USPW Shotgun Saturday Night Episode 1

Venue: John M. Parker Agricultural Coliseum

Date: April 4th, 2020

State/City: Baton Rogue, Louisiana

Commentary Team: Russ Markley and Joey Styles

Match One: The Voros Twins (Chris and Patrick Voros) and The Inner City Saint Squad (Jordan Saint and Michael Richards) vs. USPW No Limits Champion Sonny Kiss, Brandon Cutler, ROTHChester, and USPW European Champion Will Ralston

The Match: (Chris and Will started the match as Will got Chris pinned with some MMA offense and a variety of leglocks with emphasis on destroying the right leg. Will tagged ROTH in as ROTH hit a Slingshot Leg Drop for a two count. Chris got back his momentum hammering the back of his opponent as he tags his brother in to which they connected with a Double Suplex on the fireworks enthusiast. Jordan would get some shots in later and Sonny had enough tagging himself in hitting Dropkicks on Jordan and a Bodysalm followed by his Spilt Leg Drop. Cutler got his shot taking on Jordan and got a Scoop Slam for a near fall before Jordan hit a Japanese Arm Drag for a counter tagging in Michael, who hit a Springboard Code Blue. Cutler got decimated isolated from his teammates as the Voros Twins hit a Leg Trap/Running Bulldog combo for a near fall. They tried for a Double Splash, but Sonny speared Chris out of the air. Cutler then caught Patrick as he hit T.P.K for the win.)

Winners: Brandon Cutler, Sonny Kiss, Will Ralston, and ROTHChester (12:15)

A promo played replaying Grim and his GTS Roster on Monday Night Firestorm for the first time and their first encounter with Ryan Lewis.

Match Two: Rey Fenix w/ Pentagon Jr. vs. PJ Black

The Match: (A nice bit of Phoenix Rising action on the first episode as both men remain equal throughout the bout with Black getting most of the offense, but Fenix getting counters when needed. The match ends with a 450 Splash from Black for the win.)

Winner: PJ Black (6:30)

A promo package played showcasing Adam Brooks cutting a promo from his home country, Australia, announcing his participation in USPW's UK tournament.

Match Three: Dalton Castle w/ The Boys vs. Ricky Morton w/ Robert Gibson

The Match: (The flamboyant peacock after his second loss for the world title gets a downgraded opponent in the version of one-half of the Rock n' Roll Express as Castle takes out his aggravation on the old timer stomping him down and hitting him hard. Morton uses some Flying Clotheslines to get momentum back and even locks in the Figure-Four Leg Lock until the Boys pulled their leader out of the ring. Gibson came ringside and started waving the Boys off, but Castle struck Gibson getting a Suicide Dive from an angry Ricky. Dalton would come back with an Alabama Slam and lock in the Calf Crusher making Morton tap out. After the match, Dalton called out those that thought they were better and specifically eyed MJF, who believes everyone is beneath him and that he thinks he's some sort of elitist. There's only one star who has risen through the ranks and looked fabulous doing it which is something MJF could never understand, because he's so insecure with his words. Dalton just wrestles.)

Winner: Dalton Castle via submission (8:56)

A promo package is shown replaying Preston's first promo after turning on the Bloodline to promote the Boiler Room Brawl on Monday.

Match Four: "Platinum" Max Caster and Bobby Orlando vs. Nightmare in Pound City (CJ Meade and Tyler Click) w/ "Nightmare" Zach Craft

Match Six: "The Witch" Sara Lewis vs. Megan Cross (local wrestler)

The Match: (Sara dominates Megan in this match using supernatural abilities to put her opponent on edge and finishes it with the Witchblade for the victory.)

Winner: "The Witch" Sara Lewis (2:15)

He ends the video package saying "I'm hoping for a fun showcase with my fellow Englishmen. Have a wonderful day!"

Match Seven: Rhino w/ Sabu vs. T-Hawk w/ El Lindaman

The Matxh: (Following their extreme clash at the largest waterfall, T-Hawk wanted a shot at the man who put down their leader. Suffice to say, Rhino batters the little man around and finished the match with a Gore in a record time of 30 seconds.)

Winner: Rhino (0:30)

A promo package explained by the commentators showed what was coming up on Monday Night Firestorm.

Main Event: The Honky Tonk Man w/ Jimmy Hart vs. Johnny Clash

The Match: (The old veteran tried giving the young star some advice before the match, but Johnny shoved the mic in his face and started pounding on the Honky Tonk Man. Clash used high-flying moves like Flying Clothesline, Tornado DDT, Hurricarana, and Flying Crossbody to slow down the legend, but Hart got on the apron using old school manager tactics. This allowed HTM to strike while he had the chance and he hit Scoop Slams and Powerslams. He got Clash in the corner kicking him down and even hit a Corner Knee Strike to the face. He tried for the Shake, Rattle, and Roll, but Clash reversed it into a Ripcord Knee Strike and hit a Package Piledriver DDT. Clash hit a Stanton Bomb and gets the victory.)

Winner: Johnny Clash (5:23)
