Perfect Cell Unleashed

I don't own Digimon or Dragonball Z

"Oh don't tell me…" Daisuke whispered as she and Piccolo shared a look of shock, sensing Cell's energy soar higher then anything they had sensed before.

"Cell's absorbed Android 18. Vegeta, that fool's arrogance has doomed us all," the Namekian growled, clenching his fists.

"Yes, but blame Krillin for not using the remote; he was thinking with the brain in his trousers instead of the one in his head," Daisuke replied, pinching her nose in frustration. "Alright, as soon as Goku and Gohan are finished in the time chamber, Azumi and I are going in right away. We can't waste any time."

"You got it, mom." Azumi replied with a determined expression as Terra began to cry in Bulma's arms.

Meanwhile, in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, Gohan gritted his teeth as he threw a punch at his father, who blocked it easily before he dodged an attempt to trip him. "Stop dodging, Dad! You have to fight me!" he shouted, throwing a sphere of Ki at Goku who swatted it away and it exploded somewhere off in the void. "You can't go easy on me just because I'm your own son; Mom wouldn't."

"No, your mother would hold back, Son. Because she knows just how badly she could hurt you if she went all out. You've never fought her when she was going all out," Goku replied as he dodged a few more strikes from his son, before kicking him in the stomach and elbowing him in the back, sending him crashing into the floor.

"I'm not going to be able to become a Super Saiyan with this constant babying. We don't have a lot of time left. This will all be for nothing if you don't go all out against me. You have to," Gohan pleaded, pulling himself to his feet slowly.

"You're not ready for my full power, Gohan." Goku said gently, only to get punched in the face by his son, who glared at him. He held his cheek and spat out some blood and sighed. With a shout, he transformed into a Super Saiyan.

"Yeah, that's it, Dad," Gohan thought, feeling the power radiating off his father.

"I hope you are ready, Son. Forgive me, Daisuke, I just hope nothing bad happens," Goku thought. He flew into the air before cupping his hands, and began charging his next attack. "Kamehameha!" he screamed, firing a large blue energy wave down at his son who held his hands up and caught the blast.

"I have to do this. I can't let everyone down," he thought, pushing the energy wave back before he formed his own energy blast in his hands. He began trying to push the Kamehameha back at Goku. "If I don't become a Super Saiyan, then everyone is going to die, I can't lose them; not after they've all gotten hurt and risked their lives to protect me!" He began thinking back to all the times he was powerless to do anything whenever his friends or family were in danger, how he would just stand there like a scared child. "Not anymore. I will become stronger, I need to become stronger!" he roared, and in a flash of golden aura, he did it; he had become a Super Saiyan, and with one final burst of energy he forced the Kamehameha back towards Goku who flew out of the way, and he watched the blast explode off in the distance.

"Wow, he did it. My son is a Super Saiyan. Not bad," he thought, turning back to look at Gohan who had fallen to his knees, panting in exhaustion. "Well done, Son. Let's take a break for a while, and maybe I'll cut your hair; it's gotten so long I might lose ya under it," he said with a chuckle, and Gohan smiled weakly and nodded.

Back on Earth, things were not good as Trunks, Android 16, Krillin, and a smirking Vegeta looked at the now complete Cell as he threw a few punches in the air and a few kicks. "Excellent," he thought.

"You monster!" Krillin shouted, flying towards Cell and he began punching and kicking. To his shock, the blows had no effect on Cell. "Okay you wanna play it that way, chew on this!" He jumped back before throwing a Destructo Disk right at Cell's neck; the attack was a direct hit. "Ha, yes!" Krillin cheered, only for his eyes to widen in horror as he saw his attack shatter while Cell remained unharmed.

"Are you finished having your fun yet?" Cell asked, looking over his shoulder at Krillin. "If so, then I believe it's my turn." And in the blink of an eye, he was right in front of Krillin. He he vanished again, only to reappear behind Krillin, and with a single kick sent the bald warrior flying across the area before he crashed into a pile of rocks.

"Krillin!" Trunks shouted, looking at his friend in shock before Krillin groaned and pulled himself up.

"Did anyone get the number of the bus that hit me? If so…I'm going to take a little nap," he said before falling over unconscious.

"No, hold on!" Trunks shouted, flying off to help him.

"Don't tell me you're satisfied by kicking around that weakling; if this is what you mean by perfect, I might as well go home," Vegeta said to Cell, unimpressed by the display.

"A shame. I was hoping you would stay. After all, I have to make you pay for earlier," Cell replied with a smirk.

"Fine, just don't complain when you lose," Vegeta said.

