CRITICAL Note: This WAS Day 7, but I pushed this to Day 8, and we have a NEW Day 7 now. It doesn't really change MUCH to the story, but you guys should still read it. I'm still working on this btw and I'm not dead (but my life is).
Mario's Pizzeria
Day 8
It was morning. Peach, Daisy, and Luigi arrived at the Pizzeria. It wasn't boarded up anymore; it already complete. Now, the workers were building the apartments upstairs and adding cables, wires and other things like that.
"Man, I'm still feeling light-headed from yesterday." Peach rubbed her head.
"Whoa!" Daisy exclaimed as they viewed the pizzeria.
"This place looks AMAZING!" Luigi looked around inside.
When you walk in through the doors, the counter was on the left, and the entire dining area was on the right. The kitchen was connected to the opposite side of the counter, with a door. There were single seats on the left and right of the main entrance, for people who would eat there by themselves. There were 3 vents in the entire area.
"The thermostat is behind the counter, so only the cashier can access it." One worker said to the three.
"How many of you guys are here?" asked Daisy.
"Thirty." One of them answered. "We work here in the morning, and another crew comes and works in the night."
"O-M-G," Luigi exclaimed.
Five of the workers were installing cables and wires in the main pizzeria. Five more were painting the walls, and the rest were all upstairs, working on the apartments.
"Those apartments are going to be sexy!" Daisy said. "I can't wait."
Luigi was worried. "I still have no idea how I'm going to fund all of this!"
Daisy smiled. "I know, donations!" she said. "We could get donations from people! By the time the construction is done, you can have some starting cash!"
Luigi smiled.
LATER...
Luigi stood on the street, holding a sign. It read: "Please donate to the Mario Pizza Shop".
A Koopa Troopa came by. "Why should I donate?" he asked.
"Have you ever heard of Mario's Pizza Shop?" asked Luigi.
"No." replied the Koopa.
Luigi stepped on the Koopa and kicked its shell away.
Yoshi and Birdo arrived. "YO, YO!" Yoshi saw the sign.
"We're starting a campaign for the shop!"
"I'll donate. What are y'all trying to do?" asked Yoshi.
"We are renovating the shop. It's going to be five hundred percent better."
"I love five hundred percent, yo!" Yoshi punched Luigi jokingly.
Yoshi threw 2,000 coins into the jar, and Birdo threw 1,000. The jar read: 3,000.
Daisy came and threw 20,000 COINS into the jar.
"HOLY SHOOT!" Luigi screamed. "How?"
"I stole them," she said.
"Daisy!" Luigi exclaimed and punched her.
"I was joking, okay! She shrugged. "And you can't hit princesses!" She punched him back. "I sold some crafts."
"You make art?" asked Luigi.
"Not art, CRAFTS. I craft gardening tools out of clay," she said.
"So like, watering cans, flower pots, and stuff?"
"Yup. I have been making them for 1 year now, and I earned all of that money. So, I decided to put it towards this."
"Oh, Daisy you're so sweet!" Luigi said. "You didn't have to do that, you know."
"It was my choice, and I'm fine with it," Daisy said. "I'll be okay."
"Come kiss me, Daisy." Luigi leaned in for a kiss.
Daisy smiled. "No."
Peach came and handed over 500 coins. The jar read: 23,500.
Donkey Kong came. He handed over 10,000 coins.
"HOW?" Luigi screamed.
"I have a banana stash!" DK said.
"But-"
"I sold the bananas, fool!" DK shouted.
"You sold all of your bananas for me?" Luigi began to cry and he put his hand on his heart.
"No, not all! I ain't crazy!" DK rolled his eyes. "Only like, ten percent of it. I need the rest for my potassium."
"Why are people so nice to us today? We've truly been blessed!" Luigi got on his knees and cried more.
Toad came, and he was VERY MAD.
"For goodness sake, we don't sell free pizza!" Luigi shouted. "Now leave us alone!"
"I don't care!" replied the talking mushroom. "I still hate you guys. I will make sure your pizzeria fails. I hope you all fail. I hope you all die because you lose all of your money, and you will not be able to afford anything. I will hate you guys forever even after you guys die."
"What is your pint-sized ass going to do?" Daisy asked.
*ZOOM!*
Toad grabbed the jar of cash, right out of Peach's hands.
"PEACH!" Luigi screamed. "Do your hands have butter on them or something?"
Peach looked at her hands and licked them. "Thanks for telling me!"
Daisy and Luigi facepalmed simultaneously. The jar of 33,500 coins were in Toad's hands. "Try and stop me!"
"After Toad!" They all ran.
*ZOOM!*
Toad ran on the street. Luigi dug into his pocket. It was an Ice Flower. Toad revealed a flamethrower.
