SATURDAY MORNING:
"Morning Mom. The boys and Mama still sleeping?" Callie asked as she came into the kitchen, only seeing her Mother at the kitchen table reading the newspaper and sipping coffee. She already knew Mariana was still sleeping but Rylans bed was empty, probably crept into her Mothers bed. Callie was glad that the little girl felt safe enough again to sneak into their Mothers room, it could be a one off but Callie was grateful.
"Morning Bug. Yeah. Well, Mama is in the shower but the others are. Its a Saturday and the start of Summer holidays." Stef explained as she looked up from her newspaper to look at her daughter.
"Very true. I saw Rylans bed was empty. Did she crawl in with you and Mama?" Callie asked as she got herself a glass out and poured some orange juice before sitting at the table with her Mother.
"Yeah at about 2am. She couldn't sleep. Nightmares." Stef told the teen. Callie nodded as she sipped her juice.
"She didn't sleep that well when we were gone. I guess its a lot for someone so young to be taken from a place they've known for a while and thrust into somewhere unfamiliar." Callie told her Mother. Stef looked at the teen, like really looked at her.
"How were your nightmares?" Stef asked the teen once she had finished her examining of the girl. Callie sipped on her orange juice before looking her Mother in the eyes.
"Um, I had one or two but they weren't that bad." Callie told her mother in a tone that sounded like it was no big deal.
"Remember, you can come into our room any time sweets, whether it is 2am or 2pm. We will help you, you are not alone." Stef told the teen as she brushed some blonde hair from the teens face and pushed it behind her ear.
"I know, honestly I'm fine. I handled them. I promise to come to you or Mama if it gets bad." Callie promised he Mother. Stef nodded as she searched the girl eyes for the truth.
"Ok, good girl. I love you." Stef responded after seeing that Callie was telling the truth.
"I love you too Mom." Callie said with a smile as Lena entered the kitchen.
"Morning Bug. How did you sleep?" Lena asked as she moved towards the coffee pot, placing a kiss on the teens head as she went by.
"Two nightmares but I handled it, I'm fine." Callie told her Mama in a shortened version to what she told her Mother. No point repeating the same thing twice.
"Ok. Well since you are the only child up early this morning, you can choose what we have for breakfast. So what will it be?" Lena asked before sipping her coffee. Waiting for the teen to decide.
"French toast?" Callie asked. Lena smiled and gave Stef an amused look.
"I should have known." Lena says with a chuckle. It was Callies favourite breakfast after all.
"Can I help?" Callie asked as she watched her mother start to set up for breakfast.
"Sure can love bug." Lena told the teen as she continued to get things out, giving Callie instructions as she did.
Stef watched the two with a smile for a moment before she went back to sipping her coffee and reading the newspaper. Her quiet moment before all the kids were up and needed her or Lena.

The smell of breakfast had roused the kids, well all apart from Rylan. The mothers decided not to wake her, the little girl needed sleep after her night full of bad dreams.
Brandon and Mariana were washing up dishes from breakfast, Callie was upstairs showering, Jesus was taking out the trash and Jude was getting dressed.
It was about 15 minutes after breakfast had been eaten that the little girl made her appearance, her bee toy tucked under her left arm and her right hand rubbing the sleep from her eyes.
Lena was the first to spot the girl as she and Stef sat at the kitchen table with their cups of coffee. Rylan sees her Mama and immediately went over to her. Her right arm raised, signalling for her Mama to pick her up.
"Hey sweetheart, still tired huh?" Lena asked the little girl as she kisses her temple. Rylan nods and snuggles up into her Mamas neck.
"Are you hungry?" Lena asks the girl and gets a shake of the head in response.
"How about just some juice?" Lena asks, she needed to get something into the little girls belly this morning. Rylan nods as Callie walks into the kitchen along with Jude. The two of them all dressed for the day.
"I got it Mama." Brandon says as he places the last dish on the drying rack ready for Mariana to dry before he grabs Rylans child cup and fills it with orange juice before handing it to his Mama.
"Thanks B." Lena thanks the teen as Rylan begins to sip on her juice.
"Stef, Lena?" The voice of Stefs Mother filled the house.
"Come in Mom." Stef called out as she places her now finished coffee cup along with Lenas, in the sink.
