Aubrey readjusted herself, fingering the throwing stars in the pockets of her combat suit. The sun glared down and she had shucked off the civilian clothes hours ago, tucking them back into the bag. Several minutes had passed since a new car had arrived but her goggles hadn't been able to identify him as the evaluator or not, which had struck her as odd. Aubrey's keen gaze kept flicking around the different locations, searching for any kind of abnormality. Briefly, she thought about changing vantage points but decided against it because her current one enabled her to see the majority of the entrances.
Just as she was about to stand, something shook the ground and Aubrey watched in shock as the compound went dark. She sprung into action immediately, making sure to strap on the quiver of arrows before tucking her backpack in the corner, promising to retrieve it. Jumping onto the lip, Aubrey's Nano's poured out of her back and formed, she stepped off as soon as the wings were forming and free-fell until the jets fired. The soldiers on the ground were too confused to notice the form gliding onto the glass bridge. She crouched, winding up a fist and punching the blue glass. Her leg stung but Aubrey ignored the pain, her mind focused on the mission. The glass cracked, shards of it sticking to her fist as she hit it again. It shattered, the plate of it falling to the floor, taking her with it. Throwing a glance left and right Aubrey went left, the side that the evaluator had gone into. Most of the hallways she chose were empty but few had frantic people running towards the exit. She wound through the labyrinth until the stairs loomed before her. Jumping down the flights, Aubrey stopped when she looked through the window for the fourth level. It was empty. She kept going and the fifth had unconscious guards strung throughout the room. She followed the path of unconscious people to the elevator and stopped, her brows furrowing. The metal doors had been ripped off and looked beyond repair.
A theory started forming in her mind but Aubrey wasn't ready to entertain it yet. Instead, she summoned her bow, notching an arrow before moving on. Soon she found the containment room and stopped cold, anger boiling in the pit of her stomach. Whoever had done this would pay…. This she knew.
In front of her sat what remained of Bucky's containment cell, the door had been thrown off its hinges and lay shattered on the ground. Aubrey's gaze flickered around the room. Holes had been punched in the wall and damages were everywhere. Clearly whoever had been here with Bucky had moved on. She knew that she would have to move quickly so Aubrey dashed back up the stairs, following until she saw the exit sign for the main level. But she stepped out into chaos. The room itself had a staircase in the corner with ledges and hallways above.
People rushed around the room, several of whom Aubrey recognized. She watched, almost in slow motion as Tony Stark was pushed to the floor by Bucky….not Bucky...but the Winter Soldier. A blond-haired agent launched at him, throwing a series of sidekicks as Aubrey puffed a breath out of her lips, letting her training take over. She rushed at him from behind just as the blond threw a kick. He started to throw his metal arm to block it but Aubrey grabbed the wound up fist as her wings activated and the jets hummed. The arm made a grinding noise at the resistance but it enabled the agent's kicks to hit his exposed side. He barely winced though as the blond backed off, noticing Aubrey's presence. She let go of Bucky's fist and he whirled around to her, fog in his eyes. He threw a punch and she easily dodged, speaking in rapid German.
"Bucky, schnappen Sie sich davon, das bist du nicht." [Bucky, snap out of it, this isn't you]
His eyes cleared for a fraction of a second and he started to step back but his spine stiffened and he advanced. Aubrey hissed under her breath before blocking his punch and throwing a kick at his chest. Bucky's arm went to block the kick but instead, he took a hold of the tip of her right-wing, pushing Aubrey off-balance and to the side. But he was distracted and didn't react fast enough to Black Widow darting in and pushing her knee onto his chest. Aubrey got to her feet, letting the blond agent and Black Widow take a couple of shots. Bucky flipped the blond into a table and Widow spun onto him, wrapping her legs around his neck and bashing his head with her elbows. He staggered forward, flipping Widow down and onto a table, his metal hand gripping her throat tightly.
Aubrey came up behind him, jumping and wrapping her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck, wings flapping backward. He stumbled back, letting go of Widow, who gasped for breath, her neck red. Aubrey dislodged from Bucky and hovered above the ground as he turned on her, murder in his eyes. But someone came from the shadows, stealing his attention towards the new person who came at him with fury. The man had short-cropped hair and fought well, landing a punch on Bucky's jaw more than once. But Bucky was still able to throw him backward and pound to the stairs on the far end of the room, taking them four at a time. Aubrey knew she needed to follow in order to figure out who had done this and what his mission was. Her eyes darted around the room, Tony had stood and eyed her, shaking his head. She turned her gaze away from him and flew towards the stairs, swinging her legs over the railing and following Bucky's trail.
