Chapter 8: What Am I Suppose To Do?
Naruto couldn't concentrate at all it's only been fifteen hours since he and Sasuke spent the night together, [for the third time] he's been smacking himself beating himself up because of it, he's been saying that he doesn't love him but still he ended up sleeping with him.
'What's with your brain Naruto, its getting abnormal!'
"Naruto-kun.." a voice snapped him back to reality he look up only to see one of his workmate, Saeki looking down at him with a brown folder on his grasp. "Do you need something Saeki-kun?" He asked as he close the laptop in front of him.
"Did you hear about Sasuke-san is getting married?"Naruto felt a pang on his chest all of the sudden, its inevitable that everybody in work will start asking about it. "I don't know..." He said as he flip the computer open again trying to just evade the question, "Oh come on Naruto-kun you're close to Sasuke-san right? You guys is on first name basis." Naruto started to panic as Saeki said that, what does he mean by we're close? What in the world made him think that they were close? darn it!
"I-I told you guys countless of times Sasuke-san and I are just boss and subordinate that's all..." he said firmly, he doesn't want anyone to think of any ridiculous ideas about them.
"But you guys are still friends right?.."
'We're not friends!' Naruto wanted to say that but ended up just biting back his words when the certain raven went out of his office with his business associate in tow and Sakura. The sight of Sasuke made him remember what happen earlier this morning.
Flash back
Naruto was feeling really comfortable, shifting a little bit he felt something warm wrap around his waist and pull him close into something solid. When the something shifted he felt something pressed against him his eyes shot open in realization as he sit up he immediately felt a pounding headache, Damn it! What the hell happen? "My head is like being pounded repeatedly," he thought to himself while cradling his aching forehead, it's his own damn fault anyway for drinking too much alcohol last night. "Last night?" He look around, safe he's in his room but... he's naked and his body is aching all over. When he turn to his side he could immediately imagine world crashing down dramatically on top of him burying him in as it crumble when he saw Sasuke sleeping peacefully beside him, and also naked it doesn't take an idiot to guess what they did. He wobble as he tried to stand straight. He blushed in embarassment as a familiar sticky mess slid down his inner thigh.
"Damn it this is so fucking bad!"
"Morning..." What the hell?! Why is he acting like nothing happen.
"A-Anyway sir you still have a business to run so please prepare for work.." he said in business like manner.
"After what we share last night now your being formal..." Sasuke said making Naruto's cheek redder than a tomato.
"Can you just get out of my room sir please..." Naruto stuttered his back facing the raven as he pull his suit out of the closet. 'Why can't you just read the atmosphere!' the blonde is now beginning to be flustered and frustrated.
"Hey, Naruto..."
"I said it's fine!" Naruto shouted as he had enough, can't he just get that he wants him out of his room, his hand trembling, what did he just do with Sasuke it's wrong, wrong in every sense. "So please get ready for work.." he said looking down.
"I will not...I don't need to follow what you said"
"Y-You can't really read the air do you? To put it bluntly I want you to leave!" Naruto shouted his body trembling in anger and frustration. He flinch when he felt being embrace from behind, "W-What are you-." he said as he shove the raven away instinctively with his trembling hand.
"I've been meaning to ask you something...do you have a habit of sleeping with men you hate multiple times?" Sasuke asked as he stare at him with an intense look on his face. Naruto's face turned even more redder than before that tomato's in general cannot compete at the redness of the blonde's face. What the hell?! How can he suppose to answer that?
End flash back
"What's happening here?" Sasuke asked eyeing the two men in front of him, he was becoming irritated he'd been noticing Saeki being awfully close with his Naruto and he doesn't like it one bit.
"Easy, Sasuke-kun your producing such a dark aura..." Sakura teased Sasuke with a grin.
"Naruto.." the blond jumped on his seat at the mention of his name, his heart began to race. Damn it, he really has a big effect on him. Naruto stood up picking up the log book where he wrote down all the appointments of his 'boss'. "The next appointment is-." before he could finish what he was saying he saw a flash of red hair run passed him.
"Sasuke-kun!" the red haired girl said as she hug the surprise raven, Naruto looks away the sight felt a stinging pain on his chest, 'this girl must be his fiancee.' suddenly he doesn't know when it started but he started trembling.
"Keep your distance Karin." Sasuke said with an obvious annoyance on his voice.
"Mou- don't be such a grump! I'm your fiancee so be nice to me..." Karin said with a smile on her face.
"Come here..." Sasuke said yanking Karin's wrist roughly.
"Oww, that hurt!" They heard Karin protested as they went inside the raven's office.
Sakura turned to Naruto who was currently looking down with his bangs clearly covering his eyes.
"Naruto..."
"A-Alright let's start working now oh, just a second I have to go to the toilet what the hell why I'm saying that to you guys? I'm an idiot I'll be back" he said as he left his stall.
Naruto sighed a long audible breath, why is he being like this? He shouldn't be affected by Sasuke since he already told himself he's going to hold himself back, he promised five years ago that he won't be involve with him again. But his current circumstances is not helping him at all.
"Hey! Are you Naruto?!.." the blond turned around only to see Sasuke's fiancee behind him, he winced at the way she looks at him. Its the look Sasuke's father gave him five years ago. The look of disdain and disgust.
"U-Umm y-yes..." he nodded.
"I'm only going to say this once, stay away from my fiance!." Karin said sharply making him flinch at the intensity of her voice.
"W-What? What are you trying to say I-I'm just an emplo-" he tried to explain but Karin beat him to it. "Don't pretend I know who you are! The guy who played with Sasuke-kun's feelings and then just threw him away. ."
"W-What?" How did she know about their past?
"Listen, Sasuke-kun is mine we're getting married! So stay away from my fiance you hear me? ." Karin said firmly while glaring at him.
"L-Listen... I-I'm only working here and-" Naruto tried to explain but Karin cut him off.
"Then don't have any relationship with him outside work! Beware Naruto I have eyes here and if I hear you're flirting with my fiance no matter how disgusting it sounds, I'll be here, remember if you keep close to him I'll be your worst enemy!" With that Karin walk past him purposely bumping Naruto with her shoulder leaving the even more frustrated and confuse blond behind.
"W-What am I suppose to do now?"
Author's Note: I might have wrote down some mistakes I'll try my best to correct them later so as my many mistakes throughout all the chapters. As you can guess yes this fic is adapted from my Kuroko no Basuke fic so their names are all mash up when I was trying pathetically to edit them. Lol but anyway I hope you guys like this.
