"They took Tomoko."
That was the only thing Gohan could think about as he sat in a room that U.A. had placed him in. He was trying to keep it together but he couldn't get those words out of his head and it only brought him back to the camp and how things went after he was told them.
"What do you mean they took her!" Gohan shouted as he turned a furious glare at the villains. His black hair flashed gold as he grabbed the first person he could get his hands on. "WHERE IS SHE?!" he bellowed and it felt like the ground quaked in fear of his voice.
"Gohan!" Aizawa shouted as he grabbed the enraged saiyan by his shoulders and pulled for all the good it did, he'd have had an easier time trying to move a mountain. "Gohan, killing them will not get us anywhere, leave it to us to interrogate them for information," he hurriedly said as the young man had his hands tightly wrapped around the squirming villains throat. He could tell the blonde girl was choking with the way she wasn't even able to cough and wheeze.
Gohan threw the girl down on the ground hard enough that she bounced. He turned away so that he wouldn't look at the villains when he could hear them chuckle. "Man you guys got yourself a real fuckin' psycho of your own," Magne laughed as he found it hilarious how hypocritical these so called heroes were that they would resort to violence so quickly.
"Seriously, shut the fuck up," Shino ordered as she kicked Magne in the head enough to make him stop trying to rile up Gohan even further. "Gohan, we'll find her. I promise. Maybe you can try and sense her, see if she just got lost or something." She suggested, as anything that would keep Gohan's attention right now would be a good thing for him, rather than let him sit and worry himself to death.
"Fine, I'll try," Gohan sighed as he pushed out his senses far, miles and miles were covered as he looked for her life energy. But no matter how far he went, even when he reached the city limits he still couldn't find her. "She's… she's gone," Gohan said sadly as he looked back at his classmates despondently.
However in the process of getting the villain that Gohan had defeated tied up Hagakure shrieked in surprise when the man suddenly regained his consciousness and tried to grab her, but she jumped out of the way quick enough that he missed due to her not being visible. "Oh is the target sad, did we kidnapped his dumb whore of a girlfriend?" Muscular said as he wiped the dirt, sweat and blood out of his face as he got up off the ground.
Gohan ground his teeth angrily at the taunting as he prepared to knock the man around a bit to get him to shut up.
"Don't worry, after we're done with her, you can have the body," Muscular howled to the sky as the others bristled at his comment.
"What the FUCK Did you say about my Tomoko?" Gohan stomped towards the blonde man even as others tried to get him to not fall for the words.
"I said, I bet I could have shown her what a real man feels like before I ripped her limbs off and used her as a-" Musculars voice was cut off as a massive beam of energy ripped through his body vaporizing him instantly and continued onward to carve a groove in the ground that went on for miles through the forest, obliterating anything in its path before it struck a mountain and a huge explosion disintegrated it in a flash of light.
"That's what I thought you said." Gohan said as he lowered his hand and turned towards the group who stared at him frozen in fear. "Find her," was all he said before he rocketed off into the sky.
"He just killed a man," Shiozaki said finally after everyone had been stunned into silence at the brutal display of power.
"I'm more worried about him blowing up a mountain and not giving a shit," Honenuki disagreed as he couldn't really care about a man who dug his own grave but a classmate turning a large portion of the landscape into nothing more than a barren trench was concerning.
"Congratulations you dumb bastards." Vlad King shook his head slowly as he looked down at the villains who were staring at the destruction Gohan had caused in horror. He too was terrified because Gohan had just put out more power than a nuclear bomb and he knew that the saiyan was still holding back. "You just pissed off the strongest being in the universe. I really hope that you thought your plan all the way through." He was not sure what kind of moron would do something as idiotic as trying to trigger Gohan.
"Doctor, I have the quirk, are the preparations ready?" All for One said to a man at a computer as he stood over a table where a form draped under a white sheet lay.
"Yes, we have all the stronger versions of the nomu ready for when they arrive, they will serve as excellent canon fodder to distract the others while you defeat the child and take his quirk," the mad scientist said as he was sure this plan would succeed where Dr. Gero and the Red Ribbon Army had failed.