Someone had already beat her, the man jumped from a ledge with surprising speed, bringing to mind the cat-man from earlier. It didn't take long for her to put it together, they had to be the same person. The fight was quick and before she had a chance to jump in the two tumbled down the stairs and cat-man catapulted Bucky into a wall. He fell down to the main level. Aubrey jumped over the railing, landing smoothly and catching the glint of Bucky's metal arm as it moved down the hallway. He moved quickly, and soon she found his wandering through the hallways had purpose, he was headed up. To the Helicopter pad. Her bow formed and Aubrey notched an arrow, waiting until the door closed behind Bucky but as she reached for the handle, footsteps from behind brought her to a halt. Captain America stopped at the sight of her but Aubrey knew they didn't have time to waste. She tilted her head towards the door before rushing through it, Cap only a few steps behind. Bucky was in the helicopter and it turned on, the blades whooshing through the air as it began to hover. She put the arrow back before running at it and jumping. Commanding the wings to form, she took hold of the landing skis and pulled, her wings flapping and jets grinding with purpose. Cap took hold of the ski's beside her and Aubrey let go, flapping back a step as she notched an arrow and aimed at the tail blades. The arrow's sleek design enabled it to fly quickly and lodge itself perfectly in the gears.
They ground and sparked as she shot another and the blades stopped, causing the copter to slow as it got closer and closer to the edge. Captain America had taken hold of the skis in one hand and the yellow railing in the other, his feet on the wire cage that surrounded the pad. Aubrey flew to the other side of the helicopter and rammed into it, shoulder first. She felt the metal dent beneath her strength and pushed with all her might, a hiss making its way out of her mouth. Slowly the copter began moving back towards the pad but suddenly it jerked and aimed itself at the landing pad. A terrified scream made its way out of her mouth as she scrambled to fly out of the way. The copter smashed into the cement, its blades cracking it and throwing it in all directions. She was able to dodge most of it but a large chunk caught her off guard and hit her shoulder. Aubrey felt a pop as pain radiated down her side, her arm became useless, the smallest movement making her want to cry out.
The helicopter had stopped at the edge, perched precariously. One of the cracked windows was smashed open as Bucky's metal arm put Cap in a chokehold. Aubrey moved to help but it happened too fast. The copter slid off the edge, pulling both men with it and into the water below. A shocked noise made its way out of her mouth. Descending to the water, Aubrey hovered above its depths, as the copter sank. But when she craned her neck and squinted her eyes, she saw no one inside it. A splashing noise sounded to her right and she whirled around to see Cap pulling an unconscious Bucky to the shore. Aubrey's arm stung and she locked eyes with Cap before turning and flying back to the rooftop. Almost dizzy with pain, she retrieved her backpack before heading back to the lake. It was easy enough to track them. Muddy footprints lined one of the banks, along with the trail of a body being dragged. The trail led into the forest and she followed it with fervor but slowed when she heard the voices of Cap and Falcon.
"We need to get him somewhere" Cap sounded as stressed as she felt.