"Hi Grandma." Callie says as Sharon steps into the kitchen. Sharon is immediately pulling the teen into her arms. Not once commenting on the hair colour Rylan or Callie were sporting. It was obviously something the kidnappers had done to make the girls look a lot less like themselves.
"Mom, let her breath." Stef says with a laugh as Callie is hugged tightly.
"I'm sorry sweetheart." Sharon says as she releases her hold on the teen. She was just so glad to see her.
"Its ok. We missed you too." Callie responded as she gestured to herself and Rylan who was still cuddled up in Lenas arms. Sharon moved towards the little girl and placed a kiss to the little girls temple. Glad to see the two are fine with her own eyes.
"Well I bought doughnuts." Sharon told the family as she moved towards the entry of the house where she left her things.
"Yes, best day ever." Jesus cheered at the thought of doughnuts.
"You just had breakfast." Mariana pointed out as she rolled her eyes. Jesus turned to her and looked at her like she had a second head.
"So? Its doughnuts, Mariana. Doughnuts. There is always room for doughnuts." Jesus explained dramatically which had the little girl in Lenas arms smiling and letting out a little giggle. Lena shook her head in amusement at her son.
"You can have them when we watch the movies." Lena responded. The French toast was enough sugar for now. No doubt with Sharon here, the kids would be on a sugar overload like always.
"Awwwww but.." Jesus said in a whine before he was interrupted by his blonde mother.
"No buts, Mama said with the movies." Stef told them in a no nonsense tone, which the kids always listened to.
"Alright." Jesus sighed out in defeat.
"So what are we doing today?" Sharon asked the family. Knowing that Movies were on the list but knowing her family, there surly were other things as well.
"Just about to watch the morning news, the media have been told that Callie and Rylan have been found." Brandon told his grandmother. Sharon nodded.
"Then we are watching movies and playing games." Jude further explained what was happening today.
"Alright, lets go get seated." Stef said gesturing to the living room. Everyone followed Stefs instructions and went to the living room. Rylan still clutching her bee toy as she was carried on her Mamas hip into the living room.
Stef and Lena shared a look. The little girls nightmares were obviously taking its toll on her but they couldn't do much when the girl refused to speak about it and dodged the questions.
They were just in time for the news as everyone got seated around the living room to watch.
'NEWS'
"Your morning news with Tim McMillian."
"Good morning everyone. What a beautiful morning here in San Diego. On this mornings news, we discuss Interest rates on the rise and the renters market at an all new high. But first we cross over Live to Lisa CramShaw with a update on the Missing Girls."
"Thanks Tim. I am here live outside of a home in San Diego. This may look like just a normal house but that is not the case as this is not just a normal house. On Thursday police received a tip off on the location of 16 year old Callie and 7 year old Rylan. Police stormed the home behind me, with some help of the team in black. The S.W.A.T team. Inside this home, men and women were arrested and a number of drugs and Weapons were seized. Reports say that the two missing girls were found at this location. Medics were called in after reports of gunshots were fired in the home. It is said that one of the girls was injured in the gunfire but we have not received any more information as of yet on how serious she was injured. It may be the end of this Drug house but have the girls kidnappers been apprehended?
We will update you all with the information as we receive it.
This is Lisa CramShaw, back to you Tim.
Not needing to see any more, Stef turns the tv off and looks around at the kids, her wife and her Mother. The room was silent as everyone takes in what they had heard. They all knew that the girls kidnappers hadn't been apprehended and it was daunting. They did have Toby in custody, so that was something. They also knew that Toby probably wouldn't talk so he was a dead end on that.
Stef knew that even though there were police patrolling and they had FBI protection, it was still scary for the kids.
"Alright, so lets get this movie and games day started." Stef says to cut the silence out. The news was seen and now they needed to move on from it.
"You know what games day and movie day needs?" Sharon asks the kids, seeing what Stef did. Distracting them from the news.
"What?" All the kids asked as they turned their heads from the blank tv screen towards their Grandmother.
"Candy, chocolate and chips. " Sharon told them. Smiles instantly lit up on Brandon, Jesus, Mariana, Jude, Callies faces. Rylan just burying her head into her Mamas neck more.
