Chapter 62

The Third Hokage's Battle

This was it. After all these years it was finally time. Hiruzen never thought he'd face his former student in a setting such as this, but in hindsight the wise old shinobi should have realized that the Snake Sannin would find some way to exact his revenge one day. Hiruzen has known that Orochimaru was active and back in the village for over a month now. The snake was sneaking around the village plotting his moment of revenge and Hiruzen couldn't do anything about it. He had to play on the defense to ensure Orochimaru wouldn't act rashly and attack early.

But looking at the situation right now caused a heavy pressure to settle down on Hiruzen's heart. 'How could I have let things come to this, just how far have you fallen my former student?' Hiruzen wept in his inner thoughts as he felt Orochimaru's grip loosen around his neck. The snake hiding in human skin had a satisfied look on his face as the powerful barrier created by his trusted subordinates went up into the air cutting him and his former sensei off from the rest of the world. It was time for his revenge.

Disgrace, Shame, Disgust, Anger, Regret, Disappointment, and so many more emotions were swirling around in Hiruzen's heart at the moment as he stared down one of the most disgraced traitors in the Hidden Leaf's history. "So, it has finally come to this my old student. I always knew you'd return one day… your vengeance and lust for power makes you predicable, it is a weakness of yours Orochimaru." Hiruzen spoke in disappointment as he watched Orochimaru rip off the fake synthetic face of the now presumed deceased Fourth Kazekage Rasa of the Gold dust. For Chaos's sake and bless her heart Hiruzen thought, the old shinobi knew that Orochimaru would kill of the Kazekage merely on a whim and also as a way to future proof any plans he may have in the future regarding the Land of Wind.

That was just how the twisted yet valid ideology of the Snake Sannin functioned. It was a very shinobi like thing to do, but still despicable considering the person in question implementing these tactics.

"This day was going to happen Sarutobi sensei one way or another and I'm glad it is now. Because not only will you fall but the rest of the village will fall as well. The Hidden Leaf will be no more after my forces wipe it off the face of the map." Orochimaru gloated as he gave a malicious smile to his former master. The older man had a look of righteous anger and disappointment etched onto his wrinkled face as his potent and rich chakra hummed beneath the surface of his skin.

The Legendary Professor was going into an actual life and death battle for the first time in over a decade. "It is a shame Orochimaru, you obviously still have much to learn if you think this force you've brought along is enough to topple the Hidden Leaf Village. We have a strength that your forces could never comprehend or defeat. The Will of Fire burns brightly in all of our shinobi and it will be the only fires to engulf this great village that has stood the test of time." Hiruzen preached as a dense and incredible pressure settled down onto the entire stadium and surrounding area as the Hokage loosened the cap on his dominant chakra reserves.

Orochimaru's eye twitched in discomfort as his body involuntarily sunk forward into a slouch due to the incredible force and pressure his old sensei's chakra was given off. Everyone in the entire village could catch a glimpse of it but only those within the vicinity of the stadium could feel the slight pressure bearing down on them from the aged shinobi. This tense feeling only grew worse as Orochimaru poured out his vile chakra in waves to counteract the power his sensei was unleashing and soon the very building they were standing on started to vibrate and shack noticeable with the shingles on the roof cracking and lifting up into the air between the two Kage level ninja.

"That senile old optimism of yours will be your damnation sensei. The Leaf is no more." Orochimaru retorted as a grin stretched his face in half. With the vantage point provided by the high roof the two-powerful shinobi were on, they could see that massive three headed snake rampaging in the outer districts of the village with a gaping cavernous hole in the great wall that protects the village not far behind it. Hiruzen frowned a little at the vivid scene playing out before him but a small smile came to his face when he sensed Shoko's presence in that direction. Turning back to his old student with a confident smirk in place, Hiruzen prepared himself.

