Behold Super Vegeta
I don't own Digimon or Dragonball Z
"Dad!" Gohan and Azumi shouted, seeing Goku reappear on the Lookout, carrying Daisuke and Piccolo in his arms. He laid both down gently before turning to his kids as they ran over.
"They're both ok, but they need a Senzu Bean right now," he told them.
"Right," Gohan said, running off, and he came back with the bag of Senzu Beans Korin had given them. He placed one in Daisuke's mouth and she slowly chewed it and swallowed, healing her injuries from her brief one-sided fight with Cell after he had become Semi-Perfect.
"Ow…I haven't been beaten this bad since Frieza on Namek. How're you holding up, Piccolo?" she asked the Namekian who had his own Senzu Bean and was now standing up, and he grunted. "Great to see your charming personality is still intact."
"Dai, what happened?" Goku asked her.
"It doesn't matter what happened. All that matters now is that Cell has absorbed one of the Androids and is that much closer to becoming complete. It's going to take a lot more power then what we have now if we want to defeat Cell, none of us can fight him alone and win. Not even Goku," Piccolo said.
"Then we'd better hope Vegeta and Trunks have finished their training," Daisuke said. Meanwhile, Krillin was flying through the sky, searching for something when he saw a jet flying towards him.
"That must be Bulma, I hope she has good news," he thought as the jet flew past him before skidding to a halt mid-air and backing up. The front of the jet opened up and he saw Bulma and Terra in a baby seat beside his mother. "Bulma, I'm glad to see you. Please tell me you've got something good to tell me."
"As a matter of fact, I do; I finished the work on the remote to shut down the Androids." She held up the remote before handing it to him.
"Thank goodness…uh, so how does it work?" he asked, looking at the remote which was simple in design. It had an antenna and a single red button.
"Well you've got to be within ten meters for it to work properly, any more then that and it won't reach them," Bulma explained, making the bald warrior gulp.
"Ten meters? That close?" he whimpered in fright.
"Be lucky I finished the remote at all," Bulma told him with a frown before cooing to calm Terra as he began to cry. "Now here is your new battle suit I made, I've got to give the others theirs as well," she added, handing a small capsule to Krillin who blinked.
"Uh thanks, we're gonna need them. Head over to Kami's place to give the others theirs, that's where they all went to try and find a way to beat Cell in case this doesn't work," he told her.
"Of course it will work, but I can get to the Lookout easily enough. Good luck, Krillin," she replied, and Krillin waved to her and Terra before the jet blasted off, heading for the lookout.
"Thanks, I'm gonna need all the luck I can have," he thought, looking at the remote. "The fate of the world is in my hands now." He flew off to find Android 18 and 16.
Meanwhile, back at the lookout, the door to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber slowly began to open in front of Pan and Mr Popo who gasped, and Pan ran off to get the others. "Guys, hey! Trunks and Vegeta are finished with their training!"
"About time," Daisuke said, relieved, walking towards the chamber with the others. The door finally opened all the way and Trunks and Vegeta walked out slowly. Both their outfits were in tatters and Trunks' hair was longer and done up in a small ponytail.
"Good to see you're alright. You guys must be a lot stronger," Goku said with a smile, and Trunks nodded.
"Don't speak of anything we did in there boy," Vegeta said quickly, making his son from the future frown at him. "It is not for anyone to know, since there will be no need for them to train now," he added, arrogantly.
"Oh please, don't tell me he thinks he can beat Cell all by himself," Daisuke mumbled, rubbing her forehead.
"You have no idea what you're up against, Cell absorbed one of the Androids already," Piccolo informed the arrogant prince who continued smirking while Trunks gained a look of worry and also anger.
"Just because he may be too strong for all of you now, he will be no match for me. I will finish this myself."
"Just listen to yourself, you said the same thing on Namek against Frieza, and he wiped the floor with you and killed you once he was finished. If the same thing happens again because you're too arrogant to see you'll need our help for this fight, we won't bother summoning Shenron to bring you back to life," Daisuke told him.
"You won't need to worry yourself, I won't lose," Vegeta replied, making her growl in annoyance. Before the tension could escalate any higher, the sound of a jet engine made everyone turn and see Bulma's jet landing on the lookout. Everyone walked over to meet her as she hopped out of the jet with Terra in her arms.
"Hey guys," she greeted with a smile and Terra began happily babbling as Gohan and Azumi walked over.
"Hey there," Azumi cooed, taking Terra in her arms, and she smiled at the baby who giggled and tugged at her hair. "Ow, hey, be nice," she said with a smile as Terra babbled and began chewing on her hair, which made Gohan laugh.
