Killer
Izuku landed inside the gates of UA, "Alright we are here" he said, turning around.
"Never...ever...do that again" Aizawa said with wobbly legs.
"Oh do you not like heights? Sorry, you should have said something then. Alright enough talk, where are we going again?" Izuku asked.
"We are going to echo gym, like I said there is someone we'd like you to meet" Izuku followed Aizawa into the gym. There they found a tall, skinny man that was wearing glasses. He was accompanied by a muscular blond haired student that had 1,000,000 written across his costume.
"So this is the vigilante you guys decided to hire" The tall man said looking at Izuku. "You said he could defeat All Might? I find that highly unlikely"
Izuku's eye twitched, "And who the h*ll are you supposed to be? Wilt from the Fosters Home of Imaginary Friends?"
Trying to hide his laughter, Aizawa turned away, "Not quite, the name is NightEye and this here is Mirio Togata"
"Call me Mirio, it's nice to finally meet you Green Lantern," Mirio said, holding out his hand.
Izuku reached out and shook it, "Right...so what I'm I doing here exactly?"
"You didn't tell him?" NightEye said, looking at Aizawa.
"If I did, he wouldn't have come," Aizawa said, his eyes half shut.
Izuku started to get frustrated, "Alright someone tell me what's going on or I'm leaving"
"We want you to test Mirio's abilities" a voice said coming from the entrance. Turning around Izuku found a tall skeleton looking man with blonde hair.
"Skeletor? And you are?" GL asked confused.
"Oh right you don't recognize me in this form" the man said. Suddenly a puff of white smoke appeared around the man and as the smoke disappeared All Might was seen.
Izuku's eyes went wide, "You…"
All Might stopped in front of Izuku, "I know you don't like me son and I'm not here to try to change your mind. I'm here to ask for your help, nothing more"
"Why should I? I still blame you for the death's of my family. Why in the world, would I ever help you?" Izuku said, staring at the number one hero.
"Because GL, I'm dying" All Might said to the surprise of Izuku. "What you saw a few moments ago was the result of a battle I had with a villain years ago. Right now I can only be a hero for a few hours, so I need a successor. Mirio here has agreed to it but I still think he needs to be tested. Will you help us?" All Might said bowing.
Izuku couldn't believe it, All Might was dying and he was bowing right in front of him. "I-I don't know what to say...I still don't fully understand the situation."
"How about this GL, agree to help All Might this one time and we will owe you one favor. No matter what day, time, or place, just tell us what to do and it shall be done." Aizawa said, hoping that this would convince Izuku to help.
"One favor? Anything I want? Oh, you are going to regret that…" Izuku said with a smile. "Alright fine, I'll agree to help you just this once but after that don't ask me for anything else. Especially if it relates to him" Izuku said, turning away from All Might.
"Very well, as we said before we want you to test Mirio's abilities and judge him accordingly." Nighteye said, adjusting his glasses.
"So I fight him…" Izuku said plain and simple.
"In lame man's terms, yes, we want you to fight Mirio," Aizawa said.
"Alright let's get this over with, come on" Izuku walked over to the center of an arena.
Mirio followed suit, his costume consisted of a white skin tight top, red gloves, blue pants, white boots and a yellow tinted visor. "Are you ready?" Asked Mirio.
"Yeah, ready when you are," Izuku said as his ring began to glow green.
Mirio ran towards Izuku, floating slightly above the ground Izuku readied his ring, but before he could create anything Mirio disappeared under the floor. "What the!"
Izuku looked around but couldn't find him, "Ring, scan the area for active quirks" just then the whole gym was lit up by a green pulse of energy.
'Quirk signature detected...behind you' Izuku turned around to find Mirio appearing from the ground ready to kick him. "Sh*t" with so little time to react Izuku created a green construct wall.
However to Izuku's surprise, Mirio's leg fazed through the construct wall and hit Izuku across the face. The kick was so hard that it managed to send Izuku flying into the gym wall shattering it.
Izuku was stunned, "So that's his quirk, he can pass through things," he then felt something warm run down his nose, reaching up he noticed it was blood.
"Sorry but I was told not to hold back against you," Mirio said.
"Guess I was taking this too lightly, alright let's switch things up!" Izuku pushed himself out of the wall, floating in the air he created several green construct copies of himself. "Get him boys!"