"Excellent, now we just need to lure him in with bait." All for One said as he stepped out of the room and shut the door.
"Where are you at with your investigation King Furry?" Bulma asked as she sat in a meeting room with all the U.A. staff, the three remaining Wild Wild Pussycats, his majesty King Furry, his generals, the top ten heroes, her husband and the Z Fighters. The only one not present was Gohan who was told many times that he needed to stay away from this situation.
It was the hardest thing they'd had to do to keep him out. To see how distraught he was when they had to walk him through why he couldn't be involved at any step. That this wasn't fighting some world ending villain, this was a hostage situation and he was too emotionally invested to think clearly.
"We have almost nothing, our intelligence network is tracking anything entering or leaving the country. We have analysts monitoring traffic cameras, every hero agency on the planet has been briefed that Ms. Shiretoko is a high priority missing person. But we've turned up nothing," the blue dog man sighed as when he was given the incident report from the lodge he'd nearly passed out from fright.
"Dende hasn't seen anything either, but he's still looking," Piccolo added as the Guardian of Earth had this as his top priority and was looking around the planet to try and locate any of the people he knew about from the previous attacks.
"We've gone out and checked any rough locations that we know of," Tien added in as he and the other fighters had gone to some dark places around the world looking for where Gohan's girlfriend could be. They busted up gangs, warlords, even the yakuza, no wretched hive of scum and villainy was left undisturbed as they'd fought through hundreds of people to find any information they could. Which wasn't much, all that it came back to was this All for One character.
Who they were able to be informed by All Might who that man was and the history they shared. "I'm so sorry that I didn't stop him years ago, then all of this might not be happening," All Might apologized sadly as he felt that part of this was his responsibility.
"It's okay All Might, things like this have a way of coming back to bite people, after all Cell was just a result of Dr. Gero's hatred of Goku when he was a kid," Krillin patted the big man on the back understanding where he was coming from.
"What I want to know is why take Kakabrat's mate in the first place?" Vegeta huffed in annoyance as he'd been brought in at Bulma's request for his insight and his willingness to use unsavory methods of getting information out of people. The villains that had attacked the camp didn't last long before they told Vegeta everything that they knew, which wasn't much to begin with. "If they wanted to hurt him it's working but that doesn't serve any purpose but ensuring he slaughters them all."
"That's not an inaccurate assessment," Bulma sighed. "What did you say this All for One guy did, take quirks?"
"Yes, he was able to steal the quirk of anyone he could get his hands on, it's how he's gotten so strong over the years, by taking hundreds of quirks for himself." All Might illuminated the group on the capability of his nemesis.
"So if it comes down to it, we should be the ones to fight him, just so that he doesn't get his hands on any of yours?" Piccolo suggested, as Vegeta and himself didn't have quirks at all to be stolen and he didn't particularly feel like letting another bad guy get stronger just because they were feeling cocky.
"Oh shit!" Shino shouted as she realized what the goal was. "That's why he chose Tomoko, her quirk. This is bad." she said as she started to pace around the room.
"What? What's bad?" Eighteen asked as she wondered what could make the other woman freak out like she was doing.
"Tomoko's quirk let her observe and monitor up to one hundred people, but it also showed her their weak points." Shino explained what her teammate's ability did and why that would be enticing for a villain such as All for One.
Everyone in the room understood why someone like All for One might like a quirk like that. "So he abducted her to get her quirk to find Gohan's weakness," Master Roshi shook his head sadly.
"So it's even more important that Gohan doesn't go after him," Nezu stated as his genius mind pieced together the puzzle of what the villain's plan was. "If the goal of All for One was to find out a way to defeat Gohan, it would only be playing into his hands for him to be involved."
"There has to be a way to find someone on this planet when we really need to?" Yamcha pounding his fist onto the tabletop as he couldn't think of anything else they could do.
"I've talked with my sister, she's looking around to try and find her," Master Roshi said as he'd forgone his spat with Baba because he needed to help Gohan now and the fortune teller was a powerful witch and her magic could be beneficial in locating the missing woman.
