Mid morning Saturday. (Adams Fosters)
Mariana and Matt had been working all morning to get Callie and Rylans pictures and descriptions all over the web. This was just as important as delivering flyers. Social media was major in the world now and so this was a good way to make sure it got out.
"How about emailing the flyers to local newspapers and the radio and tv stations. Maybe they will advertise it? Can't hurt to try?" Matt suggested to Mariana as he looked back at his own laptop and continued to make accounts for various social media sites so he could send out Rylan and Callies pictures and information.
"Good idea." Mariana responded as her fingers flew over the keys on her laptop. She was so glad she could help this way. The more people she could reach, the better. What better way then the internet?
Mariana and Matt looked up from their laptops when a knock on the door sounded through the house. Mariana frowned, who could that be?
Matt stopped Mariana from going to it. He kept her behind him as the two went towards the door. Can never be too cautious. Matt clasped the handle and pulled it open. A gasp from Mariana filled Matts ears and it took all of two seconds fro Mariana to brush past him and fling herself into the visitors arms.
"Grams, Grandpa." Mariana shrieked in happiness as she clung to the two.
"Hello my darling." Dana said as she and Stewart hugged one of their granddaughters.
"I'm so glad you are here." Mariana spoke as she pulled away from the embrace to look at their faces.
"No tears baby. No tears." Dana soothed the girl as she wiped the tears from the Latinas face with her thumb. Mariana smiled sadly before she stepped away and gestured towards the house.
"Come in. Its just Matt and Myself home now. Moms are at the station and Grandma and the others are delivering flyers." Mariana explained as Stewart grabbed one suitcase and Matt moved to pick the other. Stewart giving him a grateful smile as they all headed into the house, the door closed behind them.
"Why aren't you delivering flyers?" Stewart asked as he and Matt placed the suitcases to the side of the front door close to the living room before following Dana and Mariana into kitchen.
"I'm much more useful on a computer. The internet is used much more widely these days and it was better to send my sisters pictures out into the internet so that everyone could see." Mariana explained as she took a seat at the kitchen table where her laptop was situated surrounded by papers. Matt also took his seat at his laptop as Stewart stood behind his Granddaughter and Dana headed to the coffee pot.
Dana turned the coffee pot on as she watched Mariana show Stewart what she and Matt had been up too. She couldn't help but feel sad as she though about everything her daughters family had gone through and were now going through. It just wasn't fair.
The sound of the car could be heard and then the front door was opened.
"Miss Thing? We're home." Stefs voice filled the house.
"In the kitchen." Mariana called from her spot at the table. Stef entered the kitchen first and smiled at her In laws before walking over to Mariana. Knowing her wife would want to see her parents first.
"Mom, Daddy." Lena said as she flew into her Dads arms as he was the closest. Dana stepped over to her Daughter and Husband and the three of them ended up in a hug together.
"Lena baby." Dana sighed out relieved. She was glad to see her daughter.
"I'm happy you are here." Lena mumbled out into her fathers shoulder.
"We are too." Stewart whispered back as he hugged his daughter and wife closer to him.
"We're home." The sound of Judes voice filtered through the house. Lena pulled away from her parents with a watery smile before heading over to Mariana.
"Kitchen." Stef called back as the sound of feet could be heard. Soon enough, Wyatt, Brandon, Jude, Noah, Jesus and Sharon walked into the kitchen.
"Dana, Stewart. Good to see you." Sharon said as she sees her daughter in Laws parents in the kitchen.
"You too Sharon." Steward replied with a smile as their grand kids took it in turns to hug their Grams and Grandpa.
One by one Matt, Wyatt and Noah left to go home. Stef and Lena thanked them dearly. Their help was very appreciated. Stef promised to update them with anything about the girls.
"So Moms, sleeping arrangements?" Jesus asked as he helped Jude and his Grandmother Sharon pull the things out to make sandwiches.
"Um..Well Mariana sleeps in with us at the moment. Sharons in Marianas bed, ho.." Stef started but was cut off by Brandon.
"How about I bunk in the boys room and Grams and Grandpa can have my room? Ill blow up the double mattress for them." Brandon suggested, he could see that his Mom had been struggling for a solution. Knowing that having someone other then Rylan and Callie sleep in their beds was upsetting.
"Good idea, Thank you Brandon." Stef sighed with relief, glad to have help. Everyone then chipped in to get lunch ready.
"How did it go today?" Stef asked everyone as she grabbed glasses out for drinks. She and Lena will talk with everyone later about what happened at the station.