"And I've told you time and time again Orochimaru that underestimating your opponent and not treating them with respect will only inflate your ego and arrogance and lead to your undoing. It appears I'll have to teach you this lesson again and hopefully for the final time." Hiruzen lectured as the shingles below his feet shattered into a million pieces as he finally unshackled the mental hold he had on his chakra.

"Depending on how good your Jutsu is, I might have to send you back to the academy if you fail." Hiruzen taunted as he rocketed off from his spot far faster than anyone has ever seen him go before. "HA! You'll come to find I've learned quite a few new Jutsu's Professor. Allow me to demonstrate them for you!" Orochimaru challenged as he met the Third Hokage's charge with one of his own as both Shinobi raced at each other while going through rapid sequences of hand signs simultaneously and in perfect sync.

"Ninja Art: Roof Tile Shuriken Jutsu!" Hiruzen bellowed as 8 of the many roof shingles lifted from their resting places and spun in the air upon Hiruzen's command. The tiles were like buzz saw as they traveled through the air like a normal shuriken, but this technique was not enough to impress Orochimaru who grinned. "I see we're starting off with the basics sensei. You'll need more than that! Ninja Art: Striking Shadow Snakes Jutsu!" A long dark green snake flew out of Orochimaru's mouth who jumped over the flying barrage of roofing in a single leap.

The large snake flew the through the air at high speeds before it clamped down on Hiruzen's neck in a vice grip. The wise shinobi grimaced in pain as his body stilled for a moment and turned to mud. "A substitution using a mud clone. How nostalgic of you sensei." Orochimaru commented with a chuckle before he suddenly stopped laughing. Turing his head to the side he could see his sensei had maneuvered to his blind spot in the blink of an eye with speed the old man shouldn't possess.

"Earth Style: Earth Flowing Mud River Jutsu!" Hiruzen bellowed as a raging torrent of mud appeared right in front of the Third and smashed right into Orochimaru taking him off his feet in a jarring motion. The snake Sannin screamed in surprise as he flailed around in the raging river.

"Earth Style: Earth Dragon Bomb Jutsu!" Chaining in a new sequence of hand signs the old Kage formed a large dragon head of mud at the top of the river that opened its mouth and launched dozens upon dozens of small densely compacted mud balls that were filled to the brim with the Third Hokage's powerful chakra. But this wasn't all the Hokage had in mind as Hiruzen didn't let up on the hand signs at all as he chained in a third and final sequence which caused his chest to swell in size.

"Fire Style: Fire Dragon Bomb Jutsu!" Hiruzen launched a fiery stream of sporadic flames right into the path of the mud balls igniting them in the process. This cacophony of attacks slammed right into Orochimaru's prone form who screamed in agony as the intensity of the superheated mud could even be felt from outside the barrier as the ANBU agents made note of how the temperature rose a few degrees.

After a minute of this attack Hiruzen cut the chakra he was using to this attack as most of the mud and all of the fire dissipated into thin air. The roof itself was turned into molten tar and slag that was starting to cave the roof itself in. Hiruzen peered out from beneath the ceremonial Kage's hat at the spot he knew his student to be in.

"You can stop the act now Orochimaru. Come on out." Hiruzen requested and he was met with the demented giggles of the Snake Sannin who rose out of the molten slag in a transparent state. The evil shinobi chuckled as he walked away from the destruction his sensei caused while making eye contact with Hiruzen.

"That was fun sensei, but I think the little warm up is finished now. Now we can actually get onto the show don't you agree?" Orochimaru grinned a cruel grin as he started a very specific sequence of hand signs but stopped mid step as he turned to look on the other side of the barrier.

Standing on the roof was none other than Dino himself with the ANBU Commander next to him with his metallic chrome mask gleaming in the sun light. "Oh, what a surprise… another relic of the past has come to join us. Unfortunately for you Lord Dino this was only supposed to be sensei and I's special day. Sorry you weren't invited." Orochimaru taunted as he hid a very small concerned look behind his patented serpentine smile. Dealing with his sensei was already going to be troublesome enough without using the trump card he had planned for the old shinobi, but if Dino wanted to mettle in his affairs and become involved then it could be a serious problem for the Snake Sannin.

