Harry Potter and the Source Beyond Might and Magic

Chapter 12

Sixteen

Harry yawned a little as his eyes peeled open. He frowned a little as he thought today was supposed to hold some kind of meaning, but his mind was to befuddled with sleep right now he couldn't quite place why.

Shaking his head, a little, it was then he realised he could feel a small soft body pressed up against his bare chest. He frowned, but was glad he wore shorts to bed even if they were only boxers. That kind of thing could scar the girl, but it had been so freaking hot this week. He had even contemplated making it snow over the house, and most likely would have if Ginny hadn't been stopping him. She had actually-threatened to make it hotter if one unnatural snowflake touched down anywhere nearby. Harry had rolled his eyes, and told her nothing could be hotter than her, so he very much doubted she could pull off her threat. Fact was, Harry knew she didn't have the power to pull off her threat.

Trying not to laugh at such silliness or it snowing in July, Harry looked down at the tiny blonde girl as she stirred in his arms a little. Normally during the night either May or April, though normally both would wake and crawl into bed and snuggle up with him and Ginny, though he was surprised and suspicious to find both Ginny and April missing, and only May with him.

"Happy birthday, Daddy!" chimed the little girl suddenly startling him with her bright smile and sparkling blue eyes. Well at least she reminded him of the day.

Harry smiled and laughed as he kissed her forehead lovingly. "Thank you. And good morning to you my little sleepy head," he said chuckling as he stroked her blonde hair.

Just then the bedroom door burst open, and in skipped little April still in her pyjamas with a bright grin. "Happy birthday, Daddy!" she cheered as she jumped up onto the bed into his arms as he laughed and cuddled her as well.

"Well good morning sweetie," he chuckled as he kissed her cheek. "And where did you get too, and where's Ginny gone?"

"Oh, mommy says she'll be back in a short while," April replied. "And I was on the loo silly daddy." She and her sister giggled while he rolled his eyes and laughed.

"Well," he began as he glanced at his watch: 11:30 am. He was surprised. "I think I best get you girls cleaned up and dressed. And I need a shower too; we can't spend all day being lazy now, can we?" The girls both giggled as they shook their heads in agreement and he gave them a tickle attack.

'Damn those girls are soooo sweet!' Pandora suddenly squealed unable to contain herself. 'Where can I get one?'

Osiris snickered.'You can barely take care of yourself, so what makes you think you'll be good with kids.'

'Hey,'moaned Calypso.'I'm sure Pan would have made a great mother!'

'The mother of your children'snorted Loki, snickering.

'Damn brother… you're a jerk!'came a thunderous, but gentle, and perhaps caring retort.

Loki snickered.'Yeah, I know… especially since you so often remind me.'

'Well, someone has too!'both Calypso and Pandora yell at him angrily.

Loki laughed some more.'Yeah, and what are you two going to do if I don't want to be a 'good' boy?'he asked laughingly.

'We'll get Freya to give you a makeover again!'said Pandora smugly.

Loki's shudder could have destroyed worlds.'Y-you wouldn't dare. Anyway, she wouldn't do that… well a second time anyway.'

'Of course, not… I don't like to repeat myself!'her voice interrupted making him shudder with dread. Her voice was strong and fierce but held a kindness to it that was almost hidden by her annoyance in the trickster. 'However, I will help hold you down!'she snickered smugly, and both Pandora and Calypso giggled as they obviously saw what was going to happen.

'Well, I would normally never seek revenge on Pandora's behalf, but since it's you!' her beautiful voice giggled as Loki started screaming in panic and begging for help.

'Okay, that's just weird,' Harry interrupted feeling a little sorry for the guy, though only a little.

'Yeah, it certainly is,'agreed Merlin.'Damn funny though,'he added as he burst out laughing and Harry blocked them out rolling his eyes. Harry supposed they had to find something to entertain themselves with.

Harry stretched his muscles as he finally dressed. He wore some light khaki shorts, and a standard white tee, with white ankle socks and white running trainers. Harry smiled at both April and May as they wore little white summer dresses. May's had a baby unicorn on the back with flowers around the edges, and April's was with angle wings on the back with clouds running along the edges, both looking very cute.

Harry laughed as he took the girls hands, and carefully led them downstairs. He had already detected quite a few people in the house, and he was confused as to why none of them was a Weasley, but got a quick rundown from Isis as she was playing peacekeeper with the Loki incident.

So, Harry discovered Ginny had popped over to the village with her mother and Hermione, and Arthur quickly left through the floo a few minutes ago with Percy and Ron, but they would probably be back soon. Fred and George were at their shop, though they would be closing-up shop early today, and Bill and Charlie wouldn't arrive for another hour or so. Well, that last one he knew him-self, as they both chose to set themselves up in a nearby muggle hotel to 'free up space', but Harry was sure they just didn't want their mum nagging them.