"We delivered all the flyers in our area and then we helped grandma, Noah and Jude with theirs." Brandon explained. Stef nodded, glad to have gotten them all delivered.
"How about you miss thing?" Lena asked as she placed the cut up sandwiches on a large plate to sit in the middle of the table.
"Matt and I managed to get a lot done. I was able to send emails off to friends with Callie and Rylans pictured and details on and told them to pass it on. I also managed to get onto a lot of social media sites and even emailed a few tv stations and news papers the flyer hoping that they will advertise is." Mariana explained as she pulled a salad sandwich from the pile once they had been placed in the middle of the table and everyone took their places.
"You my girl are so smart." Stef responded proudly, placing a kiss to the teens temple.
"Do you think this will work Moms?" Jude piped up from his seat, a sandwich in his hand.
"We can only hope. Every little thing we do will help in a way." Stef said trying to reassure them all.
"What happened at the station? Is there more news?" Brandon asked and silence filled the room as everyone looked to Stef and Lena, waiting for answers.
"How about we just eat and then we can go into the living room and talk?" Stef replied looking at everyone in the kitchen. That would give the two women time to sort their minds out before telling their family that things just got a lot crazier.
"Sure." Brandon said with a nod. Everyone agreeing that at the dining table was not a place to talk about this stuff.
Chatter filled the kitchen as everyone began to talk and eat. Thoughts of Callie and Rylan not straying to far from their minds.
Xxxxxxx
An hour later, food was eaten, dishes were done and now everyone sat around the living room, all facing Stef and Lena. All waiting for them to talk about what they had been called to the station for.
"So?" Mariana asked breaking the silence of the room. Lena and Stef looking at each other. Things were so surreal that it was crazy to think that this sort of thing was happening around the world all the time and was now in their lives.
"They found a connection with the couple from the camping ground and the mob boss." Stef finally said.
"What was it?" Mariana asked.
"James Also known as Daniel James, is Married to Amanda as we know but Amanda is also known as Kathleen James. She is Patrick Dunns daughter." Lena said and watched as everyone's jaws dropped in shock, just like her own.
"The mob boss' daughter." Jude whispered out in shock, even though everyone heard him.
"Yes. We also know that you were right Mariana. Uncle Toby isn't Rylans Uncle. He is a computer whiz in the Mob and also the man that killed Rylans mother." Mariana felt the tears fall down her face. She couldn't believe that her idea or speculation or whatever you want to call it was right. This was so crazy.
"So everything was connected, the knife, the 'uncle', the couple from the camp ground. This is crazy. This is like something out of a damn crime movie." Jesus said going through his thoughts out loud.
"Jesus, language." Lena scolded the teen.
"Sorry." Jesus mumbled
"May I be excused?" Jude asked. Lena and Stef nodded.
"Sure bud. You all can." Stef replied and just like that the four kids headed upstairs, the adults could understand that they were feeling overwhelmed.
Stef, Lena, Sharon, Dana and Stewart watched the teen head upstairs and then Lena and Stef headed upstairs, both with glum looks on their faces.
All Stewart, Dana and Sharon could do was watch as their daughters headed upstairs. They could tell everything was weighing heavily on their shoulders. The sooner Rylan and Callie are found, the sooner their family will be better.
All that the three of them knew right now was that their daughters and grand kids needed them. They would do what they needed to do to help out Stef, lena, Mariana, Brandon, Jude and Jesus. Anything to make it a little bearable.

Unknown location, House 6, Monday Morning. Day 4 of kidnapping, Rylan-Callie.
Its been a long couple of days. Callie was feeling very lonely, she missed her Moms, her brothers, her other little sister and she even missed Mike or as Rylan calls him, Uncle Mike.
All she had was memories of her family at the moment and thats what got her through the last couple of days. Having Rylan with her was helpful but she was only here in the morning and afternoon so that wasn't much. The days dragged on and on. It had only been a couple of days but it felt like it had been months.
Callie sat in the kitchen of the house picking at her lunch like she did everyday. Her mind drifting off every so often to her family and then to Rylan out of the streets with Jane. Every time Rylan left Callies worry for her intensified and her gut ached, she just couldn't relax until Rylan was back in her arms.
"Enjoying your lunch." A voice pulled Callie from her thoughts.
"Huh? What?" Callie looked up from her sandwich to look at Toby. Boy did she hate this man.
"I asked if you are enjoying your lunch?" Toby asked again as he leant against the wall that was right next to the basement door.
"Uh, yeah I guess." Callie was tense as she replied looking at Toby with a wary glance. She didn't want to be alone in the room with him let alone speak to him. She was cautious. She knew what he was capable of.