"Sir!" A man in a suit said as he burst into the room panting. "I got something," he said as he ran around and fumbled trying to plug a device into the projector. "We found a warehouse that suddenly had a large power draw in the dead of night," a satellite image showed a collection of buildings in a mostly abandoned district. "We checked the files and this place only popped up a day ago and it is registered to a woman that's been dead for a while, Nana Shimura."
"That's where he is!" All Might said furiously as he knew All for One was a sick bastard to use Nana's name like that. "That's the bait, he knew we wouldn't miss that."
"Then we form a team and strike hard and fast," King Furry said as he looked around the room receiving nods from those assembled.
"You found her?" Gohan said from the doorway of the room, his sudden appearance startling everyone who'd been so preoccupied with the meeting they didn't notice him arriving.
"Ye-yes, maybe, maybe," King Furry gulped as he was informed that Gohan was a little unstable at the moment with how emotionally affected he was about Ms. Shiretoko's disappearance. "We have a location that's suspicious and we are going to send in a full team to-"
"I'm going to be there," Gohan said before King Furry could finish speaking.
"Gohan please, we talked about this," Bulma shook her head. "I know you love her and want to be there when this all goes down, but this isn't a normal situation. You need to let us handle this. I promise she'll be brought home safe."
"But I have to-" Gohan started to say as his ki fluctuated.
"Gohan, I am a three hundred year old pervert," Master Roshi interrupted. "I have trained both your father and his grandpa Gohan. I have seen some shit, and there are times when I knew to step back even if I didn't want to. This is one of those times, you need to let the adults handle this." Master Roshi put his hand on Gohan's shoulder. "Come with me, we'll go somewhere and watch the situation but not get involved."
"But I-," Gohan protested as Master Roshi started to move him out of the room.
"I know, but do you really think Piccolo, Bulma, Krillin or all the others will screw this up, knowing how important it is to you? How much she means to you?" Master Roshi shook his head as he needed to keep Gohan from forming any arguments. "They will do everything in their power to get her back and if that isn't enough even Vegeta will throw in his might, because he knows that you love her."
"Master Roshi I'm scared," Gohan admitted as he was having trouble sleeping and eating the last few days knowing that she was abducted.
"I know Gohan," the elderly martial artist patted Gohan on the back as he led him to a monitoring room that was quickly set up at U.A. for people to be updated on the situation. This would allow the heroes, military and the fighters time to prepare for what they might come across when they raided the warehouse.
"Why don't I invite some of your friends to spend time with you?" Chi-Chi suggested as she'd been watching her son pace uncomfortably for the last few hours in the room. It was breaking her heart to see how upset he was.
"Wow Goten, you're brother doesn't look so good." Trunks commented as he and Goten had been sitting with some of the other younger kids that ended up there, namely Marron and Kouta who were brought by their parents and aunt respectively.
Goten was stretched out as he rested his arms on the table. "Yeah the lady he makes kissy faces with got kidnapped by some villains."
"You can't kidnap an adult Goten," Trunks folded his arms as he told off his half-saiyan friend.
"Yeah huh," Goten shot back. "Mommy said they kidnapped her so they must have also turned her into a kid too." Sticking out his tongue at Trunks who waved a fist in his direction threateningly.
"Idiots," Kouta sighed as he was the oldest of the four kids present. "She was abducted."
"Who are you calling an idiot?" Trunks said angrily.
"Boys," Chi-Chi called out over her shoulder with a warning tone in her voice.
"Sorry Ms. Chi-Chi," Trunks and Kouta said as they'd been told to be on their best behavior and that Gohan's mom was in charge.
"Don't worry, Mommy and Daddy are here and they'll save the day," Marron said as she was coloring in a book happily, unaware of the gravity of the situation.
"Pfft, my Mom and Dad are here you mean, she's the smartest and he's the strongest," Trunks rolled his eyes as he couldn't imagine anyone but them really doing anything.