The old mafia boss was not someone to mess with and combined with the efforts of the ANBU Commander then Orochimaru's goals would be completely out of his reach. "That is rather unfortunate Orochimaru… I'm not particularly fond of unannounced surprise parties in my home, especially ones that I'm not invited to." Dino chatted back as he eyed the Four Sound Shinobi maintaining the barrier keeping his old friend trapped. Compared to him he knew the four of them combined weren't as strong as him by a longshot, but they could prove troublesome for anyone else.

Orochimaru couldn't resist the grin that came to his face as he taunted the older man. "To bad you won't be able to do anything about this Lord Dino, this party as you call it is happening whether you want it to or not." Dino narrowed his eye at this act of defiance while Hiruzen himself prepared himself for whatever his former student had in store for him. "Don't underestimate me child… you'll come to regret it." Dino warned as his voice took on a deeper edge to it. A red aura of power shimmered into existence around his body.

A frown marred Orochimaru's face once he felt a taste of the power rolling off of Dino's body. There was a reason why no one ever dared to mess with Dino or his Mafia family in any direct manner. Those who do don't typically live to tell the tale about it and if they do they're usually scared for life.

"I agree… that is why I came prepared with a gift for Lord Hokage and any potential guest. Allow us to begin with the main course!" Orochimaru boasted as he bit his finger and went through a unique set of hand signs that alarmed both Hiruzen and Dino for the same exact reason. They recognized those dreaded hand signs and understood the implications behind them.

"No don't Orochimaru!" Hiruzen bellowed as he threw a barrage of real shuriken at his student, but it was to late. "Summoning Jutsu: Reanimation!" Orochimaru had a serpentine smile on his face as he slammed his hand onto the roof. A purple hazy portal opened up at the snake ninja's feet that brought forth a beige colored coffin with the number 1 written on it. A second portal appeared with the same phenomenon happening but this time the coffin had the number 2 written on it.

Realization dawned on the old Hokage's face as he realized just who were in those coffins. Hiruzen's heart sank when he saw not just one more coffin come up but two. Dino who was outside the barrier also recognized what was coming and when he saw one of the coffins have a red spiraling swirl insignia on the front cover of the coffin it caused his old heart to ache in pain and sorrow. Hiruzen saw this as well as the other coffin having the number 4 on it. "Hiruzen stop those last two no matter what!" Dino roared as he clapped his hands together and the red aura around his body flared to life. A panicked expression was on the old mob bosses face as his eyes trailed over to the fourth coffin with the red swirl commonly found on the flack jackets of every shinobi who calls the Hidden Leaf home. What or rather who was inside that coffin was the worst nightmare for any combatant to face. An instant game changer if put into play.

In seconds Hiruzen littered the two rising coffins with dozens upon dozens of shuriken in the single blink of an eye. Going through a quick chain of hand signs Hiruzen extended a restraining sealing array from his feet to the two closest coffins which forced them back into the ground much to Orochimaru's chagrin. "We can't allow them to return now can we Orochimaru. I had no idea you were this desperate to oppose me my student." Hiruzen retorted with a bead of sweat rolling down his cheek. He dodged a bullet with those coffins rising.

The glare that was on Orochimaru's face contorted before lightening up into an amused grin. Orochimaru started to chuckle as he mentally recovered from having two of his surprised taken out of play. "Oh well… I guess it can't be helped… the two that are left are more than enough for you Sarutobi." Orochimaru mused as the lids to the coffins slid off.

The two corpses that walked out of the coffins were two individuals who haven't been seen in the village in over 4 decades. It was the first two people to ever hold the title Hokage. The First Hokage, Hashirama Senju and the Second Hokage, Tobirama Senju.

The First Hokage was a lightly tanned skin tall man with long straight black hair and black eyes. He wore the standard shinobi dress of his era, consisting of dark red armor worn over a simple black suit with sandals. This armor was constructed from numerous metal plates, formed into multiple protective guards along his body; each collar of his shoulder guards bore the Senju symbol.

