Kuoh Academy. Originally an all-girls private school but has then been changed into a co-ed school. There's 3 divisions in the Kuoh Academy: Primary Division, High School Division College Division.
At the High School Division, in the 3rd Year Classroom where students were returning to their seats after seeing their home teacher entering the class. "Alright everyone, we have two new students joining us in this semester. I hope that you all will get along with them." The class replied enthusiastically as they were all wondering who would be joining them. While the males were blatantly praying for a beautiful lady much to the females' disgust, the opposite gender were hoping to meet a prince of their class.
"Alright, that's enough you all. Quiet down now. Could you two please enter the class and introduce yourself?"
On teacher's signal, both Issei and Gabriel entered the classroom. One second. Only a second passed and the room just went dead silence. Because the instant everyone saw the appearance of the goddess entering their classroom, they were all captivated by her otherworldly beauty and body figure.
"Hello, everyone. It's nice to meet you all. My name is Gabriel."
The young lady was the first to introduce herself to her classmates with a sincere smile and a light wave. The silence immediately died as the boys abruptly let out both cheers and cries of joy as they proceeded to profusely thank the God for sending someone so heavenly to their class.
On the other hand, the girls screamed and shrieked happily for the presence of the goddess before them. It was also at that very moment, that all the girls in the room vowed to protect their goddess from the remaining accursed, hungry wolves.
Minutes passed as all eyes rested on the toned built young man with black hair. He gave off a delinquent vibe as he's wearing a black t-shirt under his open dress shirt and blazer. The boys found him irritating because he was standing beside their goddess while the girls thought that his bad boy-ish look wasn't that bad.
"Yo, Hyoudou Issei here. But ya may call me Ise for short. Please to meet ya all."
His laid back attitude lessened the tenseness of the room until one of the boys asked a question.
"G-Gabriel-san, did you meet Hyoudou-san at the hallway by chance or do you two actually know each other?" The young lady used her finger to tap her chin a few times as she decided how she should answer the question. Then, she phrased the words wrongly and dropped the bombshell without even knowing the chaos she's about to unleash. "I've known and been with Ise for a long time." Her honest yet blunt answer froze the male students for several seconds. Next to her, Issei couldn't help but facepalmed because he knew what's about to happen.
And he's right.
The boys cried and lashed out at him for 'defiling' their goddess. Ise eyed at Gabriel for some time before decided to mentally point out her mistake, "Gab. They think we're dating. This is the first day of our high school. I don't need this much attention." The lady widened her eyes in realisation to what she had done so she quickly rectified it. "Oh, I'm sorry for the confusion I've made. Ise and I aren't dating–" The boys sighed in relief after hearing that, but she didn't end there. Instead, she went on, "–but I've promised to him that I will always stay by his side. So wherever Ise goes, I'll go." That additional innocent bomb sent the males to cry in despair while the females all blushed and fantasied at her bold claim of commitment.
"Where are you from, Gabriel-san?"
"I like your hair, Gabriel-san. Are they natural?"
"G-G-Gabriel-san! Is alright if I call you Gabriel-sama?!"
"Gabriel-san! P-P-P-Please go out with m–mhh!?"
Break time came the goddess was swarmed by her new classmates who were constantly bombarding her with different questions. Some guy even tried to confess to her only for him to be silenced and dragged out of the classroom by the several girls. While she was doing her best to answer every logical questions, she noticed from her peripheral vision that Ise was exiting the classroom with his lunchbox on his hand.
Gabriel quickly excused herself form the group, took her lunch with her and ambled to his side. "What are you doing?" He questioned her action after sensing jealousies and envies were coming from the guys while the girls were eyeing them with curiosities in the room. "Wherever you're going, I'm coming with you." She reinstated her previous statement with a small upward curve on her lips. "...Alright then."
Done with their lunch, the pair relaxed under a tree and watched a situation unfolded before them in great fascination. A dozen girls wielding bamboo swords were chasing after two male students who were desperately crying for help. Even from afar, Issei could recognise the two males who were the school's famous Perverted Duo, Matsuda Motohama. Then, a flash of devilish grin came across Issei when a brilliant idea came to him. While his hands were resting on his knees, the young man lift of his left index finger a teeny bit.
A nearby pebble promptly shot forth, hitting Matsuda by his ankle. It caused the pervert to lose his balance and tripped onto his partner in crime. The duo's tumble gave the girls the opportunity to catch up up them
Issei cackled as he watches the perverted duos squealed when the girls started beating the perverts up with their bamboo swords. Gabriel sighed and gazed at him disapprovingly on his little prank. "Ise, you're enjoying this way too much."
"Oh relax, Gab. you know who I am. Punishing the sinful ones is my expertise. After all, I am the Devil." He whispered the last part and gave her a playful wink to which she replied by lightly slapping to his shoulder.
As he lied down and rested his head on the lady's laps, Gabriel went ahead and leisurely played with his hair. Ruffling them. Twirling them. Braiding them.
"You know she's watching us, right?"
"Mhm. I don't care. Let her watch as much as she wants."
"You're really shameless. You know that?"
"Oh please. I know I've grown on you."
Issei scrunched his nose when Gabriel airily flicked his head "Truly, your pompousness has no bounds." The latter one chided.
While the Issei and Gabriel were in their own little world, a petite little girl with white and hazel eyes was observing the two of them. The girl had black cat-shaped hair pins on both side of her short bob cut.
In Issei's opinion, their first day of high school at Kuoh Academy wasn't that bad. In fact, he enjoyed it. The duo enjoyed their quiet stroll back to home when something caused the male to stop dead on his tracks.
"...Gabriel."