"I know. There's a lot of abandoned warehouses in the area, shouldn't be too hard to find one." car doors sounded, part of her wanted to stop and tend to her arm but she knew if she didn't follow them now then she would be left behind. Aubrey waited until the vehicle started before shuddering as her wings formed. Soaring into the sky, flying through the clouds, making sure to keep a careful eye on the van that Cap had Bucky and Falcon in. The vehicle weaved through the outskirts of the city before pulling onto a gravel road and stopping at a large grey building. It was square with two sets of garage doors and a small entrance door to the side. Small windows sat up by the roofing. It was surrounded by a smattering of trees and brush. As soon as the van had pulled into the garage, Aubrey landed on the shingled roof and crouched down at the end. Laying on her stomach and leaning over the edge, using her good arm to finger the window. It jiggled and with a yank, it slid open. Sliding off, her wings fluttering, Aubrey pulled herself through, making sure to close it before pushing off the small ledge inside and onto a support beam. Parts of the warehouse were blocked with walls and below her stood Captain America. He peered anxiously out of the cracked door as the whir of helicopters sounded overhead. At the far end of the warehouse, she saw Falcon leaning against a doorway. Silently, she glided from one beam to the next until she could peer over the wall. Bucky had been leaned on the floor, his metal arm under a jack, head lolled to the side. Telling her that he was unconscious. Perching on the beam, Aubrey took a moment to examine her arm. Left hand gently palpating her right shoulder, wincing as she felt the Humerus bone slide beneath her touch. Pain radiated from her limp arm and she knew it was dislocated. Raising the arm behind her head, Aubrey bent it and winced as she felt the bone slide and pop into place. Feeling slowly came back and she brought forth the remainder of her Nano's. Forming a sort of cast around her shoulder and upper arm to keep it in place while her accelerated healing started working. The wound on her forehead had scabbed over, as had her leg, both now only had a dull throb when the skin was stretched. Noise from below caught her attention and Aubrey's gaze snapped to where Bucky sat. He groaned again, his head sitting up. Falcon pushed off the doorway
"Hey Cap," he said, just loud enough for him to hear. Captain America turned and jogged over to where Bucky sat, concern plastered on his face. Bucky pulled himself to a better position, coughing
"Steve" he whispered
"Which Bucky am I talking to?" he eyed his friend
"Your mom's name was Sarah…-" he paused, pain flashing in his expression "-You used to wear newspapers in your shoes" a small, unhappy laugh made its way from Bucky's mouth and Aubrey's chest tightened.
"Can't read that in a museum" Cap chuckled slightly but Falcon looked between the two of them, a shocked expression on his face
"Just like that we're supposed to be cool?" his brows raised at the question
"What did I do?" Bucky murmured. Aubrey sat down on the beam, sliding off the edge and landing smoothly on the ground beneath, her wings helping soften her landing before they skittered back into her blood.
"Enough" Cap crossed his arms, leaning back against the wall as Aubrey crept forward. Captain America's head snapped immediately to where she stood, stiffening. Bucky's eyes glanced at Aubrey and his body pulled taut. Falcon turned and surprise briefly flashed across his face before he hid it behind suspicious eyes.
"I knew this would happen" Bucky's eyes left hers and he stared at the floor.
"We knew this was a possibility" Aubrey corrected quietly as she strode further into the room and beside her friend. Dropping her bag to the floor, she took a hold of the heavy lever and pushed her weight onto it. It creaked and groaned before giving away and the jack lifted off of his metal arm. Bucky pulled it out, rotating it and rubbing the wrist. "I just didn't expect to be on a scale this big" Aubrey leaned against the jack, her hand absentmindedly rubbing her shoulder cast.
"Everything that Hydra put in me is still there...all he had to do was say the words" Bucky turned slightly, his eyes running over Aubrey's tired form, pausing briefly on each of her injuries.
"Who was he?"
"I don't know"
Aubrey hadn't seen the man's face but she turned to Bucky as Cap's voice hardened
"People are dead. The bombing, the setup, the doctor did all that just to get ten minutes with you. I need you to do better then I don't know"
"What I want to know…" she paused, locking eyes with Cap "-is why he went for Bucky and not me"
"What do you mean?" Falcon shoved his hands in his pockets.
"This man, whoever he is...could've found me and framed me so much faster than what he did...-" Bucky cut her off
"You're deadlier"
"I wouldn't say that-" she corrected "- he wanted you for a reason." she crouched in front of him "Bucky what do you know that I don't."
Bucky's eyes gazed into hers as he whispered "He wanted to know about Siberia...where I was kept…..He wanted to know exactly where."
"Why would he want that?" Aubrey rocked back on her heels, feeling something in the back of her mind awaken.
"Because we aren't the only ones" His eyes scanned all three faces but Aubrey had to keep herself from falling over as a memory emerged.
The Eagle stood at attention beside the wall, waiting until her handler ordered her out. Five soldiers sat on medical beds, electric blue liquid in I.V bags next to them. Technicians inserted needles into each soldier's arms.
