Author's Note (A/N): Hey guys back once more with quite the monumental chapter as a character teased well over 20 chapters before has finally made his debut. This chapter is quite the monumental marker for the story as a whole as it is well over 25,000 words in content making it without a doubt besides certain chapters like the original prologue for the first story the longest chapter in the story and also as far as part 2 is concerned it is the longest chapter by word count. A lot happens in this chapter as we hit several different plot points and cover a lot of bases.

Kurama has been making a lot of appearances lately in the story and prepare for that to be the norm moving forward as his relationship towards Naruto will be explored in depth and expanded upon as time goes on. Their interactions will be far different than in canon as you can already tell as they will be on speaking terms from even now as opposed to the later half of Shippuden. This new character was first created back in Chapter 53 and now here in Chapter 87 he will finally get the spotlight that has been coming to him.

So sit back, relax, and enjoy!

Chapter 87

Meeting a Familiar

"You really are pathetic… aren't you?" This deep and heavily annoyed voice belonged to none other than Kurama who was staring down at Naruto's prone form in the sewer system that the massive Tailed Beast has called his home for as of recently the last 13 years at this point. The blond haired Jinchūriki was leaning against the steel bars of his cage once more with his eyes overshadowed by his bangs. Passed out again… this was not the type of record Naruto wanted to leave behind.

"And you just love to torment me, don't you?" Naruto snapped back in irritation as he didn't need his tenant digging his claws into his bruised pride and ego once again. He did what he had to do to protect his friends and clients. He wasn't ashamed of that in any way… he just wished that he didn't have to pass out every time he was forced to push past his limits. It was honestly starting to grate on his nerves.

"Well honestly it is the only form of entertainment that I have since I've been imprisoned against my will mind you." Kurama pointed out while lazily looking down at Naruto's small form near him. The great fox's eyes were apathetic at best with a hint of malice and annoyance coloring his view. He wasn't expecting to see Naruto again so soon… and to such similar circumstances at that. He didn't know if this was simply coincidence or if this event was foretelling of the young boy setting a trend and precedent for always putting himself in harm's way. Whatever the case may be the orange fox wanted nothing to do with it.

"Ugh… are you back on that again fox!? I'm not letting you out of this cage! Where would you even go afterwards!? Would you finish what you started and destroy the village?" Naruto grumbled in displeasure as this was not the type of conversation he was inclined to have with his tenant. They've already touched on this the other day when they had their last conversation. He was not letting the strongest Tailed Beast in the world out of his cage just on a simple whim. The chaos and imbalance that it would cause would turn the world upside down. With the current location that they were in the Hidden Cloud Village would surely try to capitalize on capturing the Nine Tailed Fox as fast as they could, and they would have a major head start on the Hidden Leaf who would have to travel a very long way to even do something about the problem.

The worst-case scenario that no one would even want to think about would be if someone here in the Land of Snow was powerful enough to capture and seal away the Nine Tails and turn one of their residents into a Jinchūriki. That would upset the balance of the world to such an extent that it would surely lead to conflict or an outright war. There was already a tangible imbalance in the fact that the Hidden Waterfall Village had the Seven Tail's in its possession despite the fact it's a minor country and village. With Fū now under the secret protection of Naruto and the Land of Whirlpools it's shifted the global balance of power once again. Naruto's just been counting his luck that he wasn't discovered to be the culprit.

This was a secret that he's been holding onto ever since Fū and Karin decided to come along on his rescue mission. As residences of Hōrai Island they technically fell under the jurisdiction of the Hidden Leaf Village since Naruto was still an active member. This was something that Naruto was going to have to talk to Tsunade about once he got back from the mission. Now the Hidden Leaf had two Jinchūriki under its banner which has never once happened before in the entire history of the village. This was a major boon for them and the fact that Fū was already fairly skilled and powerful for her age with a better grasp and relationship with her Tailed Beast than even Naruto would surely benefit the village immensely.

As things stood now Naruto wasn't inclined to let the great fox out of his seal. That would only breed disaster on a world scale. The most powerful Tailed Beast already had enough power in it to wipe any of the villages off the face of the earth with little difficulty. Letting him out now would be suicide… literally… since Naruto would die from the extraction.

A growl escaped Kurama's throat as he glared down at the tiny boy before him with malice and hatred in his eyes. "If you keep bringing that up I may as well do so human! All I want is my freedom and to go home!" Kurama roared as he lunged forward and grabbed Naruto with his massive clawed hands before pulling up to be face to face with the angry Tailed Beast. A low continuous growl emanated from Kurama's throat while Naruto's eyes were wide in panic and fear. He was now on the other side of the cage and face to face with the strongest of the Tailed Beast. This was not how he thought his day was going to go. "Home…? Where is that?" Naruto stuttered out as he tried to pry himself loose from his confines, but the fox's grip was more powerful than anything he's ever felt before. The fact that his hand was also the size of a large house also didn't do him any favors either.

"Have you forgotten already you dimwit! Hōrai Island is my home human and if I could I would return." Kurama answered truthfully with a harsh glare directed at Naruto who suddenly became sill in his grip. A sad and understanding look replaced the fear that he was feeling moments earlier. "I'm sorry… I didn't know you felt that strongly about the island. You must really miss that place huh?" Once more a growl was echoing throughout the dank sewer of Naruto's seal, but a softer look was in the resident Tailed Beast's eyes as it glared down at Naruto.

"Do not get sentimental with me brat! I do not need your-!" Kurama began to rant but his harsh words were cut in half by Naruto who spoke up with an interjection. "What if I could find a safe way to release you and take you home with me?" Naruto blurted out suddenly surprising even himself at the absurd proposal he just made. He wasn't sure what brought that on exactly, that was a massive promise to make on such an empty whim. The Nine Tailed Fox was a force of nature that has been sought after in the world for many years. It couldn't just be allowed to roam free unintended as the governments would undoubtedly want some insurance policy to control it. The fox would never be left alone to its freedom and solitude.

"Come again… I don't think I heard you brat?" Make no mistake. This question was asked with a sharp edge of sarcasm in Kurama's voice that had an undertone of malice and danger to it. The great fox was not amused in the slightest to have such a proposal shoved in its face like that. Freedom was all that it ever wanted after the recent circumstances in its life and it would not be taunted with its greatest desire so casually. Son of Kushina or not he would kill Naruto and escape from his prison if he was being toyed with by the young boy.

"I'm being serious… Hōrai Island is your home as you say and if we work together then maybe one day, we could modify the seal in some way to let you out of here without killing me. I'm the Shī-ō of the island to begin with so it's not like the place is out of your reach anymore. I'm going to be going there a lot from now on so you'll always share in those experiences with me and maybe one day it could be to an even larger extent if I can somehow master Fūinjutsu." Naruto explained to Kurama who shimmered in turmoil over how to respond to Naruto's statement.

It wasn't one he was expecting to hear from the young shinobi who was the son of his previous Jinchūriki. He would expect something like this from Kushina when she was alive as they had a very close relationship. The relationship that they shared was even stronger than the one he had with Mito back in the day. Him and Mito were very solidary and distant with each other to a certain extent as the circumstances surrounding his sealing into the wife of the First Hokage were very dire and circumstantial. He hated how things were back then.

In comparison Kushina was a ball of sunshine that wormed her way inside his heart without his consent. She was beloved by everyone in the village and was the pride of the Hidden Whirlpool Village. As their princess and future Shī-ō Kushina had a lot to live up too and she made it a point to get along with the great Tailed Beast that lived in Mito. Once Kurama was transferred to Kushina the young princess immediately began to poke and prod at the massive fox who was initially annoyed with the young girl but after spending more than a decade with the feisty and energetic redhead, Kurama could honestly say that he had opened his heart up to the human girl who he would never be caught dead saying he loved. The care and respect that she showed to him over the years was enough to earn her his respect and loyalty.

Now in retrospect he hasn't had a very strong or long-lasting relationship with Naruto since they've only had three conversations up until this point with this current one being the fourth. He's seen the life Naruto has lived up until this point and in the deepest part of his heart Kurama was sorry for the terrible circumstances the boy has had to live through. It hurt him deeply that the son of his closest human friend was suffering from his involvement but at the same time Kurama was very angry at the fact he was sealed away once more in such terrible circumstances.

He hated the fact he was sealed away without his freedom. To promise him such a thing was a dangerous proposition considering the fact that it has been all he's ever wanted for 13 years. "That is a very dangerous thing to promise me… especially since it is something you can't guarantee. My freedom is not a bargaining chip for you to dangle in front of my face boy!" Kurama roared to a shaken Naruto who was trying to keep his composure in check. One wrong move and he could be killed.

"I'm not trying to deceive you. From our last conversation the other day you gave me the impression that not everything is as it seems regarding the night I was born. I'm not totally convinced that you are some kind of evil being without a conscience. You have emotions and desires. You're civil and sentient. Until proven otherwise I can't help but feel responsible for the way you are living right now. There's no way for me to release you as I am now, I'm not powerful enough and I lack the knowledge of a master level Fūinjutsu user like my mother and father to unseal you safely. I doubt even if there was a safe way to do it that I'd survive since I need you for that. But even if there is only a slight percent of a chance for this to work then I'm willing to do so." Naruto declared with a conviction nestled into his voice that moved the great fox and actually got him to loosen his grip on Naruto in return.

"And why would you go out of your way for someone like me boy? What do you have to gain from this?" Kurama asked in suspicion as he wouldn't put all of his trust so easily into Naruto right off the bat. He wanted to see inside of his heart first. Hearing such a question being directed at him got Naruto's mind and heart spinning. He knew exactly what his motivations were now for moving forward with such an endeavor and he would need to be steadfast and honest in his convictions if he were to prove himself to the Nine Tailed Fox inside of him. "Because… I don't like the idea of holding someone else's life in my hand like this. You're at my whim. If I were to die, then you would too, and I hate that. Even to this day I'm still very uncomfortable with the relationship that I share with Aria and now more recently with my people back on Hōrai Island. I don't like such a concept as I'm not better than anyone else and I don't ever think I am. I can't see myself living a life with others subjugating themselves to me. Everyone deserves their freedom and that includes you too." Naruto answered truthfully and with a sincerity in his voice that gave Kurama pause.

'This boy… it disturbs me greatly how much he is like you Kushina. The selflessness and compassion that you peace loving humans like to spew out. Yet just like you I see a fire in his eyes that he would gladly use to back up his words. Words that I can't help but want to believe in.'

The great Nine Tailed Demon Fox didn't know what to say after such a statement from his current host as his large muzzle like mouth hung open ever so slightly. Naruto's whole demeanor and drive as an individual was almost identical to Kushina's. His more softer protective side that comes out in defense of others and his more aggressive and vicious side that comes out in the face of his sworn enemies. It was a lot to see as Kurama could also see the shades of Minato reflecting inside of Naruto. The Fourth's shrewd and legendary intellect and intelligence as well as his own stone-cold convictions and determinations.

Naruto was the perfect blend between his parents and that alone shook Kurama greatly. "Those are some very big words boy… do you think yourself capable of backing them up?" Kurama noted to Naruto who was staring back up at him with a fire in his eyes. "I can if you are willing to give me a chance."

Silence.

Silence carried itself throughout Kurama's cage and the rest of the boiler room as the two polar opposite beings stared down one another with their convictions set in stone. Neither of them budged an inch for well over a minute before Naruto suddenly found himself being lowered to the ground by Kurama's claw. "Very well. You intrigue me greatly Naruto Uzumaki. I do not know what our futures will hold for each other, but it is sure to be an interesting one of that I'm sure of. I will lend you a portion of my chakra for free in exchange for you taking regular trips to Hōrai Island to let me see my home." Kurama offered to Naruto who wore a shell-shocked expression on his face that slowly began to morph into a look of respect and determination.

"I'll do you one better. I'll make an honest attempt to study up on Fūinjutsu to see if there is a way to modify the seal to a state where we are both comfortable and I'll find you a place on the island that you can call your own once more." Naruto added on as a grin came to the fox's face at this act of generosity. "Is that so… very well then. It is a deal that I shall hold you too." Kurama declared as he held out his fist towards Naruto who after a moment of pause extended his forward and bumped fists with the great fox who settled down into a comfortable lax position with his head resting against his arms.

"Nine Tails… do you know anything about the Black Sun?" This was a question asked after what seemed like an hour of silence. The atmosphere was comfortable between the two beings so far and so Naruto decided it would be best to take it easy for a while. But now he had to get back to business and with the threat of the Black Sun being involved this was a situation he couldn't just so easily ignore. He was going to need to become proactive in this endeavor.

'The Black Sun…?' That was a name Kurama hasn't heard in a long time. That criminal organization were pests that in the past even tried to harass him back during the Warring States Era. They've existed for that long and back then they extorted the great strife and turmoil happening in the world to grow their criminal empire out. At one point in time a rowdy group of those criminals even attempted to capture him which clearly did not work out in their favor. Kurama brutally killed them and smashed their little hideout that he happened to be resting near at the time.

Those criminals were persistent over the years and they caused a lot of problems for anyone who became involved with them. "Those meddlesome pests are an infestation on this planet. They're everywhere. I'm already aware of your involvement with the Mafia but what do you want to know about them?" The fox asked in curiosity as he would admit that he wasn't paying much attention to Naruto's latest fight with the Hidden Snow Ninja. He was taking a nap and since Naruto only began to siphon off his chakra towards the very end of the conflict Kurama never took a heavy interest in the fight since he didn't have much context to go on.

"I had a run in with them back in Firebend Town a little while back and now I just saw that a ship bearing their emblem is all the way up here helping the enemy Snow Ninja. Things aren't as simple as I would have thought they could be and with these prototypes that I'm to deliver to our client up here on Lord Dino's orders still in play it's left me in a bind. Our client is supposed to meet me during the course of this mission on his own terms but if our enemy has tech that we made then it could mean any number of things." Naruto explained with a slightly frustrated and confused plight etched into his voice that did little to hide how much his emotions were in turmoil. It was a confusing situation to be put in and he held doubts that he was qualified enough to handle this problem.

Kurama in the meantime took the opportunity to contemplate everything told to him. It was a tricky situation for anyone to be in and it would be no different for Naruto. "Anything to do with that old dragon will always be difficult in nature, trust me on that brat. The best that you can do for now is to stay vigilant and be on the look out for this client of yours. You already know about the enemies tech, so the element of surprise has been diminished." Kurama explained in a simplified manner as any situation that had Dino's hand in it was inherently a messy problem that caused trouble for those involved. The great Tailed Beast remembered the old dragonoid man well from his past during the time the village was being established and at one point in time Kurama even had the pleasure of fighting the Mob boss in a battle. Needless to say, it was a destructive affair that caused a lot of collateral damage to the area around them.

"You know about Mr. Dino?" Naruto inquired with a peaked interest as he would admit that with all the time that he has spent with the old mob boss over the years he has not learned anything to substantial about the enigmatic man. Most of his secrets have continued to remain a secret as has most of his past.

Kurama huffed in amusement and inner irony with a roll of his eyes. "I know more about that man and his family than you realize boy, but enough about him. In the real world we have reached the mainland of the Land of Snow and I must inform you that the strange energy signature that we have been sensing is on the move." The fox responded as it adjusted its head on its crossed arms to be more comfortable. About a day and a half has passed since the battle on the iceberg and as of now The Dawn Theatre has finally reached the country that they've been traveling to for well over a month now.

On Kakashi's strong recommendation the pleasure cruiser did not end up docking at the main capital city of Nova Auroras for the experience Jōnin's fear that the Hidden Snow Village would have both active ninja and spies patrolling every corner of the great city. Instead the ship docked ten miles away from the capital in a small alcove port township called Shirakawa.

After the attack they suffered the director Makino wasn't so inclined to disagree with Kakashi's advice on the matter and so the ship and its occupants were hidden in the small marina of the town. The silver haired Jōnin spent the next hour scouring the small village for any hidden moles, spies, or ninja and after finding nothing of the sort he signaled to the crew that the coast was clear. Production was to be kept to a minimum and just outside of the town on the side that was closest to the marina in case they had to leave quickly. Makino once again didn't complain as the current location that they were in provided him with great scenery and filming locations.

Everything was perfect for him as the crew began their production. All that was left was to wake Naruto up once again. "Is it a danger to us?" Naruto questioned in a cautious tone since at this point, he was not in the mood to be taking chances anymore considering the amount of times he's been hurt in this mission alone and in the last few weeks. From this point forward for the rest of the mission he was going to let his girls join in on the actual fighting and heavy lifting. He couldn't afford to go down again especially now knowing about the Black Sun's involvement.

"That remains to be seen boy…" Kurama mysteriously chuckled with his eyes glowing an ominous red just as Naruto felt his consciousness returning to the real world.

Land of Snow / Azure Tundra

At the same time this was happening an interesting reaction was happening to the little fox like creature in its cave. The energy that it was sensing from all this time was on the move and it was here in the Land of Snow. It felt stronger and brighter than ever now that it was so close. It was finally time to go and look for this intoxicating source of power that stirs its soul so much.