When Harry and the girls finally arrived downstairs, and entered the lounge, he was surprised to see how many people were already there. Several people were quick to greet him, and say happy birthday and all that jazz. They didn't even seem to notice the girls, and if they did, chose not to say anything.

Harry just shook his head, and laughed as he quickly scooped up both girls, one in each arm, and walked over to a friendly face while they giggled and held on tight. However, their giggling was cut short as they looked up at the massive guy with his big bushy beard from their daddy's arms.

They clung to their daddy tightly.

"Happy birthday, Harry!" Hagrid chimed cheerfully as always.

Harry smiled up at his old friend. "Thanks. It's good you could come."

"Well, I had too. After all it is ya birthday," he retorted as if that would be certain. "And sixteen too… just a year to go and you'll be a proper adult and all," he added the last bit teasingly. "So, who are the little-ens?" he finally asked after he and Harry finished laughing.

Harry smiled reassuringly at the girls. "Well, this is May," he began gesturing to the youngest. "And April," he continued nodding to the oldest. They both blushed though as Hagrid stared at them.

"Oh, ya looking after them?" he asked as he looked them over. "Where are their parents, do I know them? What's their family's name?"

Harry rolled his eyes with a sigh. Hagrid's question had gotten a lot of nosy listeners so he just outright told them. "Potter," he said rolling his eyes as a lot of people, Hagrid included gasped. "I adopted them, if anyone has a problem with that; you can take it up your terrible child care system for throwing them around like lose trash because of a self-centred bitch aunt.

"I do what I must," Harry said coolly, "but do any of you?" he asked as he looked at his confused girls. "How would you sweeties love to go and play outside, as I have a cunning plan?"

The girls squealed in delight.

Ginny frowned as she, her mum and Hermione returned from the village with a few things for the party. She quickly lay her stuff down, and mumbled something about Harry to her mum and friend before quickly hurrying off. Though, she hadn't run far, just out of the back door where she found Harry and the girls.

She was completely flabbergasted though when she found a huge plastic multi coloured jungle gym, several swings for little kids and older, some see-saws, and bouncy bug things, and more climbing frames with rope ladders, and fireman's poles, and tunnels to crawl through.

However, not only that but loads of spells and enchantments were making beautiful coloured bubbles, and funny sounds if one were to step on a picture of a car it made honking sounds, etc., and mirrors that made you look funny. Now Ginny could get over its sudden appearance in her garden pretty-quick, (as she did live with Harry, and he abused magic like it all belonged to him), but it was so huge. It was seriously massive, covering at least quarter of the garden, and their garden was rather massive as it was.

Ginny had paused and watched with a smile coming to her lips as a pair of giggling blonde girls ran towards her over loads of pictures making a sound each time, as Harry chased after them. They soon reached her with wide arms and flew into her waiting embrace holding on tight and giggling in hysterics.

Ginny couldn't help but laugh along with them as Harry arrived with a wide grin. "Hey there beautiful!" he chimed as he stole a quick kiss from her lips; one that she lovingly enjoyed.

"Oh my…" they were interrupted by Hermione. Her eyes were almost shooting out of her head in shock, as they lay witness to the most amazing play park she had ever seen. She turned from it to Harry. "I hope that's not just for the girls?" she asked him gesturing wildly at the park.

Harry laughed while Hermione looked sheepish and Ginny stood with May and April in her arms while they giggled together before they all returned to the party.

"Hmm… I wonder where my little munchkins got too." Harry asked himself in wonder, even though he could sense them, it was just habit to ask things out loud. The party had been going for a few hours now and everybody was probably having a good time.

"I believe I saw them playing outside," a soft voice answered. Harry turned to see a pretty-Chinese girl with a light blush to her cheeks as she smiled at him. "When you make a toy, you go all out don't you," she continued with an amused edge to her voice.

Harry laughed. "Thanks Cho. I guess you're right, but as long as they're having fun… and those older 'children' seem to be enjoying themselves too."

"So, did you need them for something?"

"Oh, yeah its bed time," he answered laughingly.

"I wouldn't think little Potter's would have such a thing!" interrupted another feminine voice, though this one saltier. "After all, you do seem to break and twist every rule there is, just for giggles."

Harry turned and smirked as he looked at the midnight-skinned girl. She was gorgeous, and had long silky-smooth black hair tied back at her waist. She had a smirk lining her lips, and her dark eyes were sparkling amusement.

