Three days later.
'' B come on, the play starts in an hour!'' Holly yells as she grabs the diaper bag, Brittany puts on her sneakers and jogs down the stairs.
'' Chill mom, we will be on time.'' She kisses Holly on the cheek and she puts Henry in his carrier and puts a blanket over him, she puts on his Dino cap and smiles as he looks up at her with his bright blue eyes.
She kisses him on his nose and chuckles as he giggles, she takes her leather jacket from the chair and grabs her sport bag, she takes her son in her other hand and turns to Holly. '' We are ready.''
Holly chuckles and opens the door for her, Brittany quickly walks out and drops her sport bag next to Holly's car. She opens the car door and puts her son in the car, after buckling him in and making sure the carrier doesn't move.
She grabs her sport bag and places it behind the passenger seat, she closes the door and sits down in the passengers seat. Holly starts the car after Brittany put on her seat belt and turns on the radio, Brittany lays her head against the headrest and closes her eyes.
After ten minutes Holly parks her car and chuckles as she sees Quinn opening Henry's door and taking him out of the car, Brittany looks at her and chuckles. '' Hello to you too Q.''
Holly and Britt both step out of the car and Britt takes Beth from Santana, she looks down at her and smiles. '' Hey princess.''
She smiles as Beth gurgles and places a kiss on her nose, Santana takes Beth again and Puck takes Henry. Holly places a kiss on Britt's head and pushes her bag in her hands. '' Girls go inside, Puck, Santana and I will search for seats.''
Quinn nods her head and pecks Puck on his lips, Puck and Santana both hug Brittany and wish them luck. Quinn and Brittany both jog into the school and run down the halls to the changing rooms, they both walk in and quickly change in their uniforms.
Sue walks in shortly after and smile as her team immediately sit down, she stops in front of them and smiles. '' Alright team we finally play against Camel High after two weeks delay, we trained enough and we will show them that this team can beat them!''
She smiles as the team cheers and holds up her hand. '' Alright I want Brittany, Quinn, Lauren, Tina, Rachel, Marley, Kitty, Mercedes, Sunshine, Aileen and Sugar in our start elf.''
She looks at Quinn as she raises her hand and nods, Quinn smiles and looks at her. '' Coach what happened to Dani?''
Sue smiles and shrugs. '' She got suspended for the rest of the week and I suspended her two weeks for playing and training with us.''
Quinn nods her head and stands up, she turns to the team and smiles. '' Alright girls we will play in the 4-4-2 formation and try to kick the ball forward at all times!''
She turns to Lauren and smiles. '' Lauren try to stay in the goal, I know Brittany helped a lot during training but this match will be hell.''
Sue nods her head and sighs. '' We always lost from Camel High, I hope today with this team we will win!''
Quinn smiles and looks at the girls. '' Brittany showed us what she can do during the training and we all play well with her.''
The girls all nod their heads in agreement and Mercedes puts her hand on Brittany's shoulder. ''Girl when we win this match, it will be because of your input.''
Rachel nods her head and smiles. '' You and Quinn are playing together like you did it for years already, we will win this!''
Sue smiles and claps in her hand. '' Alright go outside and warm up! Five rounds and after that some passes between all of you and shots towards Lauren!''
The girls nod their heads and jump up, Quinn jogs in front of them and out onto the field. She pulls Brittany next to her and smirks. '' During games you can jog next to me too B.''
Britt chuckles and shrugs. '' You are the captain Q.''
Quinn shrugs her shoulders and smiles. '' Yeah but you are the reason this team finally functions together, you brought new life to our training.''
Brittany smiles and follows Quinn onto the field after running five rounds, Brittany runs to the ball lying on the field and passes it to Tina.
Tina immediately passes it to Quinn and smiles as she sees Quinn stepping over the ball and Brittany kicking it to Lauren, Lauren dives to the ball and pushes it out of the goal.
Brittany looks at her and holds her thumbs up, Lauren chuckles and catches the ball Rachel kicks towards her.
After passing the ball around for ten minutes, Sue calls them over and looks at them. '' Alright girls it's time, enjoy this game and show Camel High why we share the first second on the ranking table with them!''
Quinn nods her head in agreement and pushes her hand in the middle. '' Hands in!''
Everyone put their hand on hers and Quinn smiles. '' 3.2.1''
'' Go team!'' They simultaneously yell, Quinn nods her head and puts the captain band on her arm. She walks to the referees and shakes their hands, after shaking heads with the captain of Camel high the referee flips a coin and tells Camel high they can pick a side.
