AN: And we are back with another chapter! Thank you all for the support on this story, I appreciate every single one of you! So without further adieu let's just jump into it!
Time
Izuku landed near the base camp, "Thanks for the ride GL" said Mandalay stepping off of the green construct.
"No problem, so now we wait for them?" Izuku asked as he put the students' luggage neatly stacked to the side.
Mandalay nodded, "Yup and knowing Pixie Bob she isn't going to make it easy for them. So expect them to arrive until sunset."
"I see, that bad huh. Alright so what do I do in the meantime?" Izuku asked.
That's when Aizawa spoke up, "Nothing actually, we have to wait for the students to show up."
"Actually GL, if you don't mind, do you want to help us prepare the food? I know that's not part of your job but we could use the extra help" Mandalay said hoping Izuku would agree.
Izuku smiled, "Sure, I don't mind. It beats just sitting around and doing nothing" as he followed her into the building Izuku noticed that the small boy was giving him a stare but not one of anger but rather of sadness.
He was introduced to the rest of the Wild Wild Pussycats and as Izuku was helping he couldn't help but ask about the kid. "So about the kid...who did he lose?"
Mandalay eyes went wide, "How did you know?"
"His eyes...I lost the family not that long ago so I know that look well," Izuku said as he peeled another potato.
Mandalay sighed, "His parents were the hero team known as Water Hose. They died more than a year ago fighting a villain. Ever since then Kota has been really cold towards to heroes, if I had to guess why I think he blames them for not being to save his parents"
"Just like me, I too blame one hero for my family's death.." said Izuku.
"Do you think you will ever forgive them?" Mandalay asked.
Izuku stopped peeling, "I-I don't know but I am trying to, I really am but that feeling will always stick with you. Kota is still young just give him time he will come around, I have a friend who is helping me"
"Oh? Could this friend be a girl friend?" Mandalay said, teasing him.
Izuku jerked, blushing he turned away, "Y-Yeah"
Mandalay laughed, "Aww how cute, wait don't tell me it's someone from class 1A?" Izuku said nothing as he peeled another potato, "Ohhh it is! So who's the lucky girl? Come on tell me!"
"W-We should finish prepping the food," Izuku said, quickly dodging the question.
"Alright then but don't think this conversation is over" said Mandalay.
The sun was setting when the students finally arrived covered in dirt and dead tired, "W-We finally made it" Mina said, collapsing on the floor.
"Good job everyone, you did a lot better than the last group that came here," Mandalay said, trying to make the students feel better.
"I know you guys are all tired so get your luggage inside. Once you are out you will all eat dinner here thanks to the Pussycats and GL." Aizawa said pointing towards the suitcases.
Everyone nodded and went to grab their stuff, Izuku felt a bit of regret for throwing his friends off the cliff...just a bit though. Izuku then went back into the building and with the help of his ring he grabbed everyone a plate of food. "Alright guys, here's your food, pork cutlets and some rice," Izuku said, creating a long table with benches for them.
"Be grateful guys for this is the only day we are going to make you dinner. After you finish we have a hot spring in the back so feel free to use it" said Pixie Bob.
After dinner the students went to take a bath in the hot springs, for obvious reasons the boys and girls were separated. Izuku wanted to go into the hot spring but if he went in with the others his identity would be revealed.
Aizawa told him to stand guard on the roof since he knew there was at least 1 student that would try to peek. Standing atop the roof of the building Izuku kept an eye out and sure enough a short purple balled student began to climb the wall.
Izuku flew over and stood at the top of the wall waiting for him, as Mineta reached the top Izuku just smiled at him. "Sup Mineta, you going somewhere?" he asked with a smug look.
Mineta froze, "Oh hey GL fancy meeting you here...I know what you are thinking. So why don't we work together and all of us can enjoy the sight of beautiful women. What do you say?"
Izuku's ring began to glow green and Mineta knew what that meant, but before he could create anything Mineata was slapped down. Izuku turned to find Kota beside him, "If you are going to do something just do it, don't just stand there like an idiot"
"Yeah you're right, anyway thanks for the help. The name is Green Lantern" Izuku said, holding out his hand.