"Blaise, Blaise, Blaise," Harry tutted with a shake of his head, as he pulled her into his arms where she accepted his embrace, and kiss to her forehead. "Haven't you ever heard the saying of many parents?" he asked as he pulled back and held the girls around the shoulder each to pull them in closer, and both girls looked confused and shook their heads in curiosity. "Don't do what I do. Do what I say."

Both girls snorted out, laughing as Harry gave a cheeky salute and left them to their own devices.

However, just as Harry slipped outside, Blaise caught up with him, and grabbed him by the arm, rather shy of the playpark.

"What can I do for you, Darling?" Harry asked with a smile.

Blaise leaned up on tiptoes and kissed Harry's cheek. "You're always being so good to people. I have you to thank you for my life… my friends… and… and you even saved these little girls and gave them the home they always deserved… I… I just want to say thank you, Harry," she said throwing herself into Harry's arms, and he smiled as he held her tightly around her slim waist, and breathed her in.

Harry had met Blaise shortly after he had saved Ginny during the Chamber of Secrets episode, just after the new year. Harry didn't know who she was when he found her on the top of the tower, standing on the parapets ready to throw herself off. Harry didn't know her, and didn't care that she wore Slytherin colours, but he saw someone who needed his help.

They had talked, and Blaise had been in hysterics, as she believed her life was over. Harry hadn't heard the 'rumour' that spread through the school like wildfire. The 'rumour' came from a higher up Gryffindor girl. This girls mum was a healer who dealt in 'special' cases that could happen in magical people. The girls mum was also Blaise's healer who knew of Blaise's condition, and told her daughter all about it, and who then spread it around school.

Blaise sounded so bitter and dead when she told him. You see, she had an extremely rare condition, sort of one in ten million witches rare where she was female, but she also had a penis, and then testicles that were hidden within her female area, so she had some serious issues. She had since admitted that the penis worked, but was rather very-small, as was the norm with this condition. Unfortunately, there can be some serious reproduction issues after any kind of surgery, and because carrying on the bloodline was important to purebloods; they opted to not undergo surgery, and the older the child gets, the higher the chances for infertility, and Blaise had wanted the surgery at the time, and then the school found out.

Harry hadn't thought she was a freak. In fact, he thought she had a rather nice arse and nicely sized boobs – well, he wasn't thinking that at the time, but now? Definitely. Blaise was younger then, but he still thought she was pretty and being silly. Harry had stood on the ledge with her and took her hand. He got her off the ledge, and told her that anyone who would care about something like 'that' didn't deserve her attention, or care, and those others would be better too, to be brave. Bravery wasn't something inherent in anyone, not even Gryffindors, but bravery was overcoming your fears.

Blaise had been surprised when her friends, Daphne and Tracey hadn't cared. They had been concerned for her. In fact, some boys and girls from all over the school were rather supportive, and the girl who started the 'rumours' was dirt for that whole year, luckily it was her last, but her mother had been in serious trouble, enough that she was fired from St. Mungo's Magical Hospital for breaching healer-patient confidentiality. Blaise no longer felt the need to have anything done or removed, and ever since, she considered Harry Potter: a Gryffindor, one of her closest, and best friends.

"I love you!" she whispered into Harry's ear.

"I love you too, Blaise," Harry replied as she pulled back and wiped her eyes.

"I should, you know…" she said, gesturing Cho. "We kind of came together, since Daph and Tracey are so silly, and I find coming to things like this alone, weirdly uncomfortable."

"Have a good time," Harry said. "Not too good now… unless I can watch!"

"Harry!" Blaise said with a roll of her eyes before turning from him with her black party dress swishing around as she returned to Cho and whispered something that caused Cho to blush brightly and look over at Harry rolling her dark eyes before the door closed them off.

Harry chuckled as he turned, and searched for May and April, and found them unsurprisingly with Fred and George; both twins he noted with a roll of his eyes were on a seesaw while the girls watched from the sides laughing at them.

Harry quickly acquired the girls, getting little squeals and giggles as he grabbed them with a smile. He was just about to apparate away with them when Hermione rushed over asking whether he could speak with Ron, after he put the girls to bed (at the back of the yard), he had just shrugged and agreed before disappearing in a shimmering ripple of air.

Hermione frowned. How many different methods of apparating could there seriously be? Hermione wondered whether Harry was just adding some silly flashy-flash thing, and not actually apparating any differently. She ended up groaning and shaking her head sadly, as she should have figured that out ages ago, as she knew what a clown Harry could be, and Ginny always enjoyed joining in his games too.

It was about an hour later that saw Ron pacing back and forward in front of some apple trees that someone at one time had grown, not realising they were going to be rather big. However, he couldn't care about that.