The green constructs of Izuku all ran towards Mirio, "You think this is enough to stop me?" Mirio said smashing one of the constructs into pieces. One by one Mirio destroyed them all, Izuku on the other hand was analyzing his fight patterns.
Every kick, every punch, every activation of his quirk Izuku would take mental notes, he needed to find an opening. Then he saw it, a chance, "There!" he said, firing off an energy blast at Mirio.
Mirio was fighting the constructs when all of a sudden they jumped out of the way, and from in between them a green beam of energy appeared. Mirio quickly activated his quirk letting the blast pass through him, "Nice try but my quirk allows me to pass through objects"
"I know" a voice said behind him. "But quirks are like muscles so that means there is a slight delay in which you activate your quirk. And in that split second your body goes tense, almost as if you are holding your breath." Turning around Mirio was met by a fist to his stomach, knocking the wind out of him.
"Take away your breath and your quirk becomes useless!" Izuku said pointing his ring at Mirio.
"Checkmate" he said, firing a blast that completely engulfed the young hero. The blast sent Mirio flying towards the wall completely destroying it. His body tumbled outside of the gym and finally rolled to a stop.
The heroes watching were in awe, Izuku just took down one of the Big Three. 'Even amongst the pros, Mirio had the best chance of taking the number one spot! And GL just took him out...he scanned for weaknesses mid fight. No one, not even myself could do that, at least not that fast' Aizawa said as his eyes widened.
Sir Nighteye was even more surprised, "T-This kid just took down Mirio!? Impossible…"
Izuku looked back at the heroes, "What? Did I go overboard?"
Just then Mirio appeared from the whole in the wall, "Man you really are strong...well it's my loss. It was good fighting you Green Lantern, maybe we can do this again?" he said, holding out his hand.
Izuku grabbed it and smiled, "Sure, anytime and anyplace"
Just then All Might and Nighteye walked towards the two, "So GL, what's your assessment? Do you think young Mirio is worthy of becoming my successor?"
"Hmm honestly...yes. I could tell while he was fighting, he is a good man, he has a strong will and wants to be a hero for all the right reasons. So yes, I do believe he is worthy." said Izuku, the heroes all smiled.
"Good, I knew he would be worthy. So All Might will you accept Mirio as your successor now?" asked Nighteye.
"Very well, Mirio will be my successor but not yet, I will wait until he graduates to give him my power" All Might said.
Nighteye nodded, "Very well, and thank you GL. Thanks to you the world will now have a symbol of peace once All Might retires." He said, extending his arm for a shake.
Izuku grabbed it and looked directly into his eyes, "No problem, glad I can help"
In that instant Nighteye used his quirk of Foresight on Izuku. What he saw scared him, but he didn't show it on his face. "Well I think it's time for me to leave. Eraserhead, need a lift somewhere?"
"No thanks I rather walk, anyway you're free to go we don't have much to do around here now that the students are at their hero internships" said Aizawa.
Izuku nodded, "Alright well, you know how to reach me if anything comes up. Later!" And with that Izuku took off, through the broken wall and into the sky.
Once he did Nighteye fell to his knees, "Sir! What's wrong" Mirio said rushing over to his side.
"T-That boy... he's going to bring about the fall of everything…" Nighteye said sweating profusely.
"What do you mean?" Asked All Might.
"I used my Foresight on him and I saw GL on a throne, with the lifeless corpses of every hero at his feet. He didn't have the green color ring, he had one that was pure black" Nighteye said with fear.
"B-But GL only hurts bad guys and besides he seems like a good kid" Mirio said, helping Nighteye up.
"What I saw was the future, that is his destiny." The heroes all looked at each other, they didn't know what to do with this information.
A Few Hours Later with Izuku
Izuku sat in Uraraka's apartment bored, since he was given the day off he spent working out and sleeping. It was now around 10pm and soon it would be time to go out on patrol. That's when he decided this would be a good chance to talk with Uraraka.
Charging his ring, he created an earpiece and instructed the ring to call Uraraka. "I hope she's not asleep yet" he said as it began to ring.
"Hello?" A voice said through his earpiece.
"Hey Uraraka, it's me," Izuku said with a smile.
"Oh Izuku! I was wondering when you would call me" said Uraraka.