"Nuh-uh Gohan's stronger," Kouta said as he saw first hand just how strong Gohan was when he defeated Muscular and he couldn't see anyone being stronger than that.
"Boys!" Chi-Chi said as she could hear an argument brewing again.
Trunks and Kouta moved away from each other and folded their arms with a pout.
The room became silent as the only other sound was Gohan pacing back and forth before the door opened and members of the 1-A and 1-B class came in the room. "Hey Gohan," Tsuyu said as she walked over to him. "You're mom sent us a text saying that you might like some of your friends to keep you company."
"Sure," Gohan said dismissively as he continued pacing even as the crowd of classmates milled about the room.
"How long has he been at that?" Uraraka asked Master Roshi as she came over and sat down next to the old man.
"A few hours," Master Roshi said as he tapped his cane on the ground rhythmically.
"Maybe some t.v. will help you take your mind off the situation," Momo suggested as she hit the power button on the remote, hoping that maybe some movie would distract him for even a few minutes. She hadn't known that the t.v. in the room had been last used for news updates and the first thing Gohan heard when the screen came on had his attention.
"We are here live at the Kamino Ward where numerous Heroes, including the Number One Hero Mr. Satan, are gathered for some type of raid," a reporter said as they were watching from a helicopter as a warehouse was surrounded by the task force that were moving in on the location they believed All for One to be hiding out at.
"Quick turn it-" Kirishima shouted in the hopes that the screen could be shut off in time, but Gohan moved like a blur and snatched the remote out of Momo's hands faster than she could hit the power button again.
Momo let out a squeak of surprise as Gohan looked down at her which she found incredibly intimidating. "Okay, we can keep watching the news." She chuckled as Gohan then fixed his eyes on the television screen.
"This must be serious as I can see that the area is being cordoned off by the military," the reporter went on to say as suddenly the warehouse they were filming exploded. "My god, the heroes are moving in. But… are those more of the villains that attacked Hosu?" the cameraman panning to show that the heroes were in battle with numerous Nomu.
"See it's fine, they just have Nomu," Shoji patted Gohan on the shoulder nervously. "We fought Nomu and Sensei Tien and the others are there too." As the cameraman was able to catch that the Z-Fighters were tearing through the artificial monsters. "Even Vegeta is with them too," as the saiyan prince was seen splattering the Nomu that got within arms reach of him as he confidently strode across the rubble of the warehouse, never having to do more than give them a dismissive strike to eliminate his opponents.
Gohan sighed in relief as he could see the battle was seemingly one sided. "Wait, who is that?" the reporter said as they pointed out of frame, causing the camera to turn to see a tall man in a suit standing on some concrete slabs.
"Must be that All for One fellow," Master Roshi stroked his beard. "Awfully bold of him to come out into the open."
"He's the one that took her," Gohan ground his teeth as he angrily stared at the screen. His muscles tensed as he saw that the professional heroes began to back away from the man leaving Piccolo, Vegeta and All Might, who didn't have to worry about One for All being stolen from him, to battle the villain.
"An excellent audience," All for One looked at the assembled group of people who were here to try and stop him. "But I notice that I'm missing the strongest," his voice a little disheartened that he did not see Gohan among their numbers. "I guess he must not have cared about the woman I took from him." He said as he turned his gaze towards the helicopter.
Gohan let out a growl as the remote shattered in his hand. "I'm going to eviscerate him," he swore as he stomped towards the door.
"Hold on he can't know that you're watching him, he's talking out of his ass," Katsuki shouted as he tried to stop Gohan from leaving the room. They had all been briefed that Gohan joining the fight would be one of the worst things to happen since he wouldn't be able to think straight and while they didn't think that All for One could win against the half-saiyan they didn't know what tricks he had in place to take advantage of Gohan's anger.
The camera jerked as the helicopter pilot pulled out of the way of an attack that the villain sent towards them. Likely as a means of pulling the attention of the heroes, but a tall three-eyed man flying in the sky had blocked it with his palm. This gave the pilot time to regain control of the vehicle enough that they didn't crash and were able to keep filming the incident. In doing so it allowed them to focus on different people down below them.
