Chapter Three

After showering and changing, Kuon thought about how he had always loved touching women's bodies. They were so soft and pleasing to the touch and always made his heart race. He loved the feeling of tilting Kyoko back onto the bed, caressing her, kissing and nuzzling her neck, carefully removing her clothes until they were both naked. She closed her eyes as she thought of that and sat down at the kitchen table where Kyoko put down the breakfast as usual.

Kyoko continued to stare at Kuon, her now wife. She had never thought of herself as one of those women who would be with someone of her same gender but that didn't matter. This was Kuon. She loved the person who had supported her, invested love and time and affection in her. What did gender matter anyway?

"Here," Kyoko said as she reached out to hold on to Yuuko's…Kuon's…whoever she was now…her hand. "I love you." She grinned as she blushed and saw the way Kuon looked at her with those absolutely gorgeous emerald eyes. Her breath caught in her chest as they flashed to a burnt sienna for a moment. "You have to eat. Man or woman, you have to eat."

"What if I get fat?" Kuon half joked and Kyoko raised an eyebrow.

"Then we'll definitely have to take Julie-san up on her quest to get you some new clothes. Do you think the way you look matters that much to me?" Kyoko held Kuon's hand with both of hers now and brought the softer hand to her lips. She smiled as she let her thumb go over the very smooth skin. This was what she had imagined a princess to look like but she hadn't thought that the princess would be her husband…former husband. "I think you look most like Aurora," she smiled to him and Kuon laughed weakly.

"Thanks," she said feeling weird hearing how she sounded now.

"What does gender matter anyway?" Kyoko repeated. She kissed Kuon's hand again. "I mean, ignore the physical for a moment. Do you feel any different? Are your thoughts different? Do you feel any differently about me? Are you out of lo-"

"Never," Kuon said quickly looking shocked and Kyoko blushed, she still looked so cute when she defended how much they loved one another. "I can't do this. I'm supposed to be a top actress in Japan…isn't that your job?" Kuon asked her showing some desperation in her expression.

"I'll concede to you," Kyoko told her before getting up and dropping her hand only so she could stand behind her now wife and hold her in her arms. Kuon - Yuuko, whoever she was now needed her love and support and if that meant an unlimited number of hugs then she would gladly give them to her. Hopefully there was a way to bring Kuon back to his normal self but if that wasn't the case then that love didn't change. They'd have to fight the judgment and narrow mindedness but it was worth it if she could be with the person she loved. She hadn't ever felt so much importance in that phrase, the person she loved. This was still Corn.

There was a knock on the door and a buzz at the doorbell and Kyoko froze. She saw Ren's panicked look and kissed those warm, soft lips of hers. She laughed softly.

"Focus on eating right now," she said as she squeezed Kuon's soft shoulders. "I'll take care of our visitor. I believe in you, baby," she said with a wink. "You were the one who taught me how to walk like a model after all."

Kyoko looked in the mirror as she went to answer the door. She turned back in the direction where she had just been with Kuon and then shifted uncomfortably. She had been told that she was gorgeous and Kuon had showed her with the most compliments but now that she could see herself and think about how amazing he - she looked, she was starting to feel self-conscious again. If the two of them stood next to each other then she would pale in comparison to Yuuko. Did that mean if Kuon remained a woman, she would get bored of her and want to be with someone better suited for her. Being a lesbian wasn't a role that Kyoko had ever had before but that didn't change how much she loved him.

She took another deep breath before reaching for the door. Opening it she smiled weakly as she saw a very shocked and pale Yashiro Yukihito. She smiled to their family friend. "It's a bit of a change, isn't it?" she laughed and saw the way that Yashiro still appeared completely freaked out by what had changed around them. He remembered his very close friend to be male and now all the work that he had done, all the things that people had written about him were being accredited to this Yuuko.

"Are you kidding?" Yashiro said sounding out of breath, "It's as If the world has gone mad. I wanted to check it out for myself. Is it poss -"

"To see Kuon?" Kyoko asked and Yashiro nodded with a weak smile. Kyoko turned to the side and gestured for him to come in, once he had entered she closed the door and led him to where Kuon was eating. Yashiro stood frozen in his spot as he saw Kuon and Kuon looked up at him. She pushed the plate away from her and stood.

"Quite a change, right?" she asked as she put a hand to her upper arm showing how uncomfortable she was about this.

"You could say that….you didn't have any surgery, right? I mean, I thought I knew you well enough that I wouldn't expect for you to choose this. You could have told me if you…if you wanted this. It's hard to adjust to but…but you know that I've never judged you or not supported you," Yashiro said still quite pale and Kuon sighed.

