Farewell Brave Hero
I don't own Digimon or Dragonball Z
Goku dodged a sudden Ki blast, and Cell began firing rapid energy waves at Goku who dodged some before flying through the energy barrage and firing his own energy attacks. The two barrages cancelled each other out in an explosion.
"Hadoken Barrage!" Cell shouted, using another of Daisuke's techniques as his arms became blurs. He hurled white orbs of energy towards Goku, who dodged the blasts and sped towards Cell. The two clashed fists, feet, knees, and other body parts before locking up as their bodies crackled with energy before their energies exploded between them, sending both flying away from the other.
"What is the secret to Kakarot's power?" Vegeta thought.
"They're even in speed and power!" Trunks exclaimed in shock, as the two warriors shot towards each other again and continued their clash.
"Strange, their power isn't getting weaker; it's only growing stronger," Daisuke thought in amazement as Goku charged Cell who fired multiple separate energy blasts, which Goku blocked before flying high into the air above the earth.
"Wow, he's really high up, what's he doing?" Krillin asked in both confusion and amazement. Daisuke narrowed her eyes as she saw her husband cup his hands.
"KA…ME…HA…ME…." Goku shouted as blue energy began to form in his hands.
"Watch out! It's the Kamehameha!" Piccolo warned everyone while Cell's eyes widened in horror.
"Goku, stop! Don't you see if you miss, you'll hit the planet, you'll destroy it!" he shouted to his opponent who continued to charge the energy before he suddenly vanished from sight. He then glanced down and gasped to see Goku on the ground inside his guard.
"HA!" Goku screamed, launching the powerful Kamehameha blast point blank range, leaving him no time to counter or dodge. Everyone watched with bated breath before they saw Cell's upper body had been completely obliterated and the rest of his body fell to the ground.
"Whoa…he did it…" Krillin whispered in awe.
"The Instant Transmission combined with the Kamehameha, it's a dangerous and effective. Cell had no time to react," Azumi said.
"But Cell's not dead," Daisuke said calmly, making everyone look at her confused.
"What're you talking about, Woman?" Vegeta demanded.
"He has Freiza's cells in him, so he can survive almost any injury. He also has Piccolo's cells inside him. This means he can regenerate, and I suspect Gero enhanced his healing abilities. However, the biggest reason I know this, is no one who was dead would have so much energy left in their body." Sure enough, Goku kept his guard up as the lower half of Cell got back up and the upper half began to slowly grow back until Cell was back to normal.
"Ah, that's much better," Cell said, rubbing his neck.
"Damn," Goku thought in anger. He put too much energy into that last blast in hopes he'd obliterate Cell to the point of him being unable to regenerate, but it looks like Cell was a lot stronger then he'd believed. "Has he been holding something back this whole time?"
"Now then, shall we continue our battle? Unless you are scared having seen me come back to life from such an attack," Cell spoke up, clenching his fists.
"It's not like I'm giving up any time soon," Goku shot back. He leapt at Cell and threw some punches that Cell blocked. "Take this!" He swung a roundhouse kick, but Cell blocked it with a single finger, stunning everyone. "What?" he asked himself. "I know my power is only around 20% now thanks to all the energy I put into that Kamehameha, but to stop my attack that easily?"
"My turn." He held his hand up and formed a green energy blast and he hit Goku in the chest, sending the Saiyan flying across the wasteland into a mountain. "Ah, it seems I've also acquired a power boost from my Saiyan Cells."
"Oh, you got to be kidding me, he gets stronger every time he regenerates?" Azumi asked with a frown. "Dr Gero didn't cut any corners."
"No, he didn't. I just hope Goku learned some new tricks in the Hyperbolic Chamber that he has yet to use," Trunks said, glaring daggers at Cell as he flew off after Goku. As the bio-android got closer to the mountain where Goku had crashed, into he saw dozens of energy blasts come towards him.
"Ah you were waiting for me to get closer; how clever, yet so futile," Cell mocked as he dodged the energy blasts. "HA!" he shouted, firing a blast from his hand down at the mountain, reducing it to rubble.
"Missed me," a voice behind him whispered before he was stuck in the back, sending him crashing into the ground below. He pulled himself and looked to see Goku floating above him.
