"Thank you. I love to help people. Its what I do. And I would do anything for my children." Lena smiled at Stef and reached over and clasped Stefs hand. Lena was very proud of her wife and to know that someone who was high ranking saw that, it was amazing.

"We can see that. We will let you get back to your other kids now. Speak to you soon. Stef. Lena." Agent Callahan said as both agents smiled at the two women.

"Bye." Lena said shaking the Agents hands as herself and Stef headed out of the office towards the back of the building where the rest of their kids were. Both Agents watching the two women go to their kids before turning around to sort out the whiteboard, getting it ready to present it to the rest of the station and their other FBI colleagues.

By the time the family left the station, it had become late and each and every one of them was left mentally and emotionally drained.

Hours of giving statements and talking to the sketch artist had been tiring and all the kids wanted to do was relax their brains and sleep. Yet none of them could because their minds were stuck on Callie and Rylan.

The concern for their sisters outweighed everything. A silly headache or tiredness was nothing compared to what their sisters could be going through. It was at this moment that Jude, Brandon, Mariana and Jesus vowed to try not to complain about the simple things as things that they took for granted could be taken away in an instant.

As soon as Stefs car pulled into the driveway, the patrolling police car who are colleagues of Stefs, nodded at Stef in greeting before they drove off to continue their patrols and the kids got out of the car and followed their parents into the house.

So Friday afternoon when Stef and Lena headed into the house, they were greeted by Stefs Mom. The kids immediately were enveloping their grandmother into a big group hug. Stef gave a big smile at seeing her Mom, her eyes becoming watery. Her emotions coming to the surface.

Seeing that Stef and her Mom needed a moment, Lena decided to get the kids working on the flyers they had started that Morning.

"How about we leave Mom to talk to Grandma and we go continue the flyers we started this morning?" Lenas suggested. The kids all nodded, Hugged their grandma again before making their way into the kitchen.

Sharon and Stef watched the kids and Lena go into the kitchen before Stef was walking into her Mothers arms. Tears finally falling as she embraced her mother, it was a well needed hug. Her Mom moment.

Sharon guided her sobbing daughter into the living room, the two sat on the sofa while Stef and Sharon continued to hug.

Stef leant back from her Moms embrace and Sharon used her thumbs to wipe away her daughters tears.

"I miss them Mom." Stef sighed out. It was hard not having her Mini me hanging off of her or her Callie girl just being present in the room with them. She missed her two shadows a lot.

"I know sweetheart. I know." Sharon whispered sadly as she reached over and clasped one of Stefs hands in both of her own.

"I should have protected them. I should have done more." Stef said feeling defeated, looking down at her hand encased in her mothers. It weighed heavy on her knowing that she was a cop and she couldn't even protect her own family. Sharon gave her daughter a sad smile, releasing a hand from Stefs clasped on, Sharon brought that hand up and used it to lift her daughters chin up so that their eyes met.

"There was nothing you could have done. These people obviously had plans, many plans to get the girls. One way or another they were going to get who they wanted." Sharon tried reassure her daughter that this wasn't her fault. The people were determined and they would have stopped at nothing.

"They wanted Rylan." Stef stated, her eyes welling up with more tears. Just thinking of her baby girls.

"How do you know that?" Sharon asked softly, her face showing all the confusion she felt.

"This Is bigger then any kidnapping. This may have everything to do with a big crime boss family." Stef explained. Sharons eyebrows raised in shock before she shook her head to get rid of that shock and to make sure she heard Stef right.

"Wait, What?" Sharon asked

"Patrick Dunn." As soon as that name was heard, Sharons eyebrows again rose in surprise and shock.

"The big weapons and drug dealer?" Sharon asked, just to make sure that the Patrick Dunn Stef is mentioning is the one she was thinking about.

"Yeah, him. The FBI are on the case. Rylan and her mother were in witness protection, that is why there was no information on her. We need to keep the FBI being here a secret so you can't tell anyone." Stef explained. Sharon stared at her daughter with wide eyes, she had heard of things like this happening, but to have it happen to her own family was crazy and intense.