"Jeez, Louise!" Daisy, Peach, and Luigi stopped running.
"Don't you move!" Toad pointed it to them.
Luigi threw an Ice Ball.
*FFFFRRRR!*
Toad used the Flamethrower and melted the ice ball.
"See what I meant? You guys can't do anything. You won't be able to stop me, or anybody. You guys are as worthless as cheese. Cheese does nothing but gets moldy, ugly, and nasty. That cheese describes you losers. It does nothing, but it tries really hard to get better and achieve greatness. You guys are as nothing but a pile of crap. You guys don't even know what to do right now." Toad said in a dark voice.
"We have to fight FIRE with FIRE!" Luigi dug into his pocket and pulled out an item. It was a Propellor Mushroom.
"No, that's not it," Luigi dug into his pocket again. It was a Mini Mushroom.
"No.." He kept digging in his pocket. "No, no, no, no." He kept pulling out the wrong items.
"Luigi," Daisy called.
"There we go!" Luigi pulled out a fire flower and ate it. Luigi became Fire Luigi.
"Luigi, look ahead and tell me what you see," Daisy told him.
He looked ahead. Toad was GONE.
"SHOOT!" Luigi stamped his feet.
"STOP, THIEF!" Peach screamed.
"Peach, doesn't Toad work for you?" Daisy said. "What has gotten into him?"
"I'll call Toad!" Peach pulled out her phone and called Toad.
"Hello?" Toad answered.
"Where are you?" Peach asked.
"In the castle, with the other toads, why?"
"Well-"
Daisy snatched Peach's phone out of her hands. Peach growled.
"But, aren't you running away with OUR cash right now?" Daisy asked.
"Uh, are you guys okay?" Toad asked. "I'm in the castle. You can even hear the castle music..."
Daisy heard the Peach's Castle music from Super Mario 64.
"That's the music I hear when I enter my castle!" Peach said.
"Yeah, so you guys are kinda cra-"
Daisy hung up, ignoring Toad's last words.
"If Toad is at the castle, then that means this Toad that has been attacking our restaurant, isn't the REAL Toad!"
"That's weird!" replied Luigi.
"So who is he?" Peach asked.
The evil Toad turned around. "YOuRE CorREct." He snapped his fingers.
*BANG!*
Lightning shocked in the sky. Toad rose into the air. Toad turned gray and black and glowed purple.
"I AM DARK TOAD." His voice sounded very distorted.
"Why are you doing this?" Luigi asked.
"Wario and Waluigi's orders." Dark Toad said. "They want this restaurant to go to hell."
"Of course." Peach said. "They don't seem to stop, do they?"
"Yeah, and yesterday they tricked us with this fake factory nonsense," Daisy replied.
Donkey Kong, Yoshi, and Birdo came running.
"What in the world happened, yo?" Yoshi asked.
"We heard something!" DK said.
"Look!" Peach pointed. "The Toad that keeps attacking our restaurant is actually Dark Toad! The real Toad is in my castle!"
"HEH HEH HEH." Dark Toad ate the flamethrower. "Prepare to die."
*BLAST!*
Dark Toad shot dark plasma balls, that magically came out of his hand. The balls were black and glowed purple. They were extremely bright.
"AAAHH!" Everyone jumped out of the way.
*BANG!*
"Easy!" Peach did a little dance after dodging the plasma.
*BLAST!**BLAST!**BLAST!**BLAST!*
Dark Toad rapidly shot dark plasma balls to Peach.
Peach screamed and used her umbrella to block it. The balls bounced off and hit Dark Toad.
"AAAAAAAAH!" Dark Toad screamed. It weakened him. He shot more plasma balls, but they were much smaller.
Yoshi ate most of the plasma balls and pooped out lots of eggs.
"LET'S A-GO!" Luigi called and pointed to Dark Toad. Dark Toad flinched.
Luigi shot fireballs rapidly.
Yoshi threw eggs rapidly.
Birdo shot eggs rapidly.
Donkey Kong threw bananas rapidly.
Peach watched rapidly.
Daisy threw glass bottles rapidly.
"Daisy, you drink?" Luigi asked.
"Shh," she replied.
"AAAAAAAAAAA!" Dark Toad yelled and he dissapeared.
"He'll be back." A female voice whispered.
"There's no way it was that easy," DK said. "Well, glad I could help." DK left.
"Yeah, Birdo and I got somewhere to go to do our business, yo." Yoshi put his arm around Birdo and left.
The jar of coins fell on the street. Peach picked it up.
"Still has 33,500 coins." Peach said.
"Oh look, a block!" Luigi hit the brick block. 500 coins came out.
"Hit it again," Daisy said.
Luigi hit it again. 500 more coins.
"I meant continuously," Daisy said.
"Oh." Luigi hit the brick block again and again and again rapidly.