"Moooom, really?" Stef groaned as she leant back against the backrest of the single sofa she was on and ran a hand down her face.
"Whats wrong with that?" Sharon asked with a raised eyebrow, daring her daughter to challenge her.
"You want to fill my kids up with junk food, thats whats wrong. A little bit of junk food is fine but you always go too far." Stef complained, giving her mother a raised eyebrow in warning.
"Oh, they will be alright. Its just one day, its not like they have it every day." Sharon said brushing off her daughters warning. Grandmas always spoil their Grand kids. Its one of the best things about being a grandmother.
"Lena?" Stef looked at Lena for her opinion. Lena looked at her wife and shrugged as she cuddled Rylan to her more. The little girl slowly drifting off in her arms.
"Its one day." Lena responded.
"Yay." All the kids cheered, well all minus Rylan.
"But..." Lena started but was interrupted.
"Oh no, I hate when Moms say But at the start of a sentence." Jesus complained.
"But you will have vegetables for dinner and when we say enough junk food, its enough. Understood?" Lena told the kids with a stern look.
"Yes Mama." All the kids agreed.
"Ok well then. Jude, Mariana, Rylan and Brandon you pick out the movies and games, remember age appropriate movies for Rylan. Callie, Jesus with me. To the shops." Sharon said to them.
"I want to go with Callie." Rylan said as she struggled out of her Mamas arms and moved towards Callie. Sharon looked at Lena and Stef with a raised eyebrow.
"Go get dressed and then you can go." Rylan nodded at her Moms before she pulled Callie with her up the stairs. The mothers allowing the behaviour because they knew it would probably ease up once they got settled.

The day had gone really well. The family felt fully relaxed after family time and resting. It was definitely needed.
Although the kids had eaten their body weight in junk food, Lena was happy that no one complained when salad was placed on their plates and all eaten up. Junk food was good but too much made you sick and the salad was a good change from the sweet and salty food they had consumed during the day.

Saturday night - well very early sunday morning.
Saturday night, well very early sunday morning saw Rylan walking into her Mothers dark bedroom.
"Mommy?" Rylan called softly as she stood at the end of her parents bed.
"Mama?" Rylan called softly as she moved towards Lenas side of the bed.
"Mama?" Rylan called softly and shook her Mama awake.
"Whats up sweetheart? More nightmares." Lena rubs the sleep out of her eyes as she asks the little girl. Rylan nods and wipes the tears from her eyes as Lena scoops the little girl up and places her in the middle of the bed just like she did last night.
Stef hearing the two of them looks at the alarm clock on her side of the bed. 1.30am. Her and Lena had only gone to bed 2 hours ago.
Turning onto her side to look at her wife and daughter, Stef spots the shining tears on the little girls face and softly wipes them away.
"Why wont they go away? Make them go away Mommy." Rylan says burying her face into her Mommys neck. Shaking sobs wrack the little girls body. Stef and Lena share a look. These nightmares were becoming to much for the little girl.
"Oh sweetheart. Shhh. Shhh." Lena whispers softly into Rylans ear as she strokes her back.
"They keep taking me." Rylan mumbles into Stefs neck but both Mothers were able to hear what she said.
"Who does sweets?" Stef asks moving Rylans head away from her neck so she can look at the little girls face. Rylan hiccups and sniffles as she looks at her Mothers face. Shes tries to calm herself so she can tell her mother what her dreams have been about.
"The bad people who took me before. They are always in my dreams. I want them to go away Mommy. Mama make them go." Rylan says getting herself all worked up again. Tears streaming down her face.
"Oh honey. Its just a nightmare. Mommy and I are going to do our best to keep you safe. A lot of people are trying to keep you safe. You just have to trust us." Lena whispered softly to the hysterical girl.
"I want them to go away. Please make them go away." Rylan continues to say, her mothers words not doing anything to bring comfort to the little girl. Stef and Lena share a heartbroken look. The little girls dreams were bad, to be this hysterical they were affecting her too much.
"Make them go Mommy. Please. Please. " Rylan mumbles as she cries herself to sleep in her Mommys arms.
Lena scoots out of bed and heads into the bathroom to grab a wash cloth to clean the little girls face.
At least they know what the dreams were about. Now they just had to help her through them.
More to come.