"We have other heroes moving around the rubble," the reporter commented as they saw that those who had backed off the villain had started trying to clear the area. "They found something. It's a body."
The sound of concrete breaking got everyone in the monitoring room's attention.
"Gohan!" Chi-Chi screamed when her son had shot off the ground and destroyed a wall to get outside, his form rapidly disappearing into the distance as he headed towards the Kamino Ward. "Dammit," she swore loudly as everyone hurried over to get a good look at the television.
"Oh god, is that?" Yui gasped as it looked like the Wild Wild Pussycats had found some person that had been buried in the destruction of the warehouse.
"I hope not," Videl said as she wished that it was anyone else by Tomoko underneath that dirty white cloth.
"Oh shit," Krillin said as he turned his head as he felt Gohan heading towards them.
"He didn't listen! I'll try and get him to turn around." Yamcha shouted as he flew off to intercept Gohan but the teenaged saiyan plowed right into the bandit and that had enough force to send him into the dirt. "Ow," Yamcha groaned as he felt like he just got hit by a train.
"This is perfect," All for One proudly declared as he watched his target land just on the other side of a mountain of rubble. "If all it took to get him out here was to show her off, I would have hung her body off of Tokyo Tower."
"What did you do All for One?!" All Might demanded to know what his nemesis had been up to. Because now he was worried.
Gohan slammed into the ground right in front of the Wild Wild Pussycats, his sudden arrival startling them especially with the firm look on his face as he stepped towards them nervously reaching out to the cloth covering the person they held.
"Gohan, please wait," Shino said sadly even as she didn't have the heart to stop him even as he lifted up the sheet to see Tomoko's still face.
He let the sheet drop as tears started to fill his eyes. "He killed her," Gohan's voice cracked. "I… I couldn't save her." Everything started to fall away from him as the sounds turned into buzzing in his head. "I wasn't strong enough to… to protect her and he took HER FROM MEEEEEEeeeeeeeee!" Gohan roared as his power level skyrocketed and a pillar of light erupted into the sky.
The air around them shot out in such a powerful gust that it forced everyone to hold their ground or be swept away. The earth itself began to shake uncontrollably around the world. People were toppled to the ground by the quaking under their feet. And the only sound that the camera could pick up over the howling winds was the pained cry of a man who had passed all sense and reason.
Back in the monitoring room everyone was stumbling around. "What's going on?" MIneta cried out as he held onto the couch to keep from getting tossed around.
"This children…" Master Roshi said sadly as he looked at the tv screen that was only showing the bright light. "Is the end of the world."
Gohan's voice finally broke as his body stretched and bulged in ways it wasn't meant to as it tried to compensate for all the power being put out. But the pain he felt in his body was nothing to the pain he felt in his heart as his yellow ki started to spark with vibrant blue energy before finally collapsing in on itself and retreating back into Gohan's body.
"Go...han?" Ryuko nervously said as she and the other Wild Wild Pussycats had been at the epicenter of Gohan's meltdown and could see that instead of his normal onyx black eyes or the green that was normal for his super saiyan form, right now they were only glowing white without any hint of an iris. But he seemed to not hear her as his focus shifted towards the cause of the pain.
"All for One," Gohan's voice bellowed as he turned to the villain and took a step forward, the ground cracking under the immense pressure his ki was giving off. He raised his hand and punched the large pile of rubble in his path which exploded in a shower of dust and debris.
"Jesus Christ," Shiozaki gasped as the camera was able to get a good look at Gohan's face, which shocked the viewers with it's horrifying expression.
"Oh my baby," Chi-Chi whimpered as she could see the pain and anguish that was apparent on his face, tears leaked from his eyes which turned into steam as it touched his face, leaving small wisps as he stalked towards the man who took away the woman he loved.
The Z Fighters started to give Gohan space as they felt immense power emanating from his body. They all shared a collective thought about how bad this situation was. The only sounds being the crash behind each of Gohan's steps and that laughter of the mad man who didn't know how fucked he was.