"Adler" her handler came over and she stiffened with the words, awaiting her mission "These are the next generation of Soldiers. I don't expect them to go far, too unstable….not controllable. But of course, this means nothing to you. Your mission is to keep these doctors safe until the serums are finished.-" her handler paused, saying quieter "Do what you have to control them"
Eagle nodded stiffly, her bow in one hand and arrows in another as her handler left and she focused on the mission. As the blue serum started filtering into their blood, screams of pain started radiating through the room and one of them grabbed a doctor's arm. The doctor jumped back but the man kept hold. Eagle stiffened and quickly strode towards the medical bed, instincts, and training taking over. She hissed and unhooked the man's hand from the doctor's arm, talons digging into his flesh. Droplets of blood beaded where her talons touched, Eagle held down both of his arms as he squirmed. The other doctors strapped his hands in metal bands and she let go, moving onto the next soldier.
Aubrey came back, a hand rested on her shoulder and her eyes frantically darted around the room. She had moved and was now sitting on the floor, leaning against the jack.
"You're back?" Bucky whispered softly, he was crouched next to her and when she nodded meekly, he inched back up onto the edge of the jack, his hand retracting. Captain America's brows were pulled down and he looked at her worriedly
"I remember, them-" she looked up at Cap, he interrupted her
"Who were they?"
"Their most elite death squad" Bucky cut in as Aubrey put her head in her hands, massaging her pounding temples. "More kills than anyone in Hydra history. And that was before the serum."
"They all turn out like you?" Falcon nodded towards her and him.
"Worse" she whispered "so much worse"
"The doctor, could he control them?"
"Enough" Bucky looked down at his metal hand, flexing it as Cap continued.
"Said he wanted to see an empire fall"
"With these guys, he could do it. They can speak thirty languages, hide in plain sight, infiltrate, assassinate, destabilize. They can take a whole country down in one night, you'd never see them coming." Falcon pushed off of the wall at Bucky's words and went over to Cap, his back facing them as he whispered.
Bucky looked at her "How bad was it" she saw in his eyes that he needed to know.
"I don't think anyone died, but it wasn't your fault." she pushed up onto the edge of the jack and sat beside Bucky.
"Your arm?" he nodded to her Nano cast and then to her scabbed forehead "and you have a slight limp you're trying to hide."
She sighed, sometimes he was too perceptive for his own good. "Forehead and leg from the first battle. The arm happened today, just dislocated, it popped back in easy enough"
Bucky nodded, satisfied with her explanation as he leaned forward, propping his elbows on his knees. She could see the guilt weighing down on him, the way his shoulders hunched and forehead creased. Aubrey bumped his shoulder gently, causing him to glance at her
"We'll figure this out, Buck. But you can't disappear into your head."
"I should've been more careful, instead I let my guard down...hadn't moved safe houses in a couple of weeks."
"It's in the past now, you really liked Bucharest, told me so yourself. It's no one's fault, we couldn't have predicted someone would do something this big just to find you."
"What now though?" he opened his mouth to say more but Captain America cut in
"We get our gear and go from there"
Aubrey's brows tugged down "How are you going to get it when it's in that compound?"
"I have a contact-" was all he said before Falcon said something quietly and walked out "-Sam's going to grab a car.-" his eyes darted between the two of them "-I'll keep watch until he gets back." With that, he turned and headed back to his post at the door. She watched him go, noting the slight hunch at his shoulders.
Standing to her feet she turned to Bucky tilting her head in the direction Cap had gone.
"You should talk to him, he's doing this for you"
Standing, he sighed heavily "I hate it when you're right" but it was said with a small smile as Bucky headed in Cap's direction. Aubrey wandered out of the room and around the warehouse, noting the various graffiti that was painted on the walls. All the people who had been here before her, just wanting to make their mark on the world…..keep a record of where they had been. A paint can lay on the floor and she crouched, fingering it before picking it up and moving to a small part of the wall that hadn't been touched yet. Shaking the can told her there was a small amount left. Aubrey pulled the trigger and wrote in a neat font
I'm about to go to fight for my best friend's life and the lives of countless others. If you're reading this then I hope we've succeeded and the world will be able to move on in peace. We could all use a little more peace.
~Aubrey, The Eagle.
Part of her felt silly doing it but the other part felt satisfied, knowing that countless others would come here and read the words before leaving their own message scribbled on the walls. The sound of an engine made her turn as she retrieved her bag before following Bucky and Cap outside to the vehicle Falcon had brought back. She paused at the sight of the antique, navy blue, Volkswagen beetle, although her parents had always called them slug-bugs.
"What is that?" Bucky growled under his breath as the three strode towards it.