Leaving it's cave with the intention of never returning the little four-legged creature takes off into the inhospitable wasteland that was the Azure Tundra. Human's would barely have what it takes to survive in this harsh environment and only the most hardy of animals and creatures called this place home. Hopefully if he could find his creator then it would have a new place to call home. Trudging through the snow filled wasteland for hours the incredibly intelligent creature stopped near a steep cliff that lead out of the tundra. There were tracks in front of it.

It recognized some of these footprints. One set belonged to goblins like the ones that foolishly stumbled into its den the other day. From its count he counted three of them. Next were two large sets of footprints. He's dealt with at least one of these creatures before out on a hunt. They wore very big and burly and quite difficult to wound but their size was their ultimate downfall when facing off against such a small creature like it. The last was the most interesting and perhaps the most alarming to the curious fox like animal.

A staggered trail of what he could only describe as eight-foot prints dotted the snow-covered ground in front of it and there were three sets of these tracks. The heart of the little creature sped up in worry and panic. Only one kind of thing in the Azure Tundra made those kind of tracks and the only place it's ever encountered the owner of those tracks was in the forbidden valley that it vowed to stay away from. He only had one encounter with those creatures and he barely escaped with his life. They were far too powerful for it to take on, especially since he is a recent newborn and was still getting used to his powers.

These tracks were leading out of the Azure Tundra and heading down a familiar path that the creature knew would take it to the distant outpost village called Shirakawa Town. He only ventured down there a few times to check the place out as it was far enough away from the capital city of Nova Auroras that the creature felt safe in getting a closer look at a human settlement. Following the trail for over three hours the creature was starting to get bored but a new development in the tracks he was following caught its attention.

He was in a wooded area filled with frosted trees and vegetation and a small cleared out clearing had burnt trees and destroyed ground. The place was a mess and the tracks scattered all over the place in every direction which caused caution to well up within the little hunter. A battle took place here and no ordinary battle at that. Most creatures and inhabitants in the north pole were ice elementals in nature and as such they typically couldn't cause scorch marks and fires to their surroundings by using their powers. Whatever burnt these trees fought off the tribe of demonic creatures it was tracking. Looking around the clearing it began sniffing the area with its nose in conjunction with the use of its ears and bangles which acted as feelers that gave it a sixth sense to search the battle ground for any new information that it could potentially gleam.

After a few minutes its efforts would be rewarded as it picked up a trail leading deeper into the forest and closer to Shirakawa Town. The prey these demons were hunting must have survived the initial encounter here in this clearing and fled to the town for refuge. He found a new set of tracks that was new to the development. He didn't recognize them at first but after jogging its intelligent memory the answer came to him. These were the tracks that horses left behind by their hooves. So, the prey escaped on horseback and looking further into the matter the little hunter discovered patches of blood in a trail leading out of the clearing. Due to the environment they were in it was dried up by now but that didn't matter. The prey was injured and fleeing to safety. That meant that if things didn't change soon that prey would eventually be captured and killed by the demonic tribe of demons.

This was something that it just had to investigate… he could sense it's creator's energy in the direction of Shirakawa which meant that he was getting close. If he followed this trail of destruction, then it would lead him straight to its goal. With that endgame in mind the little fox hunter took off with renewed vigor as it spent nearly two hours following the trail down the mountaintop and out of the wildlands. Standing on top of a nearby mountain the little creature could see the little settlement of Shirakawa Town hitched in a small valley by the coast keeping it hidden from view. It's destination was close at hand and taking off it came across a strange trail not to long afterwards.

It was a thick metallic track buried into the ground and there were two of them. The trail he's been following all day turned onto this new passageway and was making its way towards the town. Just as it was about to take off a bright beacon of energy flew into the air that resonated within its soul. A ball of purple flames exploded high in the sky and with it the creature could detect a massive flare of power that eclipsed everything he's ever felt up until this point. It was it's creator… it was here… and it was in a battle.

Before it could take off another sight caught its attention that gave it pause. A massive trail of footprints were cutting across the tracks and was making a beeline straight for Shirakawa Town. The direction the demonic tribe was taking in its pursuit of its prey would take it around the valley to the opposite end of the town while this horde of what the creature could identify as goblins was taking the hard way by going down the steep cliffs to make it to town… a path the intelligent creature knew the injured prey that he's been tracking could never travel down due to its injuries which is why it decided to take the mysterious metallic passageway the long way around towards town. It was the prey's only option.

Now an ultimatum had to be made… a horde the size of the one these goblins were traveling in would pillage a village the size of Shirakawa with little difficulty. This town didn't have any warriors with that familiar energy signature that it could feel coursing through its veins protecting it so the town would be destroyed and from prior knowledge and experience it's learned of what became of humans that the goblins took… particularly females. It wasn't a secret on how the goblins reproduce so fast.

Should it go towards where it knew its creator was or should it go off and kill the horde that was no doubt going to attack the town. Ordinarily the little fox wouldn't care about the fate of a human settlement, but a strange feeling was welling up within its heart. A desire to protect the town. He didn't understand this feeling at all, but he suspected that it was coming from its creator. If that was the case and his creator had a desire to protect this human settlement, then so be it.

With a choice firmly in mind the little fox took off for Shirakawa Town at a blistering speed. It's waited all this time to meet its creator… it could wait an extra few minutes in the end while it busied itself with slaughtering this horde. It's never gone up against this many goblins before… but he would make them all tremble and fear him.

A loud fear inducing roar shook the valley as a tiny little apex predator made a beeline straight for its own prey.

Land of Snow / Shirakawa Town

"You just had to go get yourself hurt again boy, didn't you?" A tired and aggravated growl escaped Naruto's lips as he glared up at Jean who was once again giving him grieve that he did not need. "I really don't need this right now Jean." Naruto huffed as he stood before his most staunches critic in the mafia organization. The two never got along for as long as Naruto has been apart of the organization and that fact has never changed despite the fact the two blondes had a begrudging respect for each other's talents as agents.

This was quite the typical scene between the two agents and now was no different, but an argument was not what Naruto needed right now and so after a few minutes of bickering he managed to rally everyone's attention back onto the task at hand. "What are we going to do about the Black Sun? If they are involved in this then we need to find a way to neutralize them." Naruto probed as he was very concerned about the involvement of this international criminal organization.

A report was already sent back to the village about the dangers they've encountered on their mission to both the Hokage and Dino respectively and with the sheer distance that they have to cover the large team wasn't expecting to hear a response back for a long time.

"I'm not sure, if we find their ship, we can sink it and capture their crew. I have no doubt they are somehow responsible for giving those snow ninja our tech. Perhaps they have secretly been intercepting our cargo and caravans over the years. There could be any number of reasons or theories about how this all came about but what is most important of all at this time is finding them and stopping them." Jean resolved with a deep scowl on his face as he also did not expect to have a run in with the Black Sun all the way up at the north pole. It was the last thing anyone was expecting.

"We should also take into account that our contact here in the Land of Snow might be compromised… speaking of which we should be meeting him soon here in town." Jose tacked on as the client here in the Land of Snow was a rising scientist and engineer who was working with the royal family of the Land of Snow to develop new technology away from the prying eyes of the rest of the Elemental Countries that would help benefit the world as a whole. The secluded nature and vast distance of the Land of Snow would provide the security and privacy that Dino wanted. He and Hiruzen back when he was still alive wanted to bring about a technological revolution to help bolster the village and eventually the rest of the world at large.

Back then Dino was only able to supply the village with so much money when it was still crippled during its recovery period from the Nine Tails attack. He was able to stimulate the economy and get the village back on its feet but most of his money has actually been tied up in his other secret projects with the collaborative business deal he has with the frozen country being the most financially taxing. This endeavor was important to Dino and as such if there was any foul play involved then the agents here on the ground would get to the bottom of it.

"Before that happens, I need to know how we plan to stop those Hidden Snow shinobi?" Kakashi's voice interrupted as he voiced his own opinion on the matter. He did not fancy a round two with that mercenary group since he knew they would come at them harder next time. Their chakra armor made them dangerous opponents to face and since they were on their turf where their Jutsu's had the terrain advantage Kakashi did not want to risk any of his students getting injured or killed. Naruto himself has already suffered extensive injuries so far and as his second in command that was unacceptable. The danger level of this mission was already an A – Rank just based off of the pay and the high value of Yukie Fujikaze being a world-famous celebrity. Now the actual danger to them was warranted that of an A – Rank since they were dealing with high level enemy ninja. Once again, his team was in the middle of a mission that they were in way over their heads with.

Kakashi was starting to think that his team were fated to be trouble magnets to unforeseen dangerous situations like this. When missions start to go sideways like this it usually meant a teammate could get injured or killed and Kakashi has seen far too many of those instances in his lifetime. He promised himself to be extra vigilant from this point forward and privately he knew that Naruto was currently under an immense amount of stress. Things weren't exactly good for the young Chūnin and he resolved to talk to the son of his former sensei once everything was settled. That same sentiment would be shared in particular with Sasuke as well since he was also in a very troubling spot. Kakashi had a lot on his plate but he would go through it all one situation at a time.

"I have a few thoughts in mind, but one might be for me to make a seal capable of nullifying their suits. It will take me some time though so I should get started right away." Naruto suggested with a look of contemplation on his face since he was still learning the ins and outs of high tier Fūinjutsu. With his Uzumaki blood and heritage flowing through his veins Naruto was now more confident in his ability to actually create new seals. Though since he was pressed for time, he would probably consult Miya once more on how to go about creating such a seal.

It was an adequate solution to the problem and with that Kakashi pulled Naruto off to side to have a squad meeting with Sakura and Sasuke. They had two enemy snow ninja that Sakura fought against who survived the explosion from her final attack. They needed to be interrogated for the information that they had and while Naruto initially volunteered to help Kakashi in this endeavor the experienced Jōnin declined the young Shī-ō's offer. He wanted Sakura and Sasuke to get their hands dirty in this darker aspect of their job. It was a heavy order to ask of his students but Kakashi couldn't afford to take it easy on them. Though they were still Genin and young in age those statistics didn't translate over to their actual skill and abilities as shinobi.

Sasuke was a prodigy and a highly capable ninja right out of the academy and as things stand now, he is currently high Chūnin level and was soon to be approaching low Special Jōnin level soon. Kakashi estimated that by the end of the year or into the next one that Sasuke would be at such a level. If he could successfully complete this mission and a few others and place them under his belt Kakashi was certain that Sasuke would be offered a field promotion to the rank of Chūnin like Naruto, Hinata, and Shikamaru was as he was more than ready for the increase in responsibility and his skills already reflected such a distinction. Sakura herself was now breaking into the level of a Chūnin with her new and improved skills that she's been developing. He was proud of her miraculous improvements to herself and that warranted praise. However, now was the time to push her in her development as a ninja. She was always the softest and most skittish of the team when it came to the more grittier aspects of their job. He wanted to see how they would handle such tasks.

In retrospect Naruto was asked to sit in on this task and be there for his teammates. Complying with the request in his own way Naruto sent a shadow clone to watch over his teammates while he began work on creating some prototype suppression seals to help them combat the enemy snow ninja. They would need every advantage that they could get against their foe, especially since the notion of getting any backup was far removed by at least 2000 miles of land and ocean. They were on their own and would continue to be for quite a while. They needed to handle this mission on their own with the resources and ingenuity that they currently had at their disposal.

As far as the interrogation went, it yielded surprising results. With Sasuke's ever maturing Sharingan he was able to place his target under a strong Genjutsu which compelled him to reveal all of his secrets. As for Sakura she had a plethora of Genjutsu at her own disposal that she made liberal usage of against her own captive who just so happened to be the individual she placed a paper bomb on. His entire leg was missing along with severe damage to his other leg and lower torso but with Iris on scene she was able to stabilize him just enough to save his life.

Kakashi had a lot of skills and tidbits of advice that he needed to impart to his two students in this lesson and because of that it wasn't perfect or clean by any sense of the word. Sasuke himself had some prior experience in this field after secretly spying on Naruto interrogating the Tengu demon from many months back even though the blond-haired boy asked him to leave. As for Sakura she needed a guiding hand in the form of Kakashi with Naruto offering up his wise tips from his years of experience in this field. When your older surrogate sister figure just so happens to be Anko who is a lead interrogator for the ANBU then you learn to pick up on a few tricks.

In the end they learned some valuable information. A man named Dotō Kazahana who was the current Daimyō of the Land of Snow was the true leader behind the Hidden Snow Village that was more of a mercenary militia than a fully functioning and self-sustaining hidden village. The ninja there were almost all under his payroll with very few having the guts to voice a difference in opinion to his cut throat regime and with 10 years to his reign under his belt Dotō had very little to worry about in the form of dissidence.

Upon hearing Dotō name all of the pieces came crashing together within Kakashi's mind about the enigmatic man's involvement in this situation. The Copy Ninja was quick to impart his own prior knowledge about the current Daimyō to the rest of his team with some of the film crew listening in promptly which included Yukie Fujikaze's personal manager Sandayū Asuma. 10 years prior when Kakashi was still a member of the village's ANBU forces he was sent on a long-distance S – Rank mission up to the Land of Snow to shed light on rumors that had reached the ears of the Land of Fire about a potential coup. The Hidden Snow Village was a very young and new village that was just sprouting up following the conclusion of the Third Shinobi World War and in light of the Nine Tails incident that culminated in the destruction of the village and the loss of the Fourth Hokage, as well as the Hyūga Affair not even three years later it became a focal point of interest to the council of the village to scout out any potential future enemies to the village now that it was in an incredibly vulnerable and weakened state.

Kakashi being one of the premiere operatives of the ANBU force working directly for Hiruzen at the time was sent on this mission to the distant land that never participated in any of the three major world wars due to the sheer distance anyone would have to cross to get there and the relatively unimportant strategic value any nation would have dealing with the polar caps of the world. The polar country of the Land of Snow was spared the brutality and suffering of the era of world wars that ravaged the continent of the Elemental Countries. What Kakashi stumbled upon was a full-on coup led by Dotō Kazahana that ended with the death of the rightful ruler Sosetsu Kazahana the older brother to the usurper who now had a stranglehold on the country.

The mercenary team that Team 7 just encountered were some of the very earliest ninja produced by the infant village that served Dotō and his whims. Kakashi barely managed to escape with his life as he rescued the crown princess Koyuki Kazahana and fled the country with little other choice. After returning her to the village she was released from Kakashi's custody and after that her fate was out of his hands and mind. As an ANBU you don't become attached to the mission or the clientele you are given, and it is not your prerogative to follow up with anything associated with your last mission. Kakashi especially took this to heart as his very heart itself was beyond crushed with the sheer amount of losses that he suffered over the course of the previous years. He forgot all about Koyuki by the very end of that week after bringing her back to the village.

However, not even six months later a new child actress made her debut onto the world stage of cinema with her breakout role in a blockbuster movie under the name Yukie Fujikaze. The appeal of cinema movies in general was making a return now that the world war was over, and it was a way to bring light back into the bleak world. The very first movie to be made in this new time of peace just so happened to feature the breakout star which instantly garnered her fame and recognition for her brilliant performance as the world at large needed something positive to latch onto following all of the death and bloodshed that tore their lands apart.

With these puzzle pieces pulled together Naruto then joined the conversation as he went back over documents alongside Jean, Jose, and Victor over the mafia and its own past history. The Black Sun had become particularly active during that time period right around the date that Kakashi had provided them. The world-wide crime syndicate began moving and operating in strange ways that the Jasmine Dragon Mafia was unable to decipher back then. Ships known to be allied and used by the Black Sun began to disappear off of their normal trade and travel routes with supplies and key named members also beginning to preoccupy their own time with new unknown tasks.

Now it all made sense…

The nefarious criminals partnered with Dotō and helped fund and build the Hidden Snow Village and provided him with the necessary means and manpower to pull off his coup with success. The economic boost that the country as a whole received in the following decade was largely attributed to the new-found presence of the black market in the snowy hills of the north pole that generated a massive influx of money and power but at the cost of the dignity and soul of its people. No one spoke up about what happened to their beloved ruler and nothing could be done about it due to the distances the north pole had from the affairs of the rest of the world. None of the major villages cared about the change in power of a country that had no strategic value to them in their time of recuperating and rebuilding following the war and since it was a harsh climate that didn't benefit anyone it was unofficially decided that the distant land and it's problems didn't concern the world at large.

"Who would have thought something like this was happening right beneath out noses. This country is probably an infested pool of crime and illegal activity. This is definitely now our problem especially since we in the mafia unintentionally sold our weapons and technology to these bastards." Jean grumbled to himself with crossed arms. The criminal underworld had a strong footing all the way up here in the north pole and has had a grasp here for 10 years. They were dug in deep and that was definitely a lot of time for them to become integrated here. As business the mafia didn't care about semantics such as who was in power in a country so far away and Dino most definitely didn't care at the time since he was dealing with aiding Hiruzen in repairing the village.