"Yes this is perfect," All for One proudly declared as he activated Tomoko's quirk to see the weakness that he hoped to exploit. "Now I will finish what others could not. I will emerge as the strongest being in the universe. Now show you me how to beat you!" His voice echoed in the quiet air.
Upon triggering it he was overwhelmed by the sheer power Gohan was giving off and fell to his knees as it dawned on him that there was no weakness in Gohan, not anymore, not when he took away the woman he loved.
"I'm going to kill you," Gohan said as he snapped his wrist forward which shot out an orb of ki faster than the villain could react. A shout sounded just off to the side as a spiraling purple beam impacted the attack and sent it careening into the night sky a moment later a bright flash blinded everyone as the ball exploded.
It took a while for people's vision to clear but afterwards they noticed that it had gotten much darker across the city, with the nearest light being from Gohan's powerful aura.
"Where's the moon?" the reporter asked as they could no longer see the celestial object in the sky when they looked up wondering why it was so dark. "Oh my god, he… he blew up the moon!" the reporter screamed in panic when they realized what had just happened.
This was the trigger for the fighters to throw themselves at Gohan, they needed to get him to regain control of himself but nothing they did even phased him. Punches and kicks did nothing to slow him down.
"He's lost all control and if any one of those blasts hit the planet then we're done for," Piccolo shouted as he rushed towards Gohan to try and snap him out of his rage. He was barely able to guard himself when Gohan smacked him away sending him shooting off into the distance.
Vegeta appeared in front of Gohan. "Well Kakabrat, looks like you finally hit your limit," spreading out his stance as the half-saiyan continued his approach. "Now you will cease like a good little boy," Vegeta shouted as he ascended and threw himself at Gohan, slamming his fist into the teens face, which made Gohan stumble back from the force of taking a direct hit.
Vegeta figured that he'd managed to knock some sense back into the boy but his eyes widened as Gohan pushed back and turned his head to look at Vegeta before slamming his own fist back into the saiyan prince's face. Vegeta rolled on the ground before finally coming to a stop. It took him a moment to wobble to his feet as he looked at Gohan in shock at how vast the power gap was between them now.
Master Roshi shook his head as he watched the television. "Well our planet had a good run," he said as he tried to smile. "I just never thought it'd end like this."
"Are we really going to die Master Roshi?" Chi-Chi asked as she was too transfixed by her son's image on the screen to look away.
"Not unless some kind of miracle happens," Master Roshi sighed as he couldn't think of anything that would work to stop Gohan's rage now. "And at least Otherworld isn't so bad," he said as he tried to find anything positive to hold onto at the moment and make sure the children weren't too scared about dying.
"Gohan!" All Might shouted as he got in front of Gohan. "I know I'm not strong enough to stop you, no one is, but you have to control yourself. You can't let him wi-," the titanic hero tried to say as he was batted out of the way like everyone else that had gotten in the path of Gohan's revenge.
Standing over the kneeling All for One Gohan raised his hand high into the air and started building a massive mall of ki that lit up the sky like the sun. "Burn in HFIL!" Gohan said as he moved to throw the ball that would exterminate not only the villain but all life on the planet before a strong hand gripped his wrist.
"Gohan you have to stop!" a firm voice said that made Gohan lose his concentration and shocked some sense back into him.
"D-dad?" Gohan turned his head to see his father, of all people standing behind him. The surprise of seeing Goku caused Gohan's power to slip and he fell back into his base form. "How are you-" he tried to ask before his father wrapped his arms around him tightly.
"I came because you were hurting," Goku said as he hugged his son. "I'm so sorry about what happened to your girlfriend, but killing everyone on the planet won't help."
"But Dad," Gohan whimpered as he returned the hug he so desperately needed at the moment. "He took her from me. She's dead and it hurts so much," tears soaking into Goku's orange gi.
Goku sighed as he stroked his son's hair. "I know Gohan. That's why I'm here. I came to stop you from hurting others because of your own pain. And don't worry, I'll go right to King Yemma's and bring her with me to King Kai's while we wait for you all to gather the dragon balls alright?" Smiling at his son as he knew that would make him feel better knowing that his girlfriend would be hanging out with him and King Kai in Otherworld and that she wouldn't be alone.