"Oh missing me already?" Izuku said in a playful manner.
Uraraka blushed, "N-No! I was just...bored that's all"
"Right...well how was your first day?" -Izuku
"It went really well, Gunhead showed me around the office and we even sparred for a bit. I worked up a good sweat so I just got out of the shower" said Uraraka with only a towel around her body.
Izuku could picture her in nothing but a towel, and just the thought made him blush red. "O-Oh, well you must be tired, I'll let you get some sleep"
"Yeah I am pretty tired, well goodnight Izuku. Try not to stay out too late alright" Uraraka said with a bit of worry.
Izuku nodded, "I'll try, no promises though"
Uraraka smiled, "Well I guess that's as good as I'm going to get. Goodnight"
"Goodnight," Izuku said.
"Oh and Izuku...no naughty thoughts of me alright" She said giggling, she then hung up before Izuku could say anything else.
He smiled, "How did she know? I really can't hide anything from her. I guess it's time to go out on patrol" Izuku took off into the night sky.
In Hosu
Shigaraki and Kurogiri stood on top of a building with three mid-tier nomu's, "Are you sure the hero killer is here?" asked Shigaraki as his ring began to glow yellow.
"Yes, this is the city where he asked to be transported to," said Kurogiri.
"Good, then let's begin shall we? With the amount of fear these nomu's will spread, I will only grow stronger. Go my Nomu's and spread fear into the hearts of everyone in this city!" With a mighty roar, the three giants jumped off the building and began their rampage.
Meanwhile in the same city, Iida was doing his hero internship with his brother the Turbo Hero: Ingenium. "Now pay close attention Iida, there might not be any big crime in this city but you still have to stay alert. No matter how big or small the situation may be, it is your duty as a hero to treat every situation as if it was life or death" Ingenium said.
Iida nodded, "Of course brother, I will take every situation seriously!"
Ingenium smiled seeing how dedicated his little brother was, just then a voice came in through their helmets. "SOS! Any heroes in the Hosu area please converge to the downtown district! We are under attack by strange creatures! They have already taken down a few pros, we need backup now!"
"Iida!" Ingenium yelled out. "Let's go, we can get there the fastest. Once we get there you are free to use your quirk freely in order to protect yourself and others"
"Right!" with that the two ran towards the downtown area.
"Turn here, we can take this alley to get to the highway," Ingenium said, turning into an alley.
As the two speedsters ran down the alley a shadow of a man was seen above them, "There you are and right where I want you" reaching into their pocket the man pulled out knives and threw them down towards the two heroes.
As they were running down the alley Iida saw the glimmer of the knives coming down towards them, "Brother, look out!" he said, yanking his brother back. As he did, the knives dug into the ground where they would have been.
"Knives?" Just then the man jumped down onto the alley. "Who are you?" Ingenium said on guard.
"Someone who plans to cleanse this world of the fake. Unfortunately that includes you!" the man suddenly ran towards them with a sword at the ready. Ingenium knew who this was...Stain.
"Iida look out!" Ingenium pushed Iida out of the way as Stain sliced down. Fortunately Ingenium used his quirk to dodge but the blade still managed to cut him across the chest.
"Brother!" Iida yelled out as he saw blood pour down his brother's chest.
"I-I'm fine...listen you need to get out of here" Ingenium said, grunting in pain.
"No I won't run! I will fight alongside you!" Iida said running at Stain.
"Iida don't!" Ingenium tried to stop him but it was too late Iida was already running at full speed at Stain. Iida jumped up and tried to deliver a kick to Stain's head only to have him dodge under it.
"So you're a fake as well, alright then I'll take care of you first" pulling out a small hunters knife Stain stabbed into Iida's shoulder. Iida pushed through the pain and managed to use his quirk to kick downwards.
Stain saw it coming and jumped back, barely dodging the kick he looked at the two wounded heroes. "Not bad kid, if that kick had landed I would have been in some real trouble. Well doesn't matter now, I think I've wasted enough time with the both of you"
Raising both sword and knife Stain proceeded to lick the blood off of them, as soon as he did both Iida and Ingenium fell to the floor. "W-What is this! I can't move my body" Iida said, laying on the floor unable to move.