This was an oversight that needed to be corrected and fast. 'Miya.' Naruto called out into his mind as he dug deep into his subconscious after a few moments of soul searching. He could feel the serene and tranquil presence of the War Goddess enter his mind with her overwhelming might that he was starting to become used to. While Miya's presence was described as serene and tranquil, Naruto knew deep down that she projected an aura of absolute power and dread in her enemies. She was able to completely stop and corral both Balalaika and Karasuba, two of the most powerful women on the face of the planet with just a simple look back on Hōrai Island. The ancient goddess was no push over in the slightest.

'I see you find yourself in yet another predicament Lord Naruto… you need me to deliver a message…?' The lavender haired goddess giggled out in her first response which immediately caused an irritated tick to appear on Naruto's forehead as the High Priestess of the Uzumaki Clan once again read his mind without the slightest amount of effort. Was his mental barriers and fortitude really that non-existent to her? Was he really that transparent? These were questions Naruto didn't think he wanted answered as his bruised ego would surely crumble if he received one. In moments Naruto found himself face to face with the ethereal spectral form of the primordial deity in front of him in his mindscape while his actual body continued to physically interact with the rest of the world.

Naruto's intentions in calling Miya was for her to send a message and now since that motive was revealed Naruto decided to cut the small talk. "Yes, Lady Miya. Can you inform the village of what has happened up here and get Lord Dino to send up a large insurgent squad to the country? It's infested with Black Sun members and we could surely use the manpower to take over from these criminals when we kick them out." It was a solid plan, and about the only plan Naruto could come up with on the spot.

It would take them a while to get here but Naruto was confident that until then he and the rest of his team could complete their original mission. The clean-up crew would swoop in and completely gut the criminal underworld infesting the country from the inside out and then monopolize their stolen territory for themselves. The potential and vast amount of resources that this would open up for the mafia would be tremendous and Naruto was sure that it would definitely please Dino to gain such a profit.

"Of course, I can do that but bear in mind I will have to turn the island around and travel back south to the main continent to pick up any additional people you require. Hōrai Island is currently 200 miles off the coast of the Land of Snow and far enough away from the northern coast of the Land of Lightning that even uncloaked we would be undetected just as you asked young one." Miya informed as she had the island silently follow the Dawn Theater up to the north pole upon Naruto's previous request which she has fulfilled. "I see… how long would it take you to get back to the coast of the Land of Fire?" Naruto wasn't sure just how fast Hōrai Island actually was considering the fact it could move on its own and travel. It was for that reason why it's remained hidden for all these years both before and after the fall of the old Uzumaki Clan.

"Keeping in the factors such as not disturbing the Land of Lightning's shipping lanes and staying undetected about two and a half almost three weeks at most since I'll have to chart a proper course around that area of ocean." Miya explained to a contemplative Naruto who nodded his head after thinking things through. "Ok… please due so Lady Miya. We'll need to set everything up over here. By the way how is everyone on the island doing? How are the kids?" Naruto asked in a more subdued and curious tone that held twinges of longing in it. He missed his children greatly and being separated from them coupled with the amount of emotional stress and turmoil he was currently going through was enough to wear at Naruto's heart.

"They're doing just fine Lord Naruto… they've acclimated well to the island although they along with everyone else is rather confused about the recent change in climate we've had due to being up here in the northern hemisphere. They've asked about you every day and I've managed to soothe their worries… although if they knew about what went down between you and your teammate, they wouldn't be so cheerful." Miya answered although she did change her tone a bit towards the end which caused Naruto to narrow his eyes. "Of course, you know about that." A giggle was the response he got from the powerful entity before him as he felt a stirring in his chest. "Of course. We do share a soul now that we've merged after all. Everything you experience I will too."

A sigh escaped Naruto's lips as he proceeded to ask Miya's advice on a seal powerful enough to dismantle the chakra armor worn by their enemies. The goddess was all to gracious enough to consult Naruto on the subject as she began to coach him and teach him new Uzumaki Style Fūinjutsu that he was surprised to learn about. More than that he was surprised that they all made sense to him, he suspected it had something to do with his Uzumaki heritage and blood that traveled through his veins. She also taught him about demon suppression seals and others of the like that could be created with either Chakra or Magic. He wasn't completely sure why she was teaching him these things as well, but he didn't have time to dwell on it too much as he created dozens upon dozens of Shadow Clones to help speed up the learning process of his teachings.

With his most important business out of the way Naruto then wound down his conversation with Miya with updates being given to him on the progress that the villagers were making on the upstart little budding township that he was having them make. Things were proceeding well with the first few buildings up and livable already with a few more well on the way. Things were progressing nicely. After cutting the connection with his resident deity Naruto got back to the task at hand which was making new seals for his team to use against the enemy, but Miya was still watching over him even then.

'I'll send Fū and Karin off the island during this time… Sasuke can't learn that Karin is working with Naruto after all.' Miya privately thought to herself with a small little chuckle as things needed to be kept in proper order on her part.

Fate after all bended to her will.

1 Hour Later

"Wait so you me to say that Yukie Fujikaze is actually princess Koyuki Kazahana… the rightful ruler of this country?" Naruto's jaw was slowly coming unhinged at this new revelation as he shook his head several times in a futile attempt to make sense of it all. "So, let me get this straight. The world-famous actress that plays Princess Gale in the movies is an actual real-life princess to an entire country?!" A twitch was flickering above Naruto's eyes as he stared at Sandayū who dropped this bomb on the crew and the ninja with them after the earlier conversation they had with Kakashi revealing everything that he knew.

As it turned out Sandayū was more than just a top tier manager. He was actually one of the last surviving members of the Daimyō's Imperial Court Royal Guards. He was a personal friend of Sosetsu Kazahana the late ruler of the Land of Snow and a samurai. He was a man who lived by the sword and died by the sword and he made it his life's mission to protect Koyuki following the violent and abrupt end of her father and everything he had built up. It wasn't like Sandayū himself had anything else to live for… his beloved wife and young son were killed during the swift Coup d'état and most of his friends also met a similar fate. Only a small handful of the old regimes followers were still left, and they all gathered under the disguised manager's banner. A quarter of the staff and crew of the Dawn Theatre that were not directly apart of the fill crew were all former estranged soldiers of the Land of Snow who fled the country in secret before they themselves were killed off by Dotō and his mercenaries.

They all took odd jobs and learned new professions while banning together to form the support crew of Sandayū who enlisted the help of Makino to create the close-knit family filming crew that is known today as the inhabitants of the famous Dawn Theatre. A one of a kind ship and first of its kind that housed a full and extensive filming set which is something revolutionary and never before seen anywhere else in the cinema world.

"Yes… Yukie's real name is Koyuki and she's been my charge for the last ten years. Unfortunately, she's grown cynical and jaded over witnessing the murder of her parents and so many of her countrymen. She's a shell of her former self, the little sweet girl who cared so much for everything and everyone around her is now gone. I had to trick her into returning here, otherwise she would not step foot on this soil. As I'm sure you've noticed she's not been happy with me ever since the incident on the glacier a few days earlier. It was at that point that she figured out our destination. I originally told her it was a remote island north of the Land of Lightning. She didn't think we would travel so far up here to the north pole."

Sandayū's admission troubled those who heard it as their mission was now automatically upgraded to an S – Rank due to the presence of royalty involved as well as high level ninjas. This was now a political issue that was bigger than just a simple team. "I swear only we get stuck with such nonsense. I'm starting to think someone's meddling with my life a little too much…" Naruto muttered under his breath with a drawn-out sigh while thinking of Sōkyoku who has been oddly quiet for quite some time now.

"What do we do now Kakashi-sensei? We're already in the country and it's a very long way home." Sasuke probed as this situation while similar to their fated mission in the Land of Waves was also different. They couldn't just simply turn back now. Their only mode of transportation back was by the very crew they were charged with protecting and they were in a hostile land with enemies that have already engaged them. Of course, Sasuke didn't know about Hōrai Island following them up to this desolate and far away land which was an unforeseen exit strategy that the team could use but that was neither here nor there now, especially since Naruto sent the island back to the Land of Fire with a message for reinforcements. Team 7 and the mafia agents were completely stuck here in this distant land more than 2000 miles away from home without any reinforcements. This seemed like a situation right up their alley to complete.

The veteran Jōnin sighed as he would hate to admit that his blood was boiling for a rematch and vengeance against those Snow Ninja. Kakashi was powerless to do anything to stop the coup from happening ten years ago and the only thing he had to show for his mission was the safe extraction of Koyuki back then which was a very important and crucial accomplishment but that did nothing to stop the hollow feeling that settled in his heart. He wanted more… he wanted more to show for his involvement in this whole affair and now that he's been presented another golden opportunity to do so his pride as a shinobi simply couldn't let this chance pass him by.

"We're staying and we're going to put an end to Dotō's illegitimate regime. This is now our mission." Kakashi intoned as he gave everyone present one of his patented eye smiles which caused a huff of amusement to escape Naruto's lips. 'Here we go again with more nonsense. But to think the idol I've idolized for so long had a life like this. She's been so cold to me and everyone else since the very beginning but now that I know why I can't help the sympathy that's pooling in my heart now. Maybe there is a way that I can help her.' Naruto privately thought to himself as he watched Koyuki as he now knew her dragging around several work assistants as they prepared for another scene. They switched locations to another area closer to the small town of Shirakawa that they docked in that had interesting terrain to work with.

6 Hours Later

With a lull in the activity happening around the camp Naruto began practicing on the new Fūinjutsu seals he was developing for their cause which was coming along nicely with Miya's help who was mentally tutoring him within his mindscape. They had set up shop in Sōkyoku's bird cage who was silently and warmly watching over them with her mesmerizing emerald green eyes giving them all the light they could possibly need. Naruto was making great progress which the two deities informed him was because of his royal blood as an Uzumaki making this task easier for him. As the saying goes it's in his blood to be able to understand the most complex art in the ninja world.

He already had several prototypes and rough drafts working for him and when he combined them with similar designs that he was looking through from one of the many books he took from the Fourth Hokage's research shack many months ago it made the current endeavor he was undertaking all the more worthwhile. Real progress was being made and with Iris and Chaos leaving his side to go watch the film crew about an hour ago it finally gave him the peace and quiet to continue forward.

He loved spending every waking minute with his two precious daughters, but the fact remained they were still little children and they needed his undivided attention at times. Especially Chaos… you couldn't expect her to sit still for six hours on end with nothing to do. While they were very helpful in his experiments with the seals, they also wanted to play with him which ate into his time a bit. With them off doing their own thing it gave Naruto the privacy and concentration needed to make more strides in the project he was working on.

However, Naruto's productive stretch of time would soon be cut short when a hyperactive buzzing in the back of his mind alerted him to the fact that Chaos was no longer in the camp with him. Looking up sharply from the dozens of scrolls sprawled out around his temporarily tent Naruto rushed out to scan the bustling crowd of crew members setting up for the next scene of the movie.

"Iris? Where is your sister?" Naruto called out to the bright-eyed young girl who was busy watching Koyuki preparing for the cameras to turn on. The little girl felt drawn to the luminescent spotlight that the movie actress was shown with. It was a harsh and demanding lifestyle, but it was simple idolization on the tiny girls part. Naruto's more affectionate and innocent daughter peered up at him with her luminescent glowing eyes in curiosity. "I haven't seen her in a while now that I think about it…" Iris mumbled out in geniality as she herself looked around for her beloved twin sister in the sea of faces scampering around doing their jobs.

"I don't see her…" Iris mumbled with a tilt of her head after not being able to find her sister. The unpredictable Angeloid was just holding onto her hand a few moments prior while they watched the last scene wrap up. The crew then began transitioning into preparations for the next scene which was what they were currently doing now. But Chaos was no longer with Iris and to the Uzumaki family that was a problem. The tiny terror could get into a lot of trouble in a very short amount of time.

"Honey! Where are you…?" Naruto called out as he was having trouble sensing where Chaos was. That meant the little girl was suppressing her energy and presence from his sensory skills. Closing his eyes Naruto tugged on his mental connection to Chaos and discovered that she was a ways off from the camp at the opposite edge of town. 'What is she doing all the way out there?' Naruto questioned as he took off with Iris to find Chaos… it took them almost 10 long minutes away from camp for the father and daughter duo to find the wayward beacon of terror and when they did it was to discover that Chaos was examining something on the ground.

"Chaos! You know better than to wander off from me… what are you doing out here?" Naruto questioned sternly to the bubbly girl who was digging up piles of snow in a specific area. "I'm looking for buried treasure dada… it's so cool!" Chaos cheered as she had her malleable wings out helping her clear away more of the snow at a faster rate. "Treasure? Chaos… I'm very busy right now. I'm close to getting a working seal functioning. I can't have you out here right now." Naruto admonished as he was about to grab a hold of Chaos's shoulder when the little girl finally broke through to what she was looking for. "Look! See!"

On the ground was two long metallic rails sunk deep into the ground with wooden planks placed horizontally beneath them bolting the rails together running across the ground. Gravel and special pebbles were piled underneath the construct and all around it as a buffer from the normal ground which was very prevalent and to add to this was the fact there was an identical rail running parallel to the one Naruto was staring at next to it. Two identical tracks were running next to each other and if Naruto was being honest with himself then he'd say this was definitely one of the weirdest things Chaos's ever found and that he's ever seen before.

"Chaos… what is this thing?" Naruto mumbled as he knelt beside his daughter with Iris doing the same. Chaos's cheerful if not usually dopey face contorted into a smirk. "It's called a train track dada." This answer was met by more questions from Naruto as he's never heard of a train track before. It was not something the world at large was familiar with either but in the coming near future that notion would change… and the world at large with it.

"A train is a large metallic cart with a motorized engine inside that pulls along cabin carts behind it that you can either put people in comfortably or it can be used to transport heavy cargo in shipping containers." Chaos explained after Naruto asked her another question. "Incredible… to think the Land of Snow was developing something like this all this time by themselves. With something like this it could revolutionize the way we travel and transport civilians and cargo. Something like this could easily change the world if it was release to the public." Naruto marveled as the little explorer and engineer inside of him was jumping in giddy elation at the discovery of such an invention. This was like discovering a childhood dream for Naruto. This was one of the coolest things he's ever come across.

'Ninja have always traveled through the usage of the environment around us and we run so fast we can cover hundreds of miles at a time with little difficulty. But civilians have always had to use carriages and horses or their own bare feet to travel across the world and when it comes to getting from country to country it can take them well over a week to a full month.' Naruto mused to himself in contemplation as his mind delved further into this discovery. 'From the Hidden Leaf to the Hidden Sand village it would take a Jōnin going at max speed three full days of travel to make it while taking short two-hour rests and soldier pills every twelve hours during the trip. For a civilian it would take them nearly a month to cross that distance… especially once they hit the deserts of the Land of Wind. With something like this it would make delivers and connecting our cities and countries together easy.' Naruto theorized with a wide giddy smile breaking out across his face. The child in him was in total awe over the discovery laying before them. This was something he couldn't wait to share with the others.

'Wait… how did Chaos know about this without using her scanners to scan these tracks. I know for certain something like this is not in the Land of Fire, so she's never seen them before… wait… has she…?' Naruto's celebration came to an early halt as his mind caught up with the fact his daughter didn't scan the new discovery they just found. How else would she know about trains and train tracks?

"Chaos how did you know what these things were without using your scanners?" The question came out with an air of suspicion that got both his daughters attention immediately. Chaos's unnaturally large purple eyes were now looking up into Naruto's narrowed blue ones and immediately they became guarded which was a look Naruto was not used to seeing in his bubbly daughter's eyes. "Whatever do you mean dada? Everyone knows about choo-choo trains. They're so fun." Red flags immediately went off in Naruto's mind as this was a blatant attempt by Chaos to avoid answering the question asked of her.

"Chaos… you're avoiding the question and I can confidently say that no one knows about trains sweetheart. If they were invented… then it was very recently and only the Land of Snow has the prototypes. So, I'll ask again. How do you know about them?" Naruto was convinced that the little nexus of chaos had some knowledge on these machines, and it was acquired even before they came to the country. A theory was starting to come to life in the back of his mind and it belonged to a subject he has not touched in a very long time.

At this point the tiny terror was burying her head in his chest so as to avoid eye contact with her father and knowing this Naruto gently cupped his finger underneath Chaos's chin to force her to look at him. "Sweetie… I get the feeling you've seen trains before. Have you seen them in your old life… your previous life before you were reborn to me?" It was a touchy subject that rarely ever got brought up in the Uzumaki household and that was the origins of both Iris and Chaos… with Chaos in particular as it was stated and revealed how bad her previous life had been under Minos's rule. He was a cruel Fallen Angel and a sadistic slave master who abused Chaos at every chance he got.