"Ah your special little trick you refuse to tell me the name of. How bothersome," Cell muttered. "No matter, I will learn what it's called eventually, and I will use it against you," he promised Goku before vanishing and appearing in front of Goku, catching him off guard with a kick sending the Saiyan skidding through the air.
"Come on, let's go after them, in case Goku needs help," Daisuke said, with Vegeta flying off first. "Typical." She flew after the prince with the others close behind her.
Goku threw punches and kicks at Cell, who blocked only to reply with his own punches that hit Goku in the chest or face, sending the Saiyan back before he charged back into the fight. This time, when he punched Cell, the android vanished and Goku was struck from behind by an elbow, sending him towards the ground. He righted himself and spun around. "Where'd he…" he thought, seeing Cell was gone again.
He felt something behind him and turned just in time to narrowly dodge an energy blast that nicked some of his right pant leg, scorching the fabric.
"You're slowing down, Goku," Cell taunted the Saiyan who growled.
"There's no doubting it now, he was holding back earlier. I have to give it everything I got, he has to go down now," he thought as Cell flew towards him. "Solar Flare!" he shouted, holding his hands to his face, and there was a bright flash of light blinding Cell temporarily.
"My eyes! Damn you!" he screamed, clutching his face in pain. He removed his hands and blinked until his vision was back.
"Kamehameha!" he heard Goku's distant shout, and he turned to see the Saiyan on a nearby outcrop of rock. He fired a single-handed Kamehameha towards Cell, followed by another from his other hand, and the pair of beams continued heading towards Cell.
"Not this time!" Cell shouted, throwing his arms out and a large purple sphere began to form around him. It expanded to great size, blocking the energy waves while also levelling anything in the path of the sphere, including knocking some of the Z-Fighters away who got too close to the it.
"A barrier?" Daisuke asked gritting her teeth. "Did he take this move from Android 17 when he absorbed him?"
"Possibly. He did make a barrier when he absorbed Android 18 to stop us from attacking him," Krillin said. Cell smirked as he cancelled the barrier once Goku ceased his attacks, and he floated over to Goku who was panting heavily, sweat dripping from his forehead.
"Now do you see the gap between us, Goku, do you wish to give up?" Cell asked, holding his hand up forming a Ki sphere, ready to fire if Goku decided to try and keep fighting.
"You were holding back," Goku said.
"Of course, I was. I believe I only used sixty-five percent of my power. But that is still the most I've had to use in any fight I've had since becoming perfect," Cell explained with a smirk.
"I see…." Goku muttered before he smiled. "Yeah…you're too strong for me. I give up. Daisuke it's your turn, 'kay?" he asked, and everyone balked and turned to Daisuke who nodded.
"Her? You must be joking, out of everyone here and you put your faith in Daisuke?" Cell asked in disbelief, looking between Goku and Daisuke who floated down to the ground and waited.
"She's stronger then she looks, plus she has some tricks up her sleeve," Goku answered with a confident smile.
"Hm, very well, if you wish to put the fate of the world on your wife, her death will be on your head," Cell told him before he flew over and landed in front of Daisuke, the two opponents glaring at each other.
"This is going to be your last day alive, Cell." Daisuke promised, flaring her energy, and she rapidly transformed into MachGaogamon.
"I was going to say the same thing to you," Cell said, throwing the first punch, and Daisuke ducked under it. She activated her jetpack and shot into the air, kicking Cell in the jaw along the way. The blow did little to hurt him, but he chuckled. "Feisty."
"Goku, what the heck were you thinking, giving up like that?" Krillin yelped in frustration watching as Cell flew off after Daisuke. "There's no way Daisuke can stand against Cell on her own."
"Don't worry about it," Goku said with a smile. "There's still a lot she has to show off."
"He must mean her other transformation. But how could he be so sure that it'll be enough to stop Cell?" Trunks thought, watching Daisuke as she dodged a few punches from Cell before landing her own combo on the bio-android, which only made him chuckle.
"Kakarot you fool, you've doomed us all," Vegeta growled to himself.
Daisuke landed on the ground, flipping back before she fired a few energy blasts at Cell who swatted them away like flies, the blasts harmlessly exploding around him. "Hm, not bad, but surely you can do better. Your husband was a much better fight," he commented, before shooting towards Daisuke. Faster then she could blink he slammed his fist into her jaw, sending her skidding back before the blows rained down.
