"Let me help," Lucy approached the raven haired mage who was currently slumped against his chair, head deep underneath the pile of papers that needed to be fixed because of a certain someone's mistake.

He peeked over the stack that was covering the blonde, shaking his head in the process, "No, that won't be necessary." Without further explanation, Rogue resumed his work, completely ignoring the blonde.

Lucy bit her lip, unsure of what to do. Carefully, she made her way to his desk, gathering a pile of papers that remained dry from Sting's misfortune.

"I told you, I don't need help." He called out, emotionlessly—all without looking at her.

She remained unbothered, and continued to arrange the papers. Upon assessing the condition of the papers, she placed it inside a nearby box as to prevent further damage, and to keep it safe from Sting.

She gathered another pile from Rogue's desk, feeling the piercing gaze – or was it glare? – from the aforementioned man.

The blonde refused to cower from his gaze. She bit her lip in an attempt to suppress her emotions, 'What is wrong with this guy?!'

Lucy continued to arrange the papers, separating the damaged files from those that are salvageable. "I'm done, do you need anything?"

Rogue didn't spare her a glance; he only grunted in response. They stayed in silence for minutes, until Lucy's patience ran out. The seemingly sign of defeat from the blonde was really her temper rising by the minute.

"I'll be going back to Fairy Tail in half an hour." Still, no response. The dragon slayer remained stoic amidst Lucy's monologues. She stood idly a few feet away from the unresponsive male.

Rogue stood up, ignoring the existence of a certain blonde. He finished the remaining papers that he went to fix by himself, completely turning his back away from her.

Blag! The blonde slammed her palms on the wooden table in anger. "What's the big deal, Rogue?!"

The man didn't even flinch from the sound, nor did he make any movement that would tell the Fairy that he was listening.

Angry, she continued, "You've been purposely ignoring me the whole morning. We were fine days ago! Why are you ignoring me?!"

'No response, huh?' She sighed in defeat, still fuming from the actions of the man—or the lack, thereof. 'It's no use; I'm just wasting my breath.'

Without any word, she left the room.

Rogue was left alone in the room, unconsciously tightening his hold on the pen. He sighed, releasing the tension he held in since being alone with the blonde.

Lucy slowly made her way to the hall, pulling her luggage behind. She had said her farewell to many of the members—pulling them into a hug, promising to stay in touch.

The core members stood in front of the giant door that she was intimidated by a month ago. Funny, how something she wished to have never happened before became an unforgettable experience.

They crowded her, all eager to accompany the blonde to the train station—the place where everything began.

Amongst the group, a man stood fairly farther away from the noise. Rogue remained distant of her, ever since he heard the confession of Sting.

"Sting's the best master, don't forget!" Lector threatened, trying to act cool even if he was snuggled like a baby on Lucy's arm.

"Fro thinks so, too!" The adorable exceed agreed, raising a paw near the blonde Fairy's face.

She laughed warmly, nodding in approval as to appease both of the exceeds taking comfort on her arms. She knew Lector was just trying to be himself as not to worry the blonde.

Though unnoticed, Lucy has been keeping her distance from the blond and would stray far from conversations that would either lead her to speaking to the man, or those that would lead her to think of him.

"Don't worry, I'll visit every chance I get—and that's a promise. A Celestial Spirit mage never breaks a promise!" She vowed, holding back her tears. Lucy wanted to part with the Sabertooth mages with a smile on her face—not a tear running down her face.

Sting slowly approached her, before jerking her closer to him—bringing her to a hug. "Stay safe," he whispered though the group could hear him.

She hesitantly brought her arms upward, accepting the warmth offered by the master, "Yes."

Just before she knew it, Orga yelled for a group hug, effectively pulling everyone into a giant mess of an embrace—including the stoic dragon slayer.

"Thank you for a wonderful month, Sabertooth," the blonde said, a warm smile adorning her face. She was answered by varying smiles.

Minerva smiled gently, "Come back."