The Second Hokage was a fair-skinned man with white, shaggy hair and red eyes. He had three red markings on his face, one under each of his eyes and one on his chin. In combat, he wore blue armor with a distinctive white fur collar over a simple black suit. This armor was constructed from numerous metal plates, formed into multiple protective guards along his body. Beneath his shoulder armor he wore two bands on each arm. This clothing was accompanied by sandals and a happuri in place of the more traditional forehead protector. The happuri was initially engraved with the Senju's emblem, which was later replaced with Konoha's.

Both walking corpses were blanketed by caked up dirt, and volumes of decay and rot. Their entire bodies had noticeable cracks spread out across its surface from their skin to the armor and clothes they were wearing. They were truly in a state of decay, but they wouldn't be for much longer as Orochimaru's visage screamed bad intentions.

As Hiruzen gazed at the first two Hokage step out of their coffins the old shinobi couldn't help but get choked up at seeing his predecessors alive again and walking. His heart ached at seeing the two men who shaped his life and raised him into the shinobi he is today.

Orochimaru had a wicked smile on his face as he pulled out two kunai with special talisman like sealing tags attached by a wire to the weapons. The snake slowly submerged the special kunai into the base of the two corpses skulls which had an immediate effect on the bodies. Copious amounts of steam poured out of the two revived Hokage's corpses which sealed up all the cracks along their bodies and evaporated the dust, dirt, and decay caked up due to time while restoring their natural complexion.

Within moments the two Hokage were fully revived and cognitive of their surroundings. "You monster… you demon… they look exactly like I remember them. How could you use the Second Hokage's forbidden Jutsu like this Orochimaru, how far have you fallen?" Hiruzen sobbed as tears well up in his eyes at seeing two people he never thought he'd ever see alive walking again.

"Old man Hashirama… to think I'd see the day you'd walk among us again. This is a crime against nature… Orochimaru what have you done?" Dino growled in anger as he snarled in Orochimaru's direction who had a twinkle of amusement in his eyes which diminished a bit as he saw the raw anger and power swimming within the old mafia boss's eyes.

"You have no idea how satisfying it feels to see the despair on your face as you are cut down by your former masters. I'll be sure to savor this moment for the rest of my life." Orochimaru grinned as he placed his hands in a particular hand sign.

"Hiruzen! Hold on! I'm going to break in!" Dino called out as the red aura around his body flared to live once more giving the old mafia boss an intimidating visage. "Be ready to assist me Puma." Dino mumbled to the stoic ANBU Commander who silently nodded in response. "HA! Don't break your back trying old man! Our barrier is indestructible." A red haired kunoichi said from the Sound Four. They were Orochimaru's personal body guards as well as his elite strike team that he usually sends out for his most prioritized missions due to their power, expertise, and excellent track record or mission successes.

"It's impossible to break in or out of the barrier Lord Dino, you're simply wasting your breath old man. Now just sit back and watch the show." Orochimaru spat back as he activated the seals in the revived Hokage's bodies. Dino narrowed his eyes in challenge to this as a vicious snarl crept across the usually joyful elderly man's face. "You are so naïve Orochimaru… you claim that it is impossible to break through your flimsy barrier, yet you have no idea the kinds of things I have seen in my life time boy. I've broken through far more impressive constructs than the one that stands before me now." Dino rebuked as his power flared around him and concentrated itself around the old mans arms.

"What is he doing?" Orochimaru whispered as he felt the power rolling off the old man that was easily comparable to Hiruzen's own but yet felt different in retrospect. "Do you know why they call me the Dragon of the Leaf, Orochimaru? Allow me to demonstrate it for you!" Dino roared as the red aura around his body centered around his arms and solidified into something that left those who were witnessing this important event speechless. The skin on Dino's arms rapidly started to develop reptilian like scales that were a dull rustic red in color.

