you to be anywhere near danger and unable to protect yourself." I nodded once more at him and accepted the wooden sword Albus conjured up for us before he left so that my family could continue their training.
"Prepare yourself." I nodded and got ready for father's attack.
Adam's POV:
Mother and I sat on the ground watching father and Caius train in silence for a few moments before mother sighed.
"I'm sorry we never told you love." He finally said.
I stayed quiet for a moment longer before sighing as well. "I'm not angry. I just don't know how to take those words."
"You shouldn't have heard them until you were old enough." Mother said with a slight growl.
"That lady didn't mean to say it I'm sure."
"Her name's Madam Pomfrey and it doesn't matter if she meant to or not honey. The point is she knew there were kids in the room and chose to speak about the subject anyways. Especially when two of those kids are my children. She should have waited until you weren't within ear shot." He said and I looked to him.
"You always get mad when people keep you in the dark. Why keep me in it?" mother moved closer and pushed the hair from my face.
"I never meant to keep you in the dark Adam. Your father and I told you what we felt you could handle and I have every intention of telling you when you were old enough to understand. That it was never your fault." I tried to look from him but he held my face within his hands.
"You are our miracle Adam. It's not because we both survived my pregnancy or because I should never have been able to carry you much less to term. You're not even our miracle because of the massive era gap between your father and me." I looked to him confused.
"Then how am I your miracle?" mother smiled.
"Because you're ours. You brought joy into our life. You brought us peace we never thought we'd have and you're the physical proof of our love. Which I know you've heard once or twice." I laughed at that and nodded.
"The best miracle is love and you represent that. That makes you our miracle." That made me smile as I moved closer to him.
"And the part about you not being able to have another child?" I asked and he sighed.
"That part is true. My pregnancy with you was fine the first six months, but as it got closer to you being born it put too much strain on me. And on you too I'm sure. Luckily I was able to deliver you without problems but the others almost couldn't stop the bleeding. But they did and I'm perfectly fine." He said and I looked down.
"But having me caused so many issues for you that you can't even have another child now."
"Well I did have another child. I have Caius now." He said and I looked to him. "And I would never change having you. You brought so much joy into our lives and we love you so much."
"But-."
"So what if I can't have another child? Your father and I have you and your brother now. I couldn't ask for better sons." I smiled at that and moved to hug him tightly.
"Thank you." I told him.
"Thank your brother. He helped sum up everything I was planning on telling you. I had no idea how to do it myself." I laughed at that as I cuddled more into mother with a sigh.
"These people don't always think do they?" I asked.
"No, my child, they do not. It's been known to cause suffering." He said and I just sighed at that.
Mother pulled back and smiled at me as he pushed the hair from my face. "Now then, why don't you go and watch your father and brother train while I go deal with somethings."
"What kind of things?" I asked.
"Just changes to the plan. There's a chance it'll be pushed back a few days." He said and I nodded as we both stood.
"What of the others?" I asked.
"Well your aunts were busy trying to stop your uncles from attacking the whole table last I checked. Hopefully they succeeded and are busy doing other things by now." I smiled at the thought as mother hugged me once more before turning back to the house while I went to join Father and Caius.
Harry's POV:
"How is my nephew?" I turned at the question and saw Laeta walking up to me.
I sighed. "Surprisingly okay. I was expecting to deal with a screaming and yelling child. Instead Caius got to him first and helped me by calming him down before I could even talk to him."
"Caius is truly a blessing." I smiled fondly at the thought and nodded.
"That he is. For a child to have gone through all he has in his life yet welcome the idea of a family and even get into his role of an older brother so easily is amazing."
"Well his mother must have taught him a thing or two." She joked and I laughed.
"Where're the others?" I asked her and she sighed this time.
"Neavia and Nasir managed to get them out of the room and back upstairs where they may calm themselves properly." I nodded at her before looking to the stairs.
"And those of this time?"
