In Twilight Town's mansion, Namine was nearly finished connecting Sora's memories. She had tried to explain to Roxas that he wouldn't disappear but rather become whole when he joined with Sora. DiZ pulled her out of the datascape and forced her back into her room to finish Sora's memories. She began to sing about her plight.

"Locked inside a mansion
Kept behind a wall
Sheltered from a world you've barely known

Namine thought about everything she had been through since the beginning of her existence. She had traded one prison for another, but she was stronger. From defying Larxene to trying to tell Roxas the truth, she had learned to be brave. She had been through so much to make her the person she was at that moment.

"Bound up by your worries
Trapped by your mistakes
Forced to play a role you never chose
Why not test your limits
You've got what it takes
Let it out and follow where it goes

No more letting someone else define you to a T

You've known it all along
So seize the day

Namine began shuffling through her sketchbook, looking for a blank page to write on.

"Now it's up to you and what you'll do
And who you'll be"

For the first time in her life, Namine began drawing something that had nothing to do with Sora. She wanted this picture to be about her.

"You get to decide how far and wide you'll go
So look to the horizon
Open up your wings
Fly away to find your destiny
And set yourself free"

Namine smiled at the picture she drew. It was a picture of her with wings in a cage with the door wide open.
