Another chapter for your reading pleasure :) So sorry these are so short, I have them broken up in my document like this xx

Eleanor fell onto her bed exhausted by the day's end. She had to miss lunch to work through important study and was starving but didn't have the energy to get up. Looking at the pile of books on her desk, she groaned. She had so much homework that needed to be completed tonight and she couldn't do it on an empty stomach. Dragging herself out of bed, she made her way to the dining hall to get some food. She didn't even bother to look at who was in the dining hall, and she honestly didn't care. She grabbed a takeaway container, dumped several foods into it and thanked the lady at the register. She went to walk out when she bumped into Audrey again. She couldn't help but think of their earlier interaction. Eleanor honestly didn't want to cause any trouble and she didn't have the energy to speak her mind anyway. She apologised to the princess before attempting to exit but was blocked by Audrey's friends.

"No one to sit with? Pity. That's what you get when you hang out with villain kids" Audrey chuckled and went to knock Eleanor's food out of her hand however she deflected.

"No need to be mean Audrey. I actually have to catch up on work so if you'll excuse me"

Audrey stopped her again and smirked. "Oh, you think you can get away that easily huh?" Her high-pitched voice challenged Eleanor. Normally she could control her anger, but today Audrey had really tested her. Eleanor's blue eyes flashed angrily.

"Seriously Audrey, I really need to go. You can't hold me against my will"

She chuckled darkly and glared at Eleanor, her chocolate coloured eyes narrowing.

"Oh yes I can". Audrey's popular friends had her surrounded and she was starting to feel overwhelmed, but she was determined not to show it. She couldn't let Audrey win. Not this time. Eleanor glared at Audrey but turned when she heard a familiar voice.

"Audrey. What's going on here?"

Eleanor turned and saw Mal approaching with Jay, Evie and Carlos in tow and gave them a grateful smile. Unbeknown to Eleanor, after the conversation at lunch, everyone had become quite protective over Eleanor. Audrey went to say something when Chad walked up to them.

"Hi Chady" Audrey exclaimed sweetly. He gave her a kiss and grinned widely, totally infatuated.

"Hey Princess, you are heading in to get some dinner?" Audrey nodded with a sweet enticing smile on her face that had completely drawn Chad in. It seemed that she had him wrapped around her little finger and honestly Eleanor wasn't surprised. Chady? Princess? Their pet names made her want to throw up. Since when were they dating? It kind of hurt that Chad hadn't even bothered to say hello or even come see her since she'd been back. Actually thinking about it, he hadn't written her one single letter while she'd been away. She assumed he'd been busy but it was becoming very clear why he hadn't responded to any of her letters.

Chad finally turned away from his girlfriend and saw Eleanor. The smile instantly fell from his face and his confidence faulted. His jaw dropped a little and Eleanor smirked, enjoying the fact that she'd caught him off guard. "El? W-when did you get back?"

Eleanor rolled her eyes "I told you when I was coming back, Chad. You chose to ignore me". Audrey scoffed loudly, rolling her eyes and Eleanor narrowed her eyes at her.

Chad chuckled nervously, finally noticing the tension between the two girls. He cuddled Audrey from behind. "Is my sister giving you a hard time princess?"

Eleanor could feel Mal and Evie's shocked expression behind her. Audrey hugged him close and nodded. "Mmhm" Audrey replied, smirking back at her.

Eleanor rolled her eyes and huffed. "Um try the other way around. If you'll excuse me, I have things to do" Eleanor didn't wait for a response as she pushed past them and stormed back to her room.
