Hey everyone,
Well, this chapter is going to be really important for more than one reason. It's not just going to be the chapter where I will FINALLY get to the next Chambers chapter, it's also going to be a chapter where there will be a lot of growth for both Lucius and Draco and where, I won't deny this, they will become very OC in regards to their CR selves. But then again, that is more or less the whole reason I decided to include them into this story.
So yeah,
Venquine1990
PS. I just want you all to know that, for some of these chapters (Son of Chaos, Preventing Trouble and this one) I only have a general idea of what I want, but nothing really detailed or substantial. Just thought you'd deserve to know.

Reading Room, Ariador
Draco's POV
The last hour or so has been pretty hard for my inner Veela to deal with. Now that Hari knows that I am meant for him – and especially now that our roles have been reversed – has my inner Veela been desperate to make up for lost time, yet at the same time do I just know that Hari needs his space to do what he needs to from time to time and I reluctantly let him.
And if doing so is going to be rewarded with my mate accosting me and almost kissing my lights out every time then I feel more than ready and even more motivated to do so from time to time. The feeling of that delicious body, those incredible muscles, those slim yet strong legs and that deliciously long hair covering mine is absolute heaven and I love it. Yet I know that we have been procrastinating and doing other stuff for long enough.
And so, while my Veela would much rather just continue where Hari is trying to – probably unknowingly – inspire me to go, do I gently pull my lips away from his and whisper: "That was brilliant, love, but what was it for?" And Hari tentatively answers: "Dumbledore had me cursed since I met him in Limbo, but me changing from Dominant to your Submissive mate broke the curse. I just felt I had to thank you for this."
Instantly fear and concern clutch my heart and I ask: "Cursed? Cursed how? What did he try to do?" But Hari gently cuddles with me and says: "Nothing dangerous or painful, Drake. He just tried to make it so that I would continue leading the Wizarding World the way he would have. It was a mental spell, but it broke when we changed roles. It's nothing painful and it's no more." And the happy relief in his voice calms down my own nerves as well.
I sigh in relief and then the king walks in and says: "That is why Hari asked the others to meet with him a bit ago and why I took him out of the room afterwards. I took him to the pool that is buried deep underneath this castle, where Elves can, if not given any other option, go to get themselves cleansed. Though the method itself certainly comes with a form of danger."
This makes me pull Hari closer again and the boy mumbles: "The pool, while cleansing, also fills those that bathe in it the need to stay within it, to just go down deeper and deeper, even if it sinks down to the point that their heads are no longer above the water. It almost got me, but grandpa and the other Elf kept my mind focused. I'm here, dragon, I'm here."
Yet these words only do so much to calm down my nerves and I use one hand to pull Harry so close I'm sure it's hard for the others to see where he end and where I begin. But I don't care for this and just use my other hand to summon the book to me as I mutter: "I need to read. Ronald is about to free you and I need to read of him doing so." And the others nod, all coming to sit back around me in the circle of chairs, couches and pillows as I start to read.
The Burrow
Instantly I feel quite intrigued, yet I also feel my inner Veela respond to this. I turn to my mate and whisper: "I am well aware of how homey the Weasley home is, but I hope you will, one day, accept one for us that is just as homey, just a bit more – rich." And while Hari turns red, does he then whisper: "I – I am a prince." Making me beam at him before I read on.
"Ron." breathed … twin brothers.
"Thank you." I then say and to my intrigue and happiness am I joined in this by all of Hari's family; his father, grandparents and godfather. The Queen then goes on and says: "I know I shouldn't as I am both a mother and a queen, but no rule or law should ever go above saving someone in need of rescue. And I am grateful that you proved this." The three beam at her and I read on.
"All right, Harry?" … live with –"
"Which doesn't even count as they're already aware of Muggles in the first place, not to mention that Dumbledore then went and broke the law himself, the hypocrite." Lindilwen grumbles, yet I notice Hari sharing a grimace with his friends and remember that my poor mate dealt with a similar situation a few books later. This makes me grimace as well as I continue the chapter.
"I told … the car.
