8 days later...
"I really needed this...", Gabby said quietly while she was receiving deep tissue back massage, "thank you for encouraging me to come..."
"We have to spoil ourselves since we work hard... don't you think?" Stella groaned lightly from her massage table, her eyes closed.
"Yeah, you're right...", eyeing her friend with a smile on her face, "... every woman deserves a spa day like this...", Gabby moaned feeling reinvigorate by each minute.
"I'm glad we could do this together... it's not easy matching our schedule... you only have your weekends free...", Stella uttered opening her eyes.
"Hmmm", Gabby hummed, her eyes getting heavy as Stella smiled warmly at her.
20 minutes into their blissful Lime and Ginger salt glow body treatment...
"Casey, you heard anything from him?" Stella prompted.
Immediately Gabby opened her eyes, blinking a few times, "Why I would? There is no reason for that...", she declared with a straight face.
"Seriously... you are not telling me that something is going on between you two?", Stella pressed her lips together.
Gabby squinted her eyes at Stella, sensing her friend knew something was up... "Kelly told you something?"
"So... you two are...", speaking suggestively as waited for Gabby filling her in with some good news.
"Tell me what you know, then I respond to your question...", Gabby retorted as Stella looked at her quizzically.
Suddenly, the massage therapist working on Gabby's back announced she would start the relaxing Thai foot massage.
Gabby nodded silently, as the therapist for Stella declared she will do the same on her.
Both girls turned around before they received large towels to cover only their chest, once they were wearing swimwear bottom.
Laying on their back comfortable... "He didn't tell me anything... I didn't mean to but I heard the end of their conversation last night when I came home from the gym-", Stella bit her lower lip.
"Please, continue", her pause was killing Gabby, who was anxious to know what Kelly and Matt talked about, "Stella, come on...",
"Okay, okay... Kelly said he wouldn't forgive Matt if he hurt you one more time, then Matt said he wouldn't forgive himself if he did that...,". Gabby listened to her intently.
"That's why was important for him, Matt, talk to Kelly about his feelings towards you, he was determined to fight for you, cause he loves you, he never stopped loving you".
"I-I love him, Stella... it's like we never got separated, you know..., our connection increased these past days...".
"I am happy for you, Gabby... both of you... and like Kelly said if he hurt you, I'll kick his ass", they grinned.
"I know you will, and I'll always love you for that...", Gabby turned her head, looking at the ceiling, she sighed, "I really hope things work out this time", glancing down at Stella, "... I'm done with getting together and break up, getting together and going apart again...", a sad look on her face.
"I believe this time will be different...", Stella extended her hand out to Gabby and she grabbed it, giving her a little smile.
They went quiet for a while as they had their feet treated...
"Mrs. Dawson and Mrs. Kidd, I'll take you two to the facial deep cleansing and conditioning honey hair mask... please put on the robes...".

The girls are relaxing in a quiet room for a while, sitting on comfortable loungers. They've decided to drink plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration as a preparation to get in the sauna.
"... I want receipts, man... this is so good", Gabby exhaled deeply before sipping more of her detox drink.
"I love this place... we are doing it next year," Stella drank her fruit beverage.
Gabby narrowed her eyes, "why not next month? Holidays are coming... maybe Santa will give us another day like this", Gabby winked at her.
"You forget your man will back less than 2 weeks? I am pretty sure he may want you all for himself, if you know what I mean", raising her eyebrows.
Gabby scoffed, "I can't just get away while he is sleeping...", Gabby shrugged and smirked.
"I'm so happy that we are not working on Christmas Eve and the next day... Kelly suggested to us take a trip to New York".
"Can you imagine, Christmas in New York? It'll be great, you should go...", Gabby sipped her drink.
"He is already looking for a hotel room, so... maybe you're lucky and bring a present for you...", Stella winked.
"Thank you, what reminds me I didn't buy any from my gifts list", tilting her head, "... I'll probably wait for Matt, doing this together might be funnier, and I can put on the to wrap task-", Stella cut her off.
"I hate it, actually I'm terrible at it...", Stella drank the remains of her detox drink.
"I like it, however, Matt enjoys it more, it's like a challenge for him getting better at it each year...".
"I'll send my gifts to him, tell him a pay...", Gabby grinned, "... Kelly is like me, though he loves to buy presents..." putting her glass on the table center.
"Are you ready?" Gabby stood up as putting her glass aside.
"Yeah, let's do it...".
They unwrapped their robes, keeping their bikini on... "20 minutes, right?" Gabby asked walking into the steam room.
"The instructor said not more than 20..", Stella sat at the corners, and Gabby took the opposite side.
"Can we have lunch after?" with her back straight and legs stretched straight out on the bench, Gabby shut her eyes.
"I'm hungry too... later we could chilling out by the pool or soaking in the Jacuzzi...", Stella mirrored Gabby's position on the bench.
"It's a great way to end our spa day... next time we should include the mud chamber...", Gabby added.
"Could you imagine Kelly doing it?" Stella laughed
"I'd love to see that...", they snickered. "He wouldn't be comfortable with other people around, but if only you two you might get some luck...".
"He would take me to sign a contract where I compromise not to tell anyone about it...".
"Make sure to take a picture to show your kids one day...", Gabby voiced smiling.
"You bet, I'll...".
Silence fell between... then Gabby spoke... "Matt called me yesterday to tell me Brett called him a few times during this week until he decided to pick up...".
"No way...", Stella twisted in confusion.
Looking into her eyes, Gabby nodded. "He didn't tell me their whole conversation, I suspect...,", Gabby combed her hair with her fingers, "... yet he revealed she asked for a meeting when he gets back, she thinks Matt owns her that...", and threw her hair up in a bun.
"You're already stressed out, I see...", roaming her face, Stella could see that.
"A little bit, yeah... however I know I can trust Matt, so whatever he decides I'll be good...".
"I'm not surprised by her request... I was here when they got together, I always felt that she was deeply in love with him while Matt was hard to read a few times, usually not showing his feelings in public ...".
"We've met by accident at Matt's apartment, and she tried to prove that I don't deserve him... Stella, she is not giving up-", Stella cut in.
"Matt wants you, that's what she is gonna hear from him every time she insists on her bullshit, forget her... they are done, period", Stella leaned forward to tap Gabby's foot.
"I'm not gonna ruin our day talking about Brett", breathing in, "I'm done with Brett's love life".
"That's my girl, let's relax and enjoy our last minutes here...", Stella beamed at Gabby.