Dino's hands turned into reptilian like claws that looked incredibly dangerous in nature. With a growl Dino lunged forward and sunk his claws into the purple barrier which sparked and groaned in protest to this unnatural and unexpected intrusion. Dino didn't seem fazed by this at all as he clenched his hands into a gripping fashion and started to rip into the impervious barrier standing in his way of his old friend. Those who had a clear view of this were left with god smacked expressions on their faces as none of them have seen such a feat of raw power before in their lives. "No way! How is he doing that?" Another of the Sound Four spoke who was a young man with surprisingly enough six arms.

With barely a grunt of exertion Dino pried open a hole in the purplish barrier that caused sparks to fly out in response to this, but the powerful old man didn't relent in the slightest as he teared a large man-sized rift in the barrier that allowed him and commander Puma to slip through before the barrier repaired itself when the Sound Four reinforced it with more of their chakra.

"No way… how is that even possible?" Another of the sound four whispered in complete shock. He was a large man with a chubby face and orange short cut hair in a mohawk that set him apart from his teammates. He had a very shocked expression on his face as he couldn't comprehend how someone could rip a hole in the barrier he and his team have spent so long working on. No opponent to have ever been caught in their barrier has been able to escape, much less through physical means.

"It's unreal…" The last member mumbled with a scathing glare on his face as he wasn't used to seeing such power from his opponents. He was a hunch back young man with bluish tinted grey hair and green lipstick on his lips. On his back was strangely enough a second head hanging limply from the back of his neck. Its face couldn't be seen but it's hair was the same as the young man visible, so it could be assumed that they had similar facial features.

Orochimaru has the greatest expression of shock adoring his face which was a tale tell sign that he wasn't aware of this particular attribute of Dino. Out of the three old pillars of the Leaf Village as these old me are called, Orochimaru has the least amount of intel on Dino. Being Hiruzen's former apprentice and Genin student Orochimaru knew quite a lot about the God of Shinobi and his abilities. Once upon a time Orochimaru was also an agent in Danzō's forbidden shadow organization called ROOT which was an unsanctioned subdivision of the ANBU Black Ops Corps of the Hidden Leaf. Being with the Darkness of Shinobi for a few years allowed the Snake Sannin to learn much about Danzō and what he's like but as for the Mafia, Orochimaru has the least amount of exposure to the crime lord.

Dino was always the one that Orochimaru was the weariest of simply for the fact that he had the least amount of exposure and intel on the man and his abilities. The only concrete thing the Sannin was aware of for a fact was that Dino was just as strong as Hiruzen and Danzō and that was enough to make the missing ninja cautious about how to engage the elderly man should he become a threat. But out of all of his expectations of what made the mob boss a rival to the two-contemporary shinobi who stand at the top of the village.

"A dragon… he's an actual dragon." Orochimaru whispered as he saw Dino along with Puma take a stance besides the Third Hokage. "I know that I'm a betting man, but I see this is a bit one sided and unfair in Hiruzen's favor. I think it best if we even up the odds a bit Orochimaru, I hope you don't mind." Dino interjected with a pleasant smile on his face that didn't quite reach his eyes. Dino lived a lavish life style and over the years he's become quite the robust man with a lot of added weight on him with a small pot belly being noticeable through his robes but that in no way deterred or hampered the old man's ability to fight. Akimichi shinobi are a testament to this fact.

"Of course, not Lord Dino. Why not join a party you were not invited too? You just existing has caused me great stress in my many machinations over the years. Your interference today is no different, but don't think for a moment your help will make a difference." Orochimaru fired back with a dark sneer on his face as he did not plan on engaging Dino in combat today. It was one of the many variables he had to go over of course when he was planning this invasion, but this was not a favorable situation for him.

Retreat was definitely not an option. If he left now, he'd never get another chance at taking Hiruzen's life again. Security would be tripled down and Hiruzen would be much more cautious and aware of his actions. Not to mention the fact he'd have Jiraiya put more time and effort into disrupting his plans which he could not allow to happen at all. Jiraiya was the last person he wanted breathing down his neck. His old teammate was a master at foiling peoples plans and being a nuisance that couldn't afford to be ignored.