"A slug bug" Aubrey grinned at him as Falcon got out of the driver's seat, a smug look on his face
"Low profile enough for ya Cap?"
Captain America rolled his eyes at his friend as everyone packed into the beetle. Falcon got into the passenger seat, Bucky sitting behind him. Aubrey slid into the seat beside him, pushing her bag onto the floor by her feet. The fit was tight. Only a few inches of space sat between her and Bucky. Cap started driving and the trip was long and uncomfortable, they skirted around Berlin, heading into the country.
Stopping under a traffic bridge, their surroundings nothing but dirt, shrubbery, and trees. Aubrey re-adjusted, her legs aching from being cramped in the little car for half an hour. Bucky did the same and finally looked over at her, he had done nothing but stare out of the window since they'd left. He opened his mouth to say something but a blue car pulled up and a familiar blonde woman got out. Cap did the same and headed towards her.
"Who is she?" Aubrey asked, watching as the two started talking. She leaned forward, resting her arms on the top of the driver seat as the blonde opened the back of her car, revealing Cap and Falcons gear.
"You may be familiar with her aunt" Bucky murmured to her as Falcon tried to speak over him
"Sharon Carter, S.H.I.E.L.D agent"
Aubrey nodded, realizing that this woman must be the niece of Peggy Carter, the person Bucky had told her about.
"Can you move your seat up?" Bucky shifted again as he spoke but Falcon only leaned back into his seat
"No" he steeled his gaze forward and Aubrey felt the icy chill between the two. Bucky's brows dropped and he slid closer to her. She started to murmur something to him in German but a scene outside the car caught her eye. Cap had embraced Sharon and they stepped back from one another, chuckling. Sharon smiled sweetly at him before heading back to her car. He threw a glance back at the car to see Falcon and Bucky both nod at him, a smile playing at their lips. Aubrey with her chin resting on her arms, a sparkle in her eye. Cap gave them an exasperated look as he brought the gear over to the car and opened the driver's door, handing the stuff to Falcon before sliding in.
"Wait just a minute, where do we put this?" Falcon was able to put his wing pack by his feet but the shield was too big.
"On your lap?" Cap shot back as he started driving.
Bucky chuckled darkly, murmuring "Jetzt bekommt er einen Vorgeschmack auf seine eigene Medizin" [Now he gets a taste of his own medicine]
She grinned "Es ist seine Schuld für die Wahl eines solchen Kleinwagens" [It's his fault for choosing such a small car]
"If you're going to have a conversation about me at least do it in English" Falcon snapped, craning his neck around to give the two of them a death glare.
"Sam-" Cap started
"No-" Falcon turned his glare towards the driver "-Not you too. I happen to think that if the two highly trained assassins in the car are talking in another language about the other two people, they deserve to know."
"I don't think it's anything bad-" He looked into the rearview mirror "-right guys?"
"No" Aubrey shook her head as she sat on her leg, foot resting against Bucky's leg.
"We have another hour and a half before we get to the airport, possibly longer if we stop" he continued
Her stomach chose that moment to rumble hungrily and Aubrey felt her face tinge red as she leaned against the window. Watching as the scenery sped by. Several minutes later she felt herself start to nod off. But the window was uncomfortable so she leaned her head back onto the headrest, knowing that the chance of sleep would be slim for the next couple of days.
The next thing she knew, the car was coming to a rumbling stop. Aubrey's head shot up, off of Bucky's shoulder, where it had fallen. She became instantly awake, eyes darting to Bucky's face. He met her eyes for a moment before looking away, something flashing in them.
A run-down gas station sat in front of them, Schnelle Shop [Fast Shop] it read.
"I'm assuming, because I'm not the only one here as a wanted fugitive, I'm going in?" Aubrey unbuckled her seat belt when Cap nodded and pulled the remainder of her Romanian Leu out. "All I have is Romanian Leu" she pushed the door open, surprised when Cap pulled twenty U.S dollars out of his pocket, handing it to her. She took it before heading inside. A teenager with a bored look on her face greeted Aubrey dully. But when the girl gave her another look, her eyebrows rose. Probably noting the large scab on her forehead and the way she moved, with precision and grace. It didn't take long for Aubrey to grab fifteen granola bars, two large bags of chips, and several water bottles. The teen eyed her suspiciously as she rang up the items
"Are you...tourist?" the girl said in broken English, curiosity shining in her eyes.