"Yo!" Harry called from the branch of one of the trees, as he sat in it and near scared the life out of Ron, as the ginger boy held his chest and glared at Harry as he flipped himself from the tree and landed softly before his friend. "You wanted to have some chatty-chit-chat, buddy?" he asked in a chipper mood.

"Bloody hells, Harry!" Ron complained. "Can… can you be serious just for a moment, please."

Harry frowned. "Okay, I won't even go for the serious Sirius joke, so what's eating at you?"

Ron frowned, half wishing Harry would continue playing around. "Well… first… well… Hermione said I should tell you, but, Hermione and I broke up."

"Okay," Harry said gently. "That was probably inevitable, dude," he replied to Ron's surprise. "You have literally nothing in common, and every time she tries to engage you in something she likes it goes so far over your head that you end up bickering, for hours."

"Oh," Ron said sheepishly. "Hermione said something like that too. We hadn't even gone passed hand holding. The thought kind of felt weird, luckily, so just being friends who bicker isn't going to make anything even weirder."

Harry laughed as he patted Ron's shoulder. "Look, Ron, there are plenty of hot young things out there, maybe one or two might want to have a little too much fun with you, huh?" he asked while Ron went bright red. "Is this what has been bothering you, man? You didn't want me to find out you and Hermione realised you're about as companiable as water and fire?"

"Now you're mocking me, aren't you?" Ron asked, deadpan.

"Yes," Harry agreed, and they both laughed as Ron felt relief flood him. "So, is that everything you need? Some girl advice…? An introduction to some honeys? I saw Levi earlier; she is hot, and has really bad taste."

"Bastard!" Ron replied with a laughing half glare before pausing. "You really think she would go out with me?"

Harry shrugged thoughtfully. "According to the gossiping I've heard tonight, she is single. Just ask her out, like this, 'hey, Levi, wanna find a closet and suck face?' though, this is your house, closet not needed when your bedroom is upstairs."

"Harry!" Ron complained while brighter than a tomato. "Your girl advice is likely to get me lynched, but thanks for not being too serious about everything."

"No worries, man," Harry said while smiling, "but let's get out of here, as the party is not going to last forever."

Harry laughed later that night as he had Cho and Blaise dancing with him, rather against their will as he pulled them around, and pulled them in tight to his powerful body while Blaise tried to glare him away, and Cho just looked embarrassed. However, Ginny came along and seemed to save Cho, but she was laughing too as she took over dancing.

Making a gesture with his right hand, Amanda Creevey shyly joined Harry and Blaise, as he pulled their bodies tight with his arms around their slender waists.

"The party, must go on!" Harry laughed with his two girls and eyed Hermine up and down from across the floor set up for dancing with some others dancing too, as the adults left them all too it for the other room, and with Ginny stealing Amanda and Blaise Harry stole Hermione to join them as she was being too silly, but she let Harry hold her as he moved them around the dance floor to join Ginny, Amanda, and Blaise.

Meanwhile, Ron watched Harry with all those girls, and even Hermione, getting them dancing, and making sure his friends had some fun. Harry was a pretty-great friend, but bad at advice.

However, Ron startled as he realised, he was standing next to Lavender Brown. She had crinkled blonde hair to the small of her back and bright blue eyes. She was wearing a simple blue dress that plumped up certain things a little more than necessary and she seemed to smirk as she caught him looking, so quickly looked away.

Lavender rolled her bright blue eyes, and before Ron knew it, Lavender had taken his hand, and pulled him onto the dance floor where she took his hands and placed them to her hips and rested hers on the back of his neck, and they moved.

"I heard you were on the market," Lavender said impishly. "I've never wanted perfect… you can't bend perfect to your whims," she said with a white toothed grin as Ron gulped and she gave him a cheeky wink.

"Levi! Ronald!" Harry greeted as they drifted closer to him while he was with Amanda as Hermione had been stolen by Ginny, and was starting to enjoy herself while Cho figured it didn't hurt to enjoy the night as she danced with Blaise, and Blaise preferred her normal dancing over Harry's over the top, not that either of them could refuse him, as neither of them would want too.

"Harry!" Lavender said with a cheeky smirk.

Harry turned his attention to Ron. "You owe me one, by the way!" he said while Amanda giggled as they span away from the pair while Ron looked embarrassed, Lavender shrugged and said something that brightened Ron's mood.

"So, you're a matchmaker?" Amanda asked impishly.

Harry shrugged. "Some people care to much about perception," he answered. "First thing you should do in life, is kill that little voice in the back of your head that reminds you of all the stupidly embarrassing shit you've done, out of the blue."

Amanda snorted and nodded. "That sounds like sage advice," she said as she rested her cheek on Harry's chest as he took her around the dance floor, and Amanda, Harry, and friends would have a great night.