At this proposed idea Chaos's wide and mesmerizing purple lazy eyes darkened with a cloud of negative emotions as she forced herself past Naruto's hand holding her chin and buried her face back in his chest without a word. A look of sadness crossed both Naruto's and Iris's face at this display of painful memories on the part of their favorite blond. "Hey… hey… hey…! Chaos it's okay. There's nothing to worry about. I'm not forcing you to remember anything you don't want too okay. I know it's hard for you to talk about back then."

This was always a difficult situation for Naruto to handle. Chaos in particular would always clam up at the mention of her time before coming to this world. He hated to see her like this as she was usually so unfazed and carefree about life in general. This was far out of character for her. "There were beautiful large cities three and four times the size of our village with trains and metal carts called cars with buildings that reached into the sky. They were all so beautiful… and then I was ordered to destroy them. Humans and supernatural alike. The Great Holy War demanded that their had to be blood spilt." Chaos mumbled into Naruto's chest while Iris's eyes narrowed down in anger and shame.

Naruto's eyes on the other hand were ignited with a burning cauldron of fire that did little to hide away his rage and anger at what his daughter was forced to do in her past life. Atrocities and acts of evil to far over the edge to be mentioned and all at the bidding of mad men with too much power in their hands just because they were higher beings. It made Naruto sick to his stomach to even think about and he swore when he eventually comes face to face with Minos, he will personally punch the crap out of him for everything he's put his beloved daughter through.

"It's okay Chaos… you don't have to talk about it if you don't want too. Not today and not tomorrow. But eventually one day we will have to talk about our pasts. You can't run from them… they are apart of you and you have to own up to everything that came with it or else you will never be able to grow as a person. The same can be said for you as well Sōkyoku. One day we'll talk as well." Naruto said gently while cradling Chaos in his lap. His curiosity was burning at him now that Chaos has opened up with that little tidbit of information regarding her past life but knowing just how much distress it causes her made him temper his undying fascination regarding that point in her life. One day they would need to open up about their pasts and Naruto extended that notion towards Iris as well who shook her head yes while her eyes were predictably glowing a powerful emerald green. Sōkyoku knew that one day they would have such a conversation.

Planting down gentle yet strong kisses all across the crown of her head, forehead, and cheeks Naruto was attempting to comfort Chaos and bring her out of her funk. The kisses seemed to be helping as a healthy full facial blush broke out across Chaos's face. If this was Iris in her place, then the poor girl would have already passed out of embarrassment and satisfaction a long time ago but since this was Chaos, she was able to maintain her composure albeit barely. Her chubby little fingers grabbed fistfuls of her father's spiky hair as she snuggled up further into his embrace as she allowed her heart and mind to calm down from remembering all of the vile things she had to do in the name of Mino and the rest of the Fallen Angels.

She barely had any allies that she could call her own back then. The only name and most prominent one that always came to mind back in the old days had been the strongest Fallen Angel of all, Azazel the Governor of their kind. He was a whimsical man and a bit of an air head who liked to tinker and find out how things work. He along with a select few Angels and Fallen Angels had originally been the ones to create the first Angeloids. He was Chaos's only friend at the time. As a matter of fact, she loosely modeled her personality and obsessive nature to tinker and interact with the world off of Azazel's personality so that she could add it to her programing since she was originally created without a conscience or personality.

But that was neither here nor there at this point as Chaos would rather live out her days with her father for all of eternity if she could help it. Her heart finally felt at ease and at peace for the first time in her existence and she didn't want to give up this feeling for anything. Her heart belonged to her father who she loved more than anything. If everyday could be filled with blissful days of fun and chaos under his tender care, then Chaos could care less about anything else.

Unfortunately, such blissful dreams were unobtainable as Naruto's destiny had him running head first down a path of trials and tribulations that would redefine the notion of hardships. He was meant to bare the weight of the world on his shoulders… that was his purpose. A peaceful lifestyle was out of the question for him and Chaos.

Just as Chaos was seconds away from melting on the spot due to all of the love filled kisses Naruto had busied himself peppering her with, her powerful sensors went off within her mind just a few seconds after Iris herself had suddenly perked up in caution. "Girls… what's wrong?" Naruto was immediately driven from his own little world as he felt Iris's and Chaos's grace become agitated within his Chakra Circulatory System. "A human is being chased down by a small tribe of demons. I count 11 in total plus the target." Chaos called out while Iris herself had already summoned her battle fans in preparation for what was to come.

Placing his hand down on the train track below him Naruto was shocked to feel a steady yet powerful current of chakra channeling itself through the metal. 'This has to lead all the way out to the capital city of the country. This track must be extensive and long. I can also feel the distinct presence of a human coming in who is running on the tracks. Those demons are also there as well.' Naruto mused to himself as he stood to his feet with Chaos's wings spreading out behind her back.

Number: 11 in total.

Species: 3 Frost Goblins; 3 Arctic Arachnids; 3 Others (AKA: White Walkers); and 2 Arctic Variant Ogres.

Type: Demons & Yōkai

Target: 1 Human Male; Traveling via Horseback.

Chakra Levels: Shinobi – Chūnin Level

Chaos's scanners were on in an instant as she started relaying all of the relevant information pertaining to the situation at hand. Chaos's wings twitched and hummed in anticipation as a dust cloud of snow could be seen cresting the horizon across the ridge that they were on near the train tracks. The camp was behind them a ways off down in the valley closer to Shirakawa Town so Naruto was certain that Kakashi and the others would easily be able to see if a commotion were to break out which Naruto's gut instinct was telling him that it was. A fight was always around the corner and he as a shinobi and trouble magnet had to be ready and prepared for it.

'What the hell is a White Walker…?' Naruto thought to himself once Chaos mentioned what was coming for them. He had an extensive knowledge on the supernatural thanks to the many books and scrolls that he took many months ago from the shack he and Eva first met in and the added knowledge he's gained over the years from working with the mafia and being raised by Shoko… but even then… Naruto didn't know every species of creature out their and this was definitely one of them. 'Arctic Arachnids… as in spiders… freaking spiders! Just great! This mission officially sucks!'

Naruto didn't know how much more he could take of this mission and all of the negative drama that it's brought him. He and Sasuke were working through a rough patch with each other and he's been injured severely on several different occasions so far. He really did love Yukie Fujikaze as an actress as she is his childhood celebrity crush but the amount of drama that she's unintentionally brought to him has completely jaded Naruto's opinion of her. This was just getting ridiculous.

"Chaos signal the others and prepare for battle. Iris let's go sweetie. You guys have my permission to cut loose. Just be mindful that both your fire powers can melt and destabilize the area around us. The last thing we need is an accidental avalanche damaging Shirakawa Town." Naruto ordered as he watched Chaos hold up her hand which had an orb of her tainted flames gathering in it. Shooting it up high into the air above the height of the closest hills and trees the volatile magical flame detonated high in the sky in a shower of embers that mimicked fireworks and in this instance was supposed to emulate a flare gun.

It's intended function did the trick as Kakashi, Sakura, and Sasuke all saw the blaring signal from back at the filming camp and were up in arms at a moments notice. They were making preparations to head out to their teammate in distress while the members of section two began to lock down the camp. They were far too close to the town so if a battle did break out collateral damage was a high possibility.

"You chose to come out here because you knew someone was in danger, didn't you Chaos?" Naruto questioned his mysterious daughter just as he saw their distressed victim cress the hill on his cream-colored horse sporting numerous cuts, bruises, and slash marks all across his body. Naruto didn't doubt Chaos's intuition and foresight into the future and the nod of her head yes was all he needed to know. 'This is an event that is meant to happen which is why she's led me out here. I'll do what I can then…' Naruto resolved as he quieted his mind while Eva began to circulate her Yōki through his body in preparation for the coming conflict. Flashes of all of the battles and painful stress that he's been under for the last few months began to weight down on his mind as Naruto gritted his teeth in an added effort to quiet his mind.

'PTSD… I don't want to admit it… but I know that I have it now. My body and mind feel so sluggish lately whenever I go into a life or death battle. But be that as it may I can't do anything about that now. I need to tighten up and do what I can now or else this person won't make it. My problems will come secondary once everything is said and done.' Naruto's psyche was under a lot of pressure lately and because of that he was starting to notice just how much it was affecting him. A haze has been settling down on his mind lately, especially whenever battles were concerned and the chance of him dying was imminent.

The same debilitating health issues that plagued his surrogate mother were starting to haunt him as well. His mind wasn't well, and it would only continue to get worse if it wasn't addressed. It was an unhealthy practice and automatic response of Naruto's mind to push his own health off to the side in favor of distracting himself with the here and now. It that continued… Naruto would eventually see the unintended side effects for himself.

Naruto's internal struggle would have to be put on hold as the fleeing horsemen caught sight of him and his two daughters. Blood and sweat were pouring off his skin as he sucked in intakes of air to replenish his overworked lungs. Naruto only had a brief moment to take in this unknown man's appearance, so he did so while he still had the chance. After all, he could sense the rabid pursuers hot on this man's heels.

The young man before him was if Naruto had to take a guess around 17 to 19 years old with dark forest green hair in a short cut with a mini tied off bun on the top of his head. Around his cheeks and chin he was showing signs of stubble which indicated he was growing out a beard. The young man's eyes were very round and almond shaped with his eye color being a very dark green that practically matched his hair perfectly. He had a sturdy build with visible muscles shown conforming tightly to his long-sleeved black shirt and mesh under armor. Around his torso he had on a slate grey flak jacket that clung to his body like a glove. It had pointed shoulder pauldrons meant for added protection as well as three thick straps around the sides of its waist to secure the front plate to the back plates located on this boy's back. Draped over his body was a faded and tattered cream-colored cloak with a hood that just like with Team 7 was a climate-controlled weather cloak meant to work in any environment. For pants he had on black long pants that tucked themselves into his standard shinobi sandals with kunai holsters on each leg. Around his waist he had a dark green sash that draped down to his knees.

'I don't see a headband. Which village does he belong to?' Naruto quickly noted as the boy didn't have a headband on signifying his allegiance to any particular group. His flak jacket also wasn't the standard issue one worn by of any of the Great Five Villages either, so it was even harder to deduce where he came from.

"Fire Style: Majestic Flame Jutsu!" The unknown shinobi called out as Naruto was able to detect a surge of chakra from the boy, but as Naruto noted this, he could also tell that the boy's chakra reserves were nearing depletion as he must have exhausted them from his desperate running. A bright orange flamethrower spewed forth from the young ninja's mouth lighting up the area with its illuminating light as the boy raced down the hill to meet up with Naruto. Exhaustion was clearly written all across the young man's face as Naruto gave him an ounce over before turning to the top of the hill to see what the boy was attacking and cresting the hill with a curtain of flames dispersing across their bodies was a small band of monsters that nearly caused Naruto's heart to stop beating in its chest.

The first thing Naruto saw were large arachnid spiders. They were massive standing at practically six feet tall with large claw like legs. It's many eyes were ghoulish with its poisonous fangs dripping a toxic venom onto the ground at their feet. The entire insect was covered in frosted over white fuzzy fur along with its skin giving it the perfect camouflage for the environment that they were in. All together there were three of these monstrosities staring down at the group, but it was who was riding them that further gave Naruto pause. 'You can ride a freaking spider?! What the hell kind of world are we living in?' It was official at this point, Naruto was totally over this mission and everything to do with it. This was more than what he bargained for.

A mystical white frigid mist rolled in over the hill bathing the demonic war party in an ominous light while Naruto took in the appearance of the humanoid creatures riding the giant ice spiders. They were called the "Others" by Chaos in her analysis, but Naruto knew it was going to bug his mind to have to constantly have to mentally refer to them with such a neutral connotation, so he decided to settle on their nickname: The White Walkers.

The White Walkers were very tall and gaunt individuals with flesh as pale as the color of milk. Their eyes are a frigid frosty blue color that glowed as bright as a blue star. Thin frail white hair flowed from their mostly bald heads into the wind which was initially hard to see since it blended in with the white mist around them. For clothing the Walkers were wearing a delicate full body silver tinted armor that covered them from head to toe. The body armor was reflective and camouflaging and with each subtle movement that they made the armor blended in and reflected the surroundings around them.

It was an intimidating ensemble of armor to wear and it made a bold statement but what put Naruto on guard was the fact these White Walkers had a large crystalized broadsword strapped to their hips and back. The handle of the blades stuck out like sore thumbs to Naruto who now knew he was dealing with competent opposition who could actually fight. This notion didn't fill his heart with any kind of relief as he moved on to the last of the opposition. The two Arctic Ogres and three Frost Goblins.

The two ogres had pale blue skin with a bloated bulbous body and large club like arms. A loin cloth covered up their lower body while a massive mace could be seen in one of these foul creatures hand while the other held a large shield. Their eyes were small and beady with humanoid facial features such as ears, nose, mouth, and facial hair. Because of their weight they however lacked a very defined neck though…

As for the Frost Goblins they barely stood four feet tall as these stubby little creatures had tough frost covered skin with large pointed ears. Warts and disfigurements could be seen all across its coarse skin that was covered with simple tattered clothes. Makeshift weapons were being carried in their hands as well and seeing this imposing opposition peering down at them Naruto frowned as this was more than what he thought it was going to be. Ogres and Goblins were a common species of demon in the world even if they weren't very well known to the public.

Naruto himself had a few encounters with Goblins before while on duty with the mafia clearing out small remote villages in the country. They were vile little creatures that could reproduce and multiply by the dozens by pillaging villages and taking women. As far as Naruto was concerned, they were vile creatures who should be eliminated. The horror stories of the things he's heard them do to people, women in particular made his blood boiled. He couldn't imagine these creatures ever getting their slimy hands on his daughters. The sheer thought of that made Naruto want to rampage on these monsters.

Naruto idly wondered if there was a warrior out there that felt the same as he did. Did they hunt down these creatures with extreme prejudice? The world may never know.

"Get behind me while you still have the chance! Girls get ready to defend yourselves if need be." Naruto ordered to the injured boy who hobbled up to him with his horse panting in exertion. Iris and Chaos themselves were ready to fight if need be and knowing their luck and the luck of their father this confrontation was going to lead to a fight.

"Naru! I've never heard of these demons before. What the hell are they?" Eva asked in caution since it was painfully obvious that these mysterious creatures were ice elementals in nature. As a fellow demon that was aligned to the element of ice Eva was certain that she should know about them. "I don't know Eva but perhaps we can avoid a conflict if we try." Naruto suggested as he stepped forward past the older boy who tried to reach out towards him in panic.

"Don't kid! These creatures are dangerous. We need to fall back!" The boy warned before wincing in pain at the many injuries that dotted his body. He was in a tremendous amount of pain and exhaustion was clinging to him as hard as these demons were. "Don't worry about me… I'm a shinobi just like you and what kind of shinobi would I be if I didn't meet hardships head on? Besides… dealing with demons is kind of my specialty." Naruto proudly stated while walking forward to gain the attention of the tribe in front of him.

"I know you Ogres are sentient and can understand what I'm saying… while you goblins can't. But as far as you White Walkers are concerned, I've never even heard of you before, much less met one in person." Naruto started out while circulating all of his different energies throughout his body in preparation. "You would do well to be afraid of us human. You lot have trespassed on our territory long enough." One of the ogres rumbled out with his deep baritone of a voice. Naruto narrowed his eyes at this as the hostilities were clearly starting to rise. "Whatever my friend here did I'll take full responsibility for. I'm sure he meant you no harm. Please forgive him on my behalf." Naruto apologized in a neutral and softer tone that caused one of the White Walkers to lean in closer in curiosity.

"Oh… and how will you take responsibility little human? What position are you in that can compensate us…?" The ogre sneered while the White Walker's still remained quite throughout this transaction. Naruto sighed at this blatant ignorance and arrogance on the part of this demon. The Ogre race was never known for their supreme intelligence or open mindedness. They were narrow minded and ignorant to things outside of their view. It was time to remind them who they were actually talking too.

"I know I might not look it without their signature red hair. So, I completely understand why you may not recognize me… but my name is Naruto Uzumaki! The Shī-ō of the Uzumaki Clan and the Land of Whirlpools. This man is now under my protection and I absolve him of whatever transgression he's done to you. Leave in peace." Naruto commanded in a strong firm voice that caught everyone's attention with the older boy currently being tended to by Iris widening his eyes in shock. He was shell shocked to meet such a kid in a desolate place like this and was it true that he about what he was saying?

This admittance got the White Walkers to actually react as their eyes glowed brighter in shock while the ogres and goblins recoiled as if they were struct. "Impossible! The last Shī-ō died many years ago back in the last war you humans had. It's just like you humans to spread you filthy lies." The same ogre roared but his tirade would come to a screeching halt moments latter as everyone began to sense a build up of power swelling within Naruto. "Lies… is that so… perhaps I should just show you instead of tell you." Naruto intoned as he connected himself to the ethereal presence of the Cauldron of Resonance and that of Miya's spirit inside of him and immediately the entire area began to rumble and shake as a silver aura of power exploded around his body.