Gohan whined and nodded his head as he'd been so upset that she died that he lost all reason and didn't even think of the dragon balls because of how consumed by anger he had been. "That's good Gohan," Goku smiled down at his son. "I don't have much time," he said as he started to fade already. "I kind of broke the rules coming here, but I'm so proud of you."
"Dad, wait… don't go!" Gohan called out as his father disappeared into the air. Gohan was left staring into the night sky.
"Oh Goku." Chi-Chi sighed happily as everyone watching the television was able to see that her dead husband came back to stop her son from completely losing himself. She shook her head as a smile stretched on her face. "Always have to save the world," she chuckled as it made her feel good inside knowing that her husband, even now, was still looking out for everyone.
"What just happened?" Jirou asked as they had all seen the man in an orange gi who also had a halo suddenly appear to stop their classmate from blowing up the planet.
Master Roshi began to laugh loudly as he was elated to still be alive. "That child was what we call a miracle." He said proudly as his pupil had come through for the world again.
Gohan wiped the tears out of his eyes as he turned back towards All for One. "I should kill you," he said darkly at the man who started to scurry away from Gohan. "I should just kill you where you tremble and rid the world of you for good."
All for One had run out of space to cower as he'd been backed up against a wall. "But I won't, because I'm better than that. You are going to face justice in this life and the next," Gohan firmly grabbed the villains suit and dragged him over to the military who had set up the most secure containment they could bring portably to the area if they were able to capture All for One. Gohan threw him into the giant metal tube and shut the door on him.
However he could see that those who were in the area were looking at him warily as they had been witness to his display of anger. "Wow," Gohan muttered to himself as he took in the destruction, some of which he'd caused. "I really screwed this up didn't I?" He sighed as he'd done exactly what everyone had told him not to do.
Gohan found a news camera that was pointed at his face in the crowd and he moved over to it, even as people parted to keep space from him. "I'm… I'm really sorry for scaring everyone like I did." Apologizing on live television as he hoped that he could try to make up for nearly blowing up the planet. He rubbed his arm nervously as he couldn't really think about what to say. "I didn't mean to almost blow up the Earth. I'll try to not do that again in the future," he bit his lip nervously as he didn't know where to take his apology.
"How about you go on home Gohan? We'll take care of things around here, it's our job as heroes after all," All Might coughed as he shuffled over and patted the young saiyan on the shoulder. The hero figured it would be better for everyone if Gohan wasn't available to be pestered by the reporters or crowd, not with everything he'd just gone through.
Gohan floated into the air even as All Might kept waving him off, as he wasn't sure if he should leave without trying to clean up the mess that the other heroes and rescue teams were already working on. But he'd finally gone far enough away that he just continued until he realized he'd gone outside the city and all the way back to his home in the mountains.
With a gentle push he opened the door and stepped into the dusty home he grew up in. Shuffling down the hall he continued until he came to his bedroom. With a tiredness he didn't know he was feeling he collapsed into his bed and fell fast asleep.
Author's Notes: I kind of wanted to do a mix of Trunks' Super Saiyan Rage from the Goku Black arc of DBS and also when Goku powered up after seeing Eighter die in Path to Power, which I felt were too really good moments of displaying the amount of power a saiyan possessed. And I figured this fit in well with Gohan's history as he achieved the super saiyan 2 transformation after seeing Android 16 die, and he hadn't even really gotten that much of a chance to know him, but someone like Tomoko would push him over the edge and I couldn't only think of one way to stop Gohan from blowing up the Earth.
Seriously, if you haven't had a chance to watch Path to Power, do it and then realize how bad things would have been if Goku had been at the same level of power as Gohan had been after the Cell Games.
And yeah, I get that they have the Dragon Balls and that can solve most problems, which is why I'm making new ones in the next chapter that hopefully bring some more things to the table that aren't as simple as making a wish.