"If either of them ever dare to touch you again, they're the ones who will be dead. And I don't care for the fact that one of them already has their death contract signed, love. My Veela is finally able to fully express itself and act out on its wants and desires and I am in full agreement." I tell my mate, who sends me a radiant smile that makes his whole face light up as I read on.
"Don't worry," … Dursleys' bedroom.
"How is that even possible?" Lindilwen asks shocked and Hari answers: "Privet Drive is basically the main road of Little Whinging. They have all kinds of vehicles, from regular cars to huge delivery trucks to fire trucks and ambulances ride through it on an almost 24/7 basis. There are only a few nights a week that this isn't the case." The girl nods and I read on, slightly confused.
When the … bit slow."
"The best kind of results come from a job done with just the right amount of effort. Simple and clean victories easily lose their worth and truly hard-earned victories can, sometimes, be considered more of a chore or a trial than an actual victory, if thought back to in years to come." Adeline then suddenly says and while her presence shocks me, do I agree with her as I read on.
There was … crashed open.
And while I had expected the owl, who had flown over to land on my mate's shoulder to glare at him in annoyance or something, does she actually hoot in something that sounds akin to guilt and starts to gently peck at his hair, bobbing her head in such a way it's almost as if she's styling his hairstyle. Hari smiles at her and softly rubs her belly as I continue reading, amazed at their bond.
For a … GETTING AWAY!"
And while this is supposed to be a really serious moment, can I not help my inner Veela as I pull Hari even closer and huskily whisper: "I am never letting you get away, not from me." Hari shudders at this and actually lets out a sound that sets my body aflame with love and adoration. He then turns red, yet his grandparents beam at this and I read on, loving the sound.
But the … Harry's window.
"There actually were a few others who had their lights on, but – Mrs. Weasley, don't worry! None of the neighbors saw us. We were already high above from where they were looking when they turned their lights on and they were much too busy looking at the house to even notice it. Trust me, I know none of them saw us – well, except maybe Mrs. Figg." The woman nods and I read on.
"See you … a ghost.
"And if I have to believe the elves that serve us our meals, then she has been entertaining a lot of our citizens with her beauty these past few days." The king then says, admiring Hedwig while also grinning at his grandson, but Hari laughs and says: "Scouting the area for signs of danger is more likely, right girl?" And Hedwig proudly bobs her head before I read on.
"So – what's … had finished.
"Oh, before I forget. Lucius, you'll be happy to know that Narcissa has indeed been arrested, I questioned her and got a few very urgent answers out of her, which made me call on the council of the other Royals and we also have a plan in mind that – might include the Dobby of this timeline. I'll tell you and Draco more later." Hari tells my father, who nods intrigued as I read on.
"Very fishy," … this stuff?"
"Should I take offense to that?" Snuffles suddenly asks smirking and Lupin smacks him over the back of his head as he says: "It said dodgy, not doggy, you mutt." But to this Hari shrugs and says: "So, we still thought it was a member of his family who was behind all of this. And we turned out to be right, just – not quite." At this Lupin shakes his head and I read on, snickering.
"I don't … against you?"
And while I already know exactly where this is heading, do I still feel Hari cuddling even closer with me and whispering: "This isn't the truth anymore, Dragon. Please, don't believe a word book-me or my friends say." And I whisper back: "I won't. This is the past, our past. It's just the way things were back then." Hari smiles at me gratefully and I smile back before I read on.
"Yes," said … our house …"
"And yet, quite soon you will all become one. I hope you're ready." The queen then jokes with the two young men, only for Hermione to suddenly ask: "Hey, that reminds me. How come Hari is already showing signs of growing into his Elf form, but we're not." And while I actually look at her as if she's lost her mind, does the queen just gently smile at her and say:
"That's quite simple, dear. Hari was an elf that hid his own form unknowingly. He had the form his whole life, but the rosary hid both it and his powers. Now that his form is back, his powers are slowly coming back as well. For humans who become elves it can sometimes take up to several months before they show their first sign." The girl nods at this and yet then Sirius asks:
"And what about other creatures? I mean, what will happen to people like Remy, Snuffles, Lucius and myself?" And this question actually astounds me, mostly over the fact that I never even considered it myself. But the queen smiles and says: "You will only, if at all, gain the powers of one of the species and, maybe, grow the ears, no more.