Orochimaru had to take this opportunity before him because it was now or never. The insurmountable wall of toppling the legendary professor and God of Shinobi just got infinitely harder, but it wasn't entirely impossible, and it was going to have to be a challenge Orochimaru would have to take.

"I'm glad you could join me in this endeavor my old friend, but this isn't going to be easy. Hashirama and Tobirama sensei are incredibly powerful and as Reanimation's you won't be able to kill them conventionally." Hiruzen stated in warning as dealing with Reanimated Shinobi is one of the most difficult undertakings anyone can take. "I hope you're prepared for this."

Dino chuckled as his power flexed out of him in waves before settling down into a calm but powerful shimmer ready to be unleashed at a moments notice. "I'll take Lord Hashirama for you Hiruzen, overwhelming power against overwhelming power is about all I can offer you. I'm far to old to be getting into a scuffle was a crafty and technical fighter like Lord Tobirama." Dino admitted as he set his sights on the founder and first leader of the Hidden Leaf Village. The legendary First Hokage Hashirama Senju.

Hiruzen gave a brief chuckle at this as he could agree with Dino on that account that Tobirama was a true shinobi. He wasn't afraid to use dirty tactics to win and on top of that he has a large array of Jutsu under his belt that could rival Hiruzen's own. Tobirama was a scholar much like Hiruzen and he was credited with creating many of the mainstream ninjutsu and techniques used by the shinobi today. He was also a perfectionist and worked tirelessly to perfect his craft as a shinobi and refine his skills down to a sharp point making him an efficient and deadly fighter. Hiruzen didn't favor fighting his own sensei. He too felt he was far to old to be doing something so extenuating and technical.

On the other hand, Hiruzen had no intentions of fighting the First Hokage in battle. The man was the very personification of overwhelming power and ingenuity. The man was the first shinobi of the modern era to be dubbed the God of Shinobi for his overwhelming power and raw skills and abilities to traverse any situation imaginable. Blow for blow and raw power for power there wasn't a single shinobi alive today bar a few that could even stand in the same ring as Lord Hashirama and as he felt now Hiruzen felt that his time has passed him by. If he was just ten maybe fifteen years younger then he'd easily pat himself on the back and give himself more hype and praise, but as of now he was just far too old.

"Lord Hokage, I shall take Lord Tobirama on for you. My life is yours to command as you see fit my lord." Puma spoke in his detached and monotone voice that surprisingly enough held a tone of possessiveness, overprotectiveness, and loyalty. Puma actually had an inflection of emotion in his voice and judging by his very minute body language you could easily infer that he and Hiruzen were close. Much more than a regular subordinate and superior officer kind of relationship.

"I know you will Puma, but I especially pray that today won't be the case. The village needs you." Hiruzen said softly as he hardened his heart for what was to come. A life or death battle that he couldn't escape from and one he had no choice but to put a stop to at all cost, less his village suffer the ultimate consequence's. The Third Hokage prepared himself for the ultimate battle as he threw away his Ceremonial Hokage robes to reveal his personal body armor underneath revealing to Orochimaru that he was ready for this inevitable battle and he wasn't as clueless and unaware than some people would speculate. The kanji for Third Hokage was written vertically down the body suit and Hiruzen slid himself down into the famed Iron Monkey Fist Taijutsu style that his clan the Sarutobi Clan made famous. He was ready.

Orochimaru's response to this was to summon his legendary Kusanagi blade in preparation for the battle to come. Just fighting Hiruzen one on one would be challenging enough but now things got a whole lot more complicated. "Today the Hidden Leaf Village will fall sensei and you right along with it. Today is the beginning of the end!" Orochimaru taunted as he held up his hand into the Ram hand sign.