Kota smacked his hand away, "I don't care who you are, all you heroes are all the same anyway"
"Thanks for the assist guys!" a voice said coming from the girl's side.
Looking down, Izuku blushed when he saw the girls naked, "Mineta really is the worst," Jiro said, covering herself.
Izuku then made eye contact with Uraraka, she quickly submerged herself into the water as her face turned bright red. Izuku quickly looked away, "Hey GL, I personally don't mind you looking but you might want to look after him" Mina said pointing.
Confused Izuku looked to his side to find Kota red faced and wobbly, "Oh snap, guess it was too much for him. Thanks for the heads up girls, I'll put this up in the meantime so Mineta won't try it again" as he picked Kota up, Izuku pointed towards the wall below him and created an even taller green construct wall.
"Thanks GL we appreciate it," Momo said, waving at him. With that Izuku took off to find Mandalay, she laughed when Izuku told her what happened.
After all of class 1A finally got out of the hot spring Izuku went in by himself. Undressing he took off the ring and went in, "Man this feels amazing" after soaking in the water for a good bit Izuku decided it was time to get out.
The room was steaming, as he was changing Izuku heard a noise coming from the door, he quickly put on the ring and went to check the door but found no one. "Strange? I could have sworn I heard someone...guess I might be tired" little did he know that Toru had actually tried to see who GL's identity was.
She ran back to the room where all the girls were at, "Girls! Girls!" she yelled entering the room.
They were all wearing bathrobes, some of them were brushing their hair, others sitting down, and others already in their futons. "Toru? What's wrong and why are you naked?" Momo asked.
"Oh that...not important, what is important is that I went back to the girls changing room to pick up something I forgot and while I was going back I heard a noise on the boys side" Toru said, putting on her bathrobe.
"That's strange, all the guys should be done by now" Jiro said, playing with her earphone jacks.
"It wasn't one of the guys in our class, I opened the door to see GL naked!" Toru said with excitement.
The girls all stopped what they were doing and turned to Toru, "What?"
"I saw him naked, no clothes and no ring"
Uraraka looked on in horror. 'O-Oh no, his identity, if she found out…'
Mina's eyes gleamed, "OHHHH! Details now! How was he? Did you see who he was?!"
"He's skinny but he's really well built, I'm talking six pack and everything. If he didn't notice me I would have jumped on him" said Toru.
"Oh my, I kinda want to see this for myself now" Momo said blushing.
"Did you see...you know…down there?" Mina asked, pointing down.
Uraraka blushed, even though they've been living together not once has she seen Izuku naked, shirtless sure but never naked. "No sorry didn't see that, but judging from his body it has to be impressive"
The girls blushed, "So, did you see his face? Ribbit?" Asked Tsu.
"Didn't see that either, it was too foggy I could only see his torso. But man did that get me heated…" Said Toru fanning herself.
Uraraka breathed a sigh of relief, 'Good she didn't see who he really is...still seeing him naked…' her mind began to be filled with naughty thoughts. 'What they hell am I thinking! We are dating so it should be fine...right?'
After some more talking the girls finally went to sleep, they had a big day tomorrow and needed their rest.
Izuku went to bed too, but he was allowed to stay in the main building in his own room.
It was now the next day and Aizawa woke everyone up early, even Izuku. It was 5:30 am when everyone went to an open field. "Come on wake up everyone. Today officially your training starts, we are going to focus on one thing during our weeks stay here. That is your quirks, Bakugo catch" he said, throwing a ball at him.
Bakugo looked at it, "This is the same as the entrance exam"
"Yes, now throw it, let's see how much your quirk has really improved" Aizawa said taking a few steps back.
Bakugo with the help of his explosions launched the ball. He smirked as he thought he just shattered his old record of 750 meters.
"758 meters," said Aizawa. Bakugo's eyes went wide. "You may have improved mentally and physically, however you all failed to train your quirks. For the next few days you will train and train until you can't stand anymore and after that we do it all over again."
'Woah that sounds pretty intense. Glad I'm not a student.' Izuku thought to himself.