The lady said nothing to the his changed tone but merely nodded her head. They then vanished without anyone noticing.
In an abandoned mansion "S-S-Somebody help me! A man yelled just as he fell flat on his butt. "But I thought you said you'll give me some fun?" The man shuddered as the seductive purr chillingly crept into his ears.
"P-P-Please...D-Don't do this! I-I'm begging you!" He wormed back in horror when a young lady revealed herself from the dark room. Naturally speaking, a man's groin would instinctively hardened when he sees a naked lady. However, that rule of nature did not apply in this man's case. Instead, he quivered in fear before lady's nude upper body. "But don't you love me?" She pressed on. "Like you said...I too wish to eat you up."
The man cried as he saw the wom– No. The thing stepped out from the shadow. Because she had a lower body of a four-legged beast and a tail of a serpent. "N-No...P-P-P-Please..." He dreadfully watched as creature's facial and body structure changed. While long fangs grew and protruded from her mouth, the beast utilised her hind legs to loom over the man. What happened next caused the male to lose all little hope he had left. The lower body's midriff vertically split opened and revealed a column of gnashing.
"Father, mother...I'm sorry, but it seems I won't be coming home to visit you guys..." He let out a pitiful laugh as tears ran down his cheeks. "God...If you can hear my prayer...Please me save from this nightmare..." Accepting his death, he shut his eyes and prayed for it to be a quick death.
10 seconds went by and nothing happened. Confused, the man decided to take a peek with an eye. Standing between him and the monster was high school boy who's eyeing the beast with a smirk on his face.
"O-Oi, kid! What are you doing here?! Run! Get out of here!" He yelled in distress. "Shhh. It's alright. Everything will be fine now." The adult flicked his head to his side when he heard another feminine voice coming from his right. Unlike the beast's voice, this sound actually calmed his angst. His cheeks immediately flushed in red-pink when he saw the voice belonged to a beautiful goddess.
"A-Are you an angel?" He couldn't help but involuntarily blurted it. The young lady giggled and comforted him by resting her hand on his shoulder. "Maybe. Now close your eyes. You are safe from this nightmare." He didn't know why, but he immediately trusted this stranger. Her angelic voice was really soothing and it's making his eyelids heavy. A mere second passed and he fell asleep
"Interesting. I can sense demonic energy coming from you." He studied the beast intently and sauntered towards it without a hint of fear. "And yet, you're not a Pure Devil." Issei spoke in amusement as he sensed something demonic was emitting from her inner chest. "There's something inside you. Something that made you a devil."
Up until now, the beast never made a single move on him. She merely stood there in silence. Trembling. Why? Because every single cell in her body's telling her to RUN. But she couldn't move. Not one bit. Finally, she mustered enough strength to move those trembling lips of hers. "W-Who...are you...?" He smiled devilishly and brushed it to a side. "Who am I isn't important. But you have something interesting in you. I want it."
The creature didn't get her second words out when his grey eyes abruptly glinted in crimson-red. She felt a swift tug on her chest, and her world immediately went dark. The young man ignored the fall of the beast and studied the item that's resting on his hand. "Pawn? That's what's inside of her? A chess piece?" He stared at the piece for quite some time before tossing it to Gabriel to let her study it.
"What do you think?" He asked. "Mm...Perhaps the Devils found a different method to replenish their numbers after the Great War?" Issei agreed to her speculation. But with no one confirming it for them, it's nothing but a theory. However, the young man was confident that someone will affirmed it for him on the following day. "Anyway, I'm starving. Shall we head home, Gabriel?" With a flick of his finger, the body of the deceased monster was eradicated from its spot.
Before leaving, he noticed the lady has her attention set on the sleeping adult. "Don't worry about him. In a few minutes time, he'll wake up and think it's nothing but a vague little nightmare." He patted her back a few times and exited the mansion.
Not long after Issei and Gabriel teleported away, the sound of several footsteps entering the abandoned room was heard. Those steps belonged to four students who wore the similar Kuoh Academy uniform as the duo.
The first person to enter the room was a buxom young woman in her late teens with long crimson hair and blue-green eyes. Following close beside her was an alluring lady around her age with very long black hair that's tied in long ponytail by an orange ribbon and violet eyes. Like the crimson-haired lady, she too possessed a curvaceous body.
Behind them was a handsome young man with short blonde hair, grey eyes and a distinct mole under the left one. The last one was the very same petite little girl who was observing Issei and Gabriel during their lunch break.
"That's odd. The Stray Devil should be here, but I don't see or sense it at all." The crimson-haired teen rose an eyebrow.
"...Buchou." The lady's eyes drifted towards the direction where the little girl was pointing at. An unconscious man lying on the floor. "Ara ara. At least he's alive." The ponytail lady stated it after checking his pulse.
Then, a small magic circle appeared next to the crimson girl's ear. "Eh? Viser is dead?" Her announcement surprised everyone in the room. "...Very well." With that, the end call left her and her group quite puzzled.
Someone got here before them, dealt with the stray devil and saved the man. The main question still remained. Who could've done such a thing?
"...Buchou, do you think it's possible that it could be the new students who's enrolled in our school?" The young man asked.
"Hyoudou Issei and Gabriel, right?" The young man confirmed with a nod. A fleeting silence came by before the crimson girl finally made up her decision. "I'll contact Sona as soon as we head back. I'm sure she's interested in acquainting with our fellow schoolmates." She then turned to her black-haired friend, "Akeno, I want you to go and invite Hyoudou Issei and Gabriel to the Occult Research Club right after the school ended. If Sona's joining us, she'll definitely send Tsubaki to help you." The young lady smiled and accepted her task, "Hai, Buchou."