Though there is one big difference between the four of you – Sirius, Snuffles, Draco and Lucius – and sweet Lupin and Remus here. The four of you will be able to use these powers whether you are just in human form or if you transform into your Veela form. The same will not count for our lycans. They will lose the ability during his transformations." The teen nods and I read on, softly hearing Remus whisper: "Thank Meleniël."
Harry was … steering wheel.
At this Percy himself turns saddened and then he asks his family: "Remember how she and I broke up in Hari's Fifth?" His brothers nod, while I still hate every mention of that horrid year. "I know you think it's because she got sick of my attitude at the time, but – that wasn't the case. She was – well, as mum calls them, a scarlet woman.
And she was actually angry at me for feeling scandalized about it as she had started before had proposed to her and told me that she would make it some kind of condition in some pre-nuptial agreement she said she wanted me to sign before our wedding. Whatever that meant. Needless to say, I broke up with her there and then." His brothers nod, looking aghast and I read on.
"So, does … it up –"
This makes the king cross his arms with a frown on his face and he asks: "Does your younger self already work there, Arthur?" The man nods and says: "This is more or less the point in time where I start losing staff. Crouch kept convincing Bagnold that the Aurors were top-priority, which I do agree with, but he kept getting a budget increase caused by cuts in other Departments – like mine."
The king frowns at this and says: "That is just wrong. Your office is vital for the Statute of Secrecy, which is just being broken to pieces by the Death Eaters. I'm just going to assume that Crouch is using that as an excuse, but I won't let him. I'll send Moralis later." And for some reason does just that name fill me with a sense of confidence as I read on.
"But your … the ground.
"You guys actually watched American Football?" Hermione asks in shock, but the twins look at her weirdly and then Charlie says: "That's one of the words Fred said the most when growing up, Hermione. None of us even knew it had a Muggle history." And while this astounds the girl, does Mr. Weasley smile at his son in pride as I continue reading.
They had … Privet Drive.
"That was a house, this is a home." Hari happily smiles as he says this and then the queen makes my – and probably the Weasley's day – as she says: "You remember how all of our houses in the city look the same, right? that's only the exterior. No house is the same on the inside, anywhere in Ariador." Everyone smiles widely at hearing this and I read on, imagining my own home.
They got … the car."
At this a lot of us snort and snicker, but then Charlie turns to his brothers with a large smile and he says: "I'm so proud of you two." Shocking us all and then Charlie explains it. "The last time you guys came up with a solution to a problem that desperate that sounded that lame – was when you were five and Ginny fell ill. You were so concerned for her, you just lost your heads all together."
The two turn red, obviously remembering this and Mrs. Weasley gasps as she says: "I forgot about that. Oh, you boys were just the cutest things ever. You just kept running around the living room and kitchen, constantly bumping into each other and mumbling and shouting all of these crazy ideas, when all she really needed was plenty of water." And I read on, smiling at them both.
"Right," said … backed away.
Yet while I had felt a little confused over why the woman would compare these three, do I now feel really somber as I read this last part and just looking up proves that I am not the only one. Once again all of the Weasley family has gone to sit around the twins, the look on George's face proving he's still having trouble getting closure over the temporary loss and I read on, feeling like a right jerk for doing so, but knowing that I need to.
"I'm very … followed her.
"I'm sorry I frightened you, Hari dear, but I – I was just – just so – so scared for –." The woman hiccups and Hari nods before I suddenly notice Snuffles whispering something in Merden's ear. The Time Elf looks thoughtful and then whispers something back, making the older Black nod, a small relieved smile on his face. Wondering what the two could be on about, do I read on.
The kitchen … Celestina Warbeck."
"She actually broke through? Wow, did not see that coming." Sirius suddenly says and Snuffles rubs the back of his head as he says: "That's – kind of my work." We all turn to him and he says: "Celestina saved my life during one of fights, but she did so working as a part-time vigilante – outside London – and she asked for a reward.
I later found out that she did so, so she could use the earned rewards as a fund to pay her rise to fame. I did so just before – well, you know – and decided what the heck, you only live once, so I tripled the amount I was supposed to pay her and gave her that as well, alongside the reward money." And while this makes some of those around me gape at the man, do I just snort and read on.
