I do not own Transformers. I only own Tiffani and Lexi.

Story Start

Tiffani sighed as another hour passed without anybody visiting her. "Behave or get the heck out of here," she thought as she looked around her room. "Escape," she whispered as she started sliding out of bed. She wanted to see if she could walk around without her side killing her too much.

"Lexi," a deep calming voice spoke from behind her.

Lexi spun around and frowned when a man she didn't know was standing there. He had a gentle smile on his face and beautiful blue eyes, which seemed to glow. He had brown hair with glints of red shining here and there from the lighting in the large warehouse that housed the Autobots. She was there to visit Bumblebee to get her mind off the near death experience she and Tiffani just had.

"Oh hello, do I know you?" Lexi questioned trying to be polite because she had not talked to many of the people on base.

"Yes but we have only met once before, I am Optimus Prime," the man introduced himself.

Lexi's jaw dropped and then she smiled in excitement. "No way, that's so cool, is it a hologram?" she asked and moved forward to touch his arm. She gasped when her hand went through the pixels. "That's fascinating. How did you do this? Can all the Autobots do this?" she started firing off question after question.

"Ratchet has been working on this for a while so we can communicate with the soldiers in a more comfortable manner," Optimus explained.

"Oh so more comfortable for the soldiers?" she replied and sighed when he nodded. "Well I think it's comfortable talking to you guys in your normal mech forms, so you can speak to me in either form you are more comfortable in," she told him with a soft look.

"Thank you," he said and then stopped in thought as a frown crossed his face. "I apologize for not being there to protect you and your friend. I made a mistake in not assigning the two of you a guardian after you learned of our existence," he expressed.

Lexi frowned when she saw how upset he was about the Decepticon incident. She reached out to place a hand on his shoulder. Even though it went through the pixels, it still seemed to comfort Optimus a bit.

"Unfortunately you couldn't have guessed when or if that would have happened, so don't blame yourself. Plus me and Tiffani are alive. Honestly, it would take a lot to kill that girl. Thank you for worrying about us," she said and blushed at the look he sent her.

"I do not know why but even though we barely know each other, I find myself wanting to protect you and learn more about you," Optimus said and put his hand on top of her hand on his shoulder.

"Well I'm here for a while until we get cleared to go somewhere else, so you'll have plenty of time to get to know me," Lexi said while her face resembled a ripe strawberry.

"Optimus, we have a situation at the human's medical bay," Prowl shouted rushing towards Lexi and Optimus' hologram form.

"Tiffani," Lexi shouted and took off running for the med bay.

"Let's go, and tell Ratchet to meet us there," Optimus ordered Prowl before his hologram disappeared. Soon Optimus and Prowl were following Lexi in their mech forms to the medical bay.

"Alright, so far so good," Tiffani whispered as she walked down the hallway. Her hand was bleeding a bit from where she pulled the IV out. She probably shouldn't have done that but she needed to get out of that hospital. Hospitals freak her out.

She quickly slipped into a doorway while some nurses walked by the other end of the hallway. She waited until they were gone before walking quickly down the hallway. She had made some wrong turns so far and almost walked into a surgery room. So hopefully this way would be the exit.

"Success," she whispered when she finally caught sight of a door with an exit sign over it. She took a quick look around before rushing towards the exit. Her side was starting to hurt but freedom was too important to let pain stop her.

She went through the door and smiled as sunlight hit her face. "So much better, now to find Ironhide, that brat didn't come see me," she grumbled and started marching towards where she heard loud shots ringing through the air.

"What do you mean you can't find her? She couldn't have gotten far from her room after unhooking the IV with the pain meds," Ratchet snapped at one of the nurses who had been in charge of taking care of Tiffani. He didn't really know Tiffani but he couldn't stand when a patient wasn't being taken care of at all times.

"You don't know Tiffani that well," Lexi said with a sigh as she ran a hand down her face. "Let's just split up and look for her. She could be anywhere by now," she suggested because she knew that it took a ton of pain to stop Tiffani from doing something.

"Do you think she would visit Ironhide?" Sideswipe suggested with a smirk since he had become friends with the femme.

"Sideswipe you are a genius. Where is Ironhide right now?" Lexi yelled.

"The firing range of course," Sideswipe said and took off there first before the others. He laughed when he heard Lexi yelling at him to wait.

Tiffani kept following the sounds until she found Ironhide and Bumblebee shooting at targets far away. She could barely see the targets before they were hit.

"Hey guys, what are you doing?" Tiffani yelled up at the two mechs. She busted out laughing when they looked at her like they couldn't believe she was standing there.

"Femme, what do you think you're doing out of that med bay?" Ironhide roared as he put away his guns and his hologram appeared in front of her with an unhappy look.

"You didn't come visit so this is your fault," Tiffani said and poked hologram Ironhide's chest even though it went through the pixels.