"Doesn't seem like it." Toby said with a smirk. The evil glint in Tobys eyes were all too familiar, she had seen it in most of her Foster fathers eyes and especially Liams. It was something she would never forget and she always looked for it when she was speaking to someone just to be sure.
"Just a lot on my mind." Callie sighed out looking down at her sandwich but keeping Toby in her vision from the corner of her eye, hopefully he would leave and she could get back to not being so tense and back to work.
"Want to talk?" He asked in an amused tone. Callie rolled her eyes before looking up at the evil Man.
"No offence but id rather not talk with you." Callie said sternly with a glare. She knew she shouldn't provoke him but this man was horrible.
"Non taken. You know Rylans Mom was a lot like you." Toby said with an even bigger smirk as he crossed his arms and looked at Callie. Callie could see his amusement, how he was getting entertainment from speaking of the women he killed. He wasn't even remorseful which made him that much more dangerous.
"Don't talk about Rylan or her Mom. You don't get the right to talk about her you murderer." Callie said through clenched teeth, her eyes piercing his with her anger, it didn't faze him at all which angered Callie all the more.
"She was feisty as well, very protective too. That got her killed." He continued not even caring about what Callie said. This got to Callie though, fear flicked through her eyes which Toby picked up on and he chuckled getting what he wanted. Instilling fear into someone.
"Is that a threat?" Callie asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Take it however you like." Toby smirked his stupid smirk again as he turned and left the kitchen. Callie gulped softly and let out the breath she was holding when he left the kitchen. Callie was a little scared, he was probably the worst threat in this house. She had to keep Rylan and her safe and away from Toby at all costs. Being alone with him again was something the two of them could not afford.

TIME JUMP
Unknown location. Thursday Afternoon – A week since kidnapping. Callie, Rylan.
Callie sat in the basement at the table measuring and packaging drugs. A week. It had been a week since they had come here and Callie was no closer to an escape plan then she had been a week ago. Everyday her promise to Rylan to get them out was breaking. Her heart was breaking.
Everyday was the same. They would get up, go downstairs and eat breakfast, go upstairs where they are met with Jane who would pick their outfits, then Callie would go to the basement to measure and pack drugs and Rylan would go off with Jane until 3ish. They would be left alone after three, go to the kitchen to eat dinner around 6 and then stay in their room the rest of the night.
Callie was craving fresh air. Kathleen and Jane had said she would be allowed to go out one day, it had been a week and Callie was feeling so closed in and stir crazy.
Callies layout of this current location that she had drawn was finished and updated. There wasn't much she could add to it. No new information had been given or had been heard and so she was at a stand still. She had studied the layout over and over again but still nothing jumped out at her.
When Rylan was out she was blindfolded in the car and taken to places she didn't even know, nothing looked familiar to her at all. Rylan even took mental notes while she was out but nothing was familiar so that was a dead end. Callie knew that they did that on purpose.
What scared her the most was that Toby was hanging around the house more. After their conversation a little less then a week ago in the kitchen where he had threatened her, Callie tried to steer clear of him and keep Rylan away. No matter how much she tried to keep away from him, he was always there, he was always fiddling with a knife and smirking in Rylan and Callies direction and lately, most nights he has been coming into the kitchen at dinner to clean his gun at the table and it was always right at the time the girls would come in for dinner. Another scare tactic. Callie would do her best to move away from him but it never worked. She had no protection from him what so ever. He never tried to hurt them but he would fiddle with his knife or gun and wink at Callie. He had instilled fear into her and Rylan and he liked watching them because of that.
Again all Callie could do was wait, wait for them to let her go out onto the street to sell and then she would be able to get more of an idea as to where they were and how to escape. She hated to say it but time, she needed time.
"Callie, I'm back." Callie heard the little girls voice before she even saw her. A smile bloomed on her face as she hears it. Pulling her gloves off and pushing her chair away from the table she was currently sitting at so she could greet the little girl. Soon enough Rylan was running straight to her, just a flash of red was all Callie could see as Rylan jumped at her.
Everyday Rylan had greeted her this way. The first time Rylan had gone out the little girl was so scared, she still was but she knew she would always see Callie at the end of the day and that made her feel a little bit more reassured.
"Hey baby. How was today?" Callie whispered to the little girl as she pulled her onto her lap for a cuddle. She missed the little girl every second she was away. Mostly the fear being one of the major things on her mind knowing that Rylan being out on the streets with a complete stranger without her for protection.
