As Lilith was laying in bed with Amity snuggled in her arms she began thinking back to how she first met her when she was six years old.

Lilith (Flashback meeting Amity)

Lilith Clawthorne was in Bonesboro patrolling the market today since it was her dutie as coven head to patrol that part of the isle on Mondays. Today for the most part the market had been quiet. She arrested a few thieves but other than that the market was not busy today. As she was walking past the stands she noticed a glimpse of green out of the corner of her eye. Then all of a sudden something ran into her and knocked her to the ground. When she looked up to see what bumped into her she saw a little girl sitting in her lap looking at her.

She guessed that she was no older than six. Lilith picked the child up while she was standing up and placed her on her hip to check for injuries. When she saw that the witchling had a scrape on her knee she performed a healing spell on the injury.

Lilith then took a good look at the girls face. She has green hair with brown roots sticking out and beautiful golden eyes. She looked so much like her old classmate Odalia Blight. The only way to find out if she was a Blight child. "Hello little one what is your name?"

The child responded "I am Amity Blight. Thank you for healing my knee coven head Lilith. I'm sorry for bumping into you I was trying to get away from my mom. She was trying to hit me with her staff since I accidentally broke a vase in the store."

Lilith could not believe what she was hearing. Odalia Blight was going to hit her child for a simple accident. She would protect Amity and she would not let Odalia hit the child. Quickly she thought of what to do and came up with the idea of making the child her apprentice.

If Amity was her apprentice then she could train her to be a great witch and keep her out of her house away from Alador and Odalia on training days. "Amity would you like to be my apprentice? We would train two days a week for a few hours after school."

Amity was surprised at the opportunity she was being offered. She thought about it for a moment before replying. "Yes absolutely! I mean yes I would like that miss Lilith. Thank you so much."

Lilith "Then it is settled we will be training on Wednesday and Friday. Now let's get you home." (End flashback)

When the memory ended Lilith looked down at her daughter in her arms and smiled. Her smile quickly faded when she remembered two more memories. The memories of Amity confronting her about the bridge duel and the covention.

Amity "How could you do that to Luz!? She didn't deserve to be thrown off the bridge and used as a human shield just so you could get Eda. You know he used to be my idol and a mother figure to me but now you're just the witch who almost killed my best friend and made me cheat without me knowing at the covention.

If you ever want to have a relationship with me again then you need to prove that you are the Lilith Clawthorne that I meant when I was six. The one who would give me my arthritis medicine when my parents took it from me. The one who would fix my hair in different styles and heal my injuries. Would pick me up from school and always made time for me on non training days. You would always tell me you love me and care for me so when you prove that you are that Lilith Clawthorne again then I will trust you."

All Lilith could do was nod her head and apologize to Andy before heading into the kitchen. When the memory ended she remembered a better memory of one Amity fell asleep in the chair in her room in the castle when she was the emperors coven head.

Lilith had received a text from Amity this morning saying that her parents took her arthritis pain meds again because they said it was weakness for a Blight. She worked on the potions for Amity and gave her one when she picked her up from Hexside at two o'clock. She could tell Amity was grateful and thankful.

She took Amity back to the castle and straight to her room since she knew her apprentices pain meds would make her sleepy in a few minutes.

When they arrived Amity beat Lilith to the room and fell asleep in the chair when Lilith got to the room she carried Amity over to her bed so she would be more comfortable. While Amity slept for a few hours Lilith had the castle chef bring up potato soup.

When Amity woke up a few hours later she could smell the potato soup on the tray.

Lilith "Do you want to eat now dearest since it is 5:00 or do you want to go ahead and start the lesson first?"

Amity "I would like to go ahead and eat now please and work on the new command you taught me for my abominations and a healing spell."

When they finished eating their soup the rest of the evening was spent practicing healing spells and abomination commands. Lilith congratulated Amity when she was finally able to make her abomination pick up the sword.

Lilith "Good job Amity I'm proud of you. Now why don't we go to bed since it is 9:00 and I can see how tired you are."

They changed into their pajamas and got into Lilith's bed. Lilith pulled Amity onto her chest and pressed a kiss to her forehead. "Goodnight night dearest sleep well."

When the pleasant memory was over Lilith finally fell asleep holding her beautiful little raven chick.