"Must have also gone upstairs." I nodded at that and started up the stairs with Laeta not too far behind.
When I got up them I saw most of those from this time in the living room seeming to be in a meeting.
When Mrs. Weasley saw me she stood making everyone look to me as well.
"How is Adam?" Mrs. Weasley asked.
"He's fine no thanks to you guys." I told her as she looked down and sat back beside Mr. Weasley. "Now then, are the potions ready?" this time I looked to Snape who must have returned while I was talking to Adam.
"They are. If you wish you may go on and take the potion for your breathing then tonight the one for your soreness. Tomorrow morning it should be alright to take the potion to help with your stomach wound." (Too lazy to think of potion names. The important thing is knowing what each will do)
"Don't you want to wait for Spartacus and the others?" Remus asked and I shook my head.
"Right now it's only the potion for my breathing and later the one to help with the soreness. Nothing too major for them to need to be here for. It'll take no time to take the potion anyways. Once I'm done here I'm going to check on the rest of my family." I told him making him nod at my response.
"Very well then. Here is your potion Potter." Snape said holding the bottle out.
I took it from the man the quickly downed it after removing the stopper so I didn't have to taste much of the bitter liquid.
"Forgot how unpleasant it was to take these things." I said with a shiver as Sirius took the empty bottle for me.
"Are you well brother?" Laeta asked and I smiled at her.
"I'm fine. It just didn't taste good is all." She nodded at me and I moved her towards the stairs so we could find our family.
"Harry," I paused and looked back to see Pomfrey looking at me with sad eyes, "I just wanted to apologize again for saying what I did in front of Adam." I only nodded at the woman before starting up the stairs again.
"Perhaps you are too hard on these people?" I turned to look at Laeta as she spoke. "They have all made attempt to gain your forgiveness after all."
"Yet they still said what they did in front of my son. And that aside after what I went through it will take more than a few apologizes to make up for what happened. And I don't honestly think they ever could." She nodded her understanding then and we continued up the stairs.
We found our family in the room that Agron and Nasir share and they all stood when they saw me enter.
"How is the boy?" Crixus asked and I smiled and told them all what I told Laeta.
"Such an amazing boy." Agron said with clear pride in his eyes for his newest nephew. I smiled at the look.
"Were you given proper potion to aid in your breathing?" Crixus asked and I nodded.
"I just took it in fact. I can take the one to help with my soreness tonight then it should be okay to take the one for my stomach in the morning." They all nodded at that. "In the meantime Spartacus is training Caius with swords for those who wish to join." I said and laughed as Agron, Gannicus, Nasir, and Crixus along with Cornelius' men all rushing out of the room towards my husband and sons.
The rest in the room laughed as well as I turned back to them.
"Well I suppose we should just join them?" I asked and they all nodded as we once more headed for the backyard.
When we arrived Spartacus stopped long enough to come over to me for a quick kiss.
"Were you given potion?" he asked and I nodded telling him what Snape told me earlier.
Spartacus nodded before kissing me once more then smirking. "Perhaps Caius will learn quicker if his parents offer demonstration of a battle." I let out a smirk myself.
"I don't think he'll benefit from learning defeat from his father." I said causing the others to react to my callout.
"It appears skills have gone to head." He said and I summoned two swords while still smirking.
"Wanna try your luck then?" Spartacus laughed and we moved back to where the others were training and got into our fighting stance.
"Well it looks like we made it with just enough time to see Harry in action. It was kinda hard to focus when we were fighting for our lives." We all looked to see pretty much everyone from this time coming over to us.
I sighed a little in annoyance before turning to my sons.
"I apologize ahead of time for watching your father lose badly in front of you guys. Do make sure to learn from the mistakes he'll make Caius." Both boys laughed as Caius nodded.
"Oh my heart it is your failures he will learn from." Spartacus said.
"Whatever you say love." With that I rushed my husband.
