Hey y'all! Quick recap: last chapter we had the reception of Tatanga and Daisy as the royal couple for the first time, and we met the attendants that would prepare Daisy for her wedding. In this chapter we have a bit more of a filler chapter, and it is kinda long (sorry!) - just the attendants getting her ready and having some girl chats :) please leave a review and let me know your thoughts! I love hearing your opinions and input (and being validated LOL) and I hope you're enjoying the story so far!

Daisy walked hand in hand with Crisani down a hallway, Tuli & Fiorina on their heels. "How was your flight here, my dear?" Crisani asked her. Daisy blushed, images of her romp with Tatanga dancing across her mind. "Uh… it was good." She giggled nervously, trying to think of what to say next. Tuli and Fiorina exchanged a knowing smile. Crisani laughed - a tinkly sort of "heeheehee" laugh. "You'll have to tell us all about it while we get you all dressed up!" She stopped walking and turned towards an ornate set of ivory double doors on their right.

Tuli stepped forward and opened the doors, revealing what appeared to be a bedroom minus a bed; there instead stood a chaise longue and some ottomans. Daisy took in the rest of the room - a walk-in closet, a vanity table, an en suite bathroom with saloon doors, a desk with computer and potted flowers, and a large window with a small built in cushioned bench. Was this room for her? Wouldn't she be sharing a room with Tatanga, her husband to be?

Crisani seemed to read her thoughts. "This room is your space! Tatanga thought you might benefit from having a space to yourself for getting ready or working on your own projects. We worked with him to help design this room to your liking. We figured we'd do your wedding prep here since you have this beautiful vanity and bathroom at your disposal. Now, let's get started!"

Fiorina helped Daisy out of her dress and handed it to Tuli to hang up, then helped her into the satin robe. She gestured to the ottoman in front of the vanity which Daisy sat down on. Crisani pulled out a small checklist from her waist apron and Tuli went into the closet to fetch a hanger for the dress Daisy was wearing and a satin robe. "Alright, we'll get you into this robe and take off your makeup, do some skincare, get you in rollers, do your bridal makeup, and then we have some time for whatever other prep you feel necessary or that would make you comfortable. We've got wax, razors, moisturizers, nail polish, and a bunch of other fun stuff," she chirped excitedly. "And of course, this is your wedding day, so you get final say over the hair and makeup department." She pulled out some bridal magazines and a tablet open to the Google homepage. "You can browse through these and find some looks you like and we'll reproduce it on that lovely face of yours."

Daisy felt a smile grow across her face - to be honest, her wedding day in Sarasaland wouldn't have been as accommodating or personal, and she certainly wouldn't have been allowed to marry Luigi. Despite the Mushroom Kingdom's evident approval of Mario, who likely would be allowed to marry Peach when the day came, Luigi did not have the same heroic report card that could transcend his non-royal status, and Sarasaland had a less progressive approach to the way things were run. And of course, as the princess and not queen, she had little to no influence on input on legislation, but in her marriage to Tatanga, she would be a queen who ruled Sarasaland AND his planetary Kingdom.

Fiorina took a makeup wipe to Daisy's eyes - thankfully she only did some simple eyeliner and mascara, as was customary for most royal events she had attended, so it was a quick removal. "Here, hon - those wipes are drying, you're gonna want this!" Fiorina handed her a small tub of moisturizer, which she opened and administered. Crisani got to work brushing her hair while Tuli plugged in the rollers.

There was a knock at the door, which Tuli attended. She opened the door a crack, and exchanged some words with someone outside. "Okay, one second guys." She turned towards Daisy and the other attendants. Hey, we've got some guys here that are moving some items into the room here, some things from the Sarasaland palace that belong to you, Daisy. Is it okay if they come in and drop them off?"

"Yes, that's fine!" Daisy replied. Tuli opened the door and let two aliens in, one carrying boxes and one carrying the rest of garments from the ship as well as some of her dresses from Sarasaland. They deposited them in the walk-in closet and left. One turned back around to address the group: "Thanks ladies! We'll wait a few hours before bringing anymore belongings in here so we won't interrupt again. Have a good day!" He turned to Tuuli and gave her a quick peck, then left and closed the door behind him.

Daisy couldn't help but think about how accommodating Tatanga and his subjects were. First, Tatanga had taken the time to have garments made for her and created a room for her to have space to work and spend time, then his attendants let her customize her wedding look, and he had some of her belongings from home delivered to her new space? As much as his romantic interest in her the first time around had seemed like an act, now it seemed quite sincere.

Crisani started to put the rollers in her hair while Tuli and Fiorina sat on nearby ottomans. "So Daisy… what was your trip back here to Gulabahaar like?" Tuli grinned devilishly at her. Crisani looked at her sharply. "Tuli! Don't pry, she'll tell us if she wants to!"

Daisy laughed at their exchange. "It's alright, I'm okay talking about it. You ladies seem trustworthy, and it sounds like Tuli would really enjoy it." She recounted her evening with Tatanga (omitting the details of the serum) while Crisani finished up her hair and handed her a magazine to pick her makeup look. She flicked through until she found one she liked, and Crisani got to work while she detailed how big he was, how he catered to her EVERY need sexually and how he pleased her in ways no one had ever even come close to. Tuli was on the edge of her seat, face lit up. By the time she finished, her makeup was completed. "Wow," Tuuli gushed. "You sure are lucky! Hope you guys saved some things for your wedding night tonight," she said with a giggle. "Oh, I have no doubt we'll have plenty more to explore," Daisy mused.

"Alright hon, makeup is done and rollers are setting! Did you need a shave or wax or anything?" Crisani asked her. "Actually, I shaved this morning in the shower on Tatanga's ship. But I wouldn't mind painting my nails." She looked down at her bare toes and fingers and gave them a little wiggle. "That's perfect! We can do your toes while you pick a hairstyle out of the magazines." The ladies continued to all chat together while their prep continued.

Once her nails were dry and her hair was styled, Fiorina went into the walk-in to get a small platform for Daisy to step on while they got her into her dress. "Can I get the dress please pleeeaasee!" Tuli bounced on her ottoman with her hands clasped, looking at Crisani. She laughed and nodded. "Yes, you can. Just make sure the train doesn't drag on the floor!" Tuli pranced off into the walk-in to grab it. Crisani led Daisy up onto the platform, facing her away from the vanity mirrors. Tuli brought the dress over, removed it from the hanger and unzipped it, and Fiorina helped her bring it over to Daisy. Crisani helped her step into it and Fiorina and Tuli pulled it up. Crisani grabbed some white heels and helped her step into them while Fiorina zipped her up. Tuli grabbed a veil and a jewelry box from the walk in closet and carried them out, allowing Daisy to pick a few pieces. She handed the veil to Fiorina to put on Daisy.

The three attendants crowded around so they could see her. "Wow," they all breathed simultaneously. "Go ahead, hon, turn around and see for yourself!" Crisani picked up her train so that she could turn around to face the vanity. Daisy gasped at the beautiful bride she saw staring back at her. She looked exactly how she would want to look on her wedding day - not that she had planned it much, but if she had, this would have been her look. Crisani squeezed her hand. "Come on hon, it's time for us to head down!"