"This must be his quirk; he can paralyze people with just their blood, so this is how you've taken down so many heroes!" Ingenium said thinking back to all of the reports he read about fallen heroes.
"Exactly, predators don't play with their food so I'll just kill you first" Stain said walking over to Iida.
"NO! Please, don't hurt him! Kill me instead!" Ingenium said pleading for his brother's life.
Stain stopped and turned around, "You are willing to go that far? Very well, I will kill you first"
Ingenium smiled, "Iida listen to me, no matter what happens I want you to know that I'm so proud of you and I am sorry that I won't be there to see you when you become an amazing hero"
Iida was in tears as Stain stopped in front of his brother, 'Please someone help us! Wait...the device GL gave us! It's in my pocket! Come on, body move!' Iida's hand slowly began to move down towards his pocket. Keeping his eyes on Stain, his face turned to one of horror when he saw Stain lift the sword.
"So long hero!" Stain brought down the sword ready to kill Ingenium. *PRESS*
Just as the blade was going to pierce Ingenium a bright green light appeared blasting Stain into a nearby wall and away from the hero. "Looks like I got here just in time" a voice said.
Iida smiled as he recognized this voice, "GL!"
"Iida right? It's a good thing I gave you guys that device, so what's the deal with him?" Izuku asked, pointing to Stain.
"He's the hero killer Stain," Ingenium said.
"Is that right? That means I can just take him down and not worry about anything" Izuku said while walking towards Stain.
Stain pushed the pieces of rubble off of himself, "What the hell? Who the hell are you supposed to be? Wait...that ring...you're just like Shigaraki" Stain said as blood ran down his lip. "Doesn't matter, you are only a pebble in my way, so move!"
Faster than Iida and Ingenium could track Stain launched himself at Izuku, "You're mine kid!" he said, swinging his sword.
However, Izuku simply raised his hand and created a sword of his own. Once Stain's sword made contact with the green construct one, it shattered. Stain's eyes went wide as his sword was now in pieces, "What! Impossible"
"Nothing is impossible for me," Izuku said, creating two walls and smashing them into Stain from either side. Stain was now completely knocked out, now that he was, his quirk was starting to wear off.
Iida was the first one to get up, running to his brother's side he helped him. "Thank you GL, you saved us," Ingenium said as he was being held up by Iida.
Izuku smiled, "No problem, let's get out of here. We can let the other heroes handle him" he said heading to the end of the alley with the both of them walking behind him.
"Not so fast!" a voice said behind Izuku, turning around he found Stain had gotten back up and was now pointing a dagger to Iida's neck and a sword to Ingenium's back.
Izuku raised his ring prepared to fire but stopped when he noticed that Stain was using Iida as a shield, "Damn it! I don't have a shot"
"Shut up and listen, since you ruined my hunt, I think it's time for a bit of payback." Stain pushed the weapons deeper into their skin, enough to draw blood.
"Stop!" Izuku said wanting to blast him but couldn't.
"Don't worry you'll be able to save one of them, but only one. Now choose, who do you want to live and who do you want to die?" Stain said with an evil smile.
Izuku gritted his teeth, "How about both!" he said as the ring began to glow brighter as Izuku was done playing games.
However seeing this, Stain gripped the weapons even tighter, "That ring is based on thought, and in high stakes situations your response times are slowed. Not by a lot but just long enough where I can slice one of their necks. Are you willing to risk it?" Izuku stayed silent. "That's what I thought, now choose!"
"L-Listen GL, choose me and save Iida," Ingenium said.
Iida eyes went wide, "N-NO! Choose my brother, he's already a established hero and does more good than I do"
Izuku couldn't think straight, there were so many things running through his mind, "P-Please don't make me choose, I can't!" he said, his hand now shaking.
Stain smiled, "Come on hero, you now have 5 seconds before I kill the both of them"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!" Izuku yelled out, firing a blast of energy at Stain.
At the last second Izuku fired towards the direction of Iida, knocking the dagger out of Stain's hand he quickly pointed his ring towards Ingenium but it was too late. The sword pierced Ingenium's back and came out through his front.
Stain stood there as Ingenium's body fell to the floor, "NOOOO!" In a fit of rage Izuku created hundreds of green construct fists and launched them all at the same time towards Stain. One by one the fists hit Stain breaking bones in the process.