"His blows are heavy," she grunted out, ducking under one punch before Cell slammed his knee into her jaw. The blow sent her into the air, and Cell grabbed her ankle and spun around before letting her go. She went flying into a pack of boulders. "Howling Cannon!" she roared, letting loose a loud howl and sending a giant cyclone towards Cell, picking the boulders around her up and they too flew at him.
"Ah, ingenious," he said before waving his hand that glowed with green Ki, and a blade of energy slashed the boulders into tiny pebbles. He then used a burst of Ki and sent the pebbles back at Daisuke, who dodged, but the projectiles tore into another boulder like bullets.
"Damn, he's clever," she thought. "But then again, I'm not out of tricks yet." She crouched and her wings hummed in build-up, she shot off at max speed towards Cell, who chuckled and threw a punch only for it to be dodged when Daisuke veered off and began spinning around Cell forming a tornado of wind.
"Gaoga Tornade!" she cried out. Cell gasped and crossed his arms to blow a punch from the front before more punches began to hit him from all angles.
"So fast!" he thought with a small smirk. "It seems she indeed has new tricks up her sleeve." He jumped up and flew above the tornado and waited for it to stop. Once it did, Daisuke grit her teeth and glared up at him.
"Don't think you can keep running from me," she told him, shooting up to him with a punch.
"Of course not, I was simply waiting for you to get serious," he commented, blocking her punch before he kicked her in the jaw, sending her flying into a rock formation. "Perhaps I need to do something to bring out your full power," he mused, holding his finger to the sky. A small purple sphere of Ki began to form followed by it suddenly expanding until it was the size of a very large beach ball.
"That doesn't look good," Krillin said as he and the others watched Cell throw the sphere of energy down at the place Daisuke had crashed into, and the area was consumed by a large flash of light followed by a gust of heat.
"Mom!" Gohan and Azumi cried out in horror. Goku also was worried before something appeared behind Cell.
"Take this!" Cell had no time to turn around before a blue energy blast slammed into his back, sending him flying across the sky until he managed to fight his way out of the path of the beam. Turning in anger, he saw Daisuke with only a few scuffs and a scorch mark on her top, but otherwise she was unharmed. "Were you trying to blow the planet up with that attack?"
"Of course not, it was only a small percentage of my power. I didn't want to destroy the planet without knowing I was the victor. And since you survived, my caution was well advised."
"I need to transform to my next form now, I can't keep fighting him like this. It'll only make things easier for him," Daisuke thought. She was broken out of her thoughts when Cell appeared in front of her and sent her plummeting to the ground with a double axe handle, and she flipped before impact, landing on her feet. She began to dodge the energy blasts Cell sent towards her, each blast exploding when they hit the ground.
"Don't think you can escape me so easily, I will not fall for any more tricks," Cell said, flying down after her, and he kicked her in the stomach, making her cough out sputum before she went rolling across the landscape.
"Ok, if you say so," she replied getting to her feet. "Time to try this out." She watched as Cell charged towards her. "Focus, keep it controlled." Her hands began to glow with energy, and she waited until Cell was about to throw another punch and before smirking. "HA!" she cried out, throwing her hands out, and the energy from her hands latched onto Cell and began covering his body, shrouding him in a blue aura.
"Wha…what is this?" he growled, finding himself unable to move his own body.
"A simple binding technique I created, clever, huh?" Daisuke chirped before she jumped back a few dozen feet. "That'll hold him for now." She clenched her fists and let out a roar as her Ki flared and her body began to glow also.
"Looks like she's gonna transform," Krillin said, feeling the wind pick up as the others watched the fight.
"That technique Daisuke used to hold Cell, it's not going to hold," Piccolo spoke grimly, and sure enough, the aura surrounding Cell began to flicker and fade. Upon noticing this, he chuckled.
"A clever trick, but unfortunately you're just no match for me," he told Daisuke, forcing his body to move. He cupped his hands and began charging an all too familiar blue Ki sphere between them. "You're finished! Ka-me-ha-me-HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" firing the attack as Daisuke continued glowing until her entire body was nearly engulfed by light. That was when the energy wave slammed into her, covering her in a cloud of smoke.
"Daisuke!" The Z-Fighters, sans Vegeta and Piccolo, shouted in worry as the smoke cleared and she was nowhere to be seen.