"Well I'm the current Shī-ō and as you can see, I'm very much alive and well. You do know what I am and what my presence represented. The Uzumaki Clan monitored the world and protected the supernatural realm from interfering with the human realm for well over a millennium. We protect supernatural creatures from persecution and find them places to call their own, but we also hunt down rouge creatures that are too dangerous to be left alive and deal with them. You could say we were like an international supernatural police force before our demise. But that's all going to change once I resurrect my clan and bring them back to the world. So, I ask you as kindly as I possibly can to turn around and walk away from this situation."

Naruto commanded as his very voice echoed throughout the valley and resonated with the souls of all those present. Naruto's eyes that were currently glowing a soft silver bored a hole into the skulls of the demons that took a step back while the spiders that the White Walkers were riding screeched in fear. 'In just a few minutes the others should be here. We traveled pretty far out to the other side of this valley near Shirakawa but that won't matter. If they leave us in peace that's fine, but if they attack, I'll have no choice but to kill them. Demons don't back down and they never forget an enemy. They may linger in the area and retaliate against the town in revenge.' Naruto mused to himself silently as he was stalling for time.

He wasn't sure how he stacked up against these White Walkers and their mounts… but he knew he could easily take the two ogres and the goblins. He's had tons of experience dealing with the burly race of walking muscle over the years and the same could be said about the goblins that even new Genin could beat easily as long as they didn't underestimate them… particularly kunoichi's. He sensed a lot of Yōki coming from these White Walkers and a substantial amount from the Arctic Spiders that they were riding. The ogres had as much as he would expect from their race. These two weren't quite as strong as Toiret had been who he faced when he had recently turned 8 years old and they were definitely not as strong as Mazir was who Shoko faced around that same time when she met and befriended Aria. Mazir had the unique ability to turn his skin into diamonds making him an actual threat. These ogres only had Chūnin level reserves of Yōki if he were to make that equivalent comparison of Chakra.

The ugly little goblins on the other hand barely had enough energy in them to compare to an Academy student. Naruto was positive that Konohamaru had larger reserves than the three of them combined… whether that was because he was from the Sarutobi Clan and the grandson to the Third Hokage was debatable as Konohamaru was an outlier, but the fact still remained that these little impish creatures would pose no threat to him. He just would prefer not to take the chance of being ganged up upon by their entire tribe if he could help it.

Finally, the White Walkers had enough as they spoke up for the first time. The one in the middle got his spider mount under control and pushed forward. "You are an interesting being Naruto Uzumaki… but if you wish to prove yourself as this worlds exalted Shī-ō then you must best us in combat… only then will we submit to you." The leader of the pack suggested causing a frown to mare itself across Naruto's face. He was hoping not to get into a fight with these creatures as truth be told his legendary Uzumaki stamina was being tested by the many injuries he's sustained so far over the last few days.

He's collapsed and fallen unconscious due to severe injury twice in the span of a week and his latest injuries from fighting Mizore would be considered fatal if they were inflicted upon anyone else but him. He jammed the kunai deep into Naruto's chest cavity puncturing his lungs and electrocuting him through the kunai all the same. Among his many injuries and tattered shinobi clothes Naruto wasn't in top shape. The amount of stamina it consumed from him to have both Iris and the Nine Tailed Fox heal him on both of these occasions has drained him significantly since their energies bump up against one another.

This mission was putting his stamina through the ringer as there was only so much that even he could take when you have two conflicting energy sources that automatically rush to heal you at the same time without your consent. Even though both sources ultimately end up healing him it costs him a lot of stamina each time it happened and with the severity and frequency of his injuries over the course of this mission… Naruto was nearing his limit. He just wanted this to all be over at this point.

"We need to replenish our numbers anyway… our four clansmen never came back from their foraging trip. Those little females will do nicely." One of the goblins lustfully stated while eyeing Iris and Chaos causing Naruto's blood to boil to its breaking point. In no way shape or form would he allow those vile creatures to lay a single hand on his precious daughters. He knew what happened to females of any age that got caught by a goblin… he didn't even want to say the word itself as it disgusted him to that degree. Gatō was the last person to ever insinuate anything to that extent and history showed what happened to him and his men that stood in Naruto's way on that fateful day… Zabuza helped of course… but he wasn't an overprotective father with two six-year-old children.

Scratch that… maybe he wouldn't wait for the others to show up. Him tapping into the Cauldron's power temporarily revitalized him… maybe he should kill this tribe… or at the very least the goblins in them so that they couldn't hurt anyone else in the future.

"As the Shī-ō of the Uzumaki Clan it is my duty to be impartial and respectful to the supernatural realm when needed and because of that I'm willing to let you ogres and White Walkers go on that accord but as for you Goblins… you are dangerously close to pushing me over the edge. I'm seconds away from slaughtering you three! Don't you ever in my presence for as long as breath still draws from you body insinuate that you will put your hands on my daughters! You and your tribe leave before I kill the lot of you." Naruto growled out with a seething shimmering rage boiling his blood beneath the surface of his skin. He really was seconds away from killing these goblins and the longer they stayed the closer Naruto's patience came to its breaking point.

The second he saw them he was seriously contemplating killing them on the spot as he knows what their species is and what a tribe of them is capable of doing to a town. He wouldn't doubt that the settlements here in the Land of Snow had issues in the past of their villages being pillaged while their women were taken. If the local forces did nothing to stop this then Naruto wouldn't be surprised if Shirakawa town didn't have it's fair share of similar stories to tell him.

A powerful surge of Naruto's hybrid chakra pulsed out from his body shaking the nearby hills and pushing the snow on the ground away from him. He was breathing hard through his nose as he attempted to keep his composure in check… conflict was inching ever closer with him adding fuel to this fire now and while he regretted having to add to this negativity, he would never apologize for defending his children's honor.

"Huh? Kid what are you talking about? Those creatures didn't say anything. All I heard were weird grunts from those little impish creatures and what sounded like ice cracking and breaking from that thing you called a White Walker. Can you understand them somehow?" The injured shinobi boy spoke up with confusion clear in his eyes as he watched a shocked look appear on Naruto's face. 'What the hell? Then if they weren't actually speaking my language then how did I understand them?' Naruto questioned to himself. That was strange. He wasn't aware he had an ability like this at his disposal. The answer to this question would come from Miya who spoke up within Naruto's mind informing him of the fact that as the Shī-ō he had a universal understanding of any and all non-human entities belonging to the supernatural realm. He could understand their language and mannerisms at an instant. It came with several other benefits but those would come in time.

"Well that's one hell of a shocker, huh Eva?" Naruto mumbled as he watched a bemused smile work its way onto Iris's face. It would seem she was listening in on his mental conversation with Miya. "Yeah, who would have thought being Shī-ō gave you a perk like that. Even I couldn't understand those White Walkers… the goblins on the other hand…" Eva chipped in as she unfortunately could understand their native tongue. If Naruto didn't explode when he did, she would have gladly done so… no one insinuates such disgusting things about her baby sisters in her presence. She wanted Naruto to kill those putrid creatures and she was sure her Yōki was influencing Naruto's inner thoughts to do so.

"You could say it's another one of my specialties… I'm full of them." Naruto cheekily popped back in response to the boys inquiry. He was going to ask the boy his name when the vocal ogre from before raised his large mace in a threatening manner. "Forget this nonsense! Shī-ō or not you are a young inexperienced human. We'll crush you and prevent the rise of the Uzumaki once more. We can rule this pathetic world one day without their presence to stop us!" The ogre roared as he himself broke off from the pack and charged down the hill towards Naruto who summoned his ice swords in an instant.

"I want you to hang back and give me long range support if you can. My team is on their way and will be here any minute now. Just hold out and let me handle these guys." Naruto called out to his new companion while he met the ogre's charge head on with one of his own. 'Ogres rely on brute strength and have little in the way of dexterity or speed. On the other hand, I can't contend with their strength in my base form without chakra enhancements due to my age and size. I know what I'll do.' Naruto strategized in his mind as he mentally went over the most basic and relevant information related to their species. He's had a lot of experience in the past dealing with their kind. They weren't the threat in this tribe.

"Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu!" In an instant Naruto threw three real shuriken ahead of him before re-adjusting his swords. With a few modified hand signs from him those shuriken suddenly multiplied by the dozens. In seconds the ogre was peppered by hundreds of small shuriken that dug into his skin and inflicted small scratches onto his tough skin. The anger prone ogre swung around his mace and slammed it into the ground shaking the area and reducing Naruto's speed as a side effect. Roaring in rage the ogre then swung around once more forcing Naruto to block the follow up attack instead of dodging it like he would have wanted. The heavy blow cracked the ground beneath Naruto's feet as his crossed swords rattled in strain and protest.

"My name is Klakor little human!" The now named ogre called out in bravado as an annoyed look crossed Naruto's face. "Yeah… I don't care." Channeling chakra to his swords Naruto pushed up with all his might while activating his Accel Turn. "Kenjutsu: X – Scissor!" With a roar of exertion Naruto repelled Klakor's downwards slam with a reflection of his swords causing the much taller demon to stumble on his back foot. Jumping up to his face with a burst of his accelerated speed Naruto swung both swords around aiming for what little neck these species tend to have. "Kenjutsu: Accelerated Decapitation!"

Naruto's technique as always was flawless but that wasn't the issue in this case. The other ogre saw fit to use his massive shield to block Naruto's attack while shoving Klakor out of the way. Naruto's swords bounced off of the offenders shield with little resistance but touching down on the ground Naruto pushed the ogre back with a quick barrage of ground ice spears. "My name is Kalakos human! You will not vanquish my brother so easily!" Kalakos roared as he prepared his shield for Naruto's retaliatory strike. "Yeah… I still don't care!" Naruto sneered as he signaled for Iris and Chaos to join him.

Launching several fireballs from her fist Iris was in the game now as she charged in with her father who watched as Kalakos shielded them from the flames but his and his brothers screech of pain from the heat of the holy fire gave away the indication that their inherent weakness to holy energy would play a huge factor in this battle.

"Phoenix Interceptor Style: Blaze Fist!" Her tiny little fist now ignited in red hot flames Iris with blinding speed for one so small darted in towards Klakor with Naruto running besides her with his own technique at play. "Wind Style: Hurricane Fist Jutsu!" Klakor took a swing at Iris that missed by a long shot due to her tiny size and immense speed as she jumped up onto his swinging arm and landed a devastating punch directly to his chest that send him skidding back nearly 10 yards with his screeching pain filled screams haunting his brother and the others into action.

'Incredible… this girl must be six or seven years old at the most and she has this kind of power to stand by this shinobi. I couldn't even get those bastards to budge an inch and I threw everything I had at them. Just what is she and who are they as a group?' The boy gawked in flabbergasted shock as he's never seen a little girl move so fast or hit so hard. He had no idea she had combat training or knew how to fight at all. The mysterious golden flames that she used to heal him was the only indication that he had to go on that she wasn't an ordinary child.

"You'll pay for that! Yōjutsu: Glacial Rush!" Kalakos roared as ice built up around his metal shield which added an addition layer of protection for him as he charged in at Naruto and Iris who met this charge running side by side… despite Naruto's longer legs his beloved daughter was keeping up without any difficulties as they reared their fists back ignited with their respective energies.

Slamming their fist into the rushing bull like Kalakos with a thunderous boom Naruto's wind worked it's magic and enhanced Iris's fire causing an uncontrollable firestorm to unleash itself upon Kalakos burning him severely as Iris's fire melted through the ice and the physical shield itself with little difficulty. The burns were so bad he was almost purified on the spot from being near Iris and her divine body but at that moment the goblins made their move as they jumped them from above.

While the tag along young man couldn't understand what they were saying, Naruto and Iris could for obvious reasons and the little creatures were cursing and jeering battle cries at them which would prove to do nothing as Chaos chose this moment to intrude on the fight on behalf of her family. "Lock On: Artemis System. Engage!" With wings spread wide and taunt, mini tainted flaming orbs sprouted all across her metallic appendages that shot off with speeds far surpassing any projectile based weapons in the world.

Three fireballs slammed into the goblins that were in mid air above Naruto and Iris's heads and in an instant, they were sent blown away by Chaos's attack. Her fire was volatile by nature and so it exploded upon impact with its target. They weren't dead yet, but they were pushed back by this attack while the White Walkers and their mounts chose this moment to enter the fray.

Charging down the hill the lead White Walker zeroed in on Naruto with obvious intent while drawing his crystalized sword. Gathering himself up Naruto readjusted his stance as the spiders legs were the first thing to get near him. Their long bone like appendages were deadly as they swiped at him with a speed he wasn't expecting. Taking his swords Naruto dodged and blocked with all of the skills afforded to him over the years but it was in that moment the rider attacked. With speed far surpassing Naruto's expectation the white walker swung at Naruto and nearly cleaved his head straight at the neck.

Using the spider's own leg as a spring Naruto jumped up and launched a retaliating swing at the gaunt humanoid demon riding on its back, but his strike was blocked by his opponent who raised his large broadsword styled weapon in seconds. Touching down on the back of the spider which Naruto idly noted to be the thorax due to his many years being friends with Shino and being forced to learn about the basic anatomy of most bugs and insects Naruto was readying himself for anything when he sensed another attack from behind incoming.

Another of the white walkers riding his own spider signaled for his mount to attack. Opening its fanged mouth, the spider launched a barrage of icicles towards Naruto's unprotected back. Crossing his swords Naruto had no choice but to block a heavy swing from the White Walker riding the spider they were standing on. Grinning Naruto with a finesse befitting his style and growing grace as a shinobi crossed his swords further into each other like scissors allowing his hands to come together and form his signature sign. In less than a full second a Shadow Clone was standing back to back with Naruto with his swords already out and with dexterity he's been known for the clone deflected every projectile skillfully allowing Naruto to focus on his own opponent.

Getting into his guard Naruto launched out with a thrust kick sending the much taller demon flying off his own spider mount with an audible clang from his special metallic armor. Giving chase Naruto slammed into the walker from above with an overhead slash attack that cracked the ground below his opponent for a change. Landing on the ground Naruto began to trade masterful blows with the nearly 7-foot-tall lanky demon that was swinging around his sword as if it weighed nothing. 'No way… this guy must be the equivalent to a Jōnin in terms of Kenjutsu. It's almost like fighting Zabuza all over again. I'm giving him my best shot right now.' Naruto sputtered in his mind as this creatures footwork and swordsmanship were on a level he never expected.

Several additional fresh cuts and tears were now in Naruto's already tattered Chūnin vest and hoody from this White Walker's superior skill with a blade. "You're far better than I was ever expecting. But I'm still asking you to surrender and leave in peace. I've already got a lot on my plate to deal with while in this country. I don't want to disturb the supernatural realm of this area if I can help it. Although I can't extend that curtesy to those goblins in your tribe." Naruto praised with respect in his voice as the much taller icy demon gazed down at him while speaking up. His voice was equivalent to the sound of ice cracking and rubbing up against each other but to Naruto he could hear him in his own native tongue without issue.

"I must commend you young Shī-ō. You've done well so far against me. You are showing skills worthy of that title like past holders have held. But I will not back down until you force me to submit. As far as those goblins are concerned, I could care less for them. They are good as foot soldiers and nothing else. They aren't my true allies, and neither are those ogres." The White Walker commented as he pushed Naruto away from him with a powerful shove. He had height, reach, and strength against Naruto and so it wasn't a contest he was expecting his blond-haired opponent to win.

"Good to know… Wind Style: Great Breakthrough Jutsu!" Naruto's response was a massive gust of wind from his mouth that pushed his opponent back well over a dozen yards. A cloud of snow was kicked up into the air from Naruto's gust of wind and because of that it made it even easier for his lanky opponent to set up his counter attack. "Yōjutsu: Nature's Imperium Authority." The White Walker facing him slammed his sword into the ground with a resounding thud and all around him the snow and ice came to live with a mind of its own.

Sending a huge wave of snow and ice at Naruto in the form of a wall the White Walker was determined to push the envelope of this battle while Naruto himself realized he was truly facing a competent demon… a demon that was on the level of Tsukuyomaru and his other subordinates. After facing the likes of the Four War Gods, Naruto's exposure and general view of demons were set to high. Those demons were exceptionally powerful and not a common sight in their world dominated by shinobi. These White Walkers were clearly and easily on the level of a Jōnin and they had serious power to back it up.

"Eva let's go!" Naruto called out to his faithful companion who smirked in response. It was always a nice feeling to go into battle with your other half. Syncing up their energies Naruto instantly went about creating his new favorite technique in hand with the assistance of a fellow clone spawned in for this special task. "Rasengan!" Shoving the glowing ball of pure chakra forward Naruto watched as Eva added her own spin to the technique. "Demonic Art: Winter Fairy Freeze Vision!" In an instant the Rasengan in Naruto's hands became frozen over with frost flying around it as he slammed it into the incoming wall of nature.