After it was over Stain was a bloody, beaten mess. Izuku ran over to where Ingenium was to check on him, the sword had pierced some organs and he was now bleeding heavily.
With half his face bruised, Stain gave another evil smile. "I-It looks...like you've...made your choice lantern"
Izuku snapped when he heard those words, running over he kicked Stain across the face. "Do you just don't care! Have you ever thought about the people you've killed! The lives you've ruined!"
"N-No, not even once!" Stain said, spitting in Izuku's face. "And I never will"
"I see now…" Izuku wiped the spit off his face. "You have no compassion, that means there is no hope for you" throwing Stain aside, Izuku pointed his ring at him.
"That's it! Kill me! If you don't I'll just kill some more!" Stain said laughing hysterically.
Izuku was about to fire a blast at Stain that was meant to kill him but stopped when he heard Ingenium grunt out in pain. "Lantern we need to get him to a hospital now!" Iida said, yelling at Izuku. "I get it! I want him dead too but now is not the time for that! We need to save my brother first"
"Fine…" Izuku ran towards Ingenium and began to form a bubble around him. Iida quickly jumped on and off they went towards the hospital. Landing they made their way into the emergency room, blood from Ingenium was starting to stain Izuku's hands and hospital floor.
The nurses quickly placed Ingenium onto a stretcher, as they did he started to lose vital signs. Iida and Izuku watched as they pushed him into the surgery room, looking down, Izuku noticed his hands were covered in blood.
It was now around midnight and they were yet to receive any word on Ingenium's condition. Iida had already contacted his family and were now in the waiting room with them. Just then the doctor came out, Iida's family quickly got up. "Doc, how is he? How is my son" asked Iida's mother.
The doctor had a sad look on his face, "I'm sorry, but the sword managed to pierce his intestines. There was a lot of internal bleeding, we did everything we could but the cut was too much. I'm truly am sorry, but he's passed away"
Izuku's eyes went wide when he heard the news, Iida's parents were in tears when they heard the news. 'T-This is my fault…' Izuku looked down at his blood stained hands. "N-No...not again…" The events of Maria's death began to flash in Izuku's mind.
Iida turned to Izuku to find a look of horror and disgust on his face, "GL, wait..." He tried to talk to him but it was too late. Izuku powered up and rocketed out of the hospital.
Back In Hosu
Stain managed to climb the fire escape on the side of the building, now crawling on the roof he began to think of his next move. "What to do..well first things first I need to heal. After that I think I'll move onto the next city"
Standing up he was about to jump to another roof when a ray of indigo light fell behind him. Turning around Stain saw a woman with light purple colored skin and long black dreadlocks. She was wielding a staff with the Indigo color coming out of it. "Who the hell are you?" Stain asked.
"Nok" the woman said pointing her staff at Stain.
Suddenly a beam of Indigo light engulfed Stain completely, the whole city watched as the sky was illuminated by this light. As the light disappeared Stain stood there with his head down, looking up it was slowly revealed that his eyes now bared the mark of the Indigo Tribe.
The woman smiled as Stain's attire began to change into one that was Indigo in color, "Nok…"
"Tor lorek san, bor nakka mur, Natromo faan tornek wot ur. Ter Lantern ker lo Abin Sur, Taan lek lek nok-Formorrow Sur!" Stain said in an unknown language, he held his hand up, showing the glow of a power ring.
Without saying a word the two flew into the air and into space. That day Stain was never seen again and he was rumored to be dead after a month of no activity.
With Shigaraki
"Did you accomplish what you wanted Shigaraki?" asked Kurogiri.
He nodded, "Yeah, I can feel the power of the ring growing! It's a shame that we lost the three Nomus but with this much power it is of little consequence"
"So is it time to move on to stage 3?" Kurogiri asked.
"Yeah begin stage 3, it's time we find some new members" Shigaraki said as his eyes glowed bright yellow.
AN: Boom another chapter done! Stain is now part of the Indigo Tribe, a lot of you wanted him to become a yellow lantern but that would have been too obvious. Stain is a cold blooded killer, so I made him feel compassion. This will not be the last time we see Stain remember that. Also Izuku once again loses someone due to his actions, how will he cope? What is Shigaraki planning? Stay tuned to the training camp arc to find out. I have big plans for a certain student of class 1A..guess who.
