This is not a new chapter, but it will take time.
Yesterday, late in the night, our very own Carlos de Vil, Cameron Boyce, passed away in his sleep because of a seizure from an ongoing medical problem.
To die so young is heartbreaking; even more so to find out in the news. And to all his friends and family who loved him so much are saddened to hear of his passing.
Some people will be torn to watch Descendants 3, coming out on August 2, as it was his last project in his title role of "Carlos de Vil." However, we will give thanks to the beautiful memory that he gave us: to smile, laugh, and - most importantly - to dream of something better and to live life as best as we can.
I say this with all the respect and love that Cameron Boyce, his family, and the entire cast and crew of Disney's Descendants, he will be sorely missed by all of us, and hope he found peace.
Rest in Peace Cameron Boyce. Gone but never forgotten.