"Believe me, I won't be complaining when I lose. Because I don't intend to lose," Cell replied, before Vegeta charged, throwing punches at him which he blocked flawlessly and with minimum effort.

Trunks landed beside Krillin's unconscious body and flipped him over before he pulled out a Senzu Bean from his suit. "Here Krillin, take this please," he whispered, feeding the bean to Krillin who swallowed it barely before he coughed, and his eyes snapped open, making Trunks smile in relief.

"Ow…even with that Senzu Bean, it feels like all my bones have been broken," he moaned, getting to his feet. "He's a lot stronger then before, and he's hiding his true power."

"What do you mean?" Trunks asked as the two saw Vegeta and Cell head into the air, with Vegeta still trying to land a punch on Cell.

"In that split second when he kicked me, I felt his full power. Don't be fooled by anything you may sense from him, it's just a façade to throw everyone off. Vegeta is so full of himself he won't realise it until it's too late. And it's why he hasn't seen how strong you are either."

"You know?" Trunks whispered, stunned.

"It's not that hard to not notice. So tell me why you've not jumped into the fight and finished Cell off already. It can't be out of respect for your father, can it?" Krillin asked him.

"Well no, but if I show that I'm stronger then my father, I won't ever get another chance to earn his trust," Trunks replied, and Krillin groaned.

"Why are you Saiyans always so driven by pride?" he asked as the two saw Vegeta and Cell land on two cliffs, facing off against each other before they sprung into battle again.

Back at the lookout, Daisuke narrowed her eyes. "This makes no sense. Vegeta and Cell appear to be evenly matched, but I can sense Cell has more power then he's letting on. He's toying with Vegeta."

"Agreed. He probably wants to show off his new power once he's grown bored of Vegeta," Piccolo said.

"I just hope that Goku and Gohan are making progress," Daisuke said, glancing back at the Hyperbolic Time Chamber where inside Goku and Gohan, who now had shorter hair styled much like his father's, were both sparring as Super Saiyans.

Back with the battle between Cell and Vegeta, Cell smirked as he flew into the air, dodging energy blasts Vegeta fired into the air at him, and he hovered before looking up to see the blasts that had missed him now were falling back down towards him as Vegeta launched another salvo of blasts. All of them made contact, exploding and covering Cell in a thick field of smoke. Vegeta flew into the air and watched the smoke clear and saw, to his shock, Cell was gone.

"A most impressive display," a voice behind him said mockingly, and he turned around to glare at Cell.

"How dare you mock me!" he shouted, charging Cell and throwing more punches at the android who continued blocking the blows easily. Cell grabbed both his arms before jumping back when Vegeta tried to kick him with both feet. Vegeta righted himself and growled before he began firing more energy blasts at Cell, covering him in smoke again, only this time Vegeta flew into the smoke and saw to his anger Cell again was unscathed by the blasts. "Damn you! Galick Gun!" he roared, firing his attack at Cell who was hit by the blast, and the cloud of smoke was blown away from the force of the blast.

Again the smoke cleared, and Vegeta saw Cell had vanished. He began looking around for his adversary before he spotted him standing on the ground below.

"How could Dr Gero have created such a monster? At this rate, the world is doomed," Android 16 said grimly. Vegeta flew down towards Cell and continued throwing punches before Cell caught his fist and flipped behind the Saiyan, smirking all the time.

"Father…." Trunks whispered in shock.

"You're not taking this seriously!" Vegeta shouted at Cell who rested his hands on his hips.

"But I told you Vegeta, I'm only just warming up," he said, shocking Android 16 and Trunks.

"Just warming up…" the half-Saiyan from the future whispered.

"I told you he was hiding his true power," Krillin replied.

"Just warming up!? You can't be serious! You may have a brand-new body but inside you're still the same snivelling spineless coward you were before! If you think you're so powerful then show it!" Vegeta demanded.

"As you wish," Cell said, with a glint in his eye before he charged Vegeta, only to vanish and reappear behind him.

"I will not stand for these childish games!" the Saiyan shouted, turning, and he threw a kick and hit Cell dead on, but to his shock, Cell was unfazed by the strike.

"I don't believe it…Cell took that kick and didn't even blink," Krillin whispered in shock.

"Oh man, Vegeta is finished," Daisuke whispered from the lookout as Cell marched towards Vegeta.

"Trunks, forget what your father said, unleash your power and help him. His pride will get him killed," Krillin told him as Trunks gritted his teeth, trying to decide on if he should help his father or not.

"I put all my energy into that kick…" Vegeta whispered.