After Camel high picked their half Quinn looks at her team and nods, the girls run out onto the field and take position. Brittany watches as Camel highs take the kick off and jogs towards the player with the ball, she sees him making a long pass and runs intercepting the pass.
She sees Quinn running passed her on the sideline and passes the ball to her, Quinn sees Brittany and Tina run into the penalty area and passes the ball high to Brittany. Brittany slides to reach the ball and groans as the keeper easily catches the ball, she jumps back up and runs back.
She speeds up as she sees a midfielder running over the sideline with the ball and runs into their penalty area as she sees him passing the ball high to their striker, she runs to him and jumps in the air heading the ball out of the penalty area.
She turns around and sees Kitty passing the ball to Tina, Tina passes the ball to Quinn and groans as she sees three defenders running after her. Quinn looks behind her as she sees her nearing the fourth defender and sees Brittany sprinting towards her, she passes the ball through the defenders legs and sees Brittany sprinting passed him and stepping over the ball back heel passing the ball to Tina.
Tina kicks the ball towards the goal and groans as the keeper jumps for the ball and push it over the goal, Brittany jogs to her and smiles. '' That was good T.''
With Holly, Puck and Santana.
Holly groans as she sees the ball fly over the goal and groans. '' Damn this game isn't good for our nerves.''
Puck nods his head in agreement and chuckles. '' Yeah but they are dominating Camel High, I didn't even know Britt can run that fast.''
Holly smiles proudly and watches Britt sprint back to their half after Camel High intercepted the ball after the corner kick, she turns to the two teenagers next to her and chuckles. '' Britt played a lot of sports when she was little, she likes running and free running but stopped with it after she gave birth.''
Santana smiles impressed and looks back at the game, she groans as Camel High scores a goal and celebrate. She turns to Holly and sighs. '' The first half is almost over.''
Back at the game.
Britt runs her hand over her face and looks at Quinn. '' We need to run forward.''
Quinn nods her head in agreement and glances at the team signing them to run forward after the kick off, after the referee blows his whistle Quinn passes the ball to Britt and sees her immediately passing the ball too Marley.
Marley passes the ball to Kitty and sees her passing the ball to Tina, Tina sees Quinn running over the sideline and passes the ball to her. Quinn takes the ball on her foot and passes the ball high towards Brittany, she sees Brittany getting ready to kick the ball and winces as a defender brings her down with a sliding.
She and Tina run to Brittany as soon as the referee blows his whistle and crouch down next to her. '' You alright B?''
Brittany looks at them and slowly sits up nodding her head, Quinn looks up and sees the referee holding up a yellow card and pointing to the spot for a free kick. '' You want to take the kick?''
Brittany shakes her head and smiles. '' No you have to take it Q.''
Quinn nods her head and stands back up, She and Tina help Britt stand up and Quinn takes the ball from the referee. She places the ball on the spot the referee points at and takes a few steps back, Brittany stands a little bit behind Quinn and watches her prepare herself for the kick.
As soon as the referee blows the whistle Quinn runs towards the ball and kicks it in the far right corner, she groans as one of the defenders heads the ball away and watches the ball fly high and out of the penalty area.
She sees Tina running towards the ball and runs into the penalty area, Tina lobs the ball into the penalty area holds her breath. Brittany sees the ball flying towards her and kicks the ball towards the goal with a scissor kick, she jumps up as the ball flies passed the keeper and runs to Tina.
She tackles Tina in a hug and smiles as the rest of the team joins them, Quinn looks at them and smiles. '' That was awesome girls!''
After celebrating the girls run back to their half and watch Camel High kick off, the referee immediately blows his whistle and Brittany follows the team into their changing roam. She sits down after grabbing a bottle of water and opens the bottle, Sue walks in with a big smile and looks at her team.
'' Girls that was a great first half! Everyone sat on the edge of their chairs and held their breaths the last few seconds.''
She locks eyes with Brittany and smiles. '' Brittany I hope someone filmed your goal, that scissor kick surprised all of us!''
Brittany chuckles and wraps an arm around Tina's shoulders. '' That was only possible after Tina's perfect pass coach.''
Sue nods her head in agreement and smiles. '' If we continue like this we will hold our points, a win will be perfect but a tie is good too.''
After talking for another ten minutes and drinking water, the girls walk back onto the field and take their positions. The referee hands Quinn the ball and Quinn puts it down, she passes the ball to Brittany and watches her pass it to Mercedes.