Aizawa smiled as he saw the looks on everyone's faces, "Don't worry though, the Lantern and The Wild Wild Pussycats will be helping you every step of the way. Now prepare yourselves cause things are going to get crazy fast"
The students were all given exercises they needed to do in order to improve their quirks. Uraraka was given the objective to increase the duration she can use her quirk without getting nauseous.
Izuku helped by creating whatever the class needed. It was now around midday when Aizawa came back to check on everyone. What he saw surprised even himself, Izuku was relaxing on a construct chair under an umbrella and with a drink in his hand. "What the hell?"
"Oh Aizawa you're back, come on sit down for a bit" Said Izuku creating another chair.
"What are you doing?" Aizawa asked, ignoring the chair.
"I'm relaxing? What I can't? I'm still helping them, and besides, Tiger is already taking care of the physical stuff. Also I can create constructs of myself if he needs the extra help" Izuku said taking a sip of his drink.
Aizawa sighed, "Well I guess you're right, just stay alert alright"
Izuku raised his drink, "Always Aizawa"
The students did this all day, even class 1B joined them in their training. Vlad King was the pro hero in charge of class 1B and he too put his students through the same routine as class 1A's. They did this all day from sunrise to sunset, the whole point was to increase the power of their quirks.
It was now the third day of the training camp and it was back to the same routine but this time Izuku was helping with hand to hand combat. "Keep your hands up and back straight," Izuku said, dodging Uraraka's punches.
Uraraka swung wide but as she did Izuku tripped her up causing her to fall.. However as she fell Uraraka grabbed his arm and pulled him down with her. "So how was that?" she said looking up at Izuku.
"You're improving," said Izuku on top of Uraraka.
"Thanks!" Urarka said, wrapping him in a hug while on the floor. "Now help me up"
Izuku sighed and lifted her up while she still had her arms around him, "Thanks" Uraraka kissed him on the cheek.
Izuku smiled as he set her go, "How did you improve so much?"
Uraraka smiled, "I had a great teacher. So anyway, the girls told me something interesting the other night"
"Oh what did they say?" Izuku asked creating some construct boxing gloves.
"Toru saw you naked…" Uraraka said blushing.
The gloves in Izuku's hands crumbled as he lost his concentration, "Huh?"
"The other day while you were getting changed she peaked at you while changing" said Uraraka.
Izuku blushed, "O-Oh…"
"Yeah...oh don't worry she didn't see your identity, so that's safe at least. Just be more careful alright, I'm the only one who can see you naked" Uraraka said, teasing him.
"U-Uraraka!" Izuku's face was now redder than a tomato.
Uraraka giggled, "I'm just messing with you, now come on. I still got some fight left in me" she said going into her stance.
Izuku smiled, "Alright let's do this" as the two sparred against each other, Aizawa watched from a distance and noted their behavior.
It was now the night time and time for dinner, however as they explained on the first day The Pussycats would not be cooking for them anymore so that meant the students had to cook for themselves.
Today on the menu was curry, Izuku helped by using his ring to cut the ingredients. After a while it was finally time to eat, Izuku sat with Aizawa and the other teachers. That's when Izuku noticed Kota wasn't with them, "Hey Mandalay where is Kota? He is usually by your side?"
"He's probably at his "secret" spot, if I remember it's somewhere in the mountains or something" said Mandalay.
"I see, then he hasn't eaten anything. He's probably hungry, I'll see if he wants a plate" Izuku said, creating a green arm that reached and grabbed a plate. "I'll be right back," he said, taking off into the sky.
"GL really is a nice guy isn't he?" said Tiger watching him fly away.
"He is, I still don't understand why he doesn't become a hero?" Ragdoll asked.
Aizawa sighed, "He thinks by becoming a vigilante he can do more good. And honestly maybe he can, we heroes are held back by rules, rules that he doesn't follow. He's doing a good job as a vigilante and as a teacher to these students, we are lucky he is on our side"
Izuku flew around the mountain looking for Kota, he then spotted him sitting at the cliff's edge. "Stupid wanna be heroes, they are all just pretending to be heroes" Kota said throwing a rock over the edge.