A massive collision occurred at the center of impact as snow was sent flying everywhere as Naruto gritted his teeth and dug his heels into the ground. Feeling his opponents attack about to give Naruto twisted his hand counter clockwise to build up torque before quickly twisting his wrist in a clockwise direction which had the intended effect of unhooking himself from his self-sustaining technique that shot off like a cannonball shot out of a cannon. Several shadow clones were created in the span of two seconds during the obscuring blizzard kicked up by the two imposing attacks clashing together.

Naruto's Rasengan on the other hand tore through the White Walkers overwhelming attack with a penetrating force that the demon could not account for. It was hit with the full force of the cyclonic energy from the spiraling sphere that expanded after leaving Naruto's hand. The White Walker was blasted back over a dozen yards while it dug its hands and feet into the ground to break its momentum. "Rasengan!" A secondary shout was heard not even a second later as another Shadow Clone of Naruto with its own vaunted technique in hand fell out of the sky towards the lone spider that was his opponents stead.

Looking up at the last second the spider seemingly sunk into the ground just as the clone slammed his chakra sphere into the ground caving in the area around him with the unbelievable power of his father's technique dissipating seconds later but not before kicking up a brief snow storm of snow that was sent into the air from his imploding attack. No one could see what was happening since snow was flying everywhere but moments later the clone was popped from a sharp clawed strike from the spider coming out of the ground piercing him in the back. It's very long legs jutted out of the ground first before the rest of his massive body followed while the real Naruto frowned at this development.

'So, these spiders can submerge themselves underground and travel around at will. Similar to the Earth Style: Hidden Mole Jutsu and the Earth Style: Headhunter Jutsu. That makes attacking them difficult if they're just going to hide underground everytime they feel threatened.' Naruto deduced with this new bit of information as that was a very useful if not tricky technique to have for these Arctic Arachnids.

"Phoenix Interceptor Style: Fire Lash!" Iris herself was busy fending off the other two White Walkers who despite knowing just what kind of mortal danger they were in from facing off against what was clearly a divine being were still willing to go in. The whip made out of pure holy fire wrapped itself around the swords of both imposing swordsmen causing the blades themselves to screech out in blistering pain that sounded as sharp as a needle going into your ear. Apparently, the swords themselves were sentient as they already gave off a dull blue glow that matched their wielders eyes.

Yanking on the weapons Iris pulled her opponents towards her while igniting her fists with red hot flames. "Phoenix Interceptor Style: Double Blaze Punch!" A thunderous burning fist collided with each walkers chest plate burning a singe into the mystical armor that shimmered as a result. The two walkers were launched off their feet from Iris's powerful attack and sent tumbling into the snow away from her while their steeds attempted to retaliate in response to this. Pure white silk was shot from the spiders at Iris who wouldn't need to dodge as Chaos teleported in front of her allowing herself to be tangled up in the adhesive substance.

"Chaos!?" Iris puffed out in exasperation as her beloved twin sister had a dopey expression on her face… to be honest it was the usual look that was on Chaos's face. It honestly didn't faze Iris at this point. "Oooh… this silk is pretty cold. Negative 100 Degrees Celsius by my scanners. Too bad temperatures don't affect me much." Chaos giggled as both spiders had her in their clutches. It was a lot of silk to be sure and if anyone else was caught in this attack they would have been frozen on the spot. Unfortunately, Chaos wasn't normal. Far from it.

"Black Magic: Nightshade." Chaos said simply as a dark red miasma of energy that crackled like lightning surged down the line of silk attaching her to her attackers in an instant. Horrible sounding screeches of pain filled the waning daytime sky as Chaos's special spell inflicted an electrifying paralysis to the insects based upon the reserves of Yōki that they had… and since they had a substantial amount to complement their riders…

Giggling some more Chaos flexed her wings by summoning them from her back which allowed her to cut straight through the silk, or so she thought as the little Angeloid was surprised to find out that her blade like wings were meeting resistance from the adhesive spider silk binding her. "Oh wow… this is some pretty strong stuff mister spider." Chaos marveled as her incredibly sharp wings began to tear into the fibers keeping her restrained. If she flexed hard enough and faster than she currently was doing then Chaos was completely certain that she could free herself, but the little tiny terror was having too much fun analyzing what the silk was made of to care.

Iris couldn't help but roll her eyes at her twins carefree approach to battles. Iris decided that she'd let Chaos figure her way out of her own mess. The two White Walkers she was fighting were getting back to their feet and with damaged swords in hand they charged straight at Iris with speed and ferocity in each step they took. "Yōjutsu: Nature's Imperium Authority!" One walker hung back and launched the very earth around them at Iris while the other dove straight into his attack using his partners long range technique as support.

"Holy Magic: Light Spear!" Putting her war fans away Iris held out her hand and created a green spear made out of pure holy grace. The construct hummed and illuminated the area in the dusk filled sky with its light. This was a technique she's been working on ever since Sōkyoku took over to battle Lilith back when the Legendary Sannin had their fatal showdown. Sōkyoku used the advanced version of this technique that just so happened to be her own personal rendition of what she was using now. The light spear was the signature weapon that Angels and Fallen Angels use in all of their combat. It is the most basic offensive technique at their disposal and now Iris had access to it.

Clashing weapons with the White Walker rushing against her Iris cringed a bit when she heard the blade cry out in pain. Twirling her energy weapon around just like her father taught her to when he was teaching her Bōjutsu Iris knocked the demon's sword off course just as the incoming snow flurry swallowed both her and her opponent up. Surrounded on all sides by earth and snow Iris clashed once more against the much taller demon in front of her as it used the environment around it that it's partner provided to attack Iris with. Using its sentient sword, the walker swung at Iris while commanding the snow surrounding them that was now infused with powerful Yōki to follow its path.

"Oh no you don't. Don't underestimate me just because of my age and size." Iris declared as she ignited her hands and feet with fire while she twirled around just like a ballerina completely dodging the incoming swing where she then lashed out with her spear and cut through the Yōki filled snow and earth coming straight at her. Ducking down low to the ground Iris used her tiny size to get into the walkers guard and lashed out with a powerful leg sweep enhanced by her flames that took the lanky demon off its feet. Every bout of physical contact between it and Iris caused the strong demon immense pain but the only thing preventing it from outright being purified out of existence was the fact Iris was severely holding back. She herself didn't want to kill these incredibly rare species of demon. There was no need for such vicious actions. Those goblins on the other hand…

Falling onto its back the walker hastily had to hold up its sword to block a stab attempt by Iris that she wasn't fully serious about. More Yōki enhanced snow and earth began to swarm the downed Walker as its partner was still controlling his technique from afar as a way of support. "It's been fun, but I have to bring this battle to an end now. Phoenix Fire: Heat Wave!" Iris shouted as she took her unused hand and slammed it down into the chest plate of the icy demon below her that unleashed a nauseating omnidirectional shockwave of superheated air that blew away the encroaching snow attempting to swallow her whole while knocking the walker who she hit with this powerful punch unconscious from the power of the strike.

Debris flew everywhere masking Iris and her downed opponent from view but before the other white walker could move it had to hastily raise its sword to block Iris's incoming spear of light before it impaled him through the stomach. An explosive force pushed him back as the green energy spear exploded without warning disorienting the stunned walker who had no time to defend itself as Iris pushed through the smoke with a Blaze Propulsion augmenting her speed.

"Phoenix Interceptor Style: Blaze Kick!" The White Walker's world went dark as Iris slammed a heavy falling axe kick to its head enhanced by her holy flames that nearly killed it outright as the little girls still had trouble properly balancing the power output of her magic. Anything hotter or fueled by more of her magic and the unfortunate walker would have been disintegrated on the spot. The shockwave that followed nearly toppled Chaos over who was still playing with the silk keeping her constricted.

Landing on the ground out of breath Iris panted while concentrating to keep her volatile and immense reserves of divine grace under control. Her father warned her that if she did too much then the area could become destabilized. Large blankets of snow was already shifting and falling down the hills near them from all of the heat she was outputting. Looking over towards her sister Iris sweat dropped to see that the air headed girl was still trapped in her own predicament.

"Chaos! Hurry up and come on. Stop playing now." Iris called out as she watched the purple eyed girl pout a bit before a smile returned to her face. "Okay… sorry spiders but I have to go now." Chaos apologized as her eyes transitioned over to her scanners causing them to glow red. Activating her Pandora System Chaos gained access to a brand-new technique that she has been working on for quite some time now. All of the research and training data that she had stored up for well over a month flooded her brain as her wings glowed a radiating purple.

"Dark Magic: Night Slash!" With a new technique in hand Chaos's wings flexed to their full span with glowing bands of energy coating the metallic blades in its powerful force. Flexing her wings once more Chaos launched nearly two dozen crescent shaped purple blades of energy at the stunned spiders that cut into their hard skin with explosive force causing the area to shake under the power of her attack. Their screeches of pain was music to Chaos's ears as she phased into existence in between them without a moment of warning and extending her malleable wings forward she wrapped them around the spiders completely immobilizing their movements.

"Black Magic: Night Shade." Two rounds of Chaos's undeniably broken ability was too much for the spiders to take as the themselves were knocked unconscious as a result of their reserves of Yōki being completely drained and paralyzed within them. Gently putting them down on the ground Chaos giggled as she turned to her sister and teleported to her side where she then tackled her causing the twins to tumble into the snow. Giggling as their limbs became tangled between them Chaos wound up on top as she snickered at the annoyed look on Iris's face. "Did you see what I did sis? I got to try out my new attack I was working on. How did I do?" Chaos squealed in delight as her twin couldn't help the twitch of her lips into a smile from spreading across her face.

It was incredibly hard for anyone, let alone Iris to get mad at Chaos when she had such genuine joy on her face. "Yeah… it was really cool Chaos. I'm proud of you." Iris sweetly stated while giving the energetic girl a soft peck on her nose… or that was Iris's intentions if Chaos didn't move at the last second causing her to kiss Chaos on the lips instead. The smug and mischievous look on her face said it all. That was planned. An annoyed look was once more on Iris's face as she tried to push her sister off of her but that twinkle in her sisters eyes wasn't going away anytime soon. "Kiss attack!" Chaos squealed as she launched a tirade against Iris who also squealed in fits of laughter and annoyance mixed in as she would prefer if the hyperactive girl wouldn't do such a thing right now.

Iris and Chaos were close… closer than any set of twins imaginable. She and her energetic twin shared kisses on the lips practically every hour of the day. It was as common as breathing for them as they saw nothing wrong with it as that was their way of showing off their love and affection for one another. Their bond was sacred and special to each other and so lip contact wasn't something taboo to them. It was the same stipulation for how they shared all of their clothes even down to their underwear much to Iris's embarrassment and frustration. There was nothing that the two blond haired girls didn't share between the two of them. In fact, Iris even lets Chaos hold her beloved Jean Paul teddy bear on occasion and only because she knows that for all of her faults Chaos would never do anything to ruin her sisters favorite present.

Having yet another kiss stolen from her from Chaos who was fluttering around her dangerous metallic blade like wings caused a twitch to come to Iris's eye. She didn't mind entertaining her sister and her spontaneous flares of affection, but Iris would prefer for them to do so at a later time when they weren't in the middle of a battlefield. Iris could handle this overwhelming level of affection from her sister since that meant that Chaos was preoccupied with her instead of being out and about causing trouble for others but there was a time and place for everything and right now was definitely not the time.

Seeing an opening Iris lunged forward and planted a strong kiss against her sister's lips and with all of her strength she pushed Chaos's head away from her allowing Iris the chance to finally sit up and catch her breath. "I don't mind playing right now Chaos, but can we please do this later when we don't have a fight going on?" Iris huffed as her hair was frazzled and messed up from being affectionately assaulted by her beloved twin. The two of them shared more kisses between them on a day to day basis than Naruto and Hinata ever have consecutively in one day. The level of affection between the two would be off putting to anyone outside of the family who didn't know one of the real reason why they do such a thing.

Unbeknownst to anyone except for Sōkyoku and Chaos the ancient phoenix was using those opportunities to transfer small pockets of her power into Chaos's body so that she could cultivate and nurse the Nexus Crystal inside of Chaos's body back to full strength. Lady Amaterasu's core was in a very weakened state right now and it was up to Sōkyoku to slowly fix the delicate power source so that it could one day be returned to its original owner. Through physical contact with each other this task could be completed.

A sweet smile marred Chaos's face as she pecked Iris once more on the lips with a giggle escaping hers. "Nope…" Chaos snickered but their playful moment would be ruined once a very prominent situation made itself known to them. The boy that they were helping to protect was currently being attacked by the two ogres that they forgot all about. "Oops." Chaos deadpanned while yet another annoyed glare from her sister bored into her skull.

The injured and exhausted boy was tired beyond belief, but he couldn't help but marvel at the insane level of power that two six-year-old girls had. 'This can't be real at all. They must be monsters. How can children that age have such overwhelming power to beat opponents even the older blond is having trouble with. This is insane.' The boy's musing and awe-struck daze would be broken when his instincts told him to dodge and moving his taxed body into obeying, he narrowly avoided having his head smashed in by one of the ogres who had rage clear in its eyes.

"Klakor will crush you! Die!" Klakor wasn't very happy about the beating he took from Naruto and Iris but seeing as how they were unapproachable right now made Klakor think of another target to exact his revenge on. The boy that initially caught their attention. Swinging his mace down to smash his opponents head in the burly ogre completely left himself open to an opponent he would have never seen coming in a million years.

"Lightning Blade!" A lightning infused hand slammed straight through Klakor's back and straight out of his chest causing his heart to explode upon contact spraying geysers of inky blue blood all across the boy's face. Only one person in the world had such a technique and it was none other than Kakashi himself who delivered the deed.

Kakashi, Sakura, and Sasuke were here now and with their intrusion Kalakos was sent into a rage. "BROTHER!" The last remaining demon roared as he charged at the rest of Team 7 with vengeance in his eyes. He would crush these filthy humans for what they did to his brother. Too bad things wouldn't exactly go his way. "Genjutsu: Optic Delusory." Kalakos had no way of knowing his brain was injected with foreign chakra. Despite being a demon, he was still susceptible to Genjutsu as chakra could be injected into anything organic or inorganic regardless of whether it had a chakra circulatory system or not.

This Genjutsu was curtesy of Sakura herself who wasted no time at all in performing her next attack. Slamming into the area where he thought Team 7 was the enraged demon was understandably confused when he didn't see any mangled bodies beneath him. From his perspective the humans never moved from their spot. This slow mental processing moment would be his undoing as Sakura was already in position. "Earth Style: Headhunter Jutsu!" Taught to her by Kakashi himself when she was undergoing Kurenai's and Guy's training regime Sakura's hands popped out of the ground beneath Kalakos and with a very powerful pull she grabbed his ankles and dragged him underground until his hands were submerged into the earth around them leaving him vulnerable to the ultimate finisher and bout of dark irony.

"Chidori!" Now it was Sasuke's turn to follow in Kakashi's footsteps and building off of Sakura's success he plunged his lightning covered fist into Kalakos's chest completely rupturing his heart and causing it and his chest cavity to explode from the force of his technique.

Stepping out of the ground from behind Kalakos's now dead body Sakura grinned at Sasuke who couldn't help but smirk back at his partner. Taking off the two split up from each other to handle their own targets while Kakashi looked on in pride. He was standing near the young man with a questioning look in his eyes. There would be time for answers soon. The battle was wrapping up after all.

Naruto was busy trading blows with the leader of the White Walkers who was laying into him with swordsmanship that was actually elevating and pushing Naruto's skills to new heights. Sending the very environment at his opponent for added measure the demon was thoroughly enjoying its fight with the legendary Shī-ō. Everyone in the supernatural community knew who the Shī-ō was and because of that it was an honor to fight against the human protector and executioner of supernatural creatures. Naruto was young but the walker could practically feel the sheer amount of potential in his body. He would one day go on to become one of the strongest Shī-ō's of all time if he kept on his path.

"Ice Style: Ice Ground Spears Jutsu!" A tall column of icicle spears ripping the ground apart was sent at the tribe leader who used his imperium to block the incoming wave of ice. Taking to the air to land an overhead slash at his opponent the walker was met with two Naruto's who were already ahead of him in thinking. "Kenjutsu: Arctic Duet Dance!" Both Naruto's laid into the tribal leader with their signature sword technique before launching him out of the sky and forcing him to crash into a nearby hill. He was outdone in that short bout of swords and scrambling to his feet the demon launched into a tirade of swings that Naruto and his clone was hard pressed to defend against.

It was a dance of swords on a level all onto its own that the others were witnessing as Naruto's clone was destroyed before one of his swords were knocked out of his hand. Now forced on his back-foot Naruto using only one sword began to fight back. His blood began to boil in excitement as the earlier sluggishness in his mind that's been holding him back seemed to retreat into hiding for now. He was enjoying himself far too much to be aware of his troubled mental health. Blocking strike after strike with both hands on his single sword Naruto's entire demeanor and style switched up as none of his teammates have ever seen him use one sword before.