"Well…that was a bit of fun. A shame that it's all over now. I guess that means I wi-," Cell began before he was cut off when something kicked him in the jaw, and sent him flying.
Everyone gasped at the sight before a large gust of wind blew around the area, feeling like blades cutting through the air as one blade cut Hercule's afro in half, shocking the fool.
"My do! My precious, precious do!" the wimpy man shouted in agony as he grabbed his hair and ran around like a headless chicken.
"What the-? No one can move that fast, except for-!" Piccolo gasped in realization and Vegeta smirked as a figure appeared from the wind.
"Daisuke/Mama/Mom!" Everyone shouted in joy as her form became less obscured.
Daisuke was wearing dark blue armor that covered most of her body, sans her head which had her hair grown to her waist and looked spikier than before, and her chest armor resembled a wolf's face. Her hands were covered by a pair of gauntlets with three blades that were seemingly made out of energy, and her mouth was covered by a red face mask that was connected to a pair of billowing scarves.
"This power... This was just like in Gero's notes!" Trunks gasped, remembering what he and Krillin had found when they went to destroy the Cell of this era.
Daisuke's feet touched the ground and she folded her arms as Cell stood back up, the bio-mechanical Android giving a heated glare that was only matched by Daisuke's calm and cold stare. "So…this is what you were hiding, I must say you're stronger then you were a moment ago. What do you call this form?"
"MirageGaogamon," Daisuke simply replied before she vanished and Cell narrowly avoided a kick aimed for his head. The two combatants locked eyes before a gust of wind sent debris flying as Dai flipped back before going in for another attack. Cell tried to cut her off with a chop only for it to be ducked under by Daisuke who slammed her knee into Cell's chest. Daisuke threw a punch with Cell matching her, and the two blows collided, the shockwave blowing both away from each other.
"Whoa, that was fast," Goku said, shocked and in awe. Cell shot towards Daisuke again who shifted her foot before blasting off past Cell, who felt her claws cut into his cheek, drawing blood. He felt the cut as Daisuke landed behind him.
"All that, for a drop of blood," he muttered a small smirk. Daisuke narrowed her eyes as the Android turned around before flexing his muscles. He roared and shot towards her with a flurry of punches and kicks. The two then took to the sky, instantly becoming blurs with only shockwaves signalling where they were.
"So this…this is what I could do if I get to that form?" Azumi asked herself in wonder. "My mom is so cool." Gohan and Goku heard her and both smiled in agreement.
Cell shot towards Daisuke, only for her to kick him into the ground. He slammed into it, and Daisuke began her next attack. "Have a taste of these! Super Hadoken Barrage!" She held her hands above her head, a bright blue sphere of energy forming which she then held down towards Cell, and the sphere broke apart into numerous and nigh on uncountable Hadoken blasts that rained down on Cell who looked up at the incoming assault.
"RARGH!" he roared, flaring his barrier to block the blasts and avoid any more damage. The blasts crashed down onto the barrier which held. "Oh, that was a bit too close," he thought lowering the barrier only for Daisuke to appear before him, and she kicked him in the gut, sending him skidding across the ground.
"Double Crescent Mirage!" she shouted, dashing around Cell, and she swung her bladed gauntlets and arcs of energy appeared and cut deepy into Cell's body, making the Android choke down a yell at the feeling, but to Daisuke's frustration the injuries healed up quickly.
"Funny, I almost felt that," he said, turning to Daisuke. "You should give up now, there is no way you can win. Just like I was holding back against Goku, I was holding back here."
"You're bluffing," Daisuke said, readying herself as Cell crackled his knuckles.
"Do you believe me now?" his voice suddenly said from behind her. She spun around and kicked, only for it to be blocked by Cell's forearm. He then knocked the limb away and slammed his fist into her chest armour, cracking it.
"Gah!" she gasped out as she flew across the battlefield. "Son of a…" she growled as Cell appeared above her, slamming his elbow into her as she blocked it, the blow driving her into the ground. She leaned away as Cell slammed his foot down where her face used to be, before he jumped back to avoid her attempt to trip him up.
"Let me show you how your technique is really done, with some real power. Hadoken Barrage!" Cell shouted, using Daisuke's own barrage of Ki blasts against her. She growled and dodged the blasts before jumping, and with a flip, landed in a superhero landing as an explosion happened behind her.