"It means he likes you," Daisuke told her daughter as she helped free her daughter's hair from Terra. "So what're you doing here, Bulma?" she asked, turning to her friend.
"Krillin told me you guys were here, I've got something to give you," Bulma said, taking out a capsule, and she opened it before tossing it behind her. In a cloud of orange smoke, a large crate appeared. "New battle suits."
A couple of minutes later, Gohan and Goku were putting on their suits along with Vegeta, Trunks, Azumi, and Pan. The outfits all resembled what Vegeta normally wore. "This is just like the battle armour on Namek." Gohan said as Azumi stumbled while putting her boots on. She tripped, but Trunks caught her and smiled, making her blush slightly. Thankfully nobody noticed…except her mother, who had a small smirk.
"Oh…very interesting," she thought, pulling out another combat suit. "Do you think I need to wear this, Goku? I mean, does this handle my transformations?" she asked her husband who shrugged.
"I based them off Vegeta's old Saiyan armour, those could handle their wear turning into giant apes. Though I haven't tested it for your kind of transformations," Bulma answered, scratching her chin.
"Well we'll find out when we get inside the time chamber," Daisuke replied, walking off to change.
"I will not dress like a Saiyan," Piccolo muttered.
"It would be a waste of time anyway. Now that I am the strongest Saiyan this world has ever known, I will be done with Cell and the other Androids in no time," Vegeta said before he flew off heading to find Cell.
"What an ego," Bulma muttered as Terra babbled. "Yeah I know, if you start acting like him when you're older you'll be grounded for life," she warned her child who babbled innocently and began trying to eat his foot.
"I'll go after him, make sure he doesn't get himself killed," Trunks told the others as Goku tossed him two Senzu Beans.
"You'll need these just in case," he told the Half-Saiyan who nodded before pocketing the beans and flying off the lookout after his father. "Alright Gohan, it's time we begin training," Goku said before his stomach growled. "Um…after lunch," he added sheepishly, making everyone groan.
"Mr Popo?" Gohan asked, and the attendant to Kami's lookout nodded. Soon Goku was stuffing his face with food while Gohan ate a lot slower. "Um, you should slow down dad before you choke," he warned his father who didn't listen until he began coughing and holding his throat. "Told you." Daisuke, who had changed into her combat suit, walked up behind her husband and slammed her elbow into his back, making him cough up the food and he took several deep breaths.
"Honestly, you'd lose your head if it wasn't attached. Even then you'd probably somehow lose it," Daisuke muttered. Goku chuckled sheepishly before looking at Dai, and he blushed as her outfit hugged her figure. "Something you like?" she purred, making the Saiyan's blush intensify. "Now I think you've had enough food, time for training," she told him and her son who nodded.
"Get really strong, Gohan, we can't slack off when it comes to Cell," Azumi said, hugging her brother who hugged back.
"Don't worry about me. You just train really hard when it's your turn," he replied before walking off to the time chamber with Goku who stopped, grabbed an apple, and swallowed it whole and grinned.
"Goku!" Daisuke shouted, making him run off to the Time Chamber quickly. A few minutes later, Gohan and Goku walked into the Time Chamber and Gohan's eyes widened in awe.
"Whoa…there's nothing out there," he whispered, looking out into the endless void that was the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.
"Yep. All the room we need to train, just don't go too far for now. You're not used to the intense gravity like I am," Goku said with a smile. Gohan stepped out of the living area and onto the white expanse and immediately his knees buckled and he struggled to remained standing.
"If I'm gonna get stronger, I'm gonna need to get used to it fast." Goku smiled and nodded.
"Ok, let's start off slow with punches and kicks," he instructed, and Gohan nodded as the year of training began.
Meanwhile, Cell was flying across the ocean and above a large chain of islands as he searched for the Androids. "They cannot have gotten far, they just couldn't have. I'll find them eventually," he thought before flying into the air and he growled. "Android 18 come out right now! If you do not, I will find you eventually; you are only prolonging the inevitability of you and I becoming one! Join me like your brother did, or I will destroy all these islands to find you!" he shouted, loud enough for every person on every nearby island to hear him.
"Oh great," Android 18 muttered as she and Android 16 hid on an island.
"Do not fear, 18, Cell will not destroy these islands. He wants you alive and will not risk your destruction," Android 16 assured her, though his thoughts were proven wrong when a large red sphere of energy flew down towards a nearby island and the blast expanded until the entire island was destroyed.
"You were saying?" Android 18 asked him. "We've got to get out of here now, before he hits us."