"I am" Aubrey smiled sweetly at the girl, noticing how she had slowed her check-out rate
"Who..are you with? Where….did the…the..-" the girl paused, pointing to the spot on her forehead where Aubrey's scabs were.
"I'm here with my friends...Besuch der wunderschönen Landschaft-" [Visiting the beautiful scenery] she switched to German when the girl gave her a confused look. "-Der Kratzer ist von mir ungeschickt" [The scratch is from me being clumsy]
"wo haben Sie Deutsch gelernt?" [Where did you learn German?] the girl asked as Aubrey handed over the money to pay and silently wished the girl would hurry.
"In der Schule" [In school] taking the change and grabbing the bags, Aubrey took a step back "Einen schönen Tag noch" [Have a good day] she finished, pushing out the door and back into the cramped car. She handed half of the bars up front, along with one of the chip bags, and water. They fell into a food-induced silence as they ate through it. Aubrey finished her third granola bar before opening one of the chips.
The rest of the ride went by with only a few sarcastic remarks from Falcon whenever Bucky or Aubrey murmured something in German. Soon they pulled into the parking garage, winding up and around until they pulled into a spot by a nondescript white van. A parking spot sat between them, and as soon as they got out of the Beetle a man came around the van. Aubrey stood, glad to be out of the cramped vehicle as she watched Clint Barton shake hands with Cap. When the passenger door opened, a grin lit up both her and Wanda Maximoff's faces. Wanda stepped around Clint and pulled Aubrey into a hug, whispering
"Thank you, for your words."
"You're very welcome, it's what friends do" she smiled at Wanda as they stepped back, Cap talking
"How about our other recruit?"
"He's raring to go-" Clint pulled the rear passenger door "-had to put a little coffee in him"
Clearly not enough though because the man was sleeping on the seats but he startled awake as Clint finished "He should be good"
Falcon stepped forward and Aubrey guessed that he was the one to recruit the sleepy person.
"What time zone is this?" were the man's first words as he stumbled out of the van but he straightened at the sight of Cap.
"Captain America!" he started, taking his hand and shaking it vigorously.
"Mr. Lang" Cap greeted and Aubrey smiled behind her hand, leaning against the slug bug as she watched the introduction take place.
"It's an honor!" Lang continued, still shaking Cap's hand. "-I'm shaking your hand too long...Wow, this is awesome!" he let go and stepped back. "Captain America-" he looked back at Clint "-I know you too, you're great!" He turned back around and puffed a breath, looking over Captain America again "Jeez...Look I wanna say I know you know a lot of super people so, thinks for thanking of me-" Lang's frantic energy was a lot to take in as he caught sight of Falcon "Hey man!"
"What's up tic tac?" Falcon looked like he couldn't tell whether he regretted calling Lang or not.
"Uh, good to see you, look what happened last time when I…."
But Falcon cut him off, Aubrey caught the slight shift in his body language and frowned slightly. He was most definitely hiding something. "It was a great audition but it'll-" he chuckled "-It'll never happen again"
"He tell you what we're up against?" Cap took back over the conversation.
"Something about some psycho-assassins?"
"We're outside the law on this one so if you come with us...You're a wanted man."
"Eh, what else is new?"
"We should get going" Bucky came over to stand beside Aubrey and she nodded
"Got a chopper lined up," Clint said as he reached into the van for his gear. Just as an alarm started to sound. Aubrey's mind translated it and she pushed off of the car
"They're evacuating the airport. Tony isn't going to let this go easily. If I know him, he'll bring everyone he can"
"Natürlich wird er" [Of course he will] Bucky growled in German
"Niemand hat gesagt, dass es einfach sein würde" [No one said this would be easy] She said as she clipped on the quiver of arrows, and cowl. Lang had gone around to the other side of the van as the hero's started suiting up. Her cowl strapped on and she braided her hair back, pushing down any mission flashbacks that tried to appear. Lang came back around the van in some sort of red and grey suit but he stopped at the sight of Aubrey.
"Wow you're a lot scarier now..with the..face thing and...yeah...who are you again?" he babbled on as Bucky came over, strapping his knives in place. Aubrey opened her mouth to say something but Lang continued "Wait he's dressed like you!"
"Yeah, we were trained very similarly" she didn't want to get into details as Cap called for their attention and they came up with a plan