"Attack!" Orochimaru bellowed as the two corpses showed the first signs of true movement as they took short and small unstable steps forward as they slowly grew accustomed to moving. In time their stride picked up before it turned into a full-on shinobi sprint. The Hokage battle royale was on.

Outside the Stadium

On the outskirts of the stadium high up in the patch of trees that overlook the great coliseum a small group of shadowy figures could be seen. Three tall individuals could be seen gazing out onto the stadium from their perch with matching arrogant smirks on their faces.

"Things are finally in motion. While this chaos ensues, I want you three to split up and complete your missions." A tiny feminine voice full of hidden malice and darkness spoke. On one of the three men's shoulders sat a small miniature girl or woman in this case that had long curly black waist length charcoal colored hair with a few streaks of white locks mixed in. She had narrow black eyes and what some may constitute as a pretty and attractive face if not for the plainly apparent devious intentions she had at the moment and the pure waves of animosity she was radiating. She had large pointed elf ears that parted her hair and gave her bangs as well as two front tails of hair. Out of her back was a set of dull rustic colored wings that tapered off at the ends in long strands. Her bottom pair of wing weren't clearly defined as they flared out across her back. Small translucent antennae like appendages flared out from the roots of her wings and hung loosely in the air with her wings.

For clothes the Fairy had on a simple white dress that had many wrinkles in it. It reached about a few inches below her waist and tapered off in random torn edges and hugged her slender frame accentuating her more slender curves. On her arms, she had long sleeved brown leather gloves that reached a few inches above her elbow. On her legs, she also had thigh high leather boots in the same brown color.

This Fairy was Lilith, the same entity that accompanied Orochimaru in confronting Sasuke and Kakashi in the underground chambers of the Chūnin Exam a month prior. She was scared off for a second time by Iris who was also present. She has long since discarded her other disguise that had her with mint green colored hair and a purple dress. She only used that disguise to get close to Evangeline. But with her cover blown she no longer has any use for it when it comes to interactions with the Uzumaki Family.

"Yes mistress. Who do you want me to go after?" The apparent leader of the trio asked who had dark blue colored hair and was adorned in a dragon motif attire. "Ryūra I want you to accompany Kyōra in retrieving Kushina's son as well as spying on the battle he participates in. I'm very curious to see how far he's progressed. As a side note I want you to observe this Sasuke Uchiha for me, I want to know why Orochimaru's interest in this boy extend pass his possession of the Sharingan." Lilith commanded to Ryūra who she was sitting on the head of. He shook his head in conformation to his as his blue colored hair that was tied in a long ponytail swayed in the wind. Kyōra had a smirk on his lipstick covered lips as he flicked a bundle of his ruby red colored hair out of his face.

"It's been far too long since I've seen that young man. I wonder how far he's progressed since his encounter with you Jūra?" Kyōra asked to the last member of the demonic trio who sneered in response. "I wanted to be the one to pick up that little brat. I have to pay him back for the humiliation he caused me on that bridge." Jūra complained as he slammed his hand against the trunk of the tree. "It is of no consequence to me Jūra. You already had your chance at the boy and I need him alive for now. I can't have you killing him by mistake. Just focus on your task and collect the woman. Besides, Kyōra here was the one to originally mark the young boy. Let him be the one to retrieve him." Lilith countered with an indifference to her tone as she gazed out at the large purple barrier surrounding the rooftop of the stadium.

It was pathetically weak to a being such as her but she payed it little mind in exchange for watching the fight that was going on inside it. "And what will you do in the meantime Lady Lilith?" Ryūra asked his mistress who smirked her usual cruel smirk.

"I think I'll stay here and watch this battle unfold. It's not everyday you get to see a dragon in combat even if I know he'll hold back tremendously. Besides even if I hate these humans that old monkey of a leader is incredibly powerful. I can at least respect that. Either way it goes whether Orochimaru succeeds or not the day will end with the little snake running away as he usually does with his tail between his legs and I can't wait to saver that delicious moment of despair on his face." Lilith explained as her mirror materialized below her when she floated off of Ryūra's head.