"No. It would be unwise to flee, that is what Cell wants. And it is unlikely he will use enough power to destroy you, he will only use enough power to destroy the island and all other life on it while you will be spared," Android 16 replied.
"But I thought you cared about other life and all that stuff," Android 18 said, but the giant android remained silent. She frowned, watching as Cell destroyed more islands around them.
"Why is Cell doing this, he has more power than anyone on this planet. What is the point of all this destruction?" Android 16 thought to himself, watching as another island was destroyed. Unknown to Cell, thanks to his destruction of the islands, it was exactly what Vegeta needed to find him.
"It seems the fireworks have begun, I'd best not keep Cell waiting," he thought, flying off at breakneck speed with Trunks not far behind him.
"Hold on Father, I won't let you fight alone," he thought, determined to aid Vegeta as both went Super Saiyan as they continued towards Cell.
"I did not travel this far back in time to be stopped now. I would have been complete by now, if Daisuke didn't get in my way. I'll make her suffer when I become complete, there will be room for only one android on this planet," Cell growled as he fired another energy blast down at an island, destroying it. "Nothing again. They could be hiding underwater, but they're not smart enough to try that." Frustrated with his lack of progress, he began snap-vanishing from island to island, destroying them as he went, but still he saw no sign of the Androids. "Damn it all!" he roared as he fired more energy blasts down at the last of the islands, destroying them all as Android 18 and 16 watched on.
"Cell is at the next island!" Android 18 shouted.
"Stay still, if we hold our position and remain silent he will not see us," Android 16 told her.
"One last island, they have to be down there," Cell thought, flying over to the island, and he hovered above, looking for the Androids. "Last chance. Come out now!" he demanded as he prepared one final blast. Android 18 crossed her arms in front of her out of instinct even as Cell smirked, but before he could fire the energy blast, he sensed someone approaching. He turned to the side and saw Vegeta flying towards him before he stood right in front of Cell.
"At last we meet," the Saiyan Prince declared before he and Cell began floating down to the island.
"Who is that with Cell?" Android 18 whispered, running off to where the two landed, and her eyes widened at who she saw. "Vegeta, what is he doing here?"
"I cannot believe that my noble cells are inside your body. How could you turn out to be so ugly?" Vegeta asked, looking at Cell in disgust while the bio-android simply chuckled.
"You should feel honoured to be part of my being. I am the strongest in the universe."
"That's where you're wrong. I am the strongest, and I will prove it. Just look at me, I have changed."
"I will wipe that smug smirk off your face. There is no way you are as strong as you say you are," Cell said before he saw Trunks in the distance before the time traveller landed behind Vegeta. "So, Trunks is here as well. My my, it seems he has changed as well. Will the others be joining us?"
"Don't mind the boy. He's just here to witness your defeat at my hands. There will be no interruptions," Vegeta said.
"So you intend to fight me alone? Are you truly that confident in your abilities?" Cell asked him.
"Yes I am. Defeating you will be easy."
"I applaud your determination," Cell said, chuckling, as Android 18 watched the exchange of words from behind a tree.
"I agree with Cell, Vegeta barely survived our fight and now he's fighting someone a lot stronger," she thought while Android 16 watched in silence. "Come on, we should go now while Cell's busy." He turned to his fellow android and shook his head.
"Stay here until they begin fighting. Vegeta has changed since the last time, he may have a chance."
"Are you sure about that?" she asked, concerned, before turning back to the fight. Vegeta cracked his knuckles and smirked before he flared his Ki, and he began powering up even further.
"Prepare yourself Cell, for a power that you have never come across before," he warned Cell before giving off a roar as the golden aura began growing larger and his hair began waving wildly.
"What on earth…" Daisuke whispered, running to the edge of the lookout with the others. "Vegeta's energy is rising…and it's showing no signs of stopping."
"Incredible...so he did get stronger in the time chamber," Azumi said.
"It would appear so," Piccolo said. "It's up to you now Vegeta, you had better not let us down." Back on the island, the entire ground began shaking as Vegeta continued powering up, his muscles began to grow in mass, the veins on his head bulged, and with a final roar the ground beneath his feet exploded into a crater.
"That's a lot of power," Android 18 whispered.
"He did it…father ascended," Trunks whispered as the smoke cleared, allowing Cell to get a good look at his adversary and he began to tremble in fear.
"Behold, this is Super Vegeta!" the prince of all Saiyans roared, before jumping towards Cell and slamming his fist into Cell's stomach, making his eyes widen and look down at Vegeta as the rest of his body was paralysed by fear. Vegeta looked up at Cell and smirked. "Now the fight begins."
