It was a late night in the mcormick house, the usual fighting currently held place, the three k children in their rooms, Kevin, Kenny and the youngest Karen.

Karen had hid under the blankets after the fighting began...

"YOU *****!" Her father cried.

"**** YOU!" Her mother claimed.

Karen felt tears run down her baby blue eyes. Where was her Big Brother or her Guardian Angel...?

They were the only two people she ever felt safe around...

Then...

"Karen..."

Her ears perked up at the sound of a soft gravel tone.

"Karen..."

Where was...

"Karen!"

She turned to the window sill and found her cloaked protector crouched down in his usual position.

"Angel!" She cried as she went up to him.

"That's one of the first times i've said your name multiple times." He reprimanded. "Something up?"

She pointed to the door as another shout ensued.

"Again..." He sighed, but then he had an idea. "Karen come here." He held out his arms.

Karen allowed her angel to carry her out into the moonlit town of South Park.

"Angel what are you-" She asked.

"Don't worry Karen, i know what i'm doing." He said.

He climbed to a nearby rooftop with Karen holding onto his back.

He put her down on the rooftop and stood next to her.

"Angel?"

"I thought i'd take you out of that house at least until they stop fighting." He said as he ruffled the young girls brown hair.

It got her to laugh. But she yawned as well.

"Come here kiddo." He sat down and let her sit on his lap as he cuddled her.

She heard him begin to sing.

"It always seems more quiet in the dark

It always feels so stark

How silence grows under the moon

Constellations gone so soon

I used to think that I was bold

I used to think love would be fun

Now all the stories have been told

Except for one..."

He looked down and gently tapped her nose. She laughed once more.

"As the stars start to align

I hope you take it as a sign

That you will be okay

Everything will be okay

And if the seven hells collapse

Although the day could be my last

You will be okay

When I'm gone you'll be okay

And when creation goes to die you can find me in the sky

Upon the last day

And you will be okay..."

Karen had fallen asleep on her Angels lap as he wrapped his cloak around her for warmth.

He sighed. "I wish i could protect you better...But there's only so much i can do..."

Mysterion took a breath and enjoyed the night sky...
