PLEASE READ AUTHOR'S NOTE BEFORE GOING ON
A.N. Okay before the the sneak peak a few things to get out of the way.
1. I have changed the name of the Imperium, it is now the Terran Star Imperium. I did not believe that my original name would cause so many issues with people so I have gone ahead and changed it, in this and previous chapters. (Yes I am aware of what UTI can stand fore) Note that I changed things as an act of good faith not out of peer pressure, and I will not be changing the name again.
2. Next the title of the sequel is in Latin as can be seen, it can be translated Resist and Bite. My latin is not great but am using it anyway, I decided to name it this after listening to my favorite band Sabaton (I highly recommend my readers to check them out, they are Swiss Power Metal and all their songs are on Military History)
3. I plan to work on the Fourth Faction for a little while before staring the sequel in earnist. This is because I am close to breaking the severe writer's block I was having for that story and I have left it for too long. As well I need to research more for the sequel to this story anyway.
4. I know the punishments from the last chapter may seem odd or the like, I have received notes about this. One big thing is that I do not support the policy of eugenics, it is an awful practice and the punishments I wrote are not in favor of that. I wrote it on the basis of the ancient punishments that rely on the notion that the punished cannot bear traitorous children, also I wrote that in a way that shows that such a punishments are reserved only for the most absolutely serious crimes and criminals. As well I wrote the punishments cause that is what I wanted to write and nothing more. I will not change it.
5. I know this is a very short sneak peak but this is because I have not written out much of the sequel yet and I don't want to go into to much detail because I don't want to give out spoilers.
6. A big thing for the sequel is that I plan to go in a different direction that what has come before me in writing Mass Effect/Code Geass crossovers. I'm not going to say what that is cause, you know, SPOILERS. Admittedly though I did hint at something in the sneak peak though I won't say what it is. *wink*
7. Consider this my belated Christmas gift to you all my readers, and a Happy New Year.
I'm not completely sorry for the ramble here cause I feel it was sort of needed. Anyway...

SUMMARY
An ancient battle millennium old will soon begin again, forces of dark order shall face an Empire of Light. Nations caught in the middle will choose and the future will be shaped in the stars. Peace shall reign in the end, whether it comes in darkness or arises in light. One way or the other the darkness shall come and face the Terran Star Imperium.
SNEAK PEAK
New Belgrade, Shanxi
Inside the command center of the city Commander Marshal Steven Hackett looked over the holographic map of the city with Governor Orson standing beside him. The old veteran Black Knight looked up and down on before looking at an ornate pocket watch. Looking back up to Hackett the governor spoke, "it is nearly time, are your ships maintaining their position?"
Hackett nodded, "they are the enemy is blind to our movements in those sectors. They will continue to jam enemy scanners for our ground troops, near as our intelligence can see they are still blind to our ground movements."
The Black Knight veteran turned official nodded, "good very good. Then let us begin the preliminary strikes."
Smoke rose to the sky as buildings and vehicles burned in the streets, mass accelerated slugs crisscrossed the streets alongside deep crimson bolts of energy. Men with magnoculars used laser sights to bring in mortar strikes and heavier artillery shells. Kill teams with rocket launchers moved through the buildings searching for enemy vehicles. Other Black Knights with VARIS MV-108 Sniper rifles searched under cover for other enemies who dared to show their ugly mugs.
Then a distinct whistling could be heard as a volley of shells flew over head and began to carpet the area before the lines of the Black Knights. As the barrage began to move forward one Black Knight sergeant stood up from behind the barricades. Motion forward with his arm he called out, "come on you bastards! You wanna live forever!"
Shouting the Black Knights rose up and surged forward down the street, every few steps they unleashed a burst of fire. Other Knights in the buildings above them laid down cover fire on the alien positions, MW-42 (Mass-Accelerator Weapon Mk. 42) heavy weapons unleashed hellish streams of fire down onto the streets.
With screams of rage the Black Knights reached the enemy positions, they then threw detonators into the enemy defenses. Following the explosions, the Black Knight leapt into action swiveling around and firing at those enemies that had not fallen. Several had to resort to their MVS blades to slash at those aliens that had gotten to close. But the majority of the enemy were unable to engage in hand to hand combat before they were killed.
When the firing had died away the Black Knights took up their defensive positions, this was a small push to prick the enemy but it wouldn't be long before the real surprise of their attack began. One of the Black Knights turned to look at one of the fallen aliens, he hadn't been in been this close to one before. Shaking his head, he remembered seeing pics of them before but seeing them in person was something else.
"What's the matter soldier?"
The Black Knight shook his head, "nothing sire."
He looked back at the dead alien, "man you are one ugly mother—"
A single enemy sniper shot flew past the man's head and he ducked underneath while friendly MW posts begin shooting at where the shot had come from. In the distance the rumble of more friendly guns began to echo only to drown out as shrieks and explosions began to drum in response. The time had come and the true counter blow against the enemy had begun.
Meanwhile above the atmosphere the enemy's fleet began to scramble as sensors began to detect massive energy signatures coming in. Anger and frustration mounted quickly as pinpointing the origin of energy signatures was difficult and the scanner operators had little time to practice the new techniques for doing so. At the same time fear began to mount as the amount of energy signatures began to mount and mount. Soon the scanners began to pick up the physical objects left behind by the energy surges. The great warships of the Terran Star Imperium had arrived, and the information cleared further, fear began to grow in the hearts of the Turian operators.
'It's impossible,' they began to think. 'They couldn't possibly be here, there's no way!'
Such thoughts spread through every ship that could see, and as the officers began to receive the information, they too began to feel pangs of fear and doubt. In all they felt disbelief what was bearing down upon them. For as the TSI warship formations began moving towards them it became clear, the TSI ships were not alone.
A.N. Just in case anyone is wondering I wanted to mention this
MW-42 is based on the design of the MG-42
VARIS MV-108 Sniper rifles are based Barret M107 sniper rifles
Yes these weapons are solid shot weapons and not full blown energy weapons. Just in case anyone is wondering the TSI uses a mixture of energy and kinetic weapons.
I did these cause I liked the way those weapons looked and decided to use them(again its my fanfiction). My suggestion is that my readers look up scenes from Jin-Roh to see a good anime adaption of the MG-42, or look it up for more ideas of what to picture. Again though I just did this cause I wanted to.