"Do you realise now what I mean by perfection? Or shall I continue to demonstrate further?" Cell asked before he kicked Vegeta in the chest, sending him flying, and he smashed through several rocks until he caught himself just above the ocean before he fell into it.

"Oh, we're so dead," Krillin mumbled.

"Father, what have you done?" Trunks thought. Vegeta pulled himself out of the water and panted heavily.

"Hm, you put up such a fuss about me not being able to put up a challenge, and now look at you. Giving up without a fight," Cell said.

"Ok Trunks, forget about your father's pride and help him out before he's fish food," Krillin told Trunks.

"I can't. I have to wait until he loses consciousness, that way he won't see how much stronger then him I've become," Trunks replied.

"Now isn't the time to be an idiot Trunks!" Krillin scolded him. "If you truly care about your father, you should be helping him."

Vegeta, meanwhile, got to his feet and glared at the smirking Cell before he began flying into the air. Cell watched intrigued as Vegeta held his arms out and began screaming. He began glowing with power, it was so intense the ocean below him began to part.

"What is he doing?" Krillin whispered, watching on in shock as he and Trunks saw the sky begin to become filled with clouds the more Vegeta charged up until he put both his hands in front of him and a yellow orb of energy began forming in front of them as lightning struck all around him.

"Cell! Once again, you've taken for granted the power of a true Saiyan warrior! Now if you really want to test your strength, stay right where you are," Vegeta said.

"So that's what he's doing. He's trying to provoke Cell into taking his attack," Trunks said.

"That's one way of looking at it. Here's another one, Vegeta's lost his mind and is about to fry us all!" Krillin screamed, frantically watching Vegeta continue charging his attack before Cell took a stance, and Vegeta laughed.

"You're going to destroy the whole planet, Father! You need to stop it!" Trunks screamed.

"Trunks, let's run!" Krillin shouted as he began running.

"FINAL FLASH!" Vegeta roared before he unleashed his charged attack directly at Cell who was confidant before his eyes widened.

"What's this!?" Cell screamed as the attack hit him before it continued its path, flying out into space where it exploded somewhere off in deep space. When the smoke finally cleared, miraculously the Earth was in one piece, but there was a giant trench in the ground and in the ocean from the force of the attack.

"Whoa…we're still in one piece," Krillin said, relieved as both had flown into the air to avoid the blast.

"Father knew what he was doing all along, he concentrated his blast only on Cell," Trunks said. Vegeta landed on the ground and smirked as the smoke around Cell began to clear.

"Did you like that?" he asked the android who was grunting in pain as the smoke fully cleared, showing Cell's entire right arm had been blown off. "I'll take that as a yes."

"You actually hit me…" Cell whispered, shocked, which caused Vegeta to begin laughing. "Stop laughing!" he screamed which only caused Vegeta to laugh harder. "You fool. Have you already forgotten that Piccolo's regenerative abilities are a part of me?" he asked, which caused Vegeta to stop laughing and Cell chuckled as a brand-new arm formed.

"No…" Krillin whispered in shock. Vegeta growled and began firing energy blasts rapidly at Cell as he advanced towards him. He kept it up until Cell appeared in front of him and punched him, sending him flying into the air. Cell then appeared above Vegeta and slammed his elbow into his back, and Vegeta was sent plummeting back into the ground. Krillin and Trunks saw his hair turn back to its normal black.

"Oh no, he's either dead or unconscious. Trunks, you'd better do something now!" Krillin urged him, and he watched in shock as Trunks began flashing gold. "What the?" he whispered before Trunks roared as he turned Super Saiyan, and his body began to bulge rapidly with power. His muscles expanded rapidly, his hair became more of a pale blonde, his eyes went void of pupils, and his aura no longer flowed but flared outwardly and more violently.

"It's been fun Vegeta, you did just enough to get me warmed up," Cell said as he landed on the ground, and was about to finish of Vegeta until he noticed Trunks powering up. "Oh what do we have here?" he mused.

"Um Trunks…is everything ok?" Krillin whispered, watching as electricity arced off Trunks' body. "Man, these Saiyans are insane, they keep getting stronger no matter what." Trunks glared at him.

"Krillin, take my father to Master Roshi's place to recover, give him this once he wakes up," he said, tossing the last Senzu Bean to Krillin. "And don't worry about me. I don't plan on needing a Senzu Bean for this fight, because I don't plan on losing." He floated to the ground.

"I wonder what Trunks has to offer me, his power has taken a sudden jump," Cell thought. "Maybe I will finally have a challenge."

