It happened, Mello called Matt and used Near to get information. The other two of my group had found me and explained their plan in New also told me it was Light that helped them find out this possibility. At first I was shocked that Light helped them, but then realized that I was a threat to him. As long as Light wasn't told how it would end, we still had a chance to beet him as Kira. They never found Mello to tell this crazy plan by Kira.
I knew he'd try to send me back if he thought there was a way. Matt could take care of him when I was gone. It wasn't like we had no feelings for each other as we'd kiss when we had a second to spare in the day. He was just worried about me and what would happen to my family if I stayed. I wanted to take him with me. There were risks to it but for me it would have been worth it.
Matt and Mello watched and bugged Misa who had shown signs of a bit of intelligence that was not expected. It made sense that she could do some plans smartly but it couldn't be over elaborate or could not be a logic game. When they talked about a bomb threat, she played them for a fool pretending to be the bimbo falling for the lie about a bomb. It was clear Misa was no longer actually second Kira. Still she was a good source of information as she still had memories of Light and L. For Mello it was sparingly stuff he did not know but even he had grimace at her torture treatment.
Then it happened. We had to go to Japan. He got all he could from Misa and California. I liked Japan and was hoping to make a life there with him. The idea of us surviving and walking under the falling cherry blossoms like a normal couple crossed my mind. I would miss my friends but a life with Mello was worth it.. If I was lucky, I could change Matt's fate too. The two were best friends and losing Matt would make a bitter taste about winning.
I let them handle all the travel plans because I had no idea what Matt planned to do with the vehicles. Mello called my cell sometimes asking what I did with some of the things like the money he had while he was in my care. I told what I knew but some accounts and money was missing so I had to suspect Near or someone had stole the money. We had way less than before. Also Near would not have had all that money dropped unless he had money somewhere else. I soon got a call from Mello and was told to go to Japan first and find a place for him and Matt. That surprised me but I was fine with the assignment and one way ticket.
I let my friends know that I was going to be coming to Japan and that Mello would be following after. I was going to crash with them until I found a nice house to live in. I was hoping I did not make a mistake telling them that. I had to walk or rely on them for transportation as public was too risky. I couldn't wait until Kira was gone so I could get my licence. As I was on the plane I let my daydreams become actual dreams.