"It has been an honor to fight against you Lord Shī-ō, but I must defeat you now." The tribal leader declared as he came in with a powerful imperium enhanced sword slash that would overpower anything Naruto could use to block it, but Naruto wasn't done yet. A fire was in his eyes as Naruto tightened his grip on his sword and with the mental guidance of Shoko standing beside him, he suddenly exploded into a burst of speed with the aid of his Accel Turn. "Don't ever underestimate me! Kenjutsu: One Slice!" One of Shoko's signature sword techniques was reborn in Naruto at that moment as he sailed past the white walker while leaving a nasty gash through his armor and side before coming to a stop several feet from him. He executed the technique a little differently than his surrogate mother, but the effect was still the same as the leader fell to his knees from his injury.

A look of pride was on Naruto's face with a grin to match as he finally pulled off one of Shoko's unique sword skills. She's been training him in one sword style combat for years now but his penchant and preference for dual blade fencing has always gotten in the way of his teachings. Because of his smaller stature he lacked the same physical strength that adults had to wield a single blade and since he was all about speed related combat, he preferred to use two swords to increase the amount of strikes he could unleash at a moments notice. Now… he felt just like Shoko in that instance and the surreal novelty of that moment prevented Naruto from noticing that his opponent wasn't finished yet.

A clang of metal against ice warned Naruto that something was amiss and turning around while hearing the wail of what sounded like a dying animal curtesy of the White Walker's sentient sword crying out from meeting heavy resistance, he was greeted to the sight of Sasuke blocking the tribal leader's sword with kunai in his hands. "This isn't like you to space out like that Naruto… something you want to tell me?" Sasuke grunted with an influx of sarcasm in his voice that shocked his teammate. They were still on unstable grounds with each other as their issue still hasn't been resolved so to see him of all people jump in to save his life left Naruto speechless.

Pushing his larger and much taller opponent back Sasuke launched several shuriken at him that had wires attached to it. "Uchiha Style Bukijutsu: Shuriken Wire Coffin!" The Uchiha Clan were masters of Shurikenjutsu when they were alive and as the heir and only surviving member in the village Sasuke had picked up on the art to a degree everyone was expecting him too. This set up was all to familiar as fire danced around Sasuke's body next. "Fire Style: Dragon Fire Jutsu!" White hot flames raced down the wires and slammed into the White Walker causing it to screech in pain as Sasuke took the wires and forced the demons arms apart. No words needed to be spoken between the duo as they simply made eye contact with one another.

"Rasengan!" In an instant Naruto had a perfect chakra sphere in his hand curtesy of a shadow clone's assistance as he rushed forward and slammed it directly into the injured side of the tribal leader while reducing the power of the technique at the last second. Sasuke's fire wrapped around the low powered Rasengan and launched the tall lanky demon off his feet where he flew through the air and slammed into a nearby hill wear his armor was completely shredded from the force of the legendary technique.

The White Walker was unconscious at this point and the only thing left was to do clean up. It's spider steed was still very much alive as it saw its masters plight. Before it could make a move it suddenly found itself boxed in from all sides by walls made out of frost covered earth. "Earth Style: Earth Wall Jutsu!" It was Sakura's spotlight right now as she jumped to the top of the walls to see the spider attempting to climb up one of them, but she wouldn't allow that to happen. She didn't know what this thing could do but she wasn't willing to wait around and find out. Going through a set of hand signs she activated another one of her new techniques that none of her teammates have seen her do before. In fact, up until the other day when they were attacked by Nadare and his team Sasuke and Naruto had no idea just what kind of training their pink haired teammate underwent or what new things she may have learned. She kept all of the results of her training a secret from them in hopes of surprising them… and surprised they were then and currently are now.

"Genjutsu: Midnight Flower Mirror." Sakura was silent as she casted her strong illusion over the large spider trapped below her. The area within the confines of the box she created darkened significantly until the spider couldn't see anymore while white cherry blossom petals fluttered around it further obscuring its vision. Stunned and without sight it had no time to react to Sakura's finishing blow. "Earth Style: Stone Fist Jutsu!" Sakura's fist was encased in the frosty earthen soil around her that she then used to increase the power behind her strike. Jumping off of her earth wall Sakura fell out of the air and with momentum and gravity on her side she slammed her stone covered fist into the back of the spider smashing it into the ground and rendering it incapacitated as she unintentionally hit a soft spot on its anatomy.

Jumping out of her makeshift cage of earth Sakura dropped to the ground and panted as she looked at her handy work. She used up a lot of chakra making those four walls big enough to completely trap that spider. She could only manage one at that size per setting but instead she made four on top of the Genjutsu and other techniques she used. She was growing by leaps and bounds but she wasn't quite there yet. But despite that fact she was immensely proud of her progress as she turned when she heard a commotion going on near her. It was Iris and Chaos and they weren't alone.

The three goblins from earlier that Chaos blasted back were on the move once more and they were mere feet from the twins who were still in each other's embrace. "GIRLS!" Naruto shouted as he saw the goblins approach. Naruto wasn't worried about a bunch of D – Rank demons overpowering his two daughters. Never in a million years would three measly impish creatures get the jump on his girls… not to mention the fact that if they so much as touch Iris's skin there's a very strong chance they'd be purified on the spot... despite that very real reassurance... he just would prefer it that they don't even lay so much as a single finger on them. He didn't want them anywhere near his precious babies.

'Wait a minute! This presence!' In the back on Naruto's mind a beacon as bright as the sun blared to live as the mysterious and elusive presence that he and the Nine Tails have been sensing for so long practically lit up his sensory perception. It was completely overwhelming and was all that he could focus on which could only mean one thing… it was here.

Time seemed to slow down in that exact moment as Iris and Chaos prepared to defend themselves. The Angeloid's blade wings were becoming taunt as she was contemplating skewering them alive while Iris was preparing a gust of wind to knock them back when a small lightning fast moving blur charge out of the blue and ripped one of the goblins out of the air. The other two were blown away by Iris's wind while the third one let out a screech of agony as its throat was ripped out by a much superior predator.

Everyone was silent as the snow settled and the dead goblin could be seen laying on the ground with a slightly larger four-legged predator standing above it. It was a beautiful and majestic creature never before seen in this world as it was a one of a kind creation.

It had a canine like body with four legs and a fox like face with two large diamond shaped ears with a darker blue coloration of fur in its inner earlobe that twitch to every sound made in its environment. Two light blue colored bangles of fur fell down the side of its face that ended in teal colored tips while the whole end of the appendage was diamond shaped. They acted as feelers and could sense the environment around the creature giving it spatial awareness and a sixth sense. It's eyes were very animalistic in nature that had pure white vertical slits for pupils while its sclera were a very deep teal color that appeared almost dark blue. It had a small button nose that while unassuming was very powerful and sharp, very much like trained ninken. It's fur was a very soft baby blue with dark teal colored pigmented rhombus shaped markings on its back and its paws. It's tail which was in the same shape as its feelers with a diamond shaped tip had dark colored pigmentation on it as well. But perhaps one of the most distinguishing features on this mysterious new intruder was the three segmented crown of ice that was attached to its forehead called a tuque that was teal in color that was also in the same color as its feelers and the fur inside of its ears.

It gave quite the impression as a majestic and mysterious creature and turning to the last two goblins in front of it a low threatening grown escaped its throat before it unleashed a roar that was louder than what an animal its size should be capable of. Everyone was hit with a wave of fear from this roar which a veteran like Kakashi suspected that their must be some kind of power involved in the audio of its voice while Naruto froze on the spot for an entirely different reason. 'That roar… that distinct sound… it couldn't be… could it?' That roar sounded very familiar to Naruto and he was in complete denial about where he's heard it from.

Charging the last two goblins in a burst of speed the creature was upon them before they could blink and in an instant it opened its mouth that was overflowing with copious amounts of what Naruto could identify as ice magic and then in one swift movement it clamped down on the neck of the next goblin and started to shake its head in ferocious glee as the helpless creature was frozen to death from the inside out. Flinging him from its grasp the creature watched along with everyone else as the goblin's neck and closest shoulder started to crumble from the effects done to it… it was dead and now its companion knew it was next.

In an act of desperation, the last remaining goblin swung at it's predator's back with its axe but unknowingly to it this mirrored the same move its companion did a week ago when it and its group unintentionally stumbled into this apex predator's cave. The axe shattered on impact with the creatures back as its fur turned into diamond hard icicle quills. A growl escaped its fanged mouth as the fox like animal turned on a dime and unleashed a frozen breath of air onto the goblin that had him stumbling back as it had enough forethought to jump back at the last second. Frost was building up on its body by the second and knowing it had to do something and fast it tried to tackle the larger demonic creature in front of it but at the very last second something happened that caused everyone's breath to become hitched in their throats.

The tackle missed by a centimeter as the goblin tumbled to the ground in stupefied confusion. There was no way it missed its attack and everyone else agreed to the same assessment while Chaos's eyes glowed brightly in absolute glee while in the meantime the mysterious new creature stocked up behind its prey and unleashed a potent blast of frozen air that chilled the goblins body to the core freezing it in place. In an act of vindictive pleasure, the creature channeled more of its energy to its tail which turned a very familiar shade of purple that reflected the light around it like a blade. Spinning around the creature took its tail and split the frozen goblin in two shattering its body to pieces.

Roaring out its dominance and victory the small little fox like animal then locked eyes with Naruto and smirked with its fangs visible before stocking over to him causing Naruto and Sasuke to tense in caution. It showed no signs of stopping as it walked up to Naruto and rubbed his leg with its head. Any sense of dread and hostility from a moment ago was now gone as the creature rubbed itself against Naruto's legs and wagged its tail in pure elation and delight.

Utter silence was the only thing that persevered in the clearing as no one could give an answer to what was going on with this picture. Who was this little thing and where did it come from? A startled gasp of pain brought everyone's attention back to the injured shinobi with them as Iris and Chaos untangled themselves from each other and raced over to his side with Sakura doing the same. He was bleeding out from his earlier injuries and now that the battle was over, and the adrenaline was starting to leave his body the pain was becoming unbearable.

Iris was upon him in an instant as she placed her hands ignited with ethereal golden flames over his most pressing injury and began to heal it. Sakura was next as she brought out medical supplies from her pack and began tending to his small cuts and bruises. "Hey Sasuke…" Naruto called out while everyone else was distracted by what was going on. Turning to his teammate Sasuke was shocked to see the look of uncertainty on Naruto's face. It was an unfamiliar look to see in his eyes as he turned to him with the look slowly transitioning over to gratitude. "Thanks for earlier… I appreciate it." Naruto mumbled out while scratching the back of his head in awkward embarrassment. He wasn't sure how to approach his teammate who he wasn't speaking too right now but that was a good first start.

A small untraceable smile broke out onto Sasuke's face as he bumped shoulders with Naruto with a look in his eyes that said more than what his words ever could. "Anytime. I haven't considered you a loser in a very long time, ever since you started showing your real talent. But don't freeze up like that again." A smirk cracked his face and an identical one formed on Naruto's face as well as he shook his head in amusement. "Sure…"

It took a few minutes, but the boy was brought to a stable condition while the tribal leader of the white walkers woke up from his injuries. "Now that things aren't so crazy do you mind telling us your name?" Naruto asked while crouched down next to the older boy. Things were stable for now, so it was the right time for questions and answers. Coughing into his fist the boy looked at everyone around him and introduced himself. "My name is Jairo Kaminarimon and I am a shinobi of the Hidden Leaf Village. I was sent here on a long-term undercover mission to aid the government here in making a prototype model for a new mode of transportation. I'm more of a scientist and engineer than anything else really, but since my father and grandfather were both ninja dating all the way back to the Warring States Era, I kind of became one myself. Though, my personal dream is to start my own company one day."

The now named boy was met with warm looks from his new allies while Naruto had a shocked look on his face. "You're the one who invented the train?" This young man was the brilliant mind behind the creation of the locomotive and train tracks? The world was a very small place then since that was the whole reason Naruto was out this far from camp. Chaos knew about all of this he was sure of it now. Nothing was ever a coincidence when it came to his daughters.

"Train! How did you know about that?" Jairo squawked as he didn't expect anyone else from outside of the country to know about his skill set and achievements. Now everyone's eyes were on Naruto now as he sheepishly scratched the back of his head in embarrassment. "Naruto…?" Sakura probed with a raised eyebrow as she was certain this had to be another strange phenomenon that follows her teammate around. Her assumption would be proven right as Naruto just wordlessly pointed to Chaos who giggled at the spot light put on her.

In the meantime, with the hostilities now over Naruto talked with the tribal leader and discovered his name. Avalesk was the name of the White Walker he faced in combat and after reviving his other clansmen and their spiders he informed Naruto that there was trouble brewing in the Land of Snow.

"What kind of trouble are you talking about?" This didn't bode well for Naruto as Avalesk leaned down to whisper in Naruto's ear causing his eyes to widen. 'Something that big created these White Walkers?! Something that big has lived here all this time and no one else knew about it? If this Dotō guy is trying to awaken such a creature to do his bidding, then this could easily become an international incident. It would be like the equivalent to having a Tailed Beast in his possession.' Naruto paled at this notion as things just took a drastic turn he wasn't prepared for. These White Walkers whose progenitor was an ancient demon who lived up here in the north pole knew that Dotō was a sinister man up to no good. They wanted him dead and any shinobi they viewed in this land was their enemy. No wonder Jairo was targeted… he's been working for the government here in the Land of Snow developing the train. He would be branded a target right off the bat.

Naruto allowed the White Walkers to leave after that but not before promising them to stop Dotō and his plans. They imparted to him a secret to stopping what was to come and now with such as task set before him Naruto was determined to see it through. As the current Shī-ō of the Uzumaki Clan it was his duty to protect the supernatural realm and prevent it from interfering with the mortal world. That was the sacred duty of the Uzumaki Clan before they were destroyed on the onset of the Third Shinobi World War. Now it was Naruto's turn to pick up the mantle and continue their legacy.

"Guys… things are a lot more serious than we may have first thought. I have a lot to tell you." Naruto spoke up gravely as his team had stood back and watched as he communicated with the White Walkers. They couldn't understand a word they were saying but Naruto could and now he had to translate what was said as it was very important.

"We're listening Naruto… but do you mind telling us just what exactly is that little pet you have their attached to you like glue?" Kakashi eye smiled as he's never once in his entire life seen a creature like the one currently hanging off his strongest student. A tingle went up his spin every time he looked at it as a sense of déjà vu would assault Kakashi's mind. There was something very familiar with this creature and it had something to do with Naruto himself. He was just afraid to delve too deep into his speculations as he might not like what he may find.

"Uh…?" Naruto didn't have a prefect answer picked out to explain away the mystery that was the friendly little fox like creature currently resting against his leg but before he could even find the right words to give a more suitable answer everyone's attention was brought to a disturbance behind them in the form of Henrietta running up the hill out of breath with a frantic look in her eyes. "NARUTO!" Immediately the blond haired Chūnin was up in arms since Henrietta's dress was cut and ripped in several places while she looked like she was just in a fight.

"Henrietta what happened to you? Are you okay?" Naruto had a fearful look in his eyes as he ran up to Henrietta and caught her just as she collapsed into his arms. She was exhausted and out of breath, not to mention she clearly just came from a fight. Everyone else was on guard immediately as something must have happened back at the filming camp to warrant this frantic state of panic.

"The camp was attacked by a horde of goblins while you were away! Their had to be at least 50 of them! We managed to kill most of them with the help of this strange little fox creature." Completely ignoring the last little tidbit of information that Henrietta revealed in her explanation, rage was instantly in Naruto's eyes as he checked Henrietta over for injury. "Did they hurt you?! Did they touch you anywhere Henrietta?!" Naruto questioned to a flustered Henrietta who squirmed around in his embrace. His hands were swiftly and frantically sweeping over and across her hips, arms, legs, and even her chest and much to her embarrassment and secret satisfaction the chestnut-haired girl liked the sensation of her partner's touch. She always enjoyed whenever he would dote on her. It was a guilty pleasure of hers, but now was definitely not the time to get lost in her love-struck fantasies. When Naruto's hand accidentally patted her on her deceptively plump and perky butt Henrietta squeaked with a boiling red face of embarrassment and gently pushed Naruto back.

"I'm okay Naruto and so is everyone else. Those little creatures were going after the women in the crew, but we managed to kill them all before they could. It's just Yukie that we have to worry about. She went missing during the commotion. I'm scared Naruto… you know what goblins can do to civilian women." Henrietta warned as she was very fearful for Yukie's chances out in the wild alone. She herself never saw the actress get captured or dragged away by one of these impish creatures but if that many attacked the camp it stood to reason that others could be out in the area and if the actress ran away in fear then she could unknowingly be walking into a trap.