"I didn't choose this. I woke up like this." Kuon told him as she felt her hair drip onto her shirt and looked down, she sighed and looked up feeling tired as she saw the way the drips rolled down her now enviable size breasts. She didn't want this to happen and she could see the panic in Yashiro's eyes as he looked at them and tried to maintain eye contact so as not to appear perverted.

"Of course you have to be incredibly good looking," Yashiro said before his face turned into one of shock at having said that. "I'm not attracted to you. Yes, yes you're very attractive but no…I'm not attracted. Maybe if I didn't know who you were…"

"Great," Kuon laughed weakly. "So you think I should go to work like this."

"Well, when I was heading over here it seemed that only a few people were left unaffected by this…change," Yashiro gestured with his hand to Kuon's new body. "I would go out, do the jobs that you've been assigned to, see how that goes. I'll do all that I can to figure out why this happened to you. Are you going to be okay like this? The two of you, will you -"

"It doesn't matter what Kuon looks like or what gender he or she is, that doesn't change the fact that we're married," Kyoko moved forward so that she could take Kuon's hand with the wedding ring on there and she showed Yashiro the complimentary bands. "This means that we're married. I am married to a person who is right now a great woman, I dare anyone to say anything they want, it doesn't change the fact that I love…Kuon."

"Thanks," Kuon smiled to her again.

"Well then, it seems you should be going to your first job soon," Yashiro laughed nervously and Kyoko nodded telling Kuon that she agreed with this. "I do have a message for you. The president wants to see you at your earliest convenience. Alone, I think."

"I should get going then, right, princess?" Kuon asked before kissing Kyoko again and she deepened the kiss. Kuon's lips, somehow they still felt the same, the kisses still felt the same, the love hadn't changed even a fraction.

"If I learn that you haven't been eating today, I will stuff food in your mouth like your mother did," she said before seeing Kuon nod. "Be good, Yuuko," she winked and Kuon nodded but didn't laugh. She did attempt to smile though in a way that let Kyoko know that at least for right now, her wife would be okay.

As Kuon approached LME, she looked around hearing people gossiping and heard the name Yuuko Hizuri multiple times. It was as if the world really had forgotten all about Kuon Hizuri. It had taken her a while to get used to it and it was still making her feel uneasy but the world didn't think that it was weird that she was a woman. She even felt comfortable on these high heels and there was a secret part of her that liked this attention. No, this must be his mind playing tricks on him.

"Here, Yuuko-sama," Sawara said as he saw her approaching the building and held the door open for her. It wasn't unusual for people to hold a door open for him but that was because of his professional status, now Kuon wasn't sure that this was the same. She smiled gratefully and Sawara smiled to her.

"You don't usually enter through the front," he commented. "Liking the attention today?" he winked.

Kuon took a step back in shock and Sawara paused confused. "I'm not entering this way to get attention. I prefer to let my work stand for itself, not because I want to be a pretty face. I might model but I want to get by on my talent, nothing else," she said in a very defensive manner.

Sawara-san raised an eyebrow, "This is just one of our usual jokes," he said and Kuon blinked. "Everyone knows how professional you are. Everyone knows how much you value your inner self and your talent much more than the way you look. Did something happen that needs to be spoken about?"

"No," Kuon laughed uneasily as she pushed some of the blond hair away from her face that the wind had pushed there. She took a hair tie that she had grabbed from Kyoko's accessories that morning and tied her hair back. "No, no I'm fine," she said as Sawara eyed her cautiously. "I have to go do something."

"All right, well if you do need someone to talk to," Sawara said and Kuon nodded before making her way over to the front desk and the receptionists. He paused, not understanding what Yuuko was doing and why she was acting so strange all of a sudden. Did she have a fever or something?

"Hi," Kuon said as he saw the star struck expressions on the young girls faces. "My name is Hizuri Yuuko, I'm here to see the president. Would that be possible?" she asked with one of those smiles that would make anyone of either gender fall in love with her instantly. That hadn't changed along with the gender transformation.

"Uh..yeah…" the first girl said, "Yeah…of course. Why - why are you here?"

"I still work at this agency don't I?" Kuon asked with a small amount of doubt in his mind. He hadn't been able to get a hold of most of the information on Yuuko.

"Yeah, yeah," the second girl nodded. "But why are you talking to us, Hizuri-sama? You usually just…you don't usually check in."

"Yuuko," Kuon heard a familiar voice coughed and looked over to see Lory there, she smiled weakly but Lory didn't even appear phased. He just gestured with his hand for Kuon to follow him. Kuon took a deep breath in to steady herself and nodded, making her why over to the man who had always treated him as family.