"It was alright. I'm getting bored of doing the same thing Callie. I want to get out of here." Rylan sighed out as she snuggled into her big sister. Callie gave a sad smile to the little girl and kissed her head.
"I know, me too. At least you get to go out and get fresh air." Callie explained hoping to cheer the girl up a little. Callie was a little jealous of that but she got over it quickly.
"Yeah but I miss you and Jane has always got a hold of me." Rylan whispered back and Callie nodded.
The two girls had talked about Rylan running. Leaving Callie behind but the little girl had refused. Not only was she scared of being by herself out in the world, she was also afraid of what they would do to Callie if she ran. In the end Callie had to give up on that line of thought. Rylan wouldn't do it no matter what.
Standing from the chair, Callie settled Rylan on the now vacant chair before packing up the tools and drugs she had been packaging that day, ready for her to do again tomorrow.
"Ready to go upstairs?" Rylan nodded in relief. Callie clasped Rylans hand in hers and the two made their way up the stairs to their room like they did everyday. This was their down time and their time to talk.
Jane gave them a smile as she walked down the stairs passed the two. Callie and Rylan forced out really good fake smiles before continuing to their room.
Toby walked out of a room at the end of the hall and smirked, a knife, was in his hand like always. The light reflecting off of the blade as It was twirled. Callie shivered and pulled Rylan closer to her side as he passed. The two continued to their room, Callie could feel Tobys eyes on the two of them all the way until they disappeared into their room.
"I really don't like him. He scares me a lot." Rylan said as she walked over to the bed. Callie closed the door and locked it behind her.
"Same."
"Did you find out anything new today?" Rylan asked hopefully from her spot on the bed. Callie sighed and shook her head in defeat before walking to sit on the bed next to Rylan. She knew she was failing and that hurt a lot.
"No. nothing new. Layout is complete but no way out without getting caught. Kathleen said this is their safest house and I can now see why." Callie explained to the little girl.
"We're never going home Callie." Rylan stated, her tone full of defeat. Callie new the little girl had finally given up, it had been so so long. Callie wanted to give up but she had to keep her promise.
"We are. " Callie stated back firmly to the little girl. Rylan just glared at her big sister.
"You say that all the time. WE ARE NEVER GOING HOME." Rylan yelled before throwing herself back on the bed so she was laying down with her face in the pillows. Callie felt her own tears falling as she looked at her sobbing sister. It was getting so hard, every day was getting harder and harder.
Callie crawled across the bed to lay on her stomach by Rylan. She placed her head right next to the little girls and placed her left hand on Rylans back and gently rubbed it in soothing circles.
"Hey shhh, shh, shh. We will, we will. Just trust me ok." Callie whispered softly, trying everything she could to calm the girl and reassure her. The thing was, it was hard to reassure her when she couldn't even reassure herself.
"I want Moms." Rylan said through her sobs as she lifted her head to look at Callie.
"I know. I know. You have me until then. " Rylan launched herself at ended up on her back with the little girl on her chest, her little face buried in Callies neck.
Rylan and Callie lay their for a good half an hour in silence, just basking in the comfort that they could each provide for the other.
Rylan sat up and wiped her face before she looked around. Callie just lay on her back looking up at the little girl. She could tell that Rylan was deep in thought.
"We need to do something Cal. There has to be some way out. Think like Mommy would." Callie smiled and sat up, there was the fighting spirit she had come to know and love.
"We just need to be brave and wait it out. There has to be a flaw in their system somewhere. Ill find it. I know I can." Callie said with more enthusiasm then she had felt in the last couple of days. She was going to get them out.
"I can be brave, ill do it. We will get out of here Callie, we just have to think like Mommy." Callie chuckled and nodded, she was glad Rylan was back to thinking positive, that made Callie feel much more determined and better.
"Good girl, yes we will. Now, how about we go down and get some dinner. I heard the cook is making Lasagne, garlic bread and mousse tonight." Callie explained trying to get their minds off their previous conversation, only for just a bit.
"Its not the same as Mamas though." Rylan said pointing out. Callie chuckled. The girl did have a point.
"True, nothing is the same as Mamas, but its food." Rylan nodded as she agreed. Her Mothers food was the best.
"Alright, I am hungry after walking around all day." Rylan said as she scooted out of the bed and landed on her feet.
"Lets wash up first. I feel gross after crying." Rylan nodded as the two headed into the bathroom to check their appearance, not wanting to give their captors the satisfaction of seeing them emotional.
"Lets go." Rylan said with a grin as she grabbed Callies hand and pulled her out of the bathroom and out of the room. She was hungry, even if it wasn't her parents food.
What did you think?
More to come.