"Hey now, I know there are some bad ones but not all of them are bad," Izuku said landing behind Kota.
Startled Kota got up, "W-What are you doing here!?"
Izuku lifted up the plate, "I wanted to give you this, it's good I promise"
"I don't want it, leave" Kota said, turning away.
Izuku sighed, "Look I get why you hate heroes, they failed you and your parents. I feel the same way, there is a hero that I absolutely hate. Because of his actions, I lost the only family I ever knew. I held the closest thing I had to a mother in my arms as she died protecting my brother and sister."
Kota turned to Izuku, "You're just like me"
Izuku nodded, "Yeah, so I get it kid. So if you ever want to talk to someone or something just let me know. I'll leave this here for you" he said putting down the plate of curry.
Kota watched Izuku leave, he then looked at the food, "So stupid" he said picking it up.
Izuku made his way back to the campsite where he found class 1A standing around with The Wild Wild Pussycats. "Hey what's going on?" he asked, landing next to them.
"We are having a test of courage!" Mina said excitedly.
"Yeah this is going to be fun!" Kirishima said just as excited as Mina.
"Sorry but those who failed their individual scores in the final exams need to take some extra lessons, " Aizawa said. Mina and Kirishima froze. "So with that said, Mina, Kirishima, Kaminari, Sero, and Sato. You 5 are coming with me"
Mina and Kirishima fell to their knees, "NOOO! The test of courage!"
Izuku gave them a pity smile, "Sorry guys but next time try a bit harder. Tell you what do this now and I'll give you guys special lessons for later"
The 5 looked up at with tears in their eyes, "G-GL? Thank you! Thank you so much!" they said hugging him.
"There, there." Izuku helped them up and off they went to their extra lessons.
"Now the rest of you will be paired up in groups of two. Except you GL, you will be in the air in case someone gets lost" said Pixie Bob.
Izuku nodded, "Well have fun everyone"
What was meant to be a night of fun would soon turn to one of horror for the students and especially the Green Lantern. For there was someone who would stop at nothing to make sure Izuku fears him.
Shigaraki was waiting in the bar for Kurogiri to bring the new members of the league to him. His ring and costume pulsing yellow with power. As he waited he couldn't help but think back to yesterday when they spoke to the Lantern's mother.
Flashback
"Your boss says you know where my son is?" the woman with long green hair and emerald colored eyes said.
Shigaraki stood up, "You look just like him, tell me, who are you to him?"
The woman sighed, "I am or rather was his mother. The name is Inko"
"His mother?" Shigaraki lunged at her and slammed her to the ground by her neck. Four of his five fingers were around her neck. "Your son has caused me a lot of trouble. Maybe I should kill you and send him your ashes"
Inko smiled, "Even if you did that he wouldn't care. I abandoned him. I doubt he even sees me as his mother. However I want to make things right, so I can't go dying just yet."
Suddenly the bar was filled with the sound of bottles breaking, Shigaraki looked around to see razor sharp bottles pointed directly at him. "I've heard what your quirk can do, but let's see who's faster. Your hands or my quirk"
Shigaraki narrowed his eyes, "That look in your eyes, it tells me you haven't been a good person have you?"
"That's all in the past, all I want is my son and I will stop at nothing to get him back. So are you going to test my resolve?" Inko said making the bottles get closer.
Seeing the seriousness in her face Shigaraki got off of her, "Stop at nothing huh, alright we can get you your son back. I have plans tomorrow to attack the camp he's going to be at, you can go there at bring him back yourself"
Inko got up, "Perfect, after that you leave us alone and most importantly, he leaves you alone...forever"
Shigaraki's eyes went wide at her last statement, "You have something else planned don't you? This is not just about your son…"
"That is none of your concern, your friend knows where to find me so come and get me when it's time" Inko said walking out of the bar.
'She doesn't want her son back out of regreat...she wants him back for some other reason…' Shigaraki thought to himself.
Back in the Present
"Shigaraki, I have brought them," Kurogiri said, opening a portal. And out walked 8 people, this included Inko. She was wearing a green costume with a respirator/mask, think of Izuku's original costume just Inko wearing it.