Mercedes passes the ball to Aileen and watches her pass it to Kitty, Kitty passes the ball to Marley and groans as the striker intercepts it. She sees her pass the ball to a midfielder and runs to her, she groans as the midfielder passes the ball through her legs and quickly turns around.
Brittany sees the striker run into the penalty area and sprints towards her, she sees Quinn following the second striker over the sideline and sees her passing the ball before Quinn reaches her.
Lauren jumps forward and hits the ball away with her fist, Brittany sees a midfielder kicking the ball towards the goal and runs to it. She jumps forward and heads the ball out of the goal, she jumps back up as she sees Kitty with the ball and runs forward with Quinn.
Kitty sees Brittany speed up and passes the ball towards her, Brittany runs passed a defender with the ball and sees Quinn running passed her and into the penalty area.
She passes the ball a little bit in front of her and jumps over a defenders leg, she looks at the keeper and fakes a shot. She quickly passes the ball to Quinn as she sees a bigger gap and smirks as she scores, Quinn turns around after scoring and runs to Brittany.
Brittany catches her as she jumps in her arms and chuckles as the team surround them, Quinn looks down at her and chuckles. '' Damn B that was amazing.''
With Santana, Holly and Puck.
Santana looks at the game in shock and chuckles. '' Damn did B just trick the keeper?''
Puck chuckles and helps Henry and his daughter cheer for their mommy's. '' Yeah she did.''
Holly looks at her fiance and sees her smiling proudly. '' Sue looks like a proud mother down there.''
Back at the game.
After Camel High scored a goal Brittany looks at the team and shakes her head. '' Hey no upset faces! We still have eight minutes, lets show them what we can!''
Quinn nods her head and catches the ball Lauren throws at her, She places the ball down and passes to Brittany as soon as the referee blows his whistle.
Brittany passes the ball all the way back to Lauren and sees Tina, Quinn, Kitty and Marley run into the Camel High half. Lauren kicks the ball towards them and sees Marley taking the ball on her chest, Marley passes the ball to Tina and groans as a striker intercepts the ball.
Brittany sees Camel High do a fast counter and sprints after them, she sees Lauren come out of her goal as the striker enters the penalty area and speeds up. Just as she enters the penalty area she sees her lobbing the ball over Lauren and runs to the goal, she keeps the ball out of the goal with a bicycle kick and jumps up.
A midfielder takes the ball on her feet and shoots it towards the goal, Brittany shoulders the ball over the goal. She gives Lauren a high five and jogs out of the penalty area as Camel high take the corner kick, she watches them take the corner kick and smiles as Lauren easily catching the ball.
Lauren sees Brittany sprinting forward and kicks the ball towards her, Brittany sees the ball flying towards her and takes the ball on her feet. She lobs the ball over herself and the defender behind her and turns herself out of her arms, she runs to the ball and dribbles over the sideline.
She sees Kitty run into the penalty area and lobs the ball to her, Kitty heads the ball towards the goal and groans as she sees the keeper hitting the ball passed his goal. Quinn runs to grab the ball and looks at the time, she sees two more minutes on the clock and looks at Lauren after throwing the ball to Kitty.
She calls Lauren to them and sees everyone taking their positions, Kitty takes the corner kick and watches the ball fly into the penalty area. Quinn sees the ball fly towards her and jumps up, she groans as a defender jumps higher and sees him heading the ball to a striker.
Brittany sprints after the striker and sees him kicking the ball towards the goal, she speeds up and runs passed him. She reaches the ball before entering the penalty area and turns back around, she dribbles back and sees a striker running towards her.
She performs a rainbow kick and runs around him, she takes the ball on her chest and sees Quinn standing free on the right sideline. She passes the ball to Quinn and sees Kitty sprint to Tina into the penalty area, Quinn dribbles passed a defender and passes the ball into the penalty area.
Tina heads the ball towards the goal and groans as she sees the keeper hitting the ball away, Brittany runs towards the ball and kicks it towards the goal with all her strength. Kitty sees Brittany get tackled from behind after kicking the ball and runs towards her, she falls on her knees next to her and looks down.
'' Damn Britt, you okay?''
Brittany shakes her head and lay her head on the field taking a few deep breaths, the referee sees Camel High with the ball and blows his whistle. Sue sees Kitty turning to Beiste and sends her on the field, Beiste runs to Brittany and crouches down next to her.