"I won't say anything." Sharon said with a serious nod. Stef went on to explain everything while Sharon sat their listening carefully to her daughter. To say Sharon was shocked and blown away was an understatement.

Sharon hadn't seen her daughter cry and sob very much but after hearing everything, she could understand why. Sharon just hoped her granddaughters were ok and are not hurt. If they were, this would be a major blow to the family and Sharon was worried that Stef, Lena and the kids would never recover from the loss.

After their talk, Sharon and Stef headed into the kitchen where Lena and the kids were. Lena seeing her wife, stood up from the stool she was on and walked over to Stef and pulled the blonde into her arms. Stef melted in the embrace that Lena was currently giving her. Everything felt better being embraced by the ones she loved.

Sharon smiled at her daughter and daughter in law before she took Lenas seat.

Seeing that the kids were occupied, Stef caught her Mothers eyes and pointed upwards to let her Mom know that she was going upstairs to talk to Lena. Sharon waved her daughter away as she focused on what Mariana was doing. Stef and Lena were so lucky to have amazing kids. Mariana being very handy with a computer worked wonders but also got the teen into so much trouble.

Stef grabbed Lenas hand and then the two headed up the stairs to their room where they could talk in private.

"I really needed my Mom moment." Stef sighed out as she lay down on her side of the bed as Lena closed and locked the door and then lay on her side of the bed next to her wife, leaning on her right arm with her head in her right hand.

"I'm glad sweetheart. I can't wait for my parents to get in." Lena said looking down at Stefs face. Lena leant down and placed a sweet kiss on Stefs lips before laying her head on Stefs shoulder. The two just cuddling.

"When are they getting in?" Stef asked as she used her left hand to run up and down Lenas back.

"Dad messaged me knowing that we were busy. He said that they booked the earliest flight they could, which is for Saturday morning and so they should arrive about Saturday lunch time." Lena explained. Stef nodded and hummed out a response.

Lena and Stef just lay cuddling on the bed. Just basking in the closeness of each other, their minds always drifting off onto their missing daughters. There wasn't much they could do that wasn't already being done. It was currently a waiting game and they just had to wait till the police needed them for anything or the police got a lead.

"Do we tell the kids about the FBI being involved?" Lena asked after a few minutes of silence, still cuddling with Stef. Her left hand drawing random patterns on Stefs shirt clad chest.

"The agents said we could. I've already told my mother." Stef responded, knowing it was probably for the best to tell the kids.

"We should tell them, keep them in the loop. We must tell them that its very important to keep it a secret, for the sake of the girls." Lena explained and then sighed.

"Tonight after dinner we can sit down and talk to them?" Stef asked, her hand still running up and down Lenas back.

"Yeah, that will be better." Lena said with a nod. The two then went quiet before Stef started chuckling.

"Her name is Ryan?" Stef asked amused. The little girl somehow managed to pronounce her name with an L in it. Lena chuckled as well.

"Rylan or Ryan, doesn't matter does it?" Lena asked with a smile.

"Nah. She can be called whatever she wants, shes still our baby girl." Stef stated with a smile.

"Mmmmhmmm." Lena hummed out before chuckling. Just thinking of the girls made their minds wander. They wouldn't be good mothers if their minds never went out to think about what any of their kids were doing.

"Stef?" Lena asked quietly, her mind wandering and her mood saddening.

"Yeah." Stef whispered out feeling the change in Lenas emotions.

"Do you think the girls are ok? Not hurt I mean?" Lena asked fearfully, hoping that her daughters were safe but she couldn't help but fear for them.

"Honestly I don't know Love. I hope to god that they are not hurt and are being treated ok." Stef said before placing a kiss to Lenas head.

"I miss them. Ill never complain about Rylan jumping on the bed as an early morning wake up or Callie trying to steal my coffee again. I just want them back in my arms." Lena explained as she started to sob. The waterworks were hard to keep under control when the ones you love are missing.

"Me too, my love, me too." Stef said wrapping Lena up tightly as her wife sobbed. Her own tears falling down the sides of her face and onto the bed.

That night, Sharon cooked dinner for the family. Sharon knew her daughter and daughter in law were tired, not physically but emotionally and she wanted to help wherever and whenever she could.