"It's over Cell," Trunks growled, walking towards him, and Cell began walking over as well.

"I've heard that before. You Saiyans are like cockroaches, squash one and another crawls out to take its place. You know you will face the same fate as your father."

"I don't think so," Trunks said as the two glared at each other before their battle began. Cell tried to kick Trunks in the jaw, but he flipped back and swept Cell's leg out from under him. Cell caught himself and threw a punch, but Trunks caught it and the two vanished.

"I can't see them anywhere," Krillin said before he heard an explosion and saw Cell falling from the sky, with Trunks flying after him, and he slammed Cell into the ground with a punch. Trunks landed on the ground in front of the crater and watched as Krillin floated over the cloud of smoke.

"Krillin watch out!" Trunks screamed as an explosion from inside the cloud of smoke threw Krillin away.

"I know what you're thinking, I'm a nightmare that just won't go away. But wake up Trunks, I'm the real thing," Cell said, walking out of the smoke. "I said it before, you Saiyans don't know when to quit. You have a strong fighting spirt, I will enjoy draining you of it." The two warriors charged and vanished again before appearing just in front of Krillin, exchanging punches. Trunks grabbed Cell's fists and began pushing him down to the ground before both vanished again and continued their battle.

"Cell will destroy him!" Android 16 shouted as he watched the battle continue. They appeared in the sky again and Cell dodged Trunks' punch before he was kicked by the Saiyan and sent crashing into the ground. Trunks followed and went to strike again, but Cell blurred from sight, dodging the attack, and Trunks vanished again.

"I have to keep him away from my father," Trunks thought, landing in front of his father before he and Cell charged each other again. Cell dodged a punch before slamming his fist into Trunks' gut, making his eyes widen.

"I see you've learned all of Vegeta's moves. But let me show you how to do them properly," Cell mocked as he kicked Trunks away. Cell jumped towards him and kicked Trunks in the jaw, sending him skidding across the ground. Trunks flipped away from Cell, but Cell flew after him and kicked him in the jaw.

"Trunks, get up please," Krillin whispered before he saw Trunks glance up at him and point to Vegeta. "Oh, that must be my cue," he thought, flying over to the unconscious Vegeta as Trunks kicked Cell in the chin before jumping back.

"Offering yourself as a distraction to protect your father, what a simple plan," Cell said as he and Trunks continued punching and kicking each other while Krillin picked Vegeta up and flew off away from the battlefield.

"I don't know why Trunks cares so much about you, but I'll keep my word and get you out of here," Krillin muttered.

"Trunks, you should give up now. You will not be able to defeat me," Cell told him.

"That is what you think, you don't know how strong I have become," Trunks replied. "You want me, come and get me."

"I will, but show me more of your power first," he said, chuckling as Trunks began powering up again. "That's it, I want you at full power when I crush you."

"I don't believe it…Trunks is getting stronger then Vegeta. It looks like there are levels beyond a normal Super Saiyan," Piccolo said.

"Definitely," Azumi said in awe. "Go Trunks, kick his ass, you can do it!" she cheered.

Trunks roared as he continued powering up as electricity shot off his body, making the entire ground shake, and even islands far from him and Cell began shaking as well, which Krillin noticed.

"What's going on? Is all that lightning Trunks?" he thought, stopping and turning back to look quickly.

"Nice light show, it's a shame your father is not here to see that you have surpassed him," Cell said.

"As long as I have enough power to crush you Cell, I will not let you leave here alive. My world was destroyed by the likes of you and the other androids created by Dr Gero. Nowhere was safe from them, they sought a way to enjoy themselves and found it when they killed my father. Thrilled by the challenge, they quickly hunted down the other Z-Fighters; even Piccolo was slain by them. Krillin, Tien, Yamcha, and even Yajirobe suffered similar fates. One by one they killed everyone, even Daisuke when she fought them alone. All that was left were Azumi, Gohan, and myself. We were the last fighters left alive strong enough to fight them. I won't let this world suffer the same fate," Trunks said as he continued powering up.

"A truly touching story. But where as you seek to change the future, I intend for history to run its course," Cell replied. "You thought that by travelling back in time you would change the future for the better, but in fact all you have done is ensure that everything will be destroyed."

"Enough!" Trunks roared as he finished powering up, with his muscles bulking up even more. "You're about to see the true power of the Saiyan race." He charged Cell and punched him sending him flying but he flipped and flew into the air as Trunks chased after him, firing energy blasts at close range. The smoke cleared, and Trunks gasped when he saw Cell was gone only to be kicked from behind by Cell and the battle continued. Trunks growled and he and Cell clashed again, locking hands as both struggled until Cell slammed his head into Trunks' face, sending him back before Trunks came back and pummelled him with punches. He then fired a large energy blast at Cell, knocking him into the ground.