"Nice try," she commented, shooting off towards Cell. She continued to dodge and weave the energy blasts as they came at her. Swatting one more aside, she slammed her claw into Cell's forearm, and it sunk into his arm. She kneed him in the gut, making his eyes widen. An uppercut followed by a roundhouse kick to his head sent the android stumbling back.
"Special Beam Cannon!" Cell shouted, charging the attack and firing it at Daisuke who jumped over him and threw two blue energy blasts at him, engulfing him in an explosion. She cupped her hands and fired another, larger blast into the flames. To finish off her attack, her chest armour opened and began to fill with energy.
"It's been a long time since I've seen this attack used. Now's as good as time as any. Full Moon Blaster!" she cried, letting loose a brilliant gold energy wave into the flames. Once the beam struck, another massive explosion happened. "Ha…ha…alright…that did it…I hope," she panted before falling to one knee. Her form flickered before shattering, returning her to her normal appearance. "Crap…that form was a lot more energy taxing then I thought…looks like I'll need to train in it some more…" she thought, right before she heard something and looked up just to see a beam of energy shoot through the flames and pierce her heart.
Time seemed to stop for everyone; Goku, Azumi and Gohan's eyes widened as they watched Daisuke fall backwards and hit the ground with a dull thud; only by the shallow breaths could they tell she was alive. "Daisuke!" Goku shouted, grabbing a Senzu Bean from Krillin and he shot towards her.
"I think not," a voice from the flames said before an energy blast slammed into Goku, knocking him down and out of his Super Saiyan form. He and Daisuke weakly looked to see Cell step out of the flames, his body twisting and contorting as flesh, sinew, and fibres of his very being continued to regrow. "I must say, that last attack was extraordinary. A pity that against my regeneration, nothing can stop me."
"I…I'll just have to reduce you to mere ash next time…" Daisuke coughed out, struggling back to her knees. Cell walked towards her and smirked.
"There is no next time for you, I'm afraid," he said, cupping her chin gently as his face finished regenerating. It was the last thing Daisuke would see before an energy blast from his hand obliterated her into dust.
"M…mom…" Gohan whispered as tears fell down his cheeks, and he grit his teeth in grief, his body began pulsing and arching with energy with Azumi's body doing the same thing.
"Uh…what's going on?" Krillin asked in worry, backing away from the siblings as did the rest of the group, all who were in awe of the sheer power both were giving off.
"N…no…." Goku gasped out as Cell turned and walked towards him, and held him down with his foot.
"A shame isn't it, Goku? You put all your faith into her. And she failed, just like you did," Cell mocked as he began charging another Ki blast to finish Goku off, only for one loud roar to stop him.
"CELL!" he looked up to see Azumi's body bristling with energy, her form glowed and pulsed before a mighty flash of light blinded all for a moment. "You're going to pay!" out of the light charged Azumi only her appearance had changed drastically from that of her normal transformation. Her armor was now black and had spread to cover her whole body except for the upper half of her head, which had a straight, black, metal horn on her forehead, seemingly welded to her skull. Her tail now was longer and had a longer, red blade on it. In each hand was a clawed gauntlet that had a long, red blade jutting out from the wrist guard. Her cape was now tattered and black, and crimson lightning arched off her body. Her eyes held nothing but hatred and rage. "DIE!" she roared in a bestial tone. One of her wrist-blades flared with black energy, and she swung it towards Cell. At first, the android was confused because she was a couple dozen feet too far away, but then he saw a tiny arc of light fly from the swung blade.
He tried to fly upwards, but was unable to completely clear the area before the arc reached him, and his body below his thighs was sliced clean off, falling to the ground. He gasped out in shock.
"Wha…" he didn't have time to react before Azumi appeared before him in a blur and began to slash and hack the android viciously. Goku and the others watched in shock as Azumi stopped her assault and Cell's body began falling apart from all the cuts, only for it to slowly heal back. "You little…that hurt…" he growled.
Azumi simply hissed, holding her hands up, and she fired a massive black energy blast that slammed into Cell's chest, boring a hole through it and sending him flying away.
"Azumi…what're you doing!?" Gohan called over to her but she didn't even acknowledge him. Nothing mattered except for the red haze in her mind, and her enemy.