As the kids came down the stairs one by one and took seats around the table, it all made them even more emotional at seeing the two empty seats where Callie and Rylan usually sat. Sharon took Callies spot, even though it made her eyes well up at doing so. The presence of Callie and Rylan was definitely missed.

The meal was quiet, the family picking at their food, all too emotional and drained to be even remotely hungry.

"What are the plans for tomorrow?" Sharon asked, trying to engage her family into talking and doing something other then sitting in silence.

"We will be putting flyers up and handing some to shop owners to hand out as well. Ill be picking my parents up around lunch time tomorrow." Lena explained as Sharon nodded.

"May I be excused?" Jude asked his Mothers, he had eaten a little of the food on his plate.

"Sure." Stef said immediately, knowing this was taking its toll on their kids and so they wouldn't push them. They all had eaten a little so that was something.

One by one the kids left the table after putting their dishes by the sink. They would be down later to do the dishes together as it was suppose to be Callie and Jesus's turn.

Stef, Lena and Sharon watched the four kids leave the kitchen, their footsteps could be heard on the stairs as they headed up to their rooms.

"We don't know how to help them. Our family is so broken. These people have ruined our family and the only way we can get back to how we were is for Callie and Rylan to return." Lena sighed out as she continued to look towards the direction the kids had gone. Sharon looked over and her two daughters with a sad smile.

"All you two need to do is be there for them. Show them that they are still loved and show them that you aren't giving up on Callie and Rylan. Give them hope that their sisters will return." Sharon said as she looked at the two giving them reassuring smiles.

"I need to go email my captain. Excuse me." Stef said as she picked her plate up and placed it by the sink before grabbing her laptop from the study nook and heading into the living room. She needed to send pictures of Rylan and Callie to her captain to use for the press release. This was an important thing that couldn't be put off or forgotten.

Lena watched her wife go before picking up her own plate and going over to the sink to get ready to do the dishes. She needed something to distract herself and she thought she would help the kids out by doing it.

"Ill do that honey." Sharon said as she moved towards Lena. Lena turned and gave her mother in law a smile.

"Its ok, you cooked. The least I can do is clean the dishes. Its suppose to be Callie and Jesus's turn but I thought id do it." Lena said turning to the sink and turning the water on. Sharon reached her hand over and clasped Lenas that was on the tap to shut it off. Lena looked at Sharon as Sharon pulled their hands away, but instead of releasing Lenas hand, Sharon clutched at it more to offer the woman comfort.

"Honestly Lena, go be with Stef. You two need to draw comfort and reassurance from each other. Be each others rocks. I can handle the non important stuff around here like these dishes." Sharon said with a small smile, her head gesturing to the pile of dishes by the sink.

"Are you sure?" Lena asked looking from her Mother in law to the large pile of dishes and then back at her mother in law. She didn't want to feel like her mother in law was doing everything and she was doing nothing.

"Go." Sharon said with a smile.

"Thanks Mom." Lena said looking into Sharons eyes. Sharon saw the tears pooling in the brown eyes and pulled the young woman into an embrace. Lena clutched at Sharon, it was almost as good as a hug from her own Mother.

Lena moved away from the hug, gave Sharon a grateful smile before heading to the living room to find her wife. She was grateful to have such an amazing mother in law.

After dinner was over and Stef had sent off the photos of Callie and Rylan in an email to her captain. Stef and Lena called the kids down into the living room to discuss what the FBI had to say. Sharon stayed in the kitchen, leaving the two women to talk to their kids alone.

Stef and Lena sat on the coffee table in front of the kids who were sitting on the large sofa, Brandon on the arm rest of the sofa.

To say the kids were shocked and confused was an understatement. Stef and Lena has explained all that they knew and now the kids could ask questions, well once they came out of their shock.

"Wait, so the big crime mob could be the ones that took Rylan and Callie? What about James and Amanda?" Brandon asked confused.

"James and Amanda have the girls according to the note. They may be working alone or they may have joined the big mob boss. The FBI are here to help figure things out, with Rylan being found after a long time and Toby 'the fake uncle' who is also a member of the crime mob, popping back up, it could mean its all connected." Stef explained. There was so much information to process and remember, she hoped they could find out what was going on.