Trunks floated down and hovered over Cell as he got to his feet. "Impressive, you've clearly surpassed my expectations. But you still won't be able to defeat me, brute strength is not all it takes to win a battle," he warned Trunks.

"That makes no sense," Trunks replied, charging Cell and throwing punches and kicks, but to his anger, Cell dodged each attack easily and Trunks panted once Cell dodged his last punch.

"Have you grown tired already?" Cell asked before Trunks began powering up again, his muscles getting even larger. "Foolish boy. You cannot beat me like that."

"Just shut up! You don't know anything!" Trunks shouted, charging Cell who dodged his punch again and kneed him in the gut.

"Oh? You do realise the more you bulk up with muscle the more energy you need to use to move them, right?" Cell asked him before kicking him away. "Did you really think that a form like that would give you an advantage without a price?"

"Trunks is even more powerful then Cell now, it's incredible." Piccolo said.

"So he's winning?" Azumi asked with a smile.

"No. Something is wrong, Trunks has more power but Cell still seems to be in control of the battle," Daisuke whispered. "What form did you unlock in the Time Chamber Trunks, and did you figure out all its strengths and weaknesses before using it?"

"Ok Gohan, show me what you can do," Goku said as he looked at his son. Gohan powered up into a Super Saiyan and began throwing punches and kicks, Goku watching him. "Whoa, he's getting the hang of it, that's my boy." Gohan landed and panted, exhausted. "Alright son, watch me," he instructed before he went Super Saiyan, and began powering up until he had reached the same form as Trunks had done.

"Whoa!" Gohan cried out in awe. "Dad, that's amazing, your power is incredible. You can beat Cell now, I know it."

"I know I may look like I can defeat Cell, Gohan. But this new form has a weakness Cell can exploit," Goku explained.

"What do you mean?" Gohan asked.

"These bulky muscles make it hard to move fast, and if I'm going to beat Cell, I can't have anything slowing me down. I may have great power, but what good is it if I can't catch my enemy? It takes more than brute strength to win a fight," his father continued.

Back at the battle between Trunks and Cell, Cell continued dodging Trunks' attacks easily before backhanding him, sending him flying across the ground. Cell chased after him and began pummelling him before a final kick sent him into the ground. "So pathetic. I can't even demonstrate my full power on you. Get up boy, or I will put you down permanently."

"That's it," Trunks growled, charging Cell who dodged the punch and he resumed his beatdown on Trunks before performing the same move he used on Vegeta to take him down. Cell floated into the air and watched as Trunks struggled to pull himself out of the crater before he floated into the air.

"Don't you realise yet that you cannot touch me?" Cell asked Trunks as he took in heavy breaths. "All you've shown me is you can pump up your muscles, nothing special there," he said before he smirked and floated down to the ground. Cell powered up until his own muscles were the same, and Trunks' eyes widened in shock. "You should have learned the limits of that form before you decided to fight me with it, if you fought against a slow-moving opponent you'd win. But if you face anyone like me who has any sort of speed you will not be able to touch them. It's a simple concept to learn, even Vegeta figured it out."

"So that's why…why father stopped getting stronger. He could have, but he knew the limits. And I just kept ploughing forward like an idiot," Trunks whispered as he powered down to normal and he floated to the ground. "You can finish me if you want, I've failed."

"How very gracious of you. But before I do, tell me how you and Vegeta became so strong. I find it hard to understand how you accomplished it in such a short amount of time." Cell said. "Answer me this, if you had more time could you get stronger?"

"Maybe, what difference does it make now? And why would you even want to know?" Trunks asked.

"Curiosity. Now tell me, where has Goku been hiding all this time? Why has he not faced me yet?" Cell asked him.

"Because he's training to defeat you. And he'll take you no contest." Trunks answered.

"No contest, eh? That gives me an idea. A tournament. It shall begin in ten days and consider yourself lucky that I am giving you a second chance. With this tournament, I shall face each member of your team, and when I defeat them one on one I shall face the next challenger. I have not decided where to hold the tournament so keep an eye on the television. It shall make for quite entertaining programming. Oh, and bring plenty of those Senzu Beans, you're going to need them," Cell explained. "Oh, and once I have defeated all of you, I shall destroy this pitiful planet. And make sure to bring Goku along because he is the one I wish to test my true power on. Until then." He then took off into the air as Trunks watched him leave in shock.