"Good you are here," Shigaraki said. "We attack in a few minutes so I want to go over our targets again. I want you all to bring me these two"
Holding up two pictures, the faces of Bakugo and Todoroki were seen. "These two recently had an encounter with a red ring and I need them for something"
Just then a tall person who was wearing a mask and black trench coat that covered him from head to toe spoke. "What about the other kids and the pros?"
Shigaraki smiled, "Kill them, they are of no use to me. Do with them as you please"
Underneath the mask the mystery person smiled, "Good"
"Now go and do what you were assigned to do," Shigaraki said. Just as they left through the portal Shigaraki saw Inko staring at him. 'I can't read her, what is she up to?'
Training Camp
Izuku floated in the air watching class 1A go through the maze, "Looks like fun, too bad I can't join them...wait...I smell something...smoke?"
Turning around Izuku's eyes went wide, the forest was on fire but not any normal fire. This fire was blue in color. "This isn't regular fire, this has to be from a quirk. That means we are under attack!"
Izuku quickly created a flare gun and fired, a green flash of light filled the sky catching the attention of everyone. Before coming to the camp Izuku and Aizawa agreed if GL fired off a green flare it would mean that something was wrong.
Aizawa who was giving the extra lessons along with Vlad King watched as the sky turned green. "Oh no…"
"Aizawa what's going on?" Vlad asked.
"We are under attack, stay here and guard the students. I need to go see if they need help" Aizawa said, rushing to the door.
However as he did someone's outline appeared, and a massive fireball blew the door off its hinges. With little time to react Aizawa matrixed dodged the door that was now stuck in the wall.
"Leaving so soon Eraserhead? I haven't even started having my fun yet" said a tall slender man covered in scars and stitching.
The wild wild pussycats also watched the sky turn green, "Does that mean, what I think it means?" Pixie-Bob asked.
"We are under attack, but by who?" Tiger asked.
"By us" a voice said from beyond the trees. Suddenly Pixie-Bob was pulled by an unknown force towards the trees. From within the trees out jumped a lizard looking person and a white framed glasses wearing person.
A loud thunk was heard, turning around they saw Pixie-Bob knocked out and bleeding from a head injury. "Hello my pretties, we've come to have some fun"
Walking through the forest was Uraraka and Tsu. "I don't like this Tsu," Uraraka said, holding onto her sleeve.
"It's fine Ochaco, we'll just head back. Still don't know what that flare meant but it had to be something important. Besides, with GL here there is no need to worry, ribbit" Tsu said trying to calm her friend.
Suddenly from out of nowhere Uraraka began to levitate off the ground, "What's going on?!" She said panicking as she flew towards the trees.
Uraraka looked up to see a gleam of a knife swinging down. She tried to dodge in mid air but the knife still caught her leg, "Ochaco!" Tsu yelled out as blood ran down her leg.
"Ohh this one is cute, I wonder how her blood tastes!" Said Himiko Toga, licking the small amount of blood off of her knife.
"These aren't who we are looking for," said Inko, appearing from the trees. Looking down she saw who it was they just attacked. Her eyes widened, "You"
Uraraka was now face to face with a green haired and green eyed woman. 'Her eyes are just like Izuku's...who is she?'
On the nearby cliff Kota watched as the forest began to erupt into blue flames. "W-What's going on?"
"Well well well, look at what we have here. You're not one of the students, so who are you? Doesn't really matter though, you'll be dead soon enough!" A tall man wearing a mask and trench coat said walking out of the shadows.
Kota stepped back in fear, "W-Who are you?"
The tall man took off his mask revealing a prosthetic left eye that had a scar running down it. "Someone who enjoys killing" he said with a twisted smile. Raising his massive fist the man was about to kill Kota.
Suddenly a massive green fist knocked the man into the mountain, "Sorry but not while I'm here" said Izuku appearing in front of Kota. "Hey Kota, sorry I'm late"
AN: And scene! The Vanguard Action Squad is here, with a new member; Inko. But why? She clearly has a plan, does she truly want to make things right or does she have some other motives?