"How did they not know who Rylan was sooner?" Jude asked his Mothers from his spot on the sofa between Mariana and Jesus.

"Thats because her birth name is Ryan not Rylan. She couldn't pronounce her name properly and somehow it sounded like Rylan. So when social services and the police searched for Rylan on their database the FBI weren't flagged, it wasn't until Bill ran a check on one of the crime mob members aliases, that the FBI were alerted to it and so here they are." Stef explained the best she can. The kids nodding slowly, showing that they understood.

"So my theory of the fake uncle being involved could be correct?" Mariana asked sounding a little surprised that her theory could be correct.

"It may be. We know that James and Amanda took them, they could be working for the crime mob but we have no clue yet. The FBI and my Captain and Colleagues are working on a possible connection." Stef said reassuring the kids that everything possible was being done to find the girls.

"We know this is a lot to take in, we just wanted you all to be kept in the loop." Lena added in, also to reassure the kids.

"We know, thanks Moms. " Jesus said as he nodded. Both Moms could tell that all four of the kids were processing things.

"One more thing. If you could not tell anyone that the FBI are here in town, we don't want the crime mob knowing and scattering without a trace leaving nothing, not even the girls." Stef warned the kids.

"Ok, we won't." Mariana said with a nod. All the boys saying something similar to Marianas.

"Alright, its off to bed with you all." Stef said slapping her hands onto her thighs as she stood from her seated position on the coffee table.

"Night Moms." Jude said as he hugged each of his mothers and headed up to bed. None of the kids complained that it was early. They were all tired, emotionally that is. Soon all three boys were upstairs leaving Mariana downstairs with her Moms and Grandmother.

Stef wrapped and arm around the girls shoulders and guided her into the kitchen with Lena following.

Sharon looked up from where she was cleaning down the table with a cloth to see her daughters and granddaughter now in the kitchen.

"Everything go ok?" Sharon asked them. Lena moved over to the study nook to clean up some of the mess they had done from the flyers while Stef stayed near the doorway, her arm wrapped around the only teen in the room.

"Yeah as well as it could have gone, its a lot to take in." Lena answered as she cleaned the nook, Sharon nodded with a smile.

"I bet. Where are the boys?" Sharon asked moving over to the sink to clean her cloth to start wiping down the bench tops, her body still facing her daughter.

"The boys are getting ready for bed." Stef answered her mothers question and Sharon nodded in understanding.

"You can take my bed grandma." Mariana said as she moved away from her mothers embrace to head to the fridge. Mariana pulled a water bottle out for herself and turned around to face her grandmother. Sharon paused in her hand movements of wiping the table to look at the teenager in the room.

"I don't want to sleep in the room because it makes me upset sleeping in a room without Callie and Rylan." Mariana explained as she saw her grandmothers pause in her movements.

"No problems sweetheart, I understand. Your bed will do just fine." Sharon said as she put the cloth down on the table and moved around the table over to her granddaughter.

Sharon pulled the teen into an embrace, Mariana melted into her grandmothers embrace.

"Head up and grab your pyjamas from your room and we will be up shortly sweets." Stef told the teen once they had pulled away from their embrace.

Mariana nodded, screwed the lid tightly on her water bottle and left the kitchen, disappearing upstairs to collect her pyjamas and other essentials from her shared room before heading over to her Moms room.

Before Stef or Lena could say anything, Sharon spoke up. Sharon knew exactly what her daughter and daughter in law were thinking.

"Ill be fine. I understand how she is feeling. Being in a room where her sisters empty beds are is hard. Sleeping with you two will bring her comfort." Sharon explained.

"Thanks Mom." Stef said walking into her mothers arms. Soon it became a group hug as Lena joined in.

"Go. ill lock up." Sharon ordered the two women as they pulled away from the hug. Stef and Lena looked at each other and admitted defeat, they weren't going to win, they never did with their mothers.

With one last hug from Sharon, Stef and Lena headed up the stairs to tuck the boys in and then snuggle with their daughter.