Next weekend...
"... Hey baby...", Gabby exclaimed enthusiastically as sat on the bed, her back against the headboard as they started their face time call.
"Hey, beautiful", Matt tilted his head as squinted his eyes, "...your hair looks different,", he paused admiring her, "I mean, in a good way", he smiled softly.
"You noticed it?", Gabby touched a strand of her hair, " Did you like it?"
"Yeah, I loved it, it looks glossy and smooth...", beaming at her. "You look stunning... your makeup... You look great...".
Gabby blushed as listened to him, "Thank you, I want to do something for me and-", she trailed off which caught Matt's attention.
He bit his lips, gauging what she meant to say, "What is it, babe?"
"All this look,", she gestured over her face, "... comes with a present for you", she dropped her head as covering her face with her hands shyly.
Matt smiled as glanced around, he was alone in his tent since Josh, another volunteer had left yesterday, so he had the tent all for himself.
"I bet I'll love it... tell me, what you have for me?" he asked as laying on his back on the bed.
"Okay..." Gabby breathed deeply, a few seconds later, she lifted her head to looked at him on the screen. "I was at the mall, after doing my hair, I went to this store...", Gabby turned her head to her right and grabbed two bags, putting them on her lap.
"Wow, both are for me?"
"Actually, you get one now, the other is for when you get back...", she pressed her lips suppressing a smile.
"Okay, I like that... you choose or I choose which one I get now?" he ran a hand through his hair.
"You choose, it's only fair since they are yours...", each second getting nervous about what he would think of it.
"Alright, I choose the one in the red bag...", he rested a hand over his chest as holding his phone with his other hand.
"You wait for a bit, I'll be right back and put you on earphones-".
"I'm not going anywhere...", he smiled.
A short while later... "I'm back", however, Matt was not seeing her on the screen, yet her phone was moving around.
"Where are you?"
"I'm here, just let me adjust my phone, one second...", Gabby said as putting it on a tripod. She struggled at first but got it right a few minutes later. "Okay, I'm ready...".
Matt heard music playing in the background, then Gabby showed up wearing a robe, he sensed what was about to happen, getting him all excited.
"It's a good thing I'm here all alone...", he uttered quietly.
"I hope you like it...", slowly Gabby untied her robe.
"I already liked it, baby..." licking his lips as watching her opening her robe revealing her red lingerie.
Smiling at him, Gabby dropped the robe off from both sides to flash her bare shoulders. She swung her hips a few times, turning her back to him.
"So beautiful, so sexy, baby...", bit his lips harder.
The robe slipped from her body, "you think I chose rightly... your present?" Her strappy briefs had a peekaboo cutout in the back.
"Yeah", his voice rough, "... you look incredible", he absently squeezed his member a couple of times.
Gabby smiled wide has dancing slowly, her hands roaming over her body seductively.

Getting closer to where her phone was, she put the tripod at the end of the bed. Gabby laid on the middle of the bed, her head prompted on some pillows, Matt could watch her fully, her outfit leaving little to the imagination as his mind dreaming all the things he wanted to do to her.
"I feel so lucky... to have you all for myself...".
Gabby descended her hand until slipping into her underwear, touching herself there.

"You need me to come home earlier-", Gabby cut in.
"No, no, Matt, I'll be fine... finish your time there, that's our deal, right?"
"It's okay break it if you need me..., there is no problem if I leave earlier... Tell me, you seemed upset suddenly...".
"I'm okay, baby, only 10 days you'll be here, I can't wait...".
"You and me... I love you, I love you, Gabby, never doubt it... just say the word and I'll be back to you right now...".
"It's important you complete your mission there, I'll be fine, when you get here we talk...".
Matt decided to not insist, he would call Stella to know what's going on... "You want me to wait until you sleep? You'd feel good?"
"Yeah... it would make me feel better... Thank you...".
