"I do not see why I have to come along," Minato said
"Its part of our mission as apparently after hearing about Kushina. Mito wanted me to met with Logan and you are supposed to talk with Kushina" Jiraiya told him
This seems rather urgent matter as the two were sent out immediately after she requested this of them personally. This cause Jiraiya to wonder who reason the reason they were going to go to the Land of Whirlpools again with such haste.
"It could not have gotten away that fast as we need to take care of it before he can find it," a guard said
"That would not be good as it somehow managed to avoid the fire and then live through that ambush, and even managed to get away while in that condition. Should he find it that just make everything we have done for nothing" another guard replied.
Neither of them aware that they were both unheard by Jiraiya and Minato. Of course, Minato was not sure what they were searching for as the reference to the target as it. However, Jiraiya had a good idea of who it was and why Mito had seen them out on this sudden mission.
The Frog Sanin thought back on what Mito had told him right before he left
"Take this as I pray you do not need but if you do use it immediately and whatever you do not go to Uzushiogakure at that point" Mito informed him.
Minato was about to move forward he was pulled back by his master.
"We are following this now," he told him
He activated what he was given and the two followed it until they managed to find Kushina dragging herself along with her clothes burnt and charka chains wrapped around various parts of her body as if they were being used as makeshift bandages.
She did not seem to notice them following her as she just kept walking forward towards somewhere she had in mind.
Though she collapsed shortly after they found her as everything seem to just catch up with her all of sudden. Again Minato was going to go out before Jiraiya stopped him from doing so.
"We can not go out first as that might cause a misunderstanding if we make a mistake. Is not that right, Logan" he said.
"That it would be as I did not think she would remember the meeting place I told her to head to if anything happened back at her village," he said landing nearby them "What are you two doing here than"
Jiraiya than explain everything to him and Logan just let out a sigh as what he feared was correct as well. Uzushiogakure turned on Kushina because of the new ability she gain when it came to her charka chains able to use single links rather than merely the entire chain itself. He was also interested in the thing that Mito had given Jiraiya to find her as that piqued his interest as well. However, getting Kushina out of the Land of Whirlpool entirely was the current goal though.