1 MINUTE LATER...
Peach caught the coins into the jar.
"How many coins do we have now?" Luigi asked.
"100,000!" Peach said.
"Yeah!" They all gave each other high fives. "We can now pay for the restaurant!
"And the good thing is, there's plenty of more coins in here!" Luigi hit the block again.
A goomba jumped out.
"Oh snap." Luigi kicked the Goomba and it died.
"Let's visit Mario!" suggested Peach.
LATER...
They arrived at the hospital. They were in the room with unconscious Mario.
"God, where's Dr. Mario?" Luigi looked around.
"I'm here, relax!" Dr. Mario entered the room and fixed his white suit.
"Can we talk to Mario?" Peach asked.
"Okay, but, he needs a lot of rest." the Doctor said. "I can wake him up now, but you guys can only talk for about 2 minutes. He needs more recovery time."
"YES!" Luigi jumped in the air.
*BONK!*
Luigi hit the ceiling.
"Ow."
"Jesus!" Dr. Mario held onto the shelf since it began to shake.
"What's that?" Peach pointed to the shelf.
"That's our sleeping substance." the doctor said. "We will inject that into our patients to get them to sleep. It is illegal for personal use."
"Cool," Daisy said.
Peach spotted a weird Fire Flower on the shelf. It was inside of a cylindrical flask. "What's that weird Fire Flower?"
The fire flower was glowing bright, and it seemed to never stop dancing and bouncing up and down. It was shaped like it had a cubistic pattern.
"It doesn't concern you." replied the Doctor and he immediately went to Mario. "Alright, wake up, wake up!" Dr. Mario shook Mario.
*SMACK!* *SMACK!*
Dr. Mario smacked him a couple of times.
Mario opened one eye, then another.
"Oh...Mama Mia." Mario said.
"Mario!" Luigi shouted. "I'm so glad we can talk once again!"
"We have extremely good news!" Peach said.
"What?" Mario couldn't open his eyes completely.
"We are renovating the restaurant!" Luigi said. "It is a massive project to increase capacity, increase activity, and boost visits! I hope you will get to see the new restaurant soon!"
"Yeah, and It will have apartments upstairs!" Daisy said. "The apartments are being worked on right now!"
Mario was silent.
"Relax, we have 100,000 coins in this jar right now, Mario. We'll just turn this into a check, and pay the construction company, simple as that." Luigi said, pointing to the jar.
Dr. Mario squinted at the jar. "Hmmm..." Dr. Mario smirked.
"And about Toad, Toad was forced by Wario and Waluigi to attack your restaurant!" Daisy explained.
"What about the koopas?" Peach said.
"I'm pretty sure they're dead right now," Daisy said.
MEANWHILE...
Wario and Waluigi were at their house.
"We need to get Toad back! He was powerful!" Wario said.
Wario and Waluigi do NOT KNOW that the Toad that they are torturing is a different Toad.
"Koopas!" Wario called. "Find Toad NOW!"
"No." Green Koopa and Red Flying Koopa said.
"You have 2 seconds." Waluigi said.
"Why not give them 3? Wario asked.
"Whatever, it's not that big of a difference."
The koopas didn't move. "We're tired of you guys treating us like puppets. Leave us alone!"
"Okay, since you don't want to follow my orders, I hope you can follow this!" Wario turned around.
"What?" The turtles were confused.
*TOOOOOT!*
Wario ate evil purple beans hours ago. Evil purple beans turn your fart into a deadly toxic gas.
"DEUUUUUUGH!" The turtles inhaled it and they died.
"WA WA HA HA!" Wario and Waluigi laughed.
"If you're going to fart again, do it outside." Waluigi said.
BACK TO LUIGI AND THE REST...
"Luigi," Mario said. "Food...critic..."
"Huh?" Luigi asked.
"Ohhh, f-food critic...shut down...shop..." Mario said. "You wasting...money."
Luigi, Peach, and Daisy didn't understand, and they ignored him.
"By the way, the Toad that Wario and Waluigi are torturing isn't my Toad, it's a different Toad that has some dark powers or something. And he's still roaming around!" Peach said.
Mario closed his eyes.
"MARIO!" Luigi screamed. "He is dead!"
"Relax, it was me." Doctor Mario said, holding the syringe. "He needs more recovery time. Now GO."
"But-"
"GET OUT!" Doctor screamed. "GO!"
They left. Daisy hissed her teeth as she walked out.
"God..." Doctor Mario sat down in a chair and facepalmed. "I'm going to end up like Mario with my stress levels."
Luigi walked back into the office. "I forgot our jar! Oops." Luigi grabbed the jar and dipped.
The Doctor pulled out a paper, and he facepalmed.
The paper read: "HOSPITAL BILL: 5,000,000 COINS".