"As you wish my lady." Ryūra bowed as he and his brothers flexed their muscles. They had a job to do. "Go." Lilith commanded in one word and the three demon brothers disappeared from the tree with dazzling speed. A small static like sound similar to a sonic boom was heard but barely audible over the loud ambient sounds of the chaotic battling going on in the village.

"It's a beautiful day for some hell on earth. I hope this village burns Neo. That should spite you and your little pet Kushina." Lilith seethed out a plague like curse as her body shimmered in barely restrained vengeance and hatred. Her black eyes glowed with the true nature of her animosity as she got herself comfortable to watch the fighting below.

Today everything was going to change.

Jutsu Library

1.) Ninja Art: Roof Tile Shuriken Jutsu - This technique allows Hiruzen to remotely control, levitate and hurl spinning tiles in the nearby area. In addition to being able to control the tiles remotely, he was able to pressurise them with chakra to make them far stronger than normal.

2.) Ninja Art: Striking Shadow Snakes Jutsu - This technique allows the user to eject snakes from their wrist or sleeve, usually after a punching motion. The snakes are used primarily to attack from a distance and, being snakes, can inflict multiple poisonous wounds on the victim's body or hold them in place. The snakes can also open their mouths to extend Kusanagi-like blades. This technique can also be classified as a variation of the Summoning Technique. This technique can also produce snakes from different parts of the user's body.

3.) Earth Style: Earth Flowing Mud River Jutsu - This Jutsu after the respective hand seals are formed, can transform the ground upon which the enemy stands into a river of mud to throw them off balance.

4.) Earth Style: Earth Dragon Bomb Jutsu - When used with Earth Style: Earth Flowing Mud River, this technique can create a dragon-like head to shoot mud balls at an opponent. This can also be combined with a fire technique to shoot searing hot mud towards an opponent.

5.) Fire Style: Fire Dragon Bomb Jutsu - The user kneads their chakra into flames, which are then manipulated into a genuine-looking dragon. Since the art of having the flames obey the user's will is outrageously difficult, its mastery is restricted to a limited number of skilful shinobi. The flames are divided to launch a left side, right side, and frontal assault in all three directions at once, turning the enemy into ash in a matter of seconds. It can also be used in the form of a generic high pressured flamethrower.

6.) Summoning Jutsu: Reanimation - The technique binds the soul of a deceased person to a living vessel, restoring them as they were when they were alive in order to do their summoner's bidding. It was originally created by Tobirama Senju, some time after which he declared it a kinjutsu.

Author's Note (A/N): Hey guys how was that? This chapter was pretty tough to write as I was slammed with writer's block right before christmas and the holidays. But I'm happy I got over it just in time for the new years. It's a short chapter but a lot has happened as Hiruzen prepares for the battle of his life. But he's not alone. Dino and ANBU Commander Puma are with him in a twist of fate to lend him a hand. Will it make a difference and if it does what kind of things can we expect from the unexpected help.

As of now it is confirmed that Dino is a Dragon. I've kept this a closely guarded secret and I've only dropped the tiniest of hints to this as I wanted to spring this on you all as a quick surprise. Dino is a dragon and a strong one at that as he looks down on Orochimaru for his childish ambitions. Puma is also in the picture and I've given him a little extra to his character and background. Time will quickly tell us more about the commander. Orochimaru is going to have his work cut of for him now that his plans have been heavily altered beyond the scope of what he originally wanted. No one will be able to help him in this, not the Sound Four and most definitely not Lilith.

Speaking of which Lilith is back and she has all three of the Demon brothers with her. What are her plans and what does she truly want? Time will also quickly tells us more about this elusive and powerful Fairy who has an intense grudge of hatred against the Uzumaki family. She mentions some interesting things that are sure to get your mind's racing so I hope to see some theories in the reviews below.

I hope you all enjoyed 2017 and I hope to see everyone in 2018!