Mrs. Weasley was … seen you –"
While I read this, do I notice the queen sending a questioning glance at both Sirius and Snuffles, the former of the two cringing before the both of them nod in some form of acceptance. "Molly, would you like to talk with me later? To discuss and share raising methods, you know? Mother to mother?" The queen asks and the woman nods happily at this before I read on, feeling intrigued.
She flicked … the mantelpiece.
"Wait, who?" Lucius suddenly asks and I groan as I mutter: "Meleniël bless you." And Hari nods before Severus says: "He's a Second year Ravenclaw, though he definitely has the Slytherin ambition and – sorry – but he has Valivial's old sense of arrogance. In fact, sometimes I thought that Valivial had taken Lockhart as his protégé or something."
At this Jaurion groans and says: "Trust me, you're not the only one. He seems to think the same thing. Professor McGonagall actually put him in detention for a month just a few weeks ago because he kept trying to – ugh – woo the Fat Lady into letting him in so he could – blergh – get tips from his senpai. I don't even know what senpai means!" The man moans in the end.
Some of the others laugh and snort at this, yet the twins look at each other and Fred says: "Wow, a Gilderoy Lockhart –.""Who thinks that someone else –.""Is actually better than him.""Who would've thought." And this makes everyone who had the man for a teacher burst out laughing while Lindilwen explains the term to the other teen, making Jaurion grimace even more as I read on.
George groaned. … them all.
"I'm guessing I can't do that with you, huh love?" I ask, my inner Veela coming out once more and Hari actually makes me feel horrified as he says: "Let me put it this way, Dragon. If I ever catch you even so much as try to wink at me like that, you will need the kind of glasses I wore the first day we met." And while this image makes me feel almost physically ill, do I read on.
Mrs. Weasley … a potato.
Yet this, for some reason, makes Jaurion look out of the windows in the room with a look of great concern on his face. "Don't worry, son. King Upole of the Empathy kingdom told me at one of our more recent meetings that he pulled the usual trick a few weeks ago. Their numbers are under control and they are nowhere near the border." Jaurion nods and I read on, feeling intrigued.
Ron held … the house.
This makes the man in question grin widely and then the king smiles at him and ask: "There really is nothing like it, is there? Coming home to a place where you know you are loved?" And while Mr. Weasley shakes his head, do I smile as I notice my own mate copying his movement. "You're always home with me, love." I whisper at him before I continue reading.
Mr. Weasley was … shouted Mrs. Weasley.
"Actually Molly, that's not quite true." Snuffles suddenly says and this makes the woman gape at him before she whimpers: "You – you didn't." But Snuffles nods and says: "Arthur got himself into a bit of a tussle and I got him out of it. And I was only two days away from actually buying my little sweet one, so he decided to do me a favor." And while this amazes the other Weasleys, do I read on.
"Just so … Harry Potter?
"I loved you the minute you asked that first question. Also, you didn't fool me for one second. I saw you tense when you heard one more chair scrape on the floor, so you knew I was there the whole time." My mate shocks us all and yet Mr. Weasley only sends him a playful smirk and says: "Way to ruin the fun, Hari." Making my mate laugh as I continue to read.
Very pleased … went pink.
"I said it before and I'll say it again. It's a home." Yet then Hari suddenly starts looking uncomfortable. Yet Mr. Weasley seems to already know why and he says: "Hari, you're a prince. You may not have been raised one, but your family is so old, it's only natural for that sense of rich comfort to be in your genes. It's only natural that you feel more comfortable here.
After all, everyone has their home. They may feel home at the homes of friends, but witches and Muggles – and probably Elves too – don't have one shared saying without reason. There really is no place like home. And you, Hari Jaurion Valivial, you finally found yours. At long last." And the man almost tears up himself as he says this, causing for my mate to smile at him, tears in his eyes.
Well said, Arthur,
And what do you guys think Snuffles was talking with Merden about? And what do you think she was looking at both him and Sirius for before she asked to speak to Molly about? And most importantly, how long do you think it will take before the others will start to show their signs of growing into their own Elf powers?
So many questions,