'' Where does it hurt Brittany?''
Brittany sits up with a groan and points at her back, Quinn jogs to them and grabs a bottle of water out of Beiste's bag. She takes a few gulps and hands Brittany the bottle, Beiste looks at Brittany's back and sighs. '' Yeah that will bruise, does it hurt when you breath?''
Brittany shakes her head and takes a few sips of the water, Beiste grabs the ice spray out of her bag and pulls Brittany's jersey back down. '' This will be a little cold.''
Brittany nods her head and jumps slightly as she feels the cold coming through her jersey, Quinn looks at her and raises an eyebrow. '' Want to sit the last few minutes out?''
Brittany shakes her head and smirks. '' Nope my body will kill me tomorrow, but I want to take this free kick.''
Quinn nods her head and chuckles, she holds out her hand for Brittany and pulls her up as soon as she takes it. The referee walks back to them and raises an eyebrow. '' All good?''
Brittany nods her head and takes the ball Quinn hands her, she places the ball down and sees Quinn and Kitty jog into the penalty area. She sees the referee helping the wall take their position and waits till he whistles, Quinn turns to look at the time and see they added one minute overtime.
Brittany takes a few steps back as the blows his whistle and looks at the wall, she runs to the ball and curves it passed the wall. Quinn turns around as she sees the ball flying passed her and sees the keeper jumping towards the ball, Brittany turns around as she sees the goalkeeper missing the ball and runs to the bleaches as she hears their supporters cheering.
Quinn runs after Brittany and sees her sliding on her knees towards the bleachers, she follows her lead and wraps her arms around Brittany as soon as she is near her. The rest of the team follow her lead and tackle Brittany in a hug.
After celebrating their goal everyone takes their positions and Brittany runs to the striker as soon as she sees her having the ball, she takes the ball with a sliding and jumps up. Quinn sees Brittany sprinting over the sideline and quickly sprints towards the penalty area, Brittany passes the ball to her and slightly nods her head to the right signing her to do a back heel pass.
As soon as Brittany passed the ball she runs behind Quinn and sees her faking a shot and passing the ball behind her, Brittany runs to the ball and kicks it towards the goal.
The referee sees the ball flying passed the goalkeeper and blows his whistle signaling everyone that the game is over, Lauren runs towards her team and taps Mercedes on her shoulder. Mercedes turns her head to Lauren and nods her head as Lauren points to Brittany, they both jog to her and pick her up on their shoulders smiling as the team surround them and their supporters cheer louder.
Sue runs onto the field with the substitutes and joins her team, she looks up at Brittany and smiles proudly. After Lauren and Mercedes put Brittany down Quinn wraps her arm around Britt's waist and walks into the changing room with her.
Sue walks in after her team had enough time to shower and get dressed and chuckles as she sees them looking at her with big smiles, Sue smiles and nods her head. '' This match was amazing girls! We kicked Camel High of the first place!''
Quinn smiles as everyone cheers and nods her head in agreement. '' We showed them what we can, and our secret weapon scored a damn hat trick!''
Everyone chuckles as Quinn calls Brittany their secret weapon and nod their heads in agreement, Sue looks at Marley as she raises her hand and smiles. '' Yes Marley?''
Marley smiles shyly and looks at her. '' Coach you told us we can choose our team captain, but is it possible to have two?''
Sue raises an eyebrow and slowly nods her head. '' Yes that's possible, the second captain will get a Letterman jacket and red captain band why?.''
Marley smiles and glances at Brittany. '' I vote for Brittany as our second captain, we can play without her but she gives our team more chance.''
Mercedes nods her head in agreement and smiles. '' I vote for her too, hell we saw a scissor kick, bicycle kick and a rainbow kick today.''
Lauren chuckles and looks at Brittany. '' We also saw her playing goalkeeper and sprinting over the whole field.''
The team all nod their heads and Sue smiles. '' Who votes for her too?''
Brittany turns her head and sees everyone raising their hand, she shakes her head and chuckles. '' Thank you girls.''
Sue smiles and looks at them. '' Alright girls grab your bags, Figgins told me that the school is closed on Monday so we will see each other on Tuesday.''
The girls cheer again and quickly grabs their bags, Quinn and Brittany wait till everyone left and look at Sue. Brittany walks into her arms as she opens them and hugs Sue, Sue kisses her on the head and smiles.
'' You did good kid.'' She looks at Q and smiles. '' The both of you.''