Looking pass Naruto's shoulder Henrietta gasped as she pointed to the little fox behind him. "That's him… he's the little guy who helped us kill off all of those goblins!" The marionette shouted out caused those to look to the little predator in shock. It helped protect the town? Just what was going on and what were its intentions? Those question burned in the back of everyone's minds, but they would have to wait until later. Right now, their client was in danger and a storm was brewing here in the Land of Snow. It was time to get down to business.

"I understand Henrietta… come on guys… let's go!"

To be continued...

Jutsu Library

1.) Fire Style: Majestic Flame Jutsu - The user kneads chakra in their stomach and expels a large stream of flames from their mouth that progressively widens with range. This technique can also be used collaboratively to create an enormous vortex of rapidly expanding flames. The flames are hot enough to quickly evaporate large quantities of water within a relatively short amount of time.

2.) Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu - The user creates a thousand shadow clones from one shuriken, striking down the enemy. This is a technique that combines ninja tools with Ninjutsu. Compared to normal shadow clones, clones of material objects are said to be on a far higher level. There is no need for preparations beforehand, like stocking up on shuriken, or kunai, yet since the shadow clones are real and not illusions, all the shadow blades that fly around are equally lethal. Because the clones form in just an instant, completely evading them is next to impossible. This technique can also be used on Fūma shuriken, increasing its lethality.

3.) Kenjutsu: X – Scissor - A technique that Naruto created that allows Naruto to cut an opponent in an "X" formation leaving an "X" shaped scar across the user's body. For ease of use it works best when dual wielding.

4.) Kenjutsu: Accelerated Decapitation - A move that Naruto came up with in the heat of battle mixed in with his determination to escape a dire situation he found himself in. Coating himself in his Accel Cloak Naruto who has a sword or bladed weapon in his hands {It can be a real weapon, or one created from his Ice Style} disappears in a burst of speed granted to him by his Accel Turn and swiftly decapitates his target in one fluid and quick motion. The victim will have no time to react since this technique is used at point black range and it is used during the element of surprise which will catch the opponent off guard.

5.) Phoenix Interceptor Style: Blaze Fist - A Hand to Hand combat technique that Sōkyoku uses that allows her to channel Fire Magic to her hands. She can coat her hands in intense white flames that allows her to increase the amount of damage she can dish out. Anything touched by these flames would instantly be disintegrated and the concussive force would blow away anything near the point of impact with a dense shockwave. This is the singular version and progenitor of her double fist variant.

6.) Wind Style: Hurricane Fist Jutsu - A low level Wind Style Jutsu that causes swirling winds to form around the user's fist. Although it is a Ninjutsu it is mostly used in Taijutsu combat to augment the users punching strength. The winds generated by the Jutsu are strong enough to launch opponents away and send them flying. The winds can also be concentrated in the user's hands to palm thrust opponents or to grip, catch, or push things away from the user.

7.) Yōjutsu: Glacial Rush - A simplistic yet strong technique from the Arctic Ogres that allows them to gather up a thick penetrating bulwark of Yōki and ice that can barrel through most barricades. However, because of the strength of the user the actual technique itself lacks a certain amount of potency.

8.) Artemis - While her wings are manifested Chaos can conjure her tainted flames and target multiple objects or enemies at the same time using her targeting systems. When they fire they are fast, traveling two to three times faster than the fireballs she shoots from her hands. They are smaller and in the shape of bullets. They have a lot of piercing power but a lower amount of explosive power. They are good at intercepting or bombarding targets.

9.) Shadow Clone Jutsu - A Jutsu invented by the Second Hokage, Tobirama Senju. The technique was created to be used to spy on an enemy without fear of going in person. The Jutsu works by splitting the chakra of the user evenly in two which makes the clone have half of the user's chakra. By creating multiple clones, the fraction in which you have to split your chakra becomes larger. The clones can think independently of one another and can use any technique that the original can use as long as they have enough chakra to use it. A clone can feel pain and can even bleed, but it will be dispelled if it is hit hard enough. The unique ability of the Jutsu is that during the clones' entire life span it is recording everything that its five senses experiences and upon dispelling all of that information is transferred back to the caster of the Jutsu. Because of this training or learning something new that would take an extended amount of time can be cut down to a fraction of the time depending on the number of clones you use. Because you have multiple people learning the same thing at the same time and having all of that knowledge compiled into one person it can speed up the time it takes to learn something.

10.) Wind Style: Great Breakthrough Jutsu - A technique that simply creates a ferocious gust of wind, whose scale and usage varies depending on the user. If used by a superior shinobi, it has enough destructive power to knock down a large tree. The wind from the squall can blow away all things in the user's line of sight. The technique can also be used in the form of a devastation stream of wind expelled from the user's mouth.

11.) Yōjutsu: Nature's Imperium Authority - A powerful demonic technique used by the mysterious and powerful demon race called the White Walkers. This technique causes the very earth itself and everything included in nature to become animated and brought to life. In a form similar to transmutation nature itself attacks the opponent in a never ending wave that overwhelms everything in its path. The attack is very powerful and offers avenues of both attack and defense at the exact same in the same formula and when used by its creator the technique is incredibly potent and versatile.

12.) Rasengan - The Rasengan is a spinning ball of chakra formed and held in the palm of the user's hand. Once it is formed, it also does not require any additional chakra to sustain it, which means that there is no definite limit to how long the Rasengan can be used. Though the Rasengan's shape is consistent from user to user, its size varies from only barely large enough to be noticeable to much larger than the user's hand. With greater experience with the Rasengan comes a larger size. On contact, the Rasengan grinds into its target, propels them along the Rasengan's trajectory - either away from the user or into the ground beneath them - and at some point, bursts causing severe damage at the point of contact.

13.) Demonic Art: Winter Fairy Freeze Vision - A technique that allows Eva to freeze anything in her line of vision. It is a move that she instinctively knows, and it is one of several that all of the winter fairies are capable of using.

14.) Phoenix Interceptor Style: Fire Lash - A simple technique that Iris develops that allows her to create a fire whip in her hands that she can use that has the same dexterity a normal physical whip would have. The upside to this technique being she can severely burn any target she attacks with this lengthy whip.

15.) Phoenix Interceptor Style: Double Blaze Punch - A Hand to Hand combat technique that Sōkyoku uses that allows her to channel Fire Magic to her hands. She can coat her hands in intense white flames that allows her to increase the amount of damage she can dish out. Anything touched by these flames would instantly be disintegrated and the concussive force would blow away anything near the point of impact with a dense shockwave.

16.) Black Magic: Nightshade - This technique is a very peculiar attack that Chaos can use that directly affects a person's body by damaging a victim's body based on the amount of energy they contain. Chaos fires a black or dark crimson beam which travels similar to lightning; outlined in red, blue, or purple from either her hands or wings at the intended target. Chaos can also use this ability in an omni-directional wave. Chaos's body is surrounded by a purplish aura that dyes her actual body a pale purple color. She then releases multiple crimson rings from her body at the target. When the rings hit the opponent, their body becomes surrounded in a pale purple like aura. The technique works by poisoning a person's energy reserves and causing it to shock the person's body from the inside out like a taser. If the victim has a small pool of energy within their body, then they will barely be affected by this attack. On the other hand, if the victim is a powerful being with large reserves of energy then their very own power will inflict pain on them. It will have the same sensation of being burned or electrocuted from the inside out.

17.) Holy Magic: Light Spear - This simple technique that is used by all Angels and Fallen Angel's alike allows any holy being to summon a stylized spear made out of Holy/Unholy Aura that is colored in a variety of colors. This spear depending on the power of the user can be very strong or weak and even break if it comes in contact with stronger foes. The user can wield the weapon in a melee style or throw it at their enemy in a long-range attack.

18.) Phoenix Fire: Heat Wave - A magic attack that Iris invented during the heat of battle. This technique rapidly heats up the atmosphere around Iris to the boiling point. At full strength, the heat could be comparable to standing on the surface of the sun. The heat is so much that any organic matter around Iris will evaporate almost instantly and inorganic materials will begin to melt after a short amount of exposure to this technique. Iris herself is left completely unharmed by the intense heat but any other person around her would die if they didn't flee in time.

19.) Phoenix Interceptor Style: Blaze Propulsion - A Hand to Hand combat technique that Sōkyoku uses that allows her to channel Fire Magic to her feet. Out of the soles of her feet comes super condensed jets of fire that propel her forwards at mind numbing blistering speeds well past the speed of sound and beyond. On the ground flaming charred footprints of where she has stepped can be seeing so the move is not meant for stealth but more for wide open field combat.

20.) Phoenix Interceptor Style: Blaze Kick - A Hand to Hand combat technique that Sōkyoku uses that allows her to channel Fire Magic to her legs and feet. She can coat her legs and feet in intense white flames that allows her to increase the amount of damage she can dish out. Anything touched by these flames would instantly be disintegrated and the concussive force would blow away anything near the point of impact with a dense shockwave.

21.) Dark Magic: Night Slash - A versatile and simple move that Chaos can use at close range. Chaos summons her wings and extends them while covering it in purplish Dark Magic Energy. This increases the cutting and destructive power of her wings and makes it more dangerous to combat her at close range. She's also capable of launching them as mid range crescent shaped projectiles.

22.) Lightning Style: Lightning Blade - A technique that was created by Kakashi Hatake. It is a S-Rank Jutsu that is made for one hit kills and assassinations. It is so powerful that it was said Kakashi split a real lightning bolt in half with it. It is a more concentrated and enhanced form of the Lightning Style: Chidori Jutsu the parent Jutsu to the Lightning Blade and also a Jutsu that Kakashi created. It is also the very first and his only original technique that he has credit for using. All derived Jutsu from the Lightning Blade was also created by Kakashi unlike the hundreds of Jutsu that he knows that he did not create.

23.) Genjutsu: Optic Delusory - A Genjutsu that allows one to trick others into mistaking the place they're in for another. This technique's main feature is that it can be cast over an extensive surface, therefore any and all who step into the illusion's area of effect will fall under the spell. That said, it might not work so well on people who are well-versed or otherwise skilled in Genjutsu.

24.) Earth Style: Headhunter Jutsu - This technique allows its user the ability to stealthily move under a light surface of the ground without being detected by the enemy. Once under the enemy the user is able to drag the opponent down under the ground to their head. The opponent will be immobilized momentarily until they are able to break free from the technique, this also allows for easy targeting to the head of an opponent for the duration of their capture. Skilled Shinobi can use the substitution technique to evade this fate.

25.) Lightning Style: Chidori - The Chidori is a high concentration of lightning chakra around the user's hand. To perform, the user first gathers lightning to their hand; the high concentration of electricity produces a sound reminiscent of many birds chirping, hence the name. Once the chakra is gathered, users charge at their target and thrust the Chidori into them, piercing them and typically causing fatal damage. Despite the sound it makes, the rapid speed at which it's used makes it useful for assassinations.

26.) Ice Style: Ice Ground Spears Jutsu - A move that Naruto uses. The user must be connected to the ground for this to work (Preferably by the feet) the user sends a surge of chakra through the ground that will travel to the intended target. The ground should freeze over in a thin sheet of ice. Once the user has his chakra spread out in his desired area, he or she will send a pulse of chakra out into the area which will cause ice spikes to shoot out of the thin icy patch that their chakra created earlier. The technique is good for taking down enemies by impaling them in their legs.

27.) Kenjutsu: Arctic Duet Dance - An upgraded version to Naruto's signature technique that incorporates him using a Shadow Clone as a partner to perform his highly advanced sword technique. The additional presence of another clone using his own pair of swords greatly increase the potency and numerical number of sword strikes being unleashed per minute which can overwhelm most sword wielding opponents in very little time. The coordination and precision that needs to be balanced between Naruto and his clone during the sequence of the technique must be flawless in order to prevent the two from getting in each other's way which makes this a very complex and advanced technique above the norm.

28.) Acceleration - Accelerating Turn works by storing Kinetic energy in one's own body, reinforced by their own internal energy (Chakra, Yōki, etc.), and then releasing that kinetic energy through an opening in the shielding their internal energy is creating at the bottom of their feet allowing the user to reach and utilize explosive high-speed movements.

29.) Kenjutsu: One Slice - A sword technique where the user slashes their sword in front of them and a cut will appear on the target even though the sword never touched the target. This is a long-range attack that cuts the opponent with the same cutting ability as the actual sword that is used.

30.) Uchiha Style Bukijutsu: Shuriken Wire Coffin - Sasuke's favorite technique that he often showcases during battle. He throws numerous shuriken with ninja wire attached to it at his target that wrap around their bodies and constricts their movements at a moments notice. As a technique derived from the Uchiha Clan it is often used in conjunction with the Sharingan for perfect accuracy and strategic follow up attacks. In Sasuke's case he then proceeds to use his preferred paired up technique the Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu to conduct a blazing trail of fire down the length of the wires using it as a guiding conductor to ignite the intended target wrapped up in the wires on fire and incinerated them.

31.) Fire Style: Dragon Fire Jutsu - The user breathes fire along a cord or any other type of long object, which rushes forward in straight line catching the enemy on fire. A line of enemies can be used as the conductor as well. The flames are meant to target and assault the enemy's upper body just like a projectile weapon.

32.) Earth Style: Earth Wall Jutsu - The user creates a solid wall of earth as a form of defense. Chakra is either converted to earth within the body and then spat out to form the wall or the user can manipulate pre-existing earth to form the wall. The earth then instantly rises up and takes form. The barrier itself is also coated with chakra, making its strength incomparable to that of a normal mud wall. Because of the earth's special characteristics, the wall is highly resistant against, for instance, fire and water.

33.) Genjutsu: Midnight Flower Mirror - The user casts an illusion which surrounds the target in flower petals and darkens the surroundings around them.

34.) Earth Style: Stone Fist Jutsu - By encasing their arm in rock, the user can deal a powerful hardened punch against an opponent while being protected from direct contact with their target. If necessary, the weight of the rock can be increased to further increase the punch's destructive power.

Author's Note (A/N): This was quite the chapter that I put together. It took me a while and a lot of effort but I managed to get it done. This is a monumental chapter that introduces Naruto's familiar that he accidentally created when he was trying to properly make one all the way back in Chapter 53. The seeds were planted all the way back then as his familiar which he hasn't named yet ended up being teleported to the Land of Snow after the botched attempt.

Naruto and Kurama have the most heart to heart conversation as of yet with the great tailed beast revealing his inner feelings on not only what he thinks about Naruto, but on his desire to return to his home on Hōrai Island. During the course of this conversation Naruto advocates and offers up his help in supporting Kurama and returning home by mastering Fūinjutsu. This spirals their conversation down a hole neither knew they would go too as the two eventually come to a mutual agreement and partnership. Kurama also alludes to the fact that their mysterious familiar is on the move and looking for them.

Team 7 and the Mafia discuss the ongoing issue they are facing with their adversaries and the past history pertaining to the client and mission as a whole. Naruto in the meantime begins working on a new seal to help neutralize the enemies chakra armor.

It is at this point that Chaos wanders off from the camp and discovers a railroad track which is an unfamiliar invention in the world. Though initially surprised and amazed at the discovery, Naruto takes notice of the fact Chaos didn't scan the tracks to learn what it is which leads to the revelation that she's seen these sorts of technologies in her past life. As a sore topic Naruto gently steers the conversation in a new light as he understands how sensitive Chaos can be with regards to her past.

She then brings to everyone's attention the fact that a young boy is being chased by a tribe of demons. It is revealed that this boy is Jairo Kaminarimon, Denki from the Boruto series father as a young man. The demons that are chasing him are mythical creatures with two of them being quite rare. The White Walkers and the Arctic Arachnids. I discovered these from Game of Thrones and other media sources. We also get to see Goblins make a debut into the story and these are the kind of goblins from Goblin Slayer which I make an inside joke about which should allude to the kind of danger they can pose to women in particular.

When diplomacy fails between Naruto and the group after he reveals his status to them a fight ensues in which we get to see Naruto fighting side by side with his children which is a sight we rarely get to see. The White Walkers and their mounts prove to be the serious threat of the bunch as they demonstrate powerful abilities and swordsmanship that has Naruto on his back foot for a while. Chaos and Iris are both given their time to shine in which they overpower their opponents with new techniques from both sisters. The fight itself draws to a close with the intervention of Team 7 who help mop up what is left of the tribe with both Sasuke and Sakura also being given the spot light. Naruto's familiar makes his debut at the end of the fight where he kills off the three goblins in battle.

Naruto and Sasuke share a brief moment of reconciliation with each other while Naruto's familiar becomes very "familiar" with him much to everyone's confusion and curiosity. Jairo introduces himself and Naruto gets a chance to speak with the leader of the White Walkers who calls himself Avalesk. He warns Naruto that Dotō is up to no good and that it involves and ancient demon that is the progenitor to the White Walkers.

With the severity of the situation being made known to him Naruto attempts to discuss this with his team but is interrupted by Henrietta coming to report that Yukie went missing when a horde of goblins attacked the camp. (I also had to throw in some fanservice for Naruto and Henrietta!)
